Second Trump Official Refutes Democrats’ “Misleading” Statement On DACA, Border Wall

Wall Street Journal reporter Rebecca Ballhaus tweeted after the dinner that Short told her the Democrats’ announcement on a deal with the President is “misleading.”

“WH leg affairs director Marc Short calls Dems’ DACA statement “misleading,” says no deal on DACA or border wall $$ was reached tonight,” tweeted Ballhaus.

How would you know anything about Mark Short? Do you think that Trump is some lame brained idiot who was forced by someone else to select his employees, and that he is unable to exercise any power over them once they are hired? Short is an at-will employee of the President. The President has been know to fire people, in real life, as well as on TV, when and where he wants to do so.

Anything Pelosi and Schumer say should be ignored. They’re playing politics, just like the entire Uniparty. Points to remember:

      1) Hillary still isn’t president, and President Trump (and his admin) manage to get digs in on her whenever they can.
      2) I call these “noises” – political artifact, (distortion or fuzziness of an image) – we see this in medical diagnostic tests all the time.
      3) President Trump knows how the people feel. He knows the campaign promises he ran on, including the same key points which arise each time he has done a rally post-election. The messaging hasn’t changed.
      4) Throwing a little attention to the Democrats is designed to make the GOP-E uneasy. The reason why they had a fit over his deal with Schumer and Pelosi regarding the debt ceiling was because he only gave 3months – whereas, the little known truth from the GOP side was that they WANTED 18 MONTHS. Which would have got them through the 2018 elections without having to show there behinds to their constituency. When you’re not having debt battles – you’re hiding the pork and waste the Uniparty achieves.
      5) President Trump keeps Dems and GOP-e on the hot seat. Until he signs anything, and we read the details, there isn’t anything that says he isn’t working for the People.
      6) Reiterate point number one.

Good News! In case anybody didn’t hear.

The House decided to fully fund President Trump’s border wall request for this year. That’s great news!

President Trump is going to Florida tommorow (today). That’s also great news!

Also, just to remind everybody, last week, President Trump fulfilled his campaign promise to END DACA! No more Dreamers are getting in the country!

Isn’t that reason to celebrate? CAN’T STOP WINNING, folks! So happy to have voted for this man, GO PRESIDENT TRUMP, WE FULLY SUPPORT YOU!

What? Dreamers, by definition, are already in the country. The fight is over if they can stay. Trump’s administration is still honoring current DACA permits while renewing permits soon set to expire. I don’t call that winning.

Your kidding right? Read Trumps own press release. He “suspended” DACA for 6 months. The only ending was of new applications. Those already submitted will be processed and Dreamers whose permits are set to expire this month get a chance to renew. The administration said it will honor current permits (and ones being granted/renewed) for up to 2 years, with the clock ticking down every day since the announcement. Its business as usual, hence Trump saying he will have to “revisit” it if Congress fails to act.

bulwarker is correct; no new apps as of 9/5, BUT existing permits are honored and some can last up to two years. Permits expiring soon can be renewed by 10/5 and will be for two years. . No further permits after that.

He’s certainly not one to change his mind without serious consideration.

Pardon my language, i’m probably going to get banned but really the only words to describe that was he was a complete Bad-Ass at that rally. That was one of the most epic, mind blowing things I saw in the entire campaign. He literally flew to Mexico and told the president to his face he was going to build a wall… then went to Phoenix and just gave a barn burner of a speech about how we either have a country or we don’t, they’ve all got to go back and get in line, etc.

I think I even cried watching part of it (Don’t tell President Trump i’m a crier)

Folks our President is getting these Morons on the left and our Uniparty Republicans in the Senate all worked up. You have Crying 😭 Chuck and Nancy (I met with Bush this evening) running around D.C. telling anyone with a microphone 🎤 that the President wants DACA resolved quickly and won’t use the Wall in the negotiations. What the two Morons aren’t telling you is that our President is pushing for the RAISE Act and all its goodies to be part of the deal.

