Dallas Cowboys Kneel Down in Arizona – Crowd Boo’s – NFL Implosion Complete…

The Dallas Cowboys, together with team owner Jerry Jones, take a collective knee at the start of the Monday Night Football game to display their unity with… well, something probably.  Stick a fork in the financial future of the NFL, it’s done; finished.

The only thing that was saving the NFL from full organizational collapse was the advent of Fantasy Football Leagues and the subsequent betting and fan-based league play therein.

Never underestimate the inability of any business organization to inoculate itself with idiot resistant policies once they enter the arena of identity politics.  It has always been thus:

.

There is something hilarious in the face of team owner Jerry Jones looking so smug. He thinks he’s figured out how to navigate this insufferable financial minefield. He didn’t. Now watch the slow-motion financial implosion… that smug look will change quickly as he watches his organizational bank account drain; which will be faster than it took to take the knee he promised would never happen. By Thanksgiving, we’ll see. Bigly.

I’m sorry, but I can’t stop laughing. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

All the NFL Kneelers need to all go to South Chicago. Walk down South Chicago Ave and get down on two knees and pray that the killing stops. That might help start some needed change. But I’m probably dreaming.

How about showing support and respect for the fans by standing up. They are nothing without the fans. So disappointed in the Dallas Cowboys taking a knee. I was hoping they would do the right things and take the high road by not getting political. Can’t believe the NFL has completely decided to ignore their die heart fans. They think we’re not important so I guess we can do the same, and boycott the NFL. Done, done, done.

This should go over really well in Texas! Morons!

You know, no one is even asking these players to put their hands over their hearts while the anthem is playing, but just to stand up. Maybe time to start a rival league. It’s one less thing for me to fret about anyway. Besides, the NHL starts up in about 10 days!!!

Yes, that is a point I made on another blog. We aren’t asking that you sing the anthem, or put your hand over your heart. You should stand. All the fans really want is respect for the country’s flag for whom you are playing. How hard is that?

The fact that they are willing to double down on it is incredible to me. A really bad business decision. And the Dallas Cowboys FOR SURE are going to suffer for it. The smugness is almost palpable. And disgusting.

That which you tolerate will get worse.

I am thinking I might perhaps learn the rules of the NHL. Hmmmmmmm.

They have now taken the side of the rioting BLM movement. Plus they have synchronized their “protest” to show “resistance” to Trump. Everything is about tearing down the Trump Presidency.

it’s the same thing, it’s an in your face demonstration/politicization of the sport. The exact timing matters not and they *only* changed the timing of the ‘display of unity’ in an effort to try and obfuscate their intent to shove their political views down your throat while you are held captive.

Kind of like ‘well, they did call for killing cops at that one BLM march, but that was other people. Now they just say fry em like bacon so it’s not quite the same thing…’.

From a review of the biography, “The Last Cowboy” by Mark Ribowsky:

“As the coach during professional football’s most storied era, Tom Landry transformed the gridiron from a no-holes barred battlefield to the highly technical chess match it is today. With his trademark fedora and stoic façade, he was a man of faith and few words, for 29 years guiding ‘America’s Team’ from laughingstock to well oiled machine. Now, more than a decade after Landry’s death, acclaimed biographer Mark Ribowsky takes a fresh look at this misunderstood legend, telling us as much about our country’s obsession with football as about Landry himself, the likes of whom we’ll never see again.”

Tom Landry did take the Cowboys from laughingstock to well oiled machine. Sadly, Jerry Jones has taken them full circle, not just back to laughingstocks but going so soft and weak as to align with BLM. Sorry, Coach.

actually I don’t care what Tom Landry did for the Cowboys and football, I care about what he did for his country: he was a B-17 bomber copilot with the Mighty Eighth. He flew 30 combat missions and survived a crash landing in Belgium when his plane ran out of fuel. Meanwhile, his brother Robert was killed while ferrying a B-17 to England. No way this man would not have honored the flag…and no way we should not honor him. I am disgusted by this whole mess and glad that our President has exposed so many worthless “Americans”!

