In other news, we are now into day two of IRS Commissioner Kautter’s appointment. I would imagine that he is meeting with, or has already met with Don Fort, the recently appointed Head of Investigative Services at the IRS, and whose specialty is purportedly fraud / tax evasion. The last day for the Clinton Foundation to file amended taxes is tomorrow, 11/15.

This will be their first filing during the Trump administration. Wonder how that will go?

But I guess his ‘ethics’ will allow him to assume someone is guilty without real proof, as long as there is some magical number threshold of accusers that is met. Kilmeade is just another useful idiot (although I’ve known that for a while).

I can’t watch this hearing any more. The Republicans are sitting there like potted plants letting the Dems set up perjury traps and beat up on Sessions mercilessly. The Dems are being permitted to refer to the President as “Trump” and not “the President” or “President Trump” and the Republicans just sit there and take it.

Here’s one answer I’d like to hear Sessions give to just one of these House members today:

“Sir, that last question had more than 300 words in it, 15 sentences with numerous dependent and independent clauses, and at least 4 misleading or blatantly false premises, yet you insist on a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ answer. You’re a moron.”

How long did it take to discredit the dossier? Due to the “seriousness of the charges” being brought against Judge Moore, it seems to me that some good lawyer could make the case for delaying the election in order to make time for an investigation into the accusers and allow the Republicans time to find anither candidate if there is anything to the charges.

This might serve to alleviate the feeding frenzy against conservative candidates brave enough to run in the future after this.

As far as I am concerned, I would walk over glass in my bare feet to vote for Roy Moore even though I supported the President when he backed Luther Strange.

The big picture is that there is a party of lies partnered with and controlled by foreign interests and by our mortal enemies which will stop at nothing to take out our President and take over our country.

Taking out Roy Moore will greatly increase their chances of doing that because many “Republicans” in congress are not on our side and will vote with our enemies at every opportunity.

The cause of returning freedom back to our country, of making it great again, of restoring rights and opportunities back to citizens, of protecting Christians and Jews, of taking back our educational process, of controlling our own military and intelligence agencies….I could go on…..is greater than whether or not Judge Moore dated or fondled young women 40 years ago.

Staying home and allowing the Left the victory in Alabama will not help our president and will threaten the MSGA agenda.

If you want a continuation of open borders, Muslims being given the advantage of affirmative action and raised to leadership over us in every government agency, further leftist control of the internet and all media, greater leftist control of our educational institutions and our kids, and a one party system….then Roy Moore’s unproven dating activites 40 years ago will be what matters most to you.

Take a good look at the “principled” weak and spineless Republicans who have abandoned the Judge and see who they really are.

White House Considering Mohamed El-Erian For Fed Vice Chair
    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-11-14/white-house-considering-mohamed-el-erian-fed-vice-chair-report

    https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/14/white-house-considering-nomination-of-mohamed-el-erian-for-federal-reserve-vice-chair-report.html

In what will come as a big surprise to many Fed watchers, moments ago Dow Jones reported that among other candidates, Mohamed El-Erian, former head of the Harvard Management Company, Bill Gross’ former partner at Pimco until the duo’s infamous falling out, and one of the few people who – together with John Taylor – actually deserve the nomination, is being considered for the Fed Vice Chairman role.

The WSJ adds that there is a broad range of candidates under consideration for post, and that the White House will focus on monetary policy experience for post. The vicechair selection process began after Powell’s nomination.

For those unfamilair, here are some recent perspectives on El-Erian’s recent thoughts:

    El-Erian likes Bitcoin/Blockchain
    Fears a China Minsky Moment
Is aware of equity market disconnect from reality
Thinks The Fed Put is gone
Is not surprised by low inflation

    And some recent notable quotables:

“The Fed’s embarked on this beautiful normalization: It has stopped [quantitative easing], it has raised rates, it has declared a path to reduce its balance sheet without disrupting markets and without derailing the global recovery. And I don’t think anybody will want to mess with this beautiful normalization”

“We don’t understand very well why inflation is low. And therefore, should inflation be an over-determining factor in monetary policy? On the other hand, how concerned is the Fed about elevated asset prices?”