One Democrat Congressman let that little birdie out when speaking with The Hill about their meeting with the President earlier in the day. Democrats are running right into the trap! When House Republicans demand the RAISE Act for their vote, the public will say it is only fair that the Democrats meet the Republicans halfway. Plus 65% of AMERICANS want the RAISE Act passed! That is a lot of angry 😡 voters that will kill the Democrats for not being willing to compromise.

No blame on the President who took his biggest campaign promise off the table in order to negotiate in good faith! Steven Miller and our beloved Lion 🦁 are laughing 😂 their asses off this evening.

Even the writer for The Hill missed the Art of the Deal in his article.

    http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/350585-trump-tells-lawmakers-to-move-quickly-on-daca-without-linking-it-to

    From the article linked above:

President Trump told lawmakers Wednesday that Republicans will move quickly to shelter hundreds of thousands of “Dreamers” facing an uncertain future after the president gutted a program granting legal rights to those same immigrants.

He also promised he would not seek to link funding for his proposed border wall to legislative action on the program.

Democratic leaders have warned that they’ll opposed any new funding for Trump’s border wall. In response, the president told the lawmakers Wednesday that he’ll divorce the issue from a DACA bill.

“He said, ‘We don’t have to tie a wall to this. We can put a wall [in another bill],’” Cuellar said, emphasizing that other border enforcement measures would likely be included.

    HERE IS THE TRAP:

Trump also floated another idea that would certainly complicate passage of a DACA fix: the president, Cuellar said, wants to include parts of a GOP bill that demands more merit-based screenings for immigrants while reducing the number of legal immigrants by roughly a half over a decade. That proposal, sponsored by Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and David Perdue (R-Ga.), is a non-starter for most Democrats.

Treepers sleep well tonight and don’t worry for a single minute about the garbage you are going to hear from the MSM on TV 📺 and in the press. Sarah Sanders is chomping at the bit to slap the Whores back to reality during her next press conference when she reveals what our President wants in return.

The RAISE Act in my opinion is the DEATH 💀 of the CoC and especially the Democrat Party because all future legal immigrants will not be voting for Democrats in any election for generations to come.

President Trump isn’t going to get 100% of what he wants, anybody who thinks he is is fooling themselves. He wheels and deals, the DACA thing is dead (no more in) and what to do with the ones who got in is messy. The Democrats are stupid enough to make that a big deal for them, so President Trump is attempting to trade something that effects ALL Americans in for something that will ultimately effect half a million people. This is what he does.

If he gets the RAISE act in there I’d be thrilled. He’s playing hardball with the democrats over their little pet Dreamers (who are already here) bill and getting something much greater in return. He’s the best deal maker on the planet, I trust he will do great.

Not everybody will agree, but I trust President Trump a heck of a lot more than I trust those people who may disagree 🙂

I am completely with you! He purposely waited five months to publicly back the RAISE Act. Remember that the bill was completed in February. Yet our President waited till early August (just before the break for Congress) to introduce and support it. I also believe he asked AG Paxton from TX to push his administration into a decision on DACA on the first day that Congress got back from their August break. The RAISE Act needed DACA and the hysteria of the left, Uniparty Republicans, MSM, CoC, Silicon Valley etc. to have any chance of being passed.

Really? You’re willing to sell out our country’s future for the RAISE act? A bill that fails to address an major immigration problems while its restrictions will be ignored by future administrations?

Where is the discussion over ending Birth-right citizenship? What about making English as the official language? How do we guarantee our own American kids get those college slots and entry job spots over Dreamers? What happens to the parents of Dreamers when they are allowed to stay? How do you ensure they will all never get citizenship? How do you deal with the massive influx of illegals when the third-world south of our border hears an amnesty is working its way through Congress with Trumps support? With recent history proving most anyone can lie on their application and claim protected (in this case DACA) status while it works its way through the courts. What about afterwards, when more illegals are encouraged to come here because we’ve given two amnesties in 30 years?