Exactly. This is actually far bigger and more important than just “lack of respect for the flag”. Because what this “protest” is really about is, as you say, trying to get people to align themselves with BLM, Antifa, and all they stand for. This isn’t about protesting for a specific good cause, and against an obvious injustice/evil. No, this is all based on fraud, and they KNOW it’s a fraud, but that doesn’t really matter. As long as enough people jump on the bandwagon, they’ll get what they want. And I think what they want is nothing short of trying to push this country toward all-out civil war.

      • H/t Dr. Savage

SO many places to put this and I will hit the three treads this morning.

THE NATIONAL ANTHEM IS ABOUT A NATION NOT A PRESIDENT

President Trump says players who protested the National Anthem being played before games should be fired from their teams over the weekend, and the whole world exploded. Yesterday, America was treated to NFL players taking a knee, or sitting or locking arms while the national anthem was being played in protest of what the President said. Well, guess what? They weren’t protesting a President, they were giving a big middle finger to the country.

That flag and that song should be a unifying moment, a moment to say ‘no matter what differences we have, we are all American, and it’s a privilege to be one.’ But a bad player, influenced by his radical Muslim girlfriend last year decided to make it about him. He claimed to be protesting the killing of black men in America by the police while at the same time wearing a shirt praising the Castros of Cuba. And it’s spread to this. ‘He’s practicing his first amendment rights’ everyone said.

Well Donald Trump practiced his first amendment rights and an entire league lost their minds. This tradition goes back a hundred years to World War 1. The people loved their country then, with boys fighting overseas in a horrible war. We have soldiers on the battlefield today, and these players just spit on them. The national anthem is about a nation, not about a President. And if these thugs don’t know that, they should be thrown off the team.

And the commissioner of this league supports this. He should be thrown out too. He’s saying these players have a right to their free speech and to protest if they see fit. But it wasn’t that way when the Dallas Cowboys wanted to wear stickers on their helmets to honor the police after several Dallas policemen were shot. No, he wouldn’t allow that. Or when an NFL player wanted to honor 9/11 victims with a decal on his shoe. No, we couldn’t have that either. But spitting on the flag, you can do that all day.

But people will still defend these thugs who spit on everything good about America, saying it’s their right. But is it? Yes, they can say what they want, but shouldn’t they be accountable for what they say? Their bosses should fire them because they’re staining their product with anti-Americanism. But they won’t do anything because they’re too afraid of the backlash that the leftist fascists have instigated in this country. All that we used to honor and respect must be thrown out and we have to accept the ridiculous.

Man is woman, woman is man, America is bad, the Soviet Union was good. The Soviet Union was good and now Russia is bad. The civil rights movement never happened, minorities are now more oppressed than ever. It’s upside down. The fact that these players can do what they did yesterday, with no repercussions whatsoever disproves their arguments. Where could you do this on the planet? Dictatorial regimes you’d be killed or put in torture prisons. Even in Westernized countries you have laws against certain speech. I’ve been banned from Britain for something I didn’t even say, but here millionaire thugs can go on national TV and vehemently hate the country.

Remember this, when they do what they did yesterday, they’re not disrespecting a President, they’re disrespecting an entire nation. They’re disrespecting you and me.