“I suspect the market is too sanguine when it comes to how much central bankers are thinking about the risk of financial instability down the road.”

Seeker – El-Erian has been a favorite of mine for many years. Since we could not get Taylor for FED chair (too monetary conservative, too hawkish) and got Powell to calm the markets more. El-Erian would be a good choice as Vice Chair to add balance.

    • I know absolutely NOTHING about the finance world. However, THIS – if true – is beyond disturbing IMO about this appointment – IF this is the same man, he was allegedly considering jumping on-board with Mohammed Mursi in his attempt to return Egypt to the 7th century. If this is inaccurate, please let me know:

“Mohamed el-Erian, the head of the world’s biggest bond fund, is tipped to be the next Prime Minister of Egypt, according to report published today in the Arab-language Al-Watan newspaper.

PIMCO CEO el-Erian’s name is said to be among the leading candidates for the post now being contemplated by newly-elected president Mohamed Mursi, according to a Freedom & Justice party source quoted in the report. The Cambridge and Oxford-educated el-Erian was born in the United States but holds dual US/Egyptian citizenship and has been actively involved in the Egyptian election process as regular commentator in local and international media.”

My favorite take away so far from this hearing according to JS: A discredited dossier was sufficient to appoint a special counsel to investigate the President and his campaign, but a truckload of evidence against Clinton, the DNC, the Foundation, and GPS, all heavy enough to choke an elephant, may not meet the DOJ standards for the appointment of a special counsel.

That doesn’t even pass a simple laugh test.

If a government entity (in this case, Congress) has gone rogue…and is no longer fulfilling its Constitutional duties…and overstepping its authority…in my opinion, is no longer a Constitutional authority.

In other words, I do not see lying to a corrupt Congress as breaking rules or laws. We are in unprecedented danger as a nation…I believe we are at war with a rogue government in DC.

In war…different rules apply. I am not sure how I would explain such a complex reality to my grandchildren.

No evidence is being gathered, even from the undercover informant and previous conviction of a Russian national in regards to Uranium One.
The obvious Obstruction of Justice and Espionage Act crimes inherent in the Email server scandal are being ignored.
The Russian Dossier and it’s use in acquiring a FISA warrant is not being investigated.
The unmasking of innocent American Citizens by Obama Administration officials is being ignored.

            These crimes are being ignored.
To continue to defend Jeff Sessions denies reality.

Jeff Session is wholly worthless and should resign.

            • No. it was not proof. I listened to his testimony and heard no such thing. Obfuscation perhaps…but not proof.

No offense, but I hope some of you are never on a jury where I have been falsely accused of a crime.

Actually you would be better off with me as emotional BS, which Sessions supporters rely upon, doesn’t cut it with me.

                • I have read as many comments here as anybody since Sessions was appointed AG. Most of the theories supporting Sessions were well thought out, logically plausible arguments…stated as theory/opinion…not foregone conclusion.

The emotion I see is primarily from the jump to conclusion group.

I’m still wondering what President Trump, Vice President Pence and Sessions talked about during their hours-long private lunch a couple of weeks ago.

    PERIOD.
    yeah i’m mad…REALLY mad

under the watch of this recused clown thug puppet, implanted in the Trump Campaign and WH by the deep state, we will NEVER see the rightful prosecution of hillary, bill, barry, lynch, rice, comey and ON.
    that’s NEVER..

i’m no gambler, but if i was and had big $$$$, i’d bet the house on it

    think about it:

think about how President Trump has been AGGRESSIVELY and repeatedly calling out sessions to investigate these foul criminals NOW

and then think about Sessions SLIMY response today regarding the appointment of a special council to investigate these soulless criminals

NO RULE OF LAW applied equally to all
    NO respect for Constitution

sessions and his identical swamp twin, roy moore, are doing more damage to the President, MAGA, and the American taxpayer than any of their “democrat” buddies ever will…or at least as much

i can’t help but recall the words of Vladimir Lenin:
“the best way to control the opposition is to lead it”