No, all I hear from the chattering political class is more of the same. Broken promises and half-hearted solutions. We need to draw a hard line with Dreamers, we owe them nothing. Instead, they will get amnesty (and eventually citizenship) while we get a momentary decease in LEGAL immigration and a few more ICE agents at the border. At least until the next democrat president takes office, rejiggers the legal immigration standard to allow to for vast numbers of exceptions and reassigns those extra ICE agents to border processing or sitting on their hands. And that “big, beautiful wall” won’t mean much when its half-completed, understaffed, and wholly incapable of combating visa overstayers.
But yeah, we get the RAISE act and preliminary funding for a wall, art of the deal indeed!

I can’t help but see the failure of Reagan’s deal as an object lesson. They got what they wanted and in exchange they offered promises that were never fulfilled. Most folks consider Ronaldus Magnus, President Reagan, to be one of our very best. Yet, he agreed to AMNESTY for MILLIONS of ILLEGAL ALIENS in exchange for a Democrat “promise.” We got nothing from that deal except an invitation for MILLIONS more ILLEGAL ALIENS over the next 3 decades. No Wall, no nothing.

President Trump referred to this in his campaign. When asked about Reagan he specifically said, “Yes, l liked President Reagan, but I did not like some of his actions on immigration”. It was a bold thing to say during the campaign since at the time he was being accused of being an interloper to “The Party of Reagan.”

It is as “clear as The Wall” (that is NOW under construction, by the way), that Trump The Magnificent has no intention of making the same grievous error made by Ronaldus The Great.

During the campaign I heard that money for a wall had already been allocated a long time ago, in accordance with the immigration deal that Reagan made — and since that money was never spent, the new president would have access to it.

If the above is true, it means money can be symbolically allocated and not spent. Either that, or what I heard during the campaign was malarkey.

And with DACA not totally off the table, it looks like the President will have to give up DACA deportations for the wall. I just don’t see the justice in it. We have laws governing both immigration and the border. All that is needed is to enforce those laws.

To choose one for the other is like making the President and the American people buy something we already own. If he caves on this, it will make Trump look like the same swamp-dwelling politician we have had enough of. Same dog, different collar.

Margarita, you keep saying DACA but DACA is dead. He ended it last week. No more will get in.

Now we have the Dreamers who are ALREADY in. That is a finite number. Do you understand the difference? (I’m not being a jerk, i’m trying to help explain).

We are no longer talking about letting people in illegally. We’re talking about the ones that Obama already let in. There will be no more, because President Trump ended DACA last week.

Nobody is talking about a new bill, that lets new people in. There is no bill yet. They are talking about do we A. deport the Dreamers when their permits run out, or B. give them a path to citizenship.

I’d rather deport them. I’m not going to get every single thing I want, though, and if this minor thing (500,000 people Obama already let in) gets traded off, I’m fine with it.

Unfortunately maybe even he underestimated the intensity of some of the hardliners on this issue.

I’m sure he likely floated it. He’s testing the waters. They’re all in on what they want, they want the Dreamers to be able to stay. I can see a scenario where President Trump says “We could probably do that. What do I want? Oh no, no, I don’t need the wall. I know that’s touchy for you. We’ll do the wall seperately. BTW, we really, really need to get these Tax Cuts, you guys like tax cuts don’t you? ”

He’s fishing to see what he can get. Tonight he didn’t put the screws to them, and nobody agreed to anything… but they left the meeting thinking they got a big win. Now they’ve set up that expectation with their base.

When they go back to cement it, is when President Trump gets what HE wants. Who knows what he’s attempting to get here.

BTW the same thing will eventually happen with Mexico. Eventually he’ll get some money out of Mexico, and Mexico will act like it’s for A. and President Trump will act like it’s for the Wall.