Now The MSM & Headline Readers Blame POTUS For Saying The Obvious, If You Bring Your Protest To The Office You Should Be Fired! I Know I’m Paraphasing, But Really Think About It. This Is The Age Of Social Media. It’s The “Information Age” & The Players Can’t Take Their Message To One Of Those Forums? It’s Ridiculous! Imagine The Average American Doing This In The Middle Of An Office Or In A Meeting! We Would Be Fired, No Questions Asked! However, When The Players Bring It To Their Office, An Office That We The People Watch As Entertainment They’re Supposed To Be Given Another Elitist Pass! Just As Sinister Is The Guilt Card That The Left Always Plays, Now It’s Our Fault Because We Are Racist & Don’t Understand The Meaning Of What The Players Are Trying To Say. Not This Time, I Understand Exactly What They Are Saying! The Statement By POTUS Was Not Racist At All! He Came Out Against ANYONE Disrespecting The Flag During The Anthem & Rightly Said They Should Be Fired! You’re False Entitlement & Poor Misunderstood Theme Will Not Work Here. These Athletes Are Paid Insane Amounts Of Money. They Should Hit Both Knees & Thank God That They Live In America! Instead They Feel Elite & Entitled & Choose To Shove Their Misplaced Protests Down The Collective AMERICAN Peoples Throats! I Will Not Be Watching On Sunday. I Will Also Not Be Watching ESPN For Their Recent Actions. I Urge You To Join Me In This Boycott. I’m Unsure Whether Not I Will Ever Watch Again. Honestly, At This Point The Whole Mind Set Of Professional Leagues Disrespecting Their Fan & Patting Each Other On The Back For It Sickens Me. If I Do Watch Again At Some Point It Wont Be Because The MSM Bullies My Thoughts Or Makes Me Feel Guilty. It Will Be Because The Nonsense Has Stopped & Some Sincerity Of Regret Has Been Shown. The Players & League Will Scream Out “It’s Our Right To Protest!” This Time I Think We Should Respond With, “It’s Our Right NOT To Be Exposed To It!” This Country Is So Much Bigger Than The NFL & NBA, And They Need To Learn That In No Uncertain Terms!

I’m sure a few of them are actually smart enough to attend college, but we have the larger thug group more than balancing the scale on that aspect. I’m glad my father can’t see this. He was able to attend college (1937 – 1941) because of a football scholarship. He LOVED football, one of the few pleasures he enjoyed that did not involve work or civic duty. After he died, his college changed the name of the football team to something more politically correct. Liberals ruin everything.

They did not – Jerry Jones gave a long interview after the game & explained the process the team went through. All players and staff were in a variety of meetings for 3 days. The one thing Jones required was that NO player or staff make any comments about the controversy OR President Trump .. and the media tried hard to get them to do so. The Media is also working overtime to present those teams that all stand with locked arms as “protesting” the President. Why? Because the are going Crazy that some Teams didn’t do the Fist or Knee thing to Dis-Respect the Flag and National Anthem.

It’s clear that some players (Cowboys) really wanted to “protest” in some way – and others were very much against it – including Jones. The ywalked on to the field, made a short statement that they kneel for the hope of Equality and stand united as a team. Compromise is part of life and it’s essential when you are talking about a Testosterone filled bunch of Football players – many of them Black to are under heavy pressure from Friends/Family to “take a stand”. The did “take a stand” that all could live with – it was for Unity, Equality and most important to them – TEAM.

Part of his statement after the game:
“I made my mind up on this issue,” Jerry Jones said after the Cowboys’ 28-17 win, “that I wasn’t going to comment other than I am very proud of the fact that the Dallas Cowboys and our players have always stood for the flag and the recognition for the flag always. What is important is to figure out that to show the kind of respect and the perception of respect. How can (the team) in front of a national audience show unity and a statement of equality. (The team) wanted to do that. It evolved throughout the organization, particularly over the last two days, and it was executed.

“I can’t say enough about the understanding and the awareness of our team and these young men, if you will, that basically said, ‘You know, that makes sense.’ There’s no need for us to talk about unity and equality and have 60 percent of this country mad at you because you’re not being perceived as honoring the flag. And this was a way to do both.”

As I read about these teams over the weekend – it occurred me that whoever came up with this “Locking arms” to show “Unity” was brilliant. With a player holding on to another player, the odds of one of them going rogue and dropping to their knee was pretty much solved. Brilliant idea – locking elbows still allowed those to put their hand over their hearts if they chose. I’m not a “Purist” – standing in respect works for me, I feel the same way in Church. Bowing your head in prayer, and not clasping your hands – works for me.
I’m speculating here, that one of the compromises to the “knee” was that some could say a short prayer … the word “pray was in the last sentence of Jones statement to the press. I’m also going to speculate that he Gag order that Jones and Garrett imposed about President Trump and the controversy will remain in place.

There is absolutely no question that they all stood at attention while the National Anthem was played and the Flag unfurled on the field.

