Trial Balloon – Sara Carter and Dan Bongino Discuss The Steele Dossier and The DOJ/FBI FISA Abuse…

Dan Bongino does a great job in this interview. Sara Carter, plays the role of controlled opposition.  Carter shiftily helps Hillary Clinton deal with her “Dossier Problem“.

Unfortunately, but not unpredictably, Sara Carter begins deploying deep state ‘countermeasures’ from her ‘sources’ that are telling her Fusion GPS, Christopher Steele and Hillary Clinton was hoodwinked by a comprehensive Russian disinformation campaign; carried out by professional Russian intelligence agents; who duped the Clinton Campaign into THINKING Trump was a proxy political agent of Russia.

Ergo,… the ever patriotic Clinton campaign had no other option, except to do their civic  duty, and inform the FBI of the Russian claims… and that led to the entire FBI operation investigating candidate Donald Trump.   Thankfully, Donald Trump wasn’t a Russian spy.

Well, there’s the trial balloon narrative from those at risk within the Deep State Clinton group, and there’s Sara Carter testing it out for them:

Why does the DOJ leak to Sara Carter?  Remember the text messages leak?

Do you think it’s possible that there will be “conservative” news voices on the list of media paid by Fusion? Could she be on the list?

I see no reason to jump to there.
First of all it is great to know the Clinton – Obama line of defense if they are nailed to the false nature of the entire Russian story.

From that knowledge I think it entirely likely that in the known facts and the soon to be known facts, that defense can be shown to be false. Hell, we already have Comey admitting its false nature.
AFAICT we have zero evidence of the claimed extraneous supporting the fake dossier information, only vague and retracted hints ( the inside source FGPS claimed them retracted) or equally vague other references.
We also have overwhelming evidence of bias in the FBI investigation.

Agreed that there is no need to jump to any kind of character assassination defense (in my opinion that’s NEVER, actually). And you’re right that this is a losing defense already.
Good grief – this narrative looks dead in the water before it even rolls out, although Feinstein has done her commie best to help sell it.

          **************************

But still – Sara Carter is an interesting question. Here’s why.

(Completely separate tangent, but which explains my cryptic response above for those who want to know WHY I think this is an interesting question.)

Definitely the question of disinformation being fed to the “conservative” press (cut my cable, no longer a fool about them, just for the record) is a 3-steps-down-the-road idea, prompted in part by prior connections of the Jebbusites to Fusion, and it is largely disconnected to the whole question of any intrinsic validity of the dossier, which I think is horrendously bad for all the reasons you stated and more. They are NOT squirming out on this. They are selling a new coordination of lies, and a more palatable self-deception to their troglodytes with this defense, if you ask me. But it CANNOT work. It just delays things at best, and hopefully Trump makes it backfire badly, as he always does.

HOWEVER, I think the FEEDING of information to conservatives by a somewhat “faux conservative” entity (WSJ-connected, OH REALLY?) Fusion GPS is an extremely interesting question in its own right. As I am becoming more and more a hound-dog for distribution of disinformation, I’m very certain there will be interesting whiffs coming from the carcass of Fusion GPS. It has BEEN PLACES.

In fact, I think Fusion GPS got its life-supporting flow of cash (and cut its own throat, in typical out-source mega-fail) by declaring it could handle “whatever” at the agreed price, when it absolutely could not. Thus, it appears to have been a massive fail in all directions – information in, information out, and just plain analysis of information, which was ALLEGEDLY their forte. Good grief – it looks like they were FAKING IT massively. And I would not doubt that people KNEW IT and TOOK ADVANTAGE of it.

I have seen this time and time again in the tech sector, where the fastest-talking earnest-looking guy who says “yes” to everything becomes point man, and the people who know real capabilities are kept muzzled.

That does not mean the commies and particularly the EMBEDS in Washington didn’t take huge advantage of that. NO. Taking advantage of weakness is their specialty. I believe the entire paradigm of shifting business to shady, weak, and abusable contractors has been a commie program pushed very hard through dupey globalists and trendy, PC, image-driven corporate boards. Why the IC ever did it – well – money wins a lot of arguments, because even idiots understand idiot numbers. But the commie embeds win even more because THEIR face is not the one selling the ideas.

The rotten globalists did not push us into that corner for nothing.