For one, any other GOP president would have caved a thousand times before now and begged to be liked by the drive-by media and Hollywood. This man has stood strong and weathered abuse in a way that I literally thought was impossible. He is with us, through and through.

Next, I thought back to all the lies we’ve been told over the last few months. How many times was Jeff Sessions supposed to have quit/been fired by now? How about when “buzz” was that Trump wouldn’t pull us out of TPP, or then Paris? Take your pick of a thousand examples, they’re all lies meant to discourage us and drive a wedge between PDJT and us

Sure, I’ll feel a lot better when we’re putting the final coat of paint on the “Friendship Wall” running the length of the Mexican border, but this guy has taken more punishment and abuse for us than all the “conservative leaders” of the last 29 years, combined. It seems odd to me that he’s letting Pelosi and the MSM run with the narrative that he’s giving them everything. Frightening at first, but then confusing. Surely he knows that course would ruin him and us. Why the silence in the face of their lies? I would have thought he’d would have gone nuclear right away. Instead, he’s kind of letting them run with it. I have no evidence of this, but I have to wonder if he’s not just giving them rope to hang themselves with. I don’t understand why, but in the face of my other expectations, it’s the only thing that makes sense.

He has withstood so much savagery, it would make no sense for him to do what they claim he’s doing. He hasn’t let us down yet, and it would have been easy to do so. My question was, what reason do we have to believe that congress will advance Trump’s agenda? I don’t think it is negative to conclude that there is no substantive or metaphysical reason. Most of us know, and many more have now seen (better than ever in recent months) who these people really are. We are engaged in a war — most of it covert but all very vicious and thoroughgoing — and the will to defeat and remove Trump is very strong and unrelenting.

Because illegals ALWAYS come before actual citizens and especially natural born one.

He did lie. He said he would end DACA immediately. 10 months plus 6 months – now we are up to a year and a half – while he says he hopes congress will write a law to accommodate the “Dreamers”.

After President Trump deports the ones who gets weeded out, we’ll be talking about half a million people that everyone has their panties in a twist over because they listen to Mike Cernovich more than they listen to Sarah Sanders.

I see quite a bit of negative posts tonight. Some may be sincere, although misguided but I think the majority are intentional agitators. Now think about this, did you EVER this this level of negativity directed towards Obama, HilLIARy, Holder and Lynch? I never saw it.

Where were these critics when Obama let the BP oil spill go on and on without doing a thing to stop it? Where were these critics when Obama did NOTHING for the flood victims of TN or LA? Where were these critics when Holder was arming the drug cartels? Where were these critics when Holder was not upholding the law for certain races or classes of people? Throughout the entire campaign, I never saw these critics criticize HilLIARy but I did see constant criticism of Candidate Trump.

So, I view these opinions, if that’s what they are, as misinformed, misguided or downright intentional provocation. Thus, I skip over them to get to real useful information. I’ve been scrolling a lot this evening and also on the Press Conference comments.

Freedom of speech also includes Freedom to NOT LISTEN or READ. With such an incredible amount of accomplishment that President Trump and his team has completed up to this point with both parties and some of the black robed criminals trying to block his every move to MAGA, it is really short sighted for all this micro-criticism from information that cannot be validated.

President Trump will eventually do everything he said. How he gets there may be confusing but the end result will be exactly what he said. I have never seen a politician fulfill 1/100th of what they promised and they promise very little while campaigning. President Trump promised a great many specific things and is doing EVERYTHING he said he would. Unfortunately, you cannot flip a switch and instantly make things happen. I’m tellin’ ya, these bastards are really aiming to primary Trump with Ted Cruz (or some other douchebag just like him) in 2020. They try to lay the groundwork every chance they get. We need to mount a fierce counter attack every time they even think about rearing their ugly heads.

The character of the Cruzbot is amazing.

They are literally kicking Trump supporters when he is down.