Locking arms came from the Seahawks LAST YEAR who wanted to provide a more PC version of support for Kaepernick’s kneeling. The method is different, but the goal is the same, support for BLM and protesting police targeting blacks.

Why can’t these players and owners do a similar demonstration of ‘unity’ outside of the stadium before or after the game? Why must it be during the game at the moment of (or JUST prior to) the fans HONORING our flag, country and those who have served? Play the @#%@ game, stop injecting politics into it. I didn’t buy tickets to go see a demonstration of ‘unity’ against LEO, I bought it to see the game, hopefully played at the highest level.

Sorry, Jones can pretty it up all he wants but at the heart of it is the same anti-american BS based on fake narratives that police actively seek to kill black people ‘for no reason’. You don’t see any displays for ‘unity’ for all the PEOPLE who are killed yearly ‘for no reason’… just the blacks who are killed by cops, shortly after innocently breaking the law and resisting arrest but dindunuttin.

Jones has done well to try and manage the optics, but the idea that they were PRAYING for unity is just such a load of horse manure I can barely choke down my vomit. We know what it looks like when football teams gather for a moment of prayer… or at least we used to (no idea if it’s done or allowed anymore, haven’t watched). Funny how this particular ‘prayer’ looked almost exactly like every one of the demonstrations from others this weekend. Purely an unintentional coinkydink no doubt.

And of all the people on earth to spit on the flag and national anthem of the greatest country that has ever existed—ignorant, spoiled, overpaid narcissists who know less about history than a smart first grader. Equality? I understand people being obsessed with football (father, brother, husband), but these are not good people siding with BLM and against the United States of America. 🇺🇸 They are jackasses and a whole lot worse. If they want equality, they can start sharing their unearned pay with others. Today. When are the police officers who protect the public from thugs (like some of these great ball players) going to receive equality?

That famous B. Franklin quote “Gentlemen, we must all hang together, or we will hang separately” may have been said at the time. But in reality, if the Washington lead troops were not victorious, all the Founders would have been “drawn and quartered”.
Drawn and quartered is the ending of the movie Braveheart.
    Pretty horrible.
That was the correct punishment at the time.

Just saying, these petty thugs in the NFL are wildly uninformed, and monstrously disrespectful.

For me, I stopped watching all NFL years ago, when R. Limbaugh tried to buy into a team, was rebuffed because of his conservative politics.

They started attacking with the politically correct names,(Red Skins),more than concern for concussions, deflategate and huge investigation, woman reporters in the LOCKER ROOM complaining about how they were treated.( girls stay the hell out of the men’s locker room).
I feel this is a set up by the left and Sorros to further erode America by imploding the NFL and sadly the NFL players and coaches are falling for whatever it is they have been led to believe their supposed to be protesting. Now a political wedge has been driven between NFL and fans….divide and conquer and goodbye to a great American tradition that actually brought blacks and whites together.

If the “protest” is about oppression, why the angst at Pres. Trump for simply standing up for the United States? Geniuses like Lebron James and Kobe Bryant are aiming these tools at the wrong party. The democrat party and assorted globalist cohorts have been running the show for longer than most of us have alive. They crapped the nest and made life miserable for the “oppressed.” Therefoe, their anger should rightly be directed at them, not the non -politician new guy who is actually trying to help them by getting control of illegal immigration and creating better economic conditions which will benefit them most.
Jerry Jones on one knee was like Hillary Clinton buying fireworks. They are so sure of winning this, only to come out a big loser. He should have gotten down on both knees, but he’ll be there soon enough when the value of that franchise burns down with the rest of league.

It’s smoke and mirrors …this is what they said ” “The objectives as much as anything else was to some how, some way to demonstrate unity and equality and do so without anyway involving the American Flag and the national anthem. It took a lot of conversation of how to do that.”

Ok, so they wanted to show unity for what exactly? They’re all great dudes? They all want to win?
For that we back up to the one and only… ” Colin Kaepernick sparked the movement in August 2016 as he sat on the bench during the national anthem to protest police brutality directed at African-Americans.”
Then PDJT had the audacity to criticize these anti American, political displays. The show of unity was needed because” ..”Garrett gauging his players’ emotions about Trump’s comments.
The Cowboys met at least three times to plan how they’d respond to Trump’s comments, sources said.”
Their show of unity as well as all the other teams with the arms locked stupidness was because their players believed in displaying their political views on the field during the anthem (and now basically during the game with the black power fist) but they maybe weren’t going to but then they wanted to because Trump insulted them?

