Someone’s Doing The DOJ and FBI Interrogations and It’s Not Congress…

On a Monday night (February 12th, 2018) episode of Tucker Carlson a Democrat member of the House Intelligence committee said something interesting that almost everyone missed.  Appearing on the show to joust with Tucker, HPSCI member Eric Swalwell stated: “the House Intel Committee has not interviewed a single witness in over a month”.  [Video Here, quote @03:47]  This statement is rather enlightening.

A month earlier, January 4th, 2018, an agreement was finally made between House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes and DOJ Asst. Attorney General Rod Rosenstein for complete disclosure of all unredacted documents AND a list of witnesses who Nunes wanted the HPSCI to question.

Included in those names was:  FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page, who exchanged anti-Trump text messages during an affair and previously worked on the special counsel’s Russia probe; FBI general counsel James Baker, who was reassigned; FBI head of counterintelligence Bill Priestap, whom ex-FBI boss James Comey testified made the decision not to brief Congress about the Russia case during last year’s election; and Bruce Ohr, a DOJ official reassigned after concealing meetings with figures involved in the dossier.

The January 4th agreement between Devin Nunes and Rod Rosenstein was made after a great deal of back-and-forth.  Chairman Nunes then documented the agreement in a letter.

On January 8th, Bruce Ohr was demoted for the second time.  [AND DOJ officials scheduled Bruce Ohr to be available to Devin Nunes on January 17th]

On January 9th, the DOJ provided the unredacted DOJ/FBI documents requested to Chairman Nunes; the documents the DOJ produced surrounded the Clinton-Steele Dossier and the FISA Title-1 application.   The documents were assigned to a SCIF in the basement of the House.  Those documents become the basis for Chairman Nunes to outline his memo; essentially a declassification request to the White House written by Trey Gowdy.

As a result of the agreement between Rod Rosenstein and Devin Nunes, one member from each side of the HPSCI aisle (one Democrat and one Republican) was permitted to review the original FISA application documents which included the Clinton-Steele dossier use therein.

Trey Gowdy and Adam Schiff were the two Intel committee members who reviewed. (Remember, this is January 9th, 2018)  [Only Gowdy, Schiff and House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte reviewed the original FISA documents]

A week later, January 16th, 2018, Chairman Nunes  postponed the witness interview with DOJ official Bruce Ohr scheduled for the next day, January 17th.

Instead, on January 18th, 2018, the HPSCI voted to allow all members of the House to review the Nunes-Gowdy Memo created after the DOJ provided the documents (January 9th).   [January 18th THROUGH February 2nd was #ReleaseTheMemo]

Now remember, throughout this time none of those prior agreed-upon FIVE witnesses (Strzok, Page, Priestap, Baker, Ohr) have been interviewed.  Everyone’s attention shifted from witness testimony to the Memo; and as Democrat Eric Swalwell stated, no witness was interviewed. Period. [<- key point].

So to summarize so far: during January all the DOJ documents arrived, the HPSCI (Nunes) memo was written, released, declassified and released to the public on February 2nd, 2018 but no witnesses testified.  [Nunes Memo – Link]

So the question becomes:

How does the exact testimony (including quotes) of Bruce Ohr, and Bill Priestap become part of the Nunes Memo if neither Bruce Ohr or Bill Priestap was ever interviewed by the House Intelligence Committee?

Who is doing the interrogations of Bill Priestap and Bruce Ohr?

It’s not the HPSCI.  It’s not the House Judiciary Committee and it’s not the Senate (Chuck Grassley).  [Remember Grassley is relying on responsive FD-302’s provided by the FBI.]

See where this is going?  DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz has interviewed these witnesses and extracted testimony.  Can you see now why Nunes was in ‘no hurry’ to interview the FIVE? (Strzok, Page, Ohr, Baker and Priestap).

Let me remind everyone that each of the aforementioned names is still within the system.  Unlike Mike Kortan, David Laufman, Sally Yates, James Rybicki or Andrew McCabe, none of the five (Strzok, Page, Ohr, Baker, Priestap) have been removed.  Peter Strzok is in FBI HR; Lisa Page is doing something; Bruce Ohr and James Baker are holding down chairs somewhere; and Bill Priestap is still Asst. FBI Director in charge of counterintelligence.