Slandering Sara Carter NOW like we KNOW anything about her motives is thus not on the menu, but after the long list of UniParty Faux-Right operatives like Liz Mair, Amanda Carter and S.E. Cupp, who are always stronger under the studio lights than under the invisible glare of Treehouse-level investigation, I think it’s a fair question to wonder if Carter is – at a minimum – simply not weeding out agenda sources from UniParty Deep State Right. They are ALWAYS looking for people to carry their water, and anybody who loves explosive revelations is a PRIME target for narrative deployment.

So if Carter is passing on JUNK now, she may have easily passed on JUNK earlier.

I know I took a long route getting to that simple statement, but it is very important to put Fusion GPS in the proper perspective. In commie-land, EVERYBODY is a dupe. We will see this time and time again as we unravel the scandal. Dupes, as they are exposed, need to NOT cover up, but rather shift blame where it goes and PUBLISH who were their bad agenda sources (Cernovich? Are you reading this?), even “anonymously” (as in WHERE THEY ARE FROM). THAT will unmask things faster than shutting up, which is what all the bad guys know will protect them.

There is a sizable level of animosity here for Solomon, Carter and Hannity. The argument is, their sources are wrong, they wear Black Hats, Fox News pays them, etc. To what benefit does entertaining their comments and reporting here lead? If we don’t agree with them and hold them out as suspicious, why are we listening to them, for crying out loud?

Obviously, sundance’s sources and research are indisputable, based 100% in fact. Others are also researching and working on these stories and because the corruption is so deep, so embedded and intertwined across the spectrum of our govt, possibly foreign gov’ts too, there’s a mountain of evidence to sift. Listen to your conscience, believe what makes sense. Trust President Trump. Don’t waste time on anything less–the Black Hats want us distracted, don’t they?

Stay focused on info you trust, post it on your social media and share by email, and especially forward all the articles here to AG Sessions–unless he acts on any of this, it goes nowhere. Maybe sundance and/or his sources should request a meeting with Sessions? With Hannity? Educate him on what’s true and get him on Team Treehouse so info here gets spoken on national, radio and TV 5 days a week?

We’re gonna have to come to terms that we’re served a huge, carefully prepared banquet of info here that takes a considerable amount of time to digest, but a huge number of Americans are fast food fanatics. Busy people consume small amounts of news on the run. They eat drive-through burgers on their way to soccer practice and before going to the mall. They aren’t going to devote an hour of their day, every day, studying these stories. They grab a few headlines from online sources on their phones while commuting and listen with one ear to the first 10 minutes of a cable news show. It’s why our nation is in a fog of ignorance. If we could figure out how to bring the right info to the right people and all be on the same team on something this crucial…

Hannity and his sources can’t indict or prosecute. If we don’t like what we hear on his programming, don’t listen–spend energy instead disseminating info from here. If you believe everybody at Fox and on talk radio are shills for Hillary, don’t listen, it’s that simple.

Given the corrupted state of our media, there is a full blown war against getting the truth exposed. We can help in that effort. We can’t control what is put out by unknown numbers of unknown sources but we can share what we believe as truth and not waste time on that which we don’t believe.

Exactly, moray! Why do people complain when we use the opposition news to point out what the enemy is doing? And by the way, nowhere do I see SD lambasting Hannity; however, Sundance does seem to be questioning Hannity’s sources, who certainly APPEAR to be leading Hannity (and, hence, his viewers) to specific “controlled” conclusions. After all, when someone like Carter is OBVIOUSLY defending Hillary and Co., what else can you conclude except that she’s working (knowingly or unknowingly) for the enemy?

If we were swallowing all this media BS, such complaints would be reasonable, but HELLO! That’s not what’s going on here.

Tony, sometimes I need that huge billboard to outline it all. A movie would be great, but there are too many black hats and too few white hats.

It would take a movie many hours long to include all the characters. A movie with a small segment would be helpful. I would insist on being cast in the background scratching my head.

For now, I have only a good framework to work with, but I’ve not taken notes; it’s all in my head. I wish I had more time to study. Sometimes I think that I must have a weak mind; and maybe I do.

So, there are “no deals” and there is “no escape”. There has been “Treason” at the “Highest Levels”, which means Hussein and Clinton.

There are “foreign agents” within our government. I take that also to mean Hussein and Clinton, among others. If they have acted on behalf of other nations, they are ‘foreign agents’.

      The hunt continues.

      “PRISON” and “DEATH” are self-explanatory.

I suppose this is also called robbery.
Seth Rich reported that info to the FBI. The FBI in turn called the Clinton state department. Hillary answered :We will take care of this issue’ and ordered a blackout on Seth’s attempt to snitch on her.
Seth on the night of his murder thought that he was meeting with two FBI agents at the bar to talk about his next day testimony against Clinton. In reality these two men he met at the bar were the hitmen sent by Hillary et al. The rest is history, Seth Rich was murdered.

