Horsepucky, Narratives, Political Suppositions and The ATOMIC HAMMER OF TRUTH: Occam’s Razor

As most readers are aware the current wagon-circling Clinton defense strategy (to avoid the toxic legal ebola present through the Christopher Steele dossier contagion) is to claim Team Clinton was duped by a Russian disinformation campaign.

This approach attempts to create distance between: Clinton and Fusion-GPS; the intensely false political intelligence assertions within the Steele Dossier; the DOJ/FBI using the dossier as underlying evidence to gain FISA approval; and the outcome of the FBI spying operation on the Trump campaign in 2016.

Unfortunately for them, as we have pointed out, Hillary Clinton -writ large- cannot say they were duped by an intelligence dossier they created themselves.  This is their “dossier problem‘.   However, that said, here’s the New York Times trying to assist that “hoodwinked” narrative though the use of the false Michael Cohen story. WATCH:

The ‘hoodwinked’ angle is horsepucky.  The use of that defense is the ‘narrative’.  The claim the Michael Cohen story was planted by Russians inside the Steele Dossier is fabricated ‘political supposition‘…..

….But are you prepared for the ATOMIC HAMMER OF TRUTH?

Here’s the Occam’s Razor behind the false travel story of candidate Donald Trump’s lawyer,  Michael Cohen, and how the flaw ended up in the Steele Dossier.

This is how research shows the simplest explanation is the most likely.  All of the points that lead to the simple explanation are generally well known truths.

♦We know the Steele Dossier contains content that was not exclusive to Christopher Steele.  ♦We know Fusion GPS held proprietary ownership of the Steele Dossier content. ♦We reasonably know that Nellie Ohr provided much of the research for the dossier content. ♦We know that FBI contractors, perhaps Fusion entities, used unlawful FBI FISA-702 searches to gain information that was passed on to Fusion-GPS and Nellie Ohr etc.  ♦We also know the story of Michael Cohen traveling to Prague is inside the Steele Dossier; and we know the story is false – It was the wrong Michael Cohen.

Occams Razor:  One of the dubious FBI FISA-702 search subjects was Michael Cohen; and that turned up a “raw data” result for a Michael Cohen traveling to Prague.

That’s how a false Michael Cohen story got into the dossier.

A FISA-702 raw data search gave a return on Michael Cohen, the wrong “Michael Cohen”. That raw data was given to Fusion-GPS who put that inaccurate raw data into the compiled opposition research dossier.   That’s how it got in there.

See how that happened?

The conspiring crew ran DOJ/FBI FISA-702 searches on “Michael Cohen Travel”, and simply got the wrong guy.

Amid complex stories, the simplest explanation is almost always the most accurate.

Unfortunately for the scheme team, this *mistake* puts another connection between: •the unlawful use of the DOJ/FBI FISA search access; •the people who gained custody of that raw data; •and how false information was used in the finished document, the Steele Dossier.

This is NOW tangible evidence to connect the scheme.

And now you know why Michael Cohen is suing Fusion-GPS and Buzzfeed.  His lawsuit will force Fusion to outline where they got the fraudulent information.  Within the discovery Cohen knows he’ll find the unlawful FISA-702 search story.

Sucks to be the conspiracy crew.

Hi Glenn, Jim, Mary, Nellie, Peter and Bill !

And specifically because this encompasses the politicization of the DOJ and FBI, the political use of FISA-702 searches also falls under the ongoing review of Inspector General Michael Horowitz.  Actually, it’s the top two priorities in the “Ongoing Work” section of the OIG.

Remember, NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers already testified to the House Judiciary Committee that he retained all of the Audit Logs for the unlawful 2016 FISA search inquires of U.S. citizens.   IG Horowitz and House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes now have a valid paper trail to follow.

Put the FISA-702 Search Query result of “Michael Cohen Prague” together with the false story surfacing in the Steele Dossier….. and Voilá !!  Easy peasy.

Relax and enjoy this upcoming week.

You’re worth it….

IG Stimulated Releases of Information:

♦Release #1 was the FBI Agent Strzok and Attorney Lisa Page story; and the repercussions from discovering their politically motivated bias in the 2015/2016 Clinton email investigation and 2016/2017 Russian Election investigation.

♦Release #2 outlined the depth of FBI Agent Strzok and FBI Attorney Page’s specific history in the 2016 investigation into Hillary Clinton to include the changing of the wording [“grossly negligent” to “extremely careless”] of the probe outcome delivered by FBI Director James Comey.