It doesn’t go unnoticed the media are transparently not following up on Peter, Lisa, Bruce Jim or Bill.  No satellite trucks in front of their houses etc.; no pounding on their doors for comment etc.  Nothing.

Further, ask yourself why Inspector General Michael Horowitz (or someone thereabouts) began to advance upon the entire ‘Trump operation’ with releases of Peter Strzok and Lisa Page text messages?  Why them? Surely, other collaborative communication was also captured, yet we only heard of Page and Strzok.  Why?

Here’s what is becoming transparently obvious.  The fab-five are cooperating with the investigative unit of the OIG.  All five of them.

The text message release was strategic.  It was intended to substantiate the entire enterprise, put the ‘small group on notice’ and flush out the co-conspirators.  The downstream exits of Kortan, Laufman, Rybicki, McCabe et al are evidence therein.

Additionally, the OIG  (Horowitz) would want to keep the testimony of Page, Strzok, Ohr, Baker and Priestap away from the Democrat politicians, well known leakers, within the House Intelligence Committee (ie. Eric Swalwell and Adam Schiff) until he was certain their usefulness as witnesses was exhausted.

The reason for this is transparently simple.  The OIG is a division inside the Department of Justice.  During an internal investigation if the IG becomes aware of unlawful activity he/she is obligated to inform the AG (Sessions) or AAG (Rosenstein).  He can’t ignore it and he cannot delay notification of it.  Unlawful activity must be reported.

The IG does not have legal or prosecutorial authority – the IG must immediately refer unlawful activity to the proper authority; essentially to his boss.  A DOJ prosecutor is then assigned to work with the IG and essentially creates a parallel investigation focused only on the law-breaking part. [That prosecutor could, likely would, then begin a Grand Jury proceeding; no-one outside the AG, AAG, and that prosecutor’s office would know.]

The prior testimony/statements to the IG by the fab-five would explain why AAG Rod Rosenstein was negotiating with Devin Nunes, and why Nunes came away from those negotiations with wind in his investigative sails.

The DOJ (Rod Rosenstein) needs to wall-off the politics (Devin Nunes) from the ongoing investigation (DOJ-OIG-Prosecutor) to preserve the integrity of his advancing and  assembling case (including witness testimony). Understanding this, after a review of the FISA documents – Nunes dropped/postponed his demand for immediate testimony by the fab-five to the HPSCI.  [A record is already established]

As a person familiar with such specific investigative measures recently shared:

“They are sat down, told to not do anything, say anything or discuss anything UNTIL they get an attorney. At which time, the attorney is handed a letter from the investigating unit. That letter says in essence, this is how screwed you are. If you want to be less screwed you will sign this letter of cooperation and assist us. When we don’t need you, you sit there. When we do we will call you and you will provide what we need. Any deviation from this agreement lands you in jail for the full term.”

Additionally regarding Bruce and Nellie Ohr:

“The Republican memo states they turned over all their work and testified to someone that Bruce Ohr met with Christopher Steele and Steele was saying he didn’t want Trump in office. They didn’t testify to a Congressional committee, so it had to be the IG.”

All of the news and information coming forward, including the withdrawal of the request for the Democrat memo, aligns with a very specific fact pattern.  Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, James Baker, Bill Priestap, Bruce Ohr and likely Nellie Ohr, have cut some kind of deal with the IG for process leniency in exchange for cooperation.

The Five have provided the IG and the DOJ with sworn statements and testimony which is highlighted in investigative communication between the DOJ and Chairman Nunes; and we see snippets surfacing in the Nunes memo.

That perspective explains everything seen and not seen.

It is very likely the final investigative summary from the Department of Justice, Office of Inspector General (DOJ-OIG), Michael Horowitz, is going to be rather stunning and encompassing:

This also puts the Susan Rice email to herself in a more encompassing light.

Here is what I don’t get ….. The MSM, et al, must be aware of this place, one way or another, and all of the information laid out here (and in other places, not as well mind you – H/T Sundance 😉 – )

When they read things like this …..

