i would like to point out that I called BS on the diagnosis the day it was announced. It effectively took the heat off him for being responsible for preventing repeal and replace.

McCain was never ill. These people will do and say anything.

The House has approved a resolution condemning white supremacists, neo-Nazis and other hate groups following a white-nationalist rally in Virginia that descended into deadly violence.

Lawmakers backed the measure by voice vote Tuesday. It now goes to President Donald Trump, who has been criticized for his response to the August incident.

The resolution describes Heather Heyer’s death in Charlottesville as a “domestic terrorist attack” and acknowledges two Virginia state troopers who died in a helicopter crash while monitoring the protests.

The resolution urges Trump and his administration to speak out against hate groups that espouse racism, extremism, xenophobia, anti-Semitism and white supremacy. It also calls on federal agencies to “use all resources available” to “address the growing prevalence of those hate groups in the United States.”

The House and Senate both very busy today….

The Senate has approved a resolution condemning white supremacists, neo-Nazis and other hate groups following a white-nationalist rally in Virginia that descended into deadly violence.

Democratic Sens. Mark Warner and Tim Kaine of Virginia introduced the measure along with four colleagues from both parties. The resolution, approved unanimously Monday night, recognizes a woman who was killed and 19 other people who were injured Aug. 12 after a car allegedly driven by a neo-Nazi slammed into a crowd of demonstrators protesting the rally in Charlottesville.

The resolution describes Heather Heyer’s death as a “domestic terrorist attack” and acknowledges two Virginia state troopers who died in a helicopter crash while monitoring the protests.

BTW, congress was also busy making lobbyists happy with passing some bill for driverless cars, overriding states rights for regulations. Business as usual. As Dobbs said this evening “the swamp is alive and well, no sign of draining”

      Truly amazing and Orwellian.
In addition to wasting time, it ignores the fact that the “white supremacists” were attacked by the antifa while expressing their first amendment rights.

And my speculation as to why we haven’t heard a word about the car driver, is that he doesn’t fit their narrative, and there is sufficient video showing his car being attacked prior to the incident.

If the house wanted to do a “feel good” condemnation, it should have included all hate groups in their condemnation and not have been racist in targeting only one race of haters.

This is a trap. What, exactly, IS a “hate”‘group? What does it do that needs to be legislated? The US
Constitution specifically protects our right to peaceable assembly, as well as our right to freedom of speech.

Lately, everyone whom we disagree with is labeled a “hater.” And every peaceable rally is turned violent, not by the original demonstrators, but by those who inexplicably attack the rally goers while screaming “hate!”

It’s more cultural Marxist crap. We already have laws against violence. No new laws are needed to stop people simply because we don’t like what they say. Unconstitutional.

It seems like PTrump just needs a wad of money to proceed for even more, much more, wall construction – he already has the authority to deter illegal crossings in areas of high illegal entry.

Section 102(a) of IIRIRA provides that the Secretary of Homeland Security shall take such actions as may be necessary to install additional physical barriers and roads in the vicinity of the United States border to deter illegal crossings in areas of high illegal entry into the United States. In section 102(b) of IIRIRA, Congress has called for the installation of additional fencing, barriers, roads, lighting, cameras, and sensors on the southwest border. Finally, in section 102(c) of IIRIRA, Congress granted to the Secretary of Homeland Security the authority to waive all legal requirements that the Secretary, in his sole discretion, determines necessary to ensure the expeditious construction of the barriers and roads authorized by section 102 of IIRIRA.

I have been guaranteeing the Repeal and Replace of Obamacare since the House passed their bill. Treepers should remind me of the definition of insanity because I would be the poster boy for it!

Suspicious Cat 🐱 is wondering if our Lion 🦁 is not only discussing Tax Reform with Manchin, Heitkamp and Donnelly this evening. Crazy 😜 Bernie is rolling out his Single Payer Bill tomorrow. He has the backing of some of his Morons in Arms pushing it (Corey Booker, Kamala Harris, Pocahontas and Kirsten Gillibrand). Even the NYTs decided to write an article saying this could be a disaster for the Democrats in Fly Over Country.

Could our President be using this evening to get the 3 Democrat Senators who would see their states benefit massively if they went along with the Graham/Cassidy/Heller Bill to see the light and step up for their citizens?

Even the Clinton News Network had to write an article about the bill 40 minutes ago!

    http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/12/politics/obamacare-repeal-efforts-congress/index.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+rss%2Fcnn_latest+%28RSS%3A+CNN+-+Most+Recent%29

    From the article linked above:

Republicans have been searching for eight months now to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. That effort effectively died on the floor of the Senate in July when the party couldn’t get 51 votes do little more than punt the serious health care policy questions to a conference committee.

Graham and Cassidy are expected to unveil Wednesday their latest proposal to overhaul health care, but rank-and-file members aren’t sounding too optimistic. Timing is a big reason.