The same group of individuals/news network was pushing hard the U-1 story a month ago, which Carter repeatedly asserted Sessions did not recuse himself, and her assertion was soon confirmed by Sessions that DOJ reopened inquiry into the U-1 matter late last month.

And the U-1 story line appears to implicate Rosenstein and Mueller both being conflicted in the Mueller’s muh Russia investigation.

How confusing. Someone continues to play 3D chess.

Keep this in mind when you play the videos and watch the broadcasts on cable.
The same story with Russians as bad guys behind the whole thing is mandatory ideology. You must believe that crap as a starting point. They have fed it for two years.

Remember this: they will never let up and allow normal relations between US and RF, nor DJT and Putin to have normal talks and meetings.

There immediate attempts at their Hybrid War against Russia is to disturb the elections there in March. Putin will win easily and very big. Then the US wants to ruin the World Cup in June-July held in several Russian cities where Putin has built $12 Billion of facilities.

After that, it is highly likely the collapse of Ukraine will proceed with war in Donbass.
For all these reasons, the Russophobia and hatred will just build and build.
What greater projection can there be than to blame the Russians for the attempted coup by Obama-Comey-Mueller and gang? It has to begin in the Kremlin to exonerate these traitors.

“Russophobia” — where did I hear this before? “Putin will win the elections” — is it even possible, especially “easy and big”? /s. World Cup, Putin’s facilities… Hybrid war against Russia? — what about Russia’s “hybrid war” against Ukraine? “They don’t do hookers pissing…” — they do hookers. Remember Ilia Yashin, the “Moo-Moo” story? I bet you do. “Specialists,” ha. “Elite of the élite” — more like bandits that they always have been:
“…Arms trafficking, money laundering, personal enrichment, protection for gangsters, extortion and kickbacks, suitcases full of money and secret offshore bank accounts in Cyprus: the cables paint a bleak picture of a political system in which bribery alone totals an estimated $300bn a year, and in which it is often hard to distinguish between the activities of the government and organised crime.” — https://www.theguardian.com/world/2010/dec/01/wikileaks-cables-russia-mafia-kleptocracy

And I should add that the salacious style of the “dossier” is recognizably Russian, IMHO. “Collapse of Ukraine” — in your dreams. Well, you know what — are you per chance a Russian troll?

Browder was subpoenaed to produce documents and appear before a Grand Jury (pg.299 line 13) on 3/31/2014. Questioning in the deposition continues and reveals that the subpoena may have prompted a meeting at the White House on 2/12/2014 with Mr. Carpenter, and Julianna Glover.(pg. 304 line 3) (Could this be Mr. Carpenter? http://www.atlanticcouncil.org/about/experts/list/michael-carpenter )

That simply doesn’t square with what Fox News reported today. This past week, Richard Melville Hall (aka Moby, a singer who has sold more than 20 million records worldwide) stated in a radio interview that he was asked by friends in the CIA to put forth the message that Trump was being blackmailed by the Russian government and that Trump had been colluding with the Russian government “from day one.” The CIA asked Moby to use his social media profile to make these statements because he has a much larger social media following than does “the government”.

There is absolutely no reason that the CIA should ask a pop artist to put forth a message about illegal actions of a president. Either the CIA has evidence of illegal actions that require impeachment (and jail time) or they don’t have evidence of such action. There can be only one reason for pushing a story about collusion and being the subject of blackmail out using social media. That one reason is to foment public sentiment against the duly elected President.

I think Moby needs to have his ass on the witness stand and asked who was it at the CIA who asked him to publish the collusion/blackmail narrative. Was that John Brennan (maybe), or was it someone below Brennan? Moby seemed to indicate that he had multiple connections inside the CIA. Let’s start working through all those connections to find out just who was pushing this narrative. Give out plea deals to the low level flunkies to get to those higher up. I’m sure this goes all the way to the top.

Andy McCarthy is apparently OK with slandering the President about his supposed mob connections and money–laundering because of Glen Simpson’s say-so. He gushes about Simpson “..the former Wall Street Journal reporter is a superb investigative journalist”. And yet he fails to adequately point out that this is a man who runs a totally sleazy operation that destroys ordinary people’s lives with lies and propaganda for money. And that his paymasters are slime-balls and enemy nations like Russia and Venezuela.