“The Republican memo states they turned over all their work and testified to someone that Bruce Ohr met with Christopher Steele and Steele was saying he didn’t want Trump in office. They didn’t testify to a Congressional committee, so it had to be the IG.”

How can they still ignore the story of what is happening? It is all about to explode when the IG’s report comes out. Even though they have fought for their “narrative” to the death, at some point don’t they have to just begin to acknowledge that there is something big about to happen?

    Honestly.

Or maybe they are liable to civil suit from people harmed – Flynn leaps to mind.

I look at it this way. We conservatives have several priorities, and getting those taken care of is the goal, moreso than getting revenge on big-shots x, y, and z. But the way the game is being played in the Trump administration – seems to me it’s directed at the larger goals, by lining up the witnesses and documentation to the point that the bad guys are surrounded. It’s like great chess and checkers too. In checkers, the game is so well known that experts will tie 100 times before someone wins, so the goal there (unlike chess) is to play for the tie and wait for the opponent to make a mistake. And they will make mistakes.

I just wrote out a lengthy argument using Q’s own words on the msm being taken down. I walked away for no more than a few minutes and when o returned, all of it was gone, and I was booted off of WordPress again.

This is becoming more frequent and more frustrating. I’ve previously typed out the exact quotes from Q, but if anyone is interested, I will type it out again, just not with all of my gobblygook to go with it. Dang it, it wasn’t bad either, my gobblygook that is. 😋

I’m replying this under yours because even though his wasn’t the exact same spot, it was under your post and to do with your subject. Plus, I didn’t think you’d mind me butting in. 🙃

One thing you can try with WP is to reply to posts directly in the WordPress notifications area (the reply box with a “SEND” button in the double menu you get if you click on the pin, and then click on a reply TO you). If you do that, and something happens, what you type as a reply is actually SAVED in the answer box, and if you come back to it, the text is still there. I now use that quite frequently to get around losses.

If you want to just post links to Q stuff, that’s fine. That works, too, and it’s a lot faster!

In any case, definitely appreciated! I was just looking at today’s stuff. VERY cryptic.

Great idea, unfortunately for me, when I try to type out my replies directly from WordPress all craziness happens. For instance, I will be able to see the first line of what I type and then it all disappears and I have to type blind. I’m not kidding. If by chance I am somehow able to get it back up, and this does happen once in awhile, it’s almost impossible for me to correct my errors. I will click to put my curser where needed and it will either blank out again, or show the little box I’m given to type in. What I mean is, I will get to see a few lines, but when I try to insert the curser where I want it, it will just pop up the whole box. If I try it about five or six times or more, it won’t show where the curser really is and when they keyboard comes up and I start typing or trying to correct, it might put the curser between letters or punctuation. For example, I would get this, “ reall?y , whhy isthis happeningr ight now ?”

And it’s so much fun typing in the dark or an empty box with all of my words invisible.

It sounds crazy, but this and other things happen too when I try to reply directly from WordPress. But I really do appreciate you taking the time to help me out.
                Stay smiling,

CNN (and other Commie MSN sites) get a subsidy from bundled cable TV bills. Every month, ESPN gets almost $8 slice of your Cable TV bill, and CNN gets almost $7 from your payment. That is regardless of their ratings.

Cut the cable, like we did 4 years ago. Many Americans have too. CNN just had to lay off 50 people, for the first time ever!

Starve the LIBERAL MSM out by cutting your bundled cable TV subscription! Stop paying about $125 / month and keep your Internet provider (about $50 / month) and then add a few streaming services for about $10 / month to let you see what you really watch, and stop paying for all of the LIBERAL BS “stations” that you don’t watch.

Bundled Cable was an invention of Ted Turner to make sure his CNN was raking in the $$$,$$$,$$$ regardless of the viewership.

The interlocking boards of directors along with the liberal think tanks and social networks make any splitting up of the corporate media ineffective. I think so anyway. I believe we have to somehow deal with the fact that these media are really owned and/or controlled at the top by the biggest corporations and richest oligarchs, who set the talking points that the MSM follow. We will have to somehow establish an independent media and give it a large-scale credibility with the public, so that the media who are heavily funded by big-corporate advertising, or are funded in other ways for the purpose of peddling propaganda, cannot compete with the independent media.