♦Release #3 was the information about DOJ Deputy Bruce Ohr being in contact with Fusion GPS at the same time as the FISA application was submitted and granted by the FISA court; which authorized surveillance and wiretapping of candidate Donald Trump; that release also attached Bruce Ohr and Agent Strzok directly to the Steele Dossier.

♦Release #4 was information that Deputy Bruce Ohr’s wife, Nellie Ohr, was an actual contract employee of Fusion GPS, and was hired by F-GPS specifically to work on opposition research against candidate Donald Trump. Both Bruce Ohr and Nellie Ohr are attached to the origin of the Christopher Steele Russian Dossier.

♦Release #5 was the specific communication between FBI Agent Strzok and FBI Attorney Page. The 10,000 text messages that included evidence of them both meeting with Asst. FBI Director Andrew McCabe to discuss the “insurance policy” against candidate Donald Trump in August of 2016.

While fatally discredited in the legal sense Mueller will continue because politically he’s untouchable. Trump’s lawyers reportedly expected that Mueller would be done by now are obviously clueless regarding witch hunts.

In the larger sense we have left the protection of a constitutional system of laws and are at the mercy to the whims of out of control social forces.

No matter how compromised Mueller is he will go forth because it’s the only weapon the left has that has a chance of affecting president Trump. Every emotional and political hope the left has is wrapped up in the SC’s continuation as a moral weapon against the greater MAGA movement.

1] Mueller is making big money for himself at $$$$ per hour. Why quit now?

2] Mueller is a patriot running this investigation which always has been a disguised counter-intelligence investigation into intel community corruption, illegal searches, and uses of private contractors around the RussiaGate matter. Mueller’s appointment of the FBI and DOJ conspirators to his own investigation was a clever trap–certainly they would continue more obstruction of justice and this time it would be under the watchful eye of Mueller! Every lie they tell Mueller will be a lie to a federal officer!

3] Something like 2] but Mueller was coerced into playing this role and the Special investigation did not start as a counter-intelligence investigation. It became later a CI investigation and Comey was coerced into leading it still because he was the prime witness his own investigation is at center an obstruction of justice.

Don’t overlook the possibility that Crowdstrike may have been a key player in this corrupt process.

TheYoungTurks disclosed that Crowdstrike was under contract with the FBI from June 2015 to July 2016, The substance of that contract has never been reported, but that would coincide with the start of the HRC server investigation (perhaps to analyze HRC’s server for hacking?).

When the DNC emails were hacked, this same firm was hired by the DNC to examine its server, whereupon it pronounced definitively that it was the Russians, a conclusion endorsed “by all 17 intelligence agencies,” without any of them examining the server in question. This conclusion was thoroughly debunked by Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, based on forensic evidence, in July 2017, on Consortium News.

Like Fusion GPS, Crowdstrike had both the DNC and the FBI as clients simultaneously.

Plus, over a couple days last week, the New York Times gave the Fusion founders their op-ed page to defend themselves, and Dmetri Alperovitch of Crowdstrike got airtime on PBS NewsHour, presented as a friendly expert on how we can protect ourselves from hackers. Just a coincidence? Or a well-managed effort to bolster public opinion in favor of the co-conspirators?

All questions and speculation at this point, but worth keeping in mind as you unravel more of what is being disclosed.

        transcript – Hillary Clinton –

“This was research started by a Republican donor during the Republican primary. And then when Trump got the nomination for the Republican party, the people doing it came to my campaign lawyer and said, you know, ‘would you like us to continue it?’ and he said, yes. He’s an experienced lawyer. He knows what the law is. HE [MARC ELIAS] KNOWS WHAT OPPOSITION RESEARCH IS.

And, you know, from my perspective, it[the dossier] didn’t come out before the election, as we all know. And what also didn’t come out — which I think is an even bigger problem as I write in the book — is that the American people didn’t even know that the FBI WAS INVESTIGATING the TRUMP campaign BECAUSE OF CONNECTIONS WITH RUSSIA STARTING in the SUMMER of 2016.

So I know that voters should have had that information. That’s something that may have influenced some people. And it’s part of what happens in a campaign where you get information that may or may not be useful, and YOU TRY TO MAKE SURE ANYTHING YOU PUT OUT IN THE PUBLIC ARENA IS ACCURATE. And so this thing didn’t come out until after the election and ITS STILL BEING EVALUATED.