Just because they magnanimously refrained from protesting during the actual anthem is irrelevant to me. The fact remains that they use their national workplace platform to shove their BLM message down fans and viewers throats and they disingenuously blamed Trump for what they wanted to do anyway..they just changed the schedule of when they would do it.

Dragging private out into public – with politics, never to return – is one thing. This NFL thing is but one one more way to invade our homes, to force an issue they know is unpalatable, and destroy an enjoyable American tradition. Because they think it’s violent. All this angst against the NFL means nothing if you don’t move beyond talk. I have been a die-hard Cowboys fan since the days of Roger Stauback and Too Tall Jones. I probably have not missed watching 10 games in the last 30 years but last night that all ended. I did not watch any game on Sunday and turned it on last night to see what the Cowboys would do. My sons and I were disgusted with the stupid kneeling and we turned it off immediately and refused to watch.
I also sent an email to the Cowboys organization letting them know they lost a lifelong fan last night. I think Jerry Jones’ explanation was a cowardly way out. They may say they don’t mean to disrespect the flag, but the idiots don’t understand that is what I take it as. I have no problem with the players making a statement about causes they are passionate about, but I don’t even know what they’re trying to say. I know that what I hear is they despise Trump so much they are willing to show their contempt by disrespect to the flag.
So this week the NFL and the Cowboys lost a fan. I will not watch again until I hear someone apologize and say they made a mistake. I cancelled Sunday Ticket and let the Cowboys know. I know it is only voice, but if you don’t take action and let them know, it means nothing.

  46. USEFUL IDIOTS

In political jargon, a useful idiot is a person perceived as a propagandist for a cause the goals of which they are not fully aware, and who is used cynically by the leaders of a cause.
If you have never heard the term “useful idiot” it was terminology used by Vladimir Lenin to describe communist sympathizers in the West (America). While Lenin and the Soviets held them in utter contempt they also viewed them as tools for dispensing communist propaganda to other countries, thus infecting foreign cultures with their totalitarian tripe. After their mission was complete, they were no longer “useful.” It’s was also a term used to refer to brainwashed American Marxists who blindly support any ideology that gets themselves out of real work and causes others to pay their way. Sound familiar?
Hillary Clinton’s 92 page thesis at Wellesley College honored the author of a book that provides the roadmap for community chaos titled Rules for Radicals written by a man she called her hero, Sal Alinsky. In his book Alinsky acknowledged Lucifer, “Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins — or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.. Saul Alinsky”
Whether we like it or not, everyone on the left from the Obama and Hillary on down is playing by his rules in the political arena. Not all liberals have read his book or know his name, but his tactics have become universal. .Alinsky’s tactics requires an abundance of ‘useful idiots’ and most easily targeted are low-income individuals without hope living in the slums of our cities. In several Chicago low-income areas where Alinsky worked, his use of radical conflict backfired and the communities have been unable to recover from the chaos created by the ‘useful idiots’ following his direction.
However, the good news is that some ‘useful idiots’ are easily identified as they have numbers on their backs and play a kids game called football. Understand?

Has anyone given any thought to the fact that one stupid player has been used by the Obama gang to turn this into one more issue to divide our Nation. They lost the election and are trying anything they can to stop President Trump. On top of that the MSM as usual pile on with their faux news to fan the fire. If we stop giving them air time, it can assist in shutting them down.

No, it’s not one stupid player, it’s multiple and was catching on to other leagues (NCAA, HS, popwarner) and sports as well. MSM already giving it air time and other demonstrations planned. It was definitely time to call this baby ugly (grab it by the p….) and stop pretending it will just go away if we ignore it long enough.