From an Email I was writing –

One thing I do believe, from these stories to the Russian Collusion thing, is that the deep state, the media, and the Dems are doing everything they can to throw shit at Trump in order to distract him from doing his job, protect their asses, and continue to enrich themselves. As these efforts mount, then fail and are disproved, the voters are getting more and more disillusioned with such effort, and angry at the perpetrators. The MSM audience is not as big as they think compared to talk radio, internet, and the blogosphere.

The result, my current prediction – the Dems are going to get absolutely shellacked in the fall elections, losing up to 10 senate seats and 20 or 30 house seats (high estimate). IG Horowitz’s report is going to be a huge weapon and a rightfully angry President Trump is going to break the game using it to hammer out history’s highest ever score in Political Whack-a-Mole.

I see evil in the Clintons and Obama, to name a couple of examples, because merely operating a criminal syndicate isn’t enough for them. They’ve dedicated their lives to destroying good in all of its forms, which we can see in the people who’ve inspired and shepherded them over the decades.

My thought on these motions for leave is that they must pertain to the fruit of the poisonous tree with regard to General Flynn and with regard to a sitting president and his family. So, could this be the improper and illegal personal surveillance of Flynn and the Trumps, all of which surveillance was for the unconstitutional purposes associated with the overthrow of a duly elected president and his private and deliberative conversations with his Director of National Intelligence.

With all of this having arisen within the same time frame of the conflict of interest that caused a change of heart from a FISA judge, and the release of the Nunes memo outlining the nefarious shenanigans which led to the FISA authority. Too many things began to unfold within a few days, leading to a splintered effect of the remaining cases.

Julia Ioffe, Martha Raddatz, Barbara Walters, David Gregory, Michael Isikoff, Bill Kristol, Nicholas Kristof, John Podhoretz, Jennifer Rubin, Ruth Marcus etc. why are their voices amplified, why is their Leftist viewpoint so prevalent in the news media? Why are they “on ‘the Right'”? Whay are “Conservative” Jews a “minority”? While you’re at check out Obama’s/Clinton’s appointees/minions/bureaucrats like Lois Lerner, John Koskinen, Lisa Page (yeah I checked out her mom, the Liberal NYC yenta, what a mouth on HER), “Evelyn Farkas” etc. One thing both groups have in common is that they’re true Marxists/Leninists/Trotskyites in every way (politics/faith/culture).

It does make me wonder.for some whose ancestors suffered subjugation, misery, tyranny, pogroms, and near extermination (multiple times throughout history) why the hell do THEY want to copy it and visit it upon us? One thing I’ve learned living in the NY/NJ Metro Area and being exposed to that particular community is that these people (like some Moslems) hate Israel and they hate us, there is no getting around THAT no matter how hard you try, they want to exterminate us, what’s worse is they make up 90% of that faith (THAT is a problem their “Social Justice”-based faith must solve itself for if non-Jews tried we would be labelled as you so quickly did with me “anti-semitic”). As for the “social justice” agenda spend some time watching JBS or the talks on public TV like “92nd Street Y”, it’s rife with it especially on the panel talk shows, maybe read the Bible or watch the movie “Sodom & Gommorah” with Stewart Granger and Pier Angeli to see how they tried to force their societal beliefs (social justice) on others and how they undermined a community (admittedly a “decadent” one) that welcomed them and gave them safe haven.

We only see this with one other faith, “Islam”, and it IS troubling to say the least. The worst part is these totalitarian’s voices are being amplified, their political persuasion dominates the news media and THAT should be a cause for concern among everybody who loves freedom. Today they are at it again, calling for disarmament, and make no mistake their calls for “banning” AR15’s is just the first step. For so many of one faith to be the prevalent voices should concern everyone including members of their own community, the same community that has suffered so much throughout history. They say “Never Forget”, they haven’t, they’ve learned the lessons of Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, Amin, and countless others and are using those same practices with the addition of “lawfare” against us so we MUST remain vigilant and prepared to fight back as they like to say “By ANY Means Necessary”.