Hillary doesn’t want to talk about the dossier, she wants to talk about that ‘other’ FBI investigation, you know the one……the investigation into Trump that the media suppressed, the investigation that didn’t rely on the Fusion PeePee Dossier in tandem with Crowdstrikes “CozyBear” cyber report to give authority for the weaponization of the CIA, FBI & DOJ…

Alfa wants U.S. authorities to help unmask a computer inside the United States that it believes has been used to launch cyberattacks spoofing the appearance of a backdoor communication channel between Moscow and America’s 45th president, according to a source directly familiar with the bank’s request.
The source said the spoofing attempt is equivalent to someone in the U.S. sending an empty envelope to the Trump Towers but putting on the envelope a return address in Russia, causing the Trump server to falsely return the communication back to Moscow.

The source cautioned it does not yet have evidence that the same activity occurred between last May through September, causing the generation of the first server pings that computer scientists reported last fall might be evidence of secret communications between Trump and Russia.

      • That’s called an “ack attack”, where the computer is enticed into trusting a response (ACKnowledgement) to a query IT DID NOT SEND. If Trumps IT team is at least middling competent, that should never succeed.

The router should compare the incoming ACK with the outgoing Queries and if there is no match, log the attempt and drop the connection. After a preset number of attempts an explicit alarm should be sounded to bring what has now become an ack attack to the administrators who should start fighting it immediately.

In summary, I find it very hard to believe that this is an ack attack but is, instead, a man in the middle attack where another computer is intercepting the conversation and pretending to be the Trump machine … a somewhat more technically advanced attack.

  17. Never Say Anything says:

If the Russian disinformation theory is horse puckey, why was GCHQ listening in on the Trump campaign in late *2015*? Why would they be singling out Trump all the way back then when there were 3 or 4 people still in the race on the Republican side? Trump wasn’t officially named the nominee until early May of 2016.

So in order to discount this little inconvenient fact, you have to believe one of the following:

    1) GCHQ decided to single out Trump in 2015 for no good reason. They just hated him and wanted to spy for the lolz.

    2) GCHQ and/or the American IC was spying on all the Republican candidates in 2015. There has been no evidence presented publicly that this happened, but if it did this scandal is even larger than imagined. (I’m not discounting it entirely, just saying we have no proof and likely never will since GCHQ will never answer questions. The only way we’ll find out is if there is evidence left behind of information exchanges inside our IC).

    3) The reporting that the Guardian and CNN did on the GCHQ story is fake news. It was disinformation planted by Obama insiders to retroactively cover-up their crimes (Look, guys, GCHQ started this all the way back in 2015. We were just following up on leads they gave us!). This seems doubtful because the Guardian reporters spoke with UK intelligence officials (are they in on the cover-up too?)

Now, it must be said that the FISA statute explicitly forbids the use of foreign intelligence agencies to spy on Americans. So if it can be proven that Obama and his team instructed GCHQ to monitor an American, then they are in legal jeopardy. But from the reports I’ve seen, GCHQ wasn’t spying on Trump, they were spying on Russians who were caught talking to Trump’s team or were caught talking *among themselves* about Trump’s team.

Don’t believe me? Well, would you believe Devin Nunes? Nunes said himself last year (during his famous trip to the Eisenhower SCIF) that all the intelligence he saw was collected legally. It concerned him that Trump’s people were being spied on “incidentally”, but there was nothing illegal about what he saw. Now, how can they spy on Trump legally without a FISA warrant? Because they weren’t targeting Trump or his team, they were monitoring foreign actors who were caught either talking to Trump’s team *or* were caught talking *among themselves* about Trump. Under section 702, this is perfectly legal and happens every day as long as minimization procedures are followed (masking names). The difference is that it doesn’t leak most of the time.

However, “reverse targeting” is illegal. You can’t specifically pick out an innocent foreign actor knowing he talks to an American in order to spy on the real target (the American). This is forbidden under FISA. But, it doesn’t appear this is what happened. The people Trump’s team were talking to were *already* under surveillance, likely for years before the election even happened. GCHQ caught it in their normal course of operations and told the U.S.

Therefore, the question in this fiasco isn’t 702 and incidental collection (it’s legal whether we like it or not). The questions that need to be answered are:

    1) Was the dossier (which is phony) used to obtain FISA warrants that allowed them to *target* Americans? If so, people might be going to jail.

    2) Was the FBI giving classified information to Fusion (or Hillary’s campaign) in order to damage Trump? Right now it looks pretty suspicious.

    3) Were all the 702 unmasking requests legit? The collection itself seems to be legit, but you have to provide a good reason to unmask the names. We know Trump’s people were unmasked *hundreds* of times during 2016. All of those requests need to be reviewed.