So ultimately his schtick is that Trump doesn’t want the public to see the “classified FISA court application” because it is loaded up with stuff (BEYOND the dossier information is what he’s implying) that will implicate him and/or make him look bad. And, oh, by the way, Hillary is also a bad, sleazy person as well.

Just to show how sleazy and conflicted Simpson Fusion GPS is: he is simultaneously working for the Clinton campaign (to the tune of >$13 mil); and, he is working for pro Russian Natalia Veselnitskaya trying to overturn the Magnitsky Act.

      Obviously a conflict.

Furthermore, Simpson does not inform the Clinton campaign about the June 9 Trump Tower visit by Veselnitskaya (Simpson says he “didn’t know”, even though he met V. on both June 8 and June 10). The Clinton campaign will be pissed off, given that they paid Simpson $13+ million to research Trump/Russia connections.

Although I don’t feel too sorry for the Clintons – they employed an unethical sleaze like Simpson so they deserve to get ripped off !

I think it does demonstrate that in case of a client conflict, “patriot” Simpson defers to the interests of his Russian clients.

A reading of the entire Andy McCarthy article is in fact quite worthwhile. He praises Simpson’s journalistic ability–then tears him apart. There is nothing left of the “collusion” idea, once McCarthy is finished with it.

Remember that McCarthy is a never-Trump guy. He finds Trump morally repugnant. So when the same Simpson lays out a relationship between Trump and a sleazy Russian oligarch type (you could hardly so business in with any Russian who isn’t), and whom Trump–possibly falsely–claims not really knowing, suddenly he is again a thorough investigative journalist. McCarthy thinks this information was used in the FISA application as well as the Dossier. Hence, Trump would be in no hurry to declassify. But, again, although unsavory, the information shows no hint of “collusion.”

Toward the bottom of the article, McCarthy admits that Simpson’s assertions may, in fact, be false. Clearly he wants them to br true, but–no evidence. Nevertheless, he implies that even if false these allegations would be damaging. Unfortunately he does not address the fact that Fusion GPS has a reputation for falsehood, innuendo and the vilest sort of slander.

Ultimately, McCarthy will, I think, go where the evidence leads him. Thus far, it has led him down a path by which he is appalled.

Easy unless the government had a hold on these accounts.

I can’t decide which is the most preposterous Deep State trial balloon:

    1) Strzok and Page were just pretending to organize an FBI conspiracy of election interference against Trump to cover up their affair.

    2) Steele, Fusion GPS, Clinton and the FBI were naive but patriotic dupes that were tragically misled by sneaky Putin and his disinformation against Trump.

Note: Sara Carter may be the victim of manipulation by sources. When sources give a journalist an exclusive, there is always an ulterior motive, even if the info is correct (which in the case of Fusion et al. as “innocent” dupes of Russian disinfo – i don’t believe for a moment)

I am more interested in the timing and content of the Strzok and Page texts released in early Dec and this week.

Contrary to media reports, Acting Director McCabe was NOT informed by the OIG of the Strzok and Page texts in July.
    https://www.scribd.com/document/367204037/OIG-Letter-to-Congress-Explaining-Strzok-and-Page-Text-Messaging-Origin

The DOJ decided to release texts that showed S&P political bias, and implicated McCabe, in early Dec.

The DOJ released texts this week that showed: 1) Strzok and Page were leaking to the media 2) someone else with knowledge of the Clinton email investigation was leaking to the media (“…detailed timeline not from us”).

My speculation, the DOJ released the texts once the investigation targets knew about the texts, and there was no point in keeping them secret.

Sara Carter has done a lot of the work exposing this. It is disappointing that she might be the instrument via which they fly a fairy tale, exonerating themselves. However, think about it. Fusion may have been a contractor allowed by FBI / NSD to surveil Trump via “about” queries. They are stopped on April 18 by the NSD review. The next day, according to Lee Smith, after visiting the White House, Jacoby and her husband Glenn Simpson start to compile the Dossier, partly from their previous news stories. Steele is only hired to give it credibility. That is backed by the fact Fusion are paid at least $1 Million, and possibly more, while Steele is allegedly only paid $168,000.
Even if there is a smokescreen that people were duped by Russians, does it cover these crimes? The NSD illegally allowed access to Fusion. Surveillance occurred without proper authorisation or procedures. These abuses occurred regardless of any motive “provided” by an anonymous Russian. Further, are the sources of information illegal surveillance rather than the other way round? Can it be established that Fusion had a draft dossier before Steele’s involvement. For example, is the opposition research “conveniently” mentioned by Guccifer irrelevant, and the real stuff is an early draft of the dossier? If that can be established, the exonerating fairy tale is obviated. And think of this: is her comment potentially another sting?