I’m continually astonished at the PATIENCE of Pres. Trump. He could have pulled the trigger long ago, but every day it seems that he’s just squeezing the vise tighter and tighter. When the time comes, he is going to rain down fire on the Obama administration like we’ve never seen. Oh, it’s coming. You don’t prepare like this for nothing.

What I do see happening with this slow release of information is that Trump is conditioning the public to accept what is about to happen. We’re finally getting to the point where all but the most thick-headed liberals are starting to understand that it’s going to be Democrats going to prison, not Trump. You see that in the way they are getting quiet. They’re getting depressed — getting the bad feeling that they’re about to be disappointed in their heroes. But the good news is that they seem to be accepting that it’s real. That their heroes did really bad things. That’s super important because the entire country — liberals as well as conservatives — needs to accept that what has happened was real — that it wasn’t just made up like the Trump/Russia fabrication.

That’s why this is taking so long. Patience. What is happening is a one-way ratchet. Every day things get just a little worse for the Democrats, never better. Click. Click. Click.

So one thing that has been particularly interesting to me is the absolute radio silence on CNN.com recently concerning the Russian Collusion Narrative. I noticed this fairly recently, like starting 4 or 5 days ago. I point out CNN.com in particular because that site has always been good for an entire top-page column of Mueller/Russia/Memo/Collusion/Flynn/Nunes/Obstruction talk. Like a solid 4 or 5 articles on any given day. OK, today doesn’t really count due to sad events in FL, but it seems since the cool down on the Dem memo, there has been virtually no collusion-related article at the top.

Of course, CNN will have inside sources who have kept them in the loop as to what is happening now and will happen in the near future. Schiff, for example, knows the full scale, and he’s more or less an unpaid Senior CNN Political Contributor. Second, they have already known for some time what they know now, so they need to dissociate/rehabilitate their own contribution to this whole fiasco. They may be directly implicated with the Fusion connection to Evan Perez, for example.

Probably the only thing they will have left, post Horowitz, will be: a.) omission bias (has a lot of practice here), b.) trying to discredit Horowitz in some way or another, cuz they’ll need some proxy defense to protect Obama (and less so the Clinton cabal), c.) continued harping on the partisan nature of the whole spectacle (an easy, if not lazy, target). They may just quietly let go of the Mueller/Obstruction narrative once it is undeniable that the whole episode is a sham. Let’s face it, the potential political disaster of all of this is much bigger than some stupid Special Counsel probe (which they can still off-handedly and conveniently refer to as having been politically subverted, BTW).

Trump himself or his actions, in any form or capacity, will always be good for business. But the Collusion Narrative needs to be unwound, and the suits, producers, and prime time faces all know it.

Anyway, just a recent observation. Maybe I’m wrong.

If you haven’t seen this article by Andrew McCarthy at National Review on Gen. Flynn. Good read: http://www.nationalreview.com/article/456379/michael-flynn-guilty-plea-questions-raised-about-fbi-robert-mueller-investigation

I pray your correct, Sundance. It makes perfect sense that you flip the bottom feeder’s ( STRZOK & Page). They give you McCabe. Then Priestsap flips & gives you McCabe, Commiey & maybe Baker. Baker flip gives you Obungo. IF Commiey & McCabe do a deal…good-bye OBUNGO & Hilery et al.

I hate to turn this into another Sessions Whitehat vs. Blackhat thread; however, Sundance’s supposition potentially puts Sessions, Wray and possibly Rosenstein into a new light. If the IG has 5 key players cooperating, Sessions best move is to keep quiet and wait while Horowitz nails everyone’s feet firmly to the floor. Furthermore, we know that Sessions *hates* leaks and that the IG can operate best without them. Information shared with Congress is likely to be leaked. It is quite possible that Sessions has restricted DOJ and FBI information flow to Congress because:

      1) Sessions knows that the IG is doing is job extremely well
      2) Information leakage would only jeopardize the IG investigation
      3) All of the requested information and more will be published in the IG report

Lastly, by remaining quiet this entire time, while enduring all the heat for not acting prematurely, Sessions maintains some appearance of impartiality.