    4) The leakers. We need to know who was leaking during the transition and after Trump was in office (Mike Flynn transcript, Mexican phone call, Australian phone call, etc.) Someone on the inside was obviously trying to damage Trump, not caring one iota about the damage they were doing to U.S. national security. Perp walk those mofos.

    5) What prompted the FBI investigation in the first place? The 702 collection or something more nefarious like the dossier?

With all of this in mind, it looks extremely likely to me that this whole thing was a Russian operation to sew doubt and chaos in the election. They hacked Hillary and the DNC to spread dirt on her (and then tried to make Trump look complicit). They tried to approach Trump’s team to entrap them (later Fusion tried to help them). They talked among themselves on open phone lines about blackmailing Trump (this is how GCHQ got involved in the first place). When Chris Steele came snooping around, they fed him ridiculous golden showers stories, etc. If they really wanted to “own” Trump, they would never be so careless and out in the open about it. They know phones are monitored and people are listening, but there they were talking about it with every western intelligence service listening.

The whole thing was a setup by the Russians and they *wanted* to get caught. Why? Because look what happened – the MSM and the Dems have gone completely crazy. Half of the world thinks Trump is a Russian agent, which has hurt our relationship with our allies. If you wanted to concoct a plan to sew doubt and distrust in American politics, you couldn’t have concocted a better one.

I know what 90% of you will say: “You idiot, this was all Hillary’s plan all along. It was nothing but a setup from the DNC and Fusion. Russia had nothing to do with it!” OK, if Hillary wanted to concoct a lie, why make it about Russia? Why not claim Trump was a child molester or a thief or an organized crime figure in Vegas? Why Russia of all possible “scandals” to invent?

I have no doubt Hillary and Fusion jumped on the “Russian bandwagon” later on for their own purposes. Fusion tried to entrap Don, Jr. in Trump Tower and smear him with the dossier. That’s all true. But it makes no sense why Russia of all possible scandals. It had to come from somewhere, and I propose that it came from the Russians themselves who were purposely misleading them.

Yup. The dis-information all follows from:
“… Nunes said himself last year (during his famous trip to the Eisenhower SCIF) that all the intelligence he saw was collected legally. It concerned him that Trump’s people were being spied on “incidentally”, but there was nothing illegal about what he saw….”

Except that is NOT what Nunes said!

Nunes said it HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA‼️
AND then Nunes authored an amendment to law Obama abused:

One of these threads has the actual video with Nunes statements after coming out of the SCIF.

          • G. Combs says:

Yes Muh Russia was the Boogey man. However Never Say Anything is trying to say Nunes said the spying on President Trump was LAWFUL WHEN IT WASN’T!

Nunes even makes the point that the spying he saw had NOTHING to do with Russia.

“… Significantly, the 702 program cannot be used to target any U.S. person or any person located in the U.S., whether that person is an American or a foreigner. The government is also prohibited from “reverse targeting” under 702—that is, the government cannot target a non-U.S. person outside the U.S. when the real interest is to collect the communications of a person in the U.S. or of any U.S. person, regardless of location….”

Title III requires Federal, state and, other government officials to obtain judicial authorization for intercepting “wire, oral, and electronic” communications such as telephone conversations and e-mails. It also regulates the use and disclosure of information obtained through authorized wiretapping. 18 U.S.C. §§ 2516-18.
An exception to the requirement that government obtain a warrant before intercepting covered communications is provided where:

⚫️ any investigative or law enforcement officer, specially designated by the Attorney General, the Deputy Attorney General, the Associate Attorney General, or by the principal prosecuting attorney of any State or subdivision thereof acting pursuant to a statute of that State…

⚫️ reasonably determines that an emergency situation exists that involves
            1. immediate danger of death or serious physical injury to any person,
            2. conspiratorial activities threatening the national security interest, or
            3. conspiratorial activities characteristic of organized crime
that requires a wire, oral, or electronic communication to be intercepted before an order authorizing such interception can, with due diligence, be obtained, and
there are grounds upon which an order could be entered under this chapter to authorize such interception.”

In such an emergency situation, the Federal government may begin intercepting communications, provided “an application for an order approving the interception is made in accordance with this section within forty-eight hours after the interception has occurred, or begins to occur.” In this situation, if the warrant is ultimately denied, the intercepted communications are treated as having been obtained in violation of Title III. 18 U.S.C. § 2518(7).