It’s about the money… it’s always about the money. If/when the public sentiment negatively impacts their revenue stream is the only way they’ll actually change behavior IMHO

This is a perfect example of what globalism has done to American business.
They aren’t going to let go of one thin dime of corporate profit, no matter what their customers want.
BTW, I wanted to punch a suckup on there who wrote some nonsense about supporting peaceful protest.
We are talking about a football game.
There is no place for protest, peaceful or otherwise, at this venue. It isn’t a “platform” for anything, it’s a stadium. For a game.

I wonder how much the original protesting players (like CK) were paid by Soros and his BLM goons to start and continue this stupid “protest.” I bet if you asked the average black player why they are doing this they would not be able to give an articulate response beyond the BLM talking points. I hope George was paying well, because when the league implodes they won’t have their lucrative day jobs anymore.

I wouldn’t advise much hand-wringing over that “dividing our Nation” stuff, Bod.

Our Nation is far past the point of “uniting”(TM).

If you think you’re going to “unite” with the people who support this anti-American and blatantly racist nonsense, I’d suggest that’s a very naïve hope.

At this point, we should have no illusions about chasing such mirages as a “united America”.

I think these recent provocations are far, far more valuable as an “awakening” mechanism.

What really needs to happen is for the sensible portion of America (aka “taxpayers”) to be awakened to the anti-American treachery that’s afoot and has been afoot for some 70 years or so.

Because America is being Balkanized before our very eyes. Don’t doubt it for a minute.

Choose your ethnic enclave early. Butress your portion of society (your family, your friends, your community, your small-business interests) against the swarm of non-working parasites and their Deep State Government protectors as best you can.

Seek advantage where you can. Diminish your tax contributions as much as is legal. Re-locate to a more favorable community if necessary.

The time when “uniting” was a possibility has passed. To quote Austin Powers:
“I’m sorry, baby, but that train has sailed”

Well said Nimrodman. I’ve been saying for years there is no compromising or uniting with them. They would have us all jailed or killed if they have the chance. The Leftist ideology must be marginilized at the very least. Best case scenario, it would be eradicated but we all know sick, demented people will always be around.

      Great Article:
Nothing thrilled me more than watching NFL football on the glorious Autumn afternoons of my youth. I was in another world as I watched my heroes play, one o’clock every Sunday. AFC games on NBC while CBS carried the NFC.

The next night brought the Prime-Time Glitz and Glamor of “MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!! ” Cosell, Dandy, and Giff were on my tube every week.

NFL Film’s John Facenda, with his deep, God-like voice, chronicled game montages. Slow-motion action against a backdrop of military-march soundtracks or sweeping orchestral scores, creating a cinematic feel to the NFL Films production. Camera shots were so close-up that even player’s expressions were visible and hot breath could be seen spouting from their nostrils.

Facenda’s narratives were mesmerizingly hypnotic and irresistably captivating to a young person like me- “THERE. ON WIND. SWEPT. FROZEN TUNDRA. TWO TEAMS. TITANS OF HUMANITY. CLAD IN THE ARMAMENTS OF BATTLE. STUGGLED MIGHTILY IN PITCHED BATTLE. ‘TIL THE FINAL STROKE OF THE CLOCK. HERALDED THE END. OF THE HERCULEAN CONFLICT. ONLY ONE SIDE REMAINED STANDING. ‘NEATH THE GLORIOUS LIGHT OF VICTORY. WHILST THRONGS OF ONLOOKERS. PONDERED THE MARVELS THEIR EYES BEHELD. ON. THAT. DAY…” He made each game sound like an epic battle upon which rested the fate of the world. He could make the reading of a phone book sound exciting.

Looking back, the 1970’s NFL was jam-packed with Superstars. 70’s running backs: Campbell, Payton, Simpson, Dorsett, Csonka, Foreman, Harris, Mitchell, Muncie, Pruitt, Montgomery, Washington, Metcalf, Anderson, McCutcheon, Riggins, Brockington, and on and on. I know the rules has changed, favoring the passing game, but would anyone seriously argue for the passing attack if you had to yank a Gale Sayers out of the game, so you could heave the rock 36-39 times like they do now?