    Liked by 2 people

    • Angel Martin says:

      I agree with this.

The FBI abused its access to 702 queries to take data it was never legally supposed to have, and shared it with outside contractors. If that included Fusion GPS the FBI shared illegal surveillance of Trump with the Clinton campaign.

Then, I suppose, they applied for FISA warrants to substitute for the surveillance access they lost.

I think the Strzok and Page texts will give us a good picture of how the Dossier was created and who really did it.

If the black hats really intend to offer Trump a deal at this point, they are going to have to do better than admit he is not a Putin puppet, and concede they were victims of FSB disinformation.

It is reported that the first memo in the “Steele” Dossier is within 3 days of Steele being retained by FusionGPS. (Needs link to verify.) If true, that indicates the memo was already drafted.

Or to paraphrase Ms Feldman, lots of chaff will be thrown on the wheat to hide it.

So Sara Carter is a “bad guy” now? This is all too much. Me thinks, NOTHING will happen.

The Clintons, Obama, and Jarrett (his minder) are near their sale-by-end date, if they haven’t past it already. The billionaire puppet masters like Soros prefer politicians who DON’T get caught with their hands in the cookie jar. I mean, how useful can a politico be if they CHRONICALLY claim IGNORANCE as sloppy malfeasance is exposed? That adds up and the politician looks clueless at best, a sneaky liar at worst. Not good.

The clintons have their ill-gotten money and Obama has his “legacy” or what’s left of it, along with millions from somewhere. But, their “machines” (people) must still try to fly the IGNORANCE flag on their behalf so they themselves don’t get ground up in the crimes they committed as loyal soldiers. Meanwhile, the billionare club doesn’t worry about being touched by any of it. All they concern themselves with is finding the next credible puppets to prop up in front of the sheeple.

Isn’t it sweet how the FBI/DOJ always gets all the warrants needed to read Hillary or Huma’s illicit emails, but they have no problem bypassing warrants and laws when it comes to President TRUMP and Team.

I dont think it matters what she says about the Russians. The Russians didnt let the contractors dig through the raw data spying then use it to get warrants. Go back to yesterdays thread and read the presidents speech. They can spin all they want. The president has long been on to them. We just need to keep getting the truth out.

The Russians didn’t write the Dossier…the Clintonistas like Nellie Ohr (who speaks Russian) and Mary Jacoby, Glen Simpson’s wife did. They were Editors in Chief in direct communication with the Obama White House. The Russians are the foil.

No need to connect dots, the only dot is a huge Black one, it is the Deep State and Democrap Thugs hired by Obama and Clinton. Now it’s time to get lots of ropes so we can have a hanging party!

Very good image. And when this is all done, they will be a tiny black dot in all of Infinity. Their evil will be gone and we’ll have great memories of how we slayed the AIs with IA. Intel as Art!

The “insurance policy” was, if they lost the election and it was found out that they were spying, how were they going to sell it to the American public.

Gut feeling, Sara Carters source is Chaffez and Gowdy. I’ve not been able to trust either one, since watching all those hearing during the Obama era.

The whole “I was duped” story sounds like a set up for Johnny Songbird. Remember his fat sweaty hands are all over this dossier to make every attempt to make it look legit.

Bottom line, NO ONE, is EVER going to buy this fairytale storyline scripted straight out of Hollyweird.

The fact that they are floating this trial balloon defense in advance of the “official” public disclosure of the FISA abuse details confirms that the information that will soon be revealed is SO compelling that “plausible deniability” is no longer plausible. This is GOOD! They will all be forced to publically defend themselves, some in courts of law, and others in the court of public opinion. To the 20% of committed socialist progressive that comprise the democrat base, the “Small Group” will become martyrs to the faith. To the other 80% of the country, they will be exposed as either criminal conspirators, or as power hungry, tyrannical, “Deep State” fascists.

    Not tired of winning yet!

Good post, Sundance and great comments Tree people. Two comments. First, SD has warned us, and now has told us again, we all need to process information with a deserving eye. In other words, don’t stop thinking for yourself. Way too many wantabes and celebrate whores, not to mention ‘deep state’ types, are working overtime on their agendas.

Second, so much had been happening quietly and behind the scenes, by extremely brilliant and dedicated patriots, that IMO there is no way the guilty are going to spin their way out of this. We also don’t know yet who has or will flip. I bet people will not sit back and enjoy being thrown under the bus.