One reason to use Russia is pretty simple. We know that if anyone “colluded” with Russia, it was the Clintons (see: Uranium One). Trump alluded to it. Standard operating procedure for leftists is to accuse your opponent of doing what you.have done or are doing. It muddies the water splendidly and is especially easy to do when people in the DOJ and FBI are eager to help you.

To Never Say Anything: You said that, “Half of the world thinks Trump is a Russian agent, which has hurt our relationship with our allies.”
I have no comment on your theory of actual Russian interference in our elections, but I do take issue with your comment above. Exactly which allies’ relationship has been endangered? If by “allies” you mean the western half of the EU, I submit to you that the damage to our relationship stems from a philosophical difference in governance between us and, say, France, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Holland. What do they all have in common? These are socialist countries with globalist perspectives of open borders and a centralized, bureaucratic mentality more akin to Command & Control.

Under President Trump we have stepped back from joining the western European perspective of governance, so they hate him along with his supporters. The actual blow that split our relationship apart was our withdrawing from the so-called Paris Climate Treaty, not “Russian interference”, as you stated. Still, in looking over the last 12 months of Trump’s presidency what I see is clarity in foreign policy, from renewed strength with our allies in the Pacific Basin and a stronger relationship with the eastern European countries, to a results-oriented policy that has virtually destroyed ISIS; created an anti-terrorist pan-Arab alliance where none existed “ante-Trump”‘, jump-started the Palestinian issue along a more realistic track through the Jerusalem-Embassy decision, and put North Korea and Iran on the defensive.

The point is, who cares what our western European “allies” think! They really were never our friends to begin with. They are competitors who use international treaties, standards and organizations to hamstring us in every way possible. The best examples of this were their “No” vote at the UN General Assembly on our moving the embassy to Jerusalem and their veiled threats if Pres. Trump de-certified the so-called nuclear deal with Iran. Paraphrasing Henry Morgenthau, countries have interests, not friends.

We already know why. Both Singer and FPGS have confirmed this….

“So if it can be proven that Obama and his team instructed GCHQ to monitor an American, then they are in legal jeopardy.”

      • I agree. I believe the IC has long held a policy of purposely allowing information to be “hacked” by allied intelligence so that they can then look at it by spying in return on the allied intelligence. It’s a way to circumvent spying on Americans directly, since you’re just spying on spies who happen to have information on Americans. Just a theory, but it seems plausible to me.

Fusion GPS had a project going on Trump back in 2015, why not GCHQ? Glenn Simpson was a journalist who had specialized in reporting on Russia for years. BTW, what’s interesting to me from Glenn Simpon’s testimony is that Mr. Steele was not the only subcontractor that Fusion GPS engaged, nor was he the only researcher.

I have had problems with the ‘Superspy’ discription attached to Christopher Steele. Since when are superspies so well known? What I found on Steele was that he was hired out of college, spent two years in USSR Russia as a ‘traveler’, and then worked in Paris. We are talking a guy in his 20’s and early 30’s. He was outed as a spy back at the turn of the century. So much for his desk job and he got a tour of duty in Afghanistan assisting special forces missions – fighting the Taliban. Super Russian spy? Doesn’t sound like James Bond to me. In 2009, he opened his own private ‘intelligence’ company. From spy to capitalist – hussler for a paycheck. He is the guy who deemed that Alexander Litvinenko was killed by the FSB by poisoning him with plutonium. That story to me merited and still merits great skepticism. Why would the FSB use plutonium? It is not exactly cheap (as in worth millions of dollars) as compared to other poisons, plus using it puts the assassin at great risk of personal contamination and death. More noteably though, it is not the FSB’s style. Most likely Litvinenko was attempting to sell the stuff on the black market and did himself in. If ‘Russians’ provided info for that dossier, more likely they would have been husslers like Steele and Simpson trying to make some money and not insiders of the FSB or Kremlin.

The FISA warrant approved in October 2016 was based not just on the dossier but on the supposed ALFAbank/ Trump email server communications as well. This server was registered right after the first FISA warrant was denied. And, more importantly, the DNS logs adduced for those communications are provably fraudulent. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT AND ALMOST TOTALLY OVERLOOKED ASPECT of SurveillanceGate (or whatever we’re calling it); it encompasses definite crimes and proves bad faith. It’s not a matter of being duped by the Russians. This aspect hasn’t gotten the traction it deserves. L. Jean Camp is at the center of this along with “TEA LEAVES.” Who is TEA LEAVES? There is good evidence it is April Lorenzen (although some have suggested it is Timothy Kelley, a collegue of Camp’s).