Quarterbacks & recievers: Staubach, Stabler, Bradshaw, Tarkenton, Kilmer, Fouts, Anderson, etc. (W.Moon was excelling in CFL). Recievers: Stallworth, Winslow, Casper, Biletnikoff, Branch, Swann, Pearson, Alworth, DuPree, Lofton, Rashad, Chandler, Newsome, Largent, Warfield – how can one list them all? I was Star-Stuck. I loved to watch these HOF players, and I emulated them when I played football with my friends.

Between NFL Films and John Facenda, the superstars, and the leadership of Pete Rozelle, the NFL morphed from an obscure football league, leaving 32,000, $12 seats empty in Super Bowl I, to a multi-billion dollar behemoth, equal to the COMBINED value of MLB and the NBA. Even more amazing? The NFL has a mere 16 opportunities to sell tickets. Between MLB and the NBA, there are 244 games played. AND, they compete for entertainment dollars with MLB throughout the month of October, then, the NBA for the rest of the season!

Somehow, someone created something so wonderful that America fell in love and elevated it to the most prominent, dominating pastime in our history. I will carry to my grave fond memories of exciting NFL games, the miraculous comebacks, the edge-of-your-seat overtimes, and nail-biting finishes. I will remember the absolutely astonishing story of the NFL’s evolution and rise to prominence in this country.

1 last thing – I will never watch another NFL game.
      America outranks it.

Now you can go outside on a beautiful fall afternoon and enjoy not being in front of the TV! I learned that lesson once I moved from one market to another and could no longer watch my beloved Giants every week. I gave it up. I still miss the old team, and the old players but love having free Sundays!

They (the left) are doing this to win the long game of transforming the opinion of the youth of America. They know they are angering the adults and don’t care. Where they have failed is that they have infantilized the youth until no one is really self sufficient until after 25. So the NFL will go bankrupt before they have a chance to complete the leftist mission. I’m praying this is so.

JimmyTets: Don’t kid yourself, buddy. NASCAR is in the sights of the left. White southern men driving inefficient hydrocarbon-guzzling large American cars: Gotta put a stop to that. The left’s vision for the future of racing is a series featuring Priuses and Volts in the “standard” division, and modified Teslas in the “superstok” division. Drivers’ uniforms will feature mom jeans and little ventilated helmets, and all drivers must be signed up with Uber. The “official drink” for this racing series will be Dasani Water in a recyclable bottle. Every month there’ll be a special competition that pits Google and Apple driverless cars against each other.

            Stellar narrative, SafeSpace.

I suggest you have a future as a screenwriter, penning futuristic visions of totalitarian dystopias on a par with Soylent Green and the one where the guy says “I’ll be back” …

… to be produced and directed by John Millius’ and James Wood’s offspring in a non-Hollywood underground film industry.

Roger Goodell would just as soon see football go, because he’s made his money, but the players seem unaware that they are participants in their own demise.
I’m wondering if that’s why they started the patriotic displays with the teams present at the games. I’m told this started in 2009. Not playing the anthem, but having the teams out there at the time.
Was it preparation for the moment patriotic Americans were to be shamed out of pride in our country?
Don’t forget, this started with BLM, which started with Obama.

Goodell started to destroy the NFL when he allowed the pink hysteria in the month of October with pink shoes, towels, bandanas, etc.. It is coming soon again next week. Haven’t watch a game in three years now and I don’t miss it. Now is fall, go out and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. You will be happier for it.

Not just football, but I believe the left has been gunning for the national anthem for quite some time. I have been at lots of events recently where most people don’t even know the words, much less bother to sing it. They don’t know they are supposed to stand, take their hats off, hand over heart. We have been so inundated with “the song stylings” of various performers singing the anthem in ways that make it barely recognizable, that recently when I was at a JUNIOR HIGH hockey game I was shushed by the woman standing next to me when I sang along with the anthem, being performed (badly) by a ninth grade kid. The woman told me,”You’re not supposed to SING it, you’re supposed to listen to it.” Um hmmm. Not in MY neighborhood.

I suspect that the NFL will propose that the “solution” to this “problem” will be to do away with the anthem at NFL games, or at least not broadcast it anymore.