They aren’t criticizing Trump himself. Nor his advisors. Nor the traitorous GOP congress. Nor Jared and Ivanka. Nor the hostile billionaires.

No, the Cruzbot trains their fire on Trump supporters, even though “muh Constitution” will never win an electorate made of Third World demographics.

After watching Cruz on Hannity tonight, my husband speculated that he thought Cruz was going to try to run in 2020.

I will be thoroughly disgusted with any GOPer trying to primary our President on his second term. There will be hell to pay if the RNC tried to do this B.S. Has anyone ever heard of an incumbent challenger for the executive office?

Lyin’ Ted would sell us all out so quick it would make our heads swim.

No incumbent President has ever been defeated in their party’s primary. All incumbent Presidents that received a strong primary challenge were defeated in the general election by the other party (1976, 1980, 1992)

If Trump signs an amnesty bill. I will not vote for him. I will devote my political activism towards a divorce of the country.

Liberals sick of the alt-left are taking ‘the red pill’
    http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2017/09/13/liberals-sick-alt-left-are-taking-red-pill.html

    Excerpt:

The mainstream media failed to see the rise of Donald Trump in 2016. Now it’s overlooking another grassroots movement that may soon be of equal significance— the growing number of liberals “taking the red pill.” People of all ages and ethnicities are posting YouTube videos describing “red pill moments”—personal awakenings that have caused them to reject leftist narratives imbibed since childhood from friends, teachers, and the news and entertainment media.

Some interesting thoughts by Sabastian Gorka on many aspects. He thinks Trump will eventually get rid of non-MAGA WH support staff, thinks firing Comey was a good idea, said Jared Kushner is “not there to
undermine the MAGA base, to attack Steve Bannon or to do anything else nefarious”. He gave some compliments on Jared. Said Trump meeting with Schumer and Pelosi is to send message to McConnell and Ryan.

I think Nan and Chucky started talking about Amnesty and the President nodded, then turned to the server and asked for a second scope of ice cream. In their little minds it was a “deal”.

Just to illustrate how negative the news is now. DrudgeReport.com used to be my ‘go to’ for news… then I realized just how much they were manipulating me with the news they present. Here’s a current sample of their headlines.

It’s astonishing to watch people losing their minds over lies, saying they withdraw support, that we might as well have elected Hilary, yet there’s all kinds of stupidity, like the various treaties and executive orders rescinded that have been repealed, plus Gorsuch and a slew of other great judges. You think he’s no different than any Dem??? Just wow. We deserve our ‘stupid party’ label.

Commentary: Don’t buy into all of that rosy PR about DACA by Mickey Kaus

FTA: “…Likewise, we’re told DACA recipients are college-bound high school grads or military personnel. That’s an exaggeration. All that’s actually required is that the person enroll in a high school course or an “alternative,” including online courses and English-as-a-second-language classes. Under Obama’s now-suspended program, you didn’t even have to stay enrolled.

Compared with the general population, DACA recipients are not especially highly skilled. A recent survey for several pro-”Dreamer” groups, with participants recruited by those groups, found that while most DACA recipients are not in school, the vast majority work. But their median hourly wage is only $15.34, meaning that many are competing with hard-pressed lower-skilled Americans.

The DACA recipients you read about have typically been carefully selected for their appeal. They’re valedictorians. They’re first responders. They’re curing diseases. They root for the Yankees. They want to serve in the Army. If DACA recipients are the poster children for the much larger population of immigrants in the country illegally, these are the poster children for the poster children…

So why not show compassion and legalize them? Because, as is often the case, the pursuit of pure compassion comes with harmful side effects…”

I’m pretty sure it’s been like this the whole time. They say whenever they open new charter schools that black families camp out on the sidewalk hoping to get their kid in. Young black kid goes to a ghetto school, they don’t learn crap, might drop out, and might end up in poverty for the rest of their life. Put the same kid in a charter school and he’s almost guaranteed a successful life. Might be the biggest issue facing our country right now.