“We are in the fourth quarter with about 30 seconds left,” said Sen. Tim Scott, a Republican from South Carolina who added that the bill was the last “bullet left in the chamber.”

Sen. Roy Blunt, a member of the GOP’s leadership, told CNN that “there doesn’t seem to be a clear path to 50, but I think there is a possible path to 50 if both governors … and the President got behind it.”

Senator Orrin Hatch who stated yesterday that there was zero chance that the Graham/Cassidy/Heller Bill would be voted on let alone passed must of been pretty angry with the Governor of Utah who is ALL IN with the bill!

      http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/09/11/exclusive-utah-gov-gary-herbert-obamacare-block-grant-repeal-vast-improvement-over-the-affordable-care-act/

      From the article linked above:

Utah Republican Governor Gary Herbert told Breitbart News in an exclusive statement that he supports the Graham-Cassidy plan to repeal and replace Obamacare through block grants.

The governor contends that its state-based policies have largely been responsible for its state’s lower health care costs. Block granting health care to Utah could allow the state to experience lower health care costs and increased health insurance coverage, while lowering state expenditures on federal health programs.

The governor’s endorsement of the Graham-Cassidy plan will put significant pressure on Utah’s two Republican senators, Mike Lee and Orrin Hatch, to back the bill. Sen. Lee will continue to push the bill to include increased flexibility for states to implement their own state plans free of Obamacare insurance regulations. Sen. Hatch, the Senate Finance Committee chairman, could lobby the Senate leadership to consider the bill.

Herbert concluded, “Returning control to the states through Graham-Cassidy is both prudent policy and prudent politics.”

Politico is getting nervous as well because the bipartisan plan to make sure the CSR payments continue for two years seems to be dying a slow death 💀! Republican Lamar Alexander from TN thought he could work with Democrat Patty Murray from WA on a bailout bill that would pass easily in the Senate and House.

Democrats are starting to get really scared because the Devil may actually throw his floor statements right out the window. I guess they may learn the very hard lesson of what happens when you make a deal 🤝 and celebrate 🎉 that deal with the DEVIL on the Senate Floor. You may get BURNED!

        http://www.politico.com/story/2017/09/12/congress-obamacare-republicans-funding-242620

        From the article linked above:

Republicans are paralyzed over what to do about health care, caught between a bipartisan effort to shore up Obamacare and the opportunity to take one last swing at their years-long promise to repeal the law.

The problem for McConnell is that the alternative doesn’t seem to be taking off either.

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) is trying to work with Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) on a bill to shore up the insurance markets, but the two health committee leaders are already at odds over including looser regulations with the package. Without regulatory reform, many Republicans argue, the bill amounts to a giveaway to the insurance industry.

“All I see so far are suggestions for further bailouts of insurance companies and no real reform,” said Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn (R-Texas). He said it “may be” better to do nothing at all.

So far, Alexander is looking at a bill that would fund Obamacare’s cost-sharing program for two years, allow for people to buy “catastrophic” health care plans that were restricted under Obamacare and make changes to a state waiver program. The waivers, dubbed 1332s, have proven to be the most controversial element, as Democrats say the changes shouldn’t eliminate consumer protections and Republicans say structural changes are needed to reduce costs in the health system.

McConnell on Tuesday refused to rule out votes on either a repeal or a fix of Obamacare, wary of picking sides among his caucus and aware that both proposals divide the Senate GOP.

Cassidy, Graham and two other senators will begin a final push for their block grant approach at a Wednesday news conference. Senators say their voters are sick of hearing excuses and need to see some action.

Cruz, Graham, Cassidy and their allies are trying to change that narrative, and they believe that stated interest by Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) — who with Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) killed the GOP’s “skinny” bill — could help get them to 50 votes. They also see an opening on the calendar: The Senate is likely to have a window for another repeal vote at the end of month, once the chamber passes the defense bill it is currently debating.

But some Democrats are skeptical that McCain, who opposed the previous bill in part because it was rushed to the floor, could back Graham-Cassidy, which is being introduced less than three weeks before the deadline for passage.

“Anybody that said that they want regular order can’t vote for a bill when regular order is literally playing out before your eyes,” Sen. Chris Murphy said of the health committee’s process. “How on earth do you short circuit a bill and undercut Lamar Alexander?”

“It’s not done. It’s still a live round out there,” said Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.). “It’s pretty slim, but there’s a chance.”

“We need cost-sharing. We need it soon,” Schumer said. “Sens. Alexander and Murray are working on a compromise proposal, which we hope will be ready very soon. And we can move that, not some effort to repeal.”

“* Florida needs to do more to counter the state’s vulnerability to gasoline shortages when millions of people hit the road to evacuate and millions more try to top off their tanks in the uncertain days before a big storm. Irma exacerbated the shortages by forcing the shutdown of the state’s ports, where fuel arrives on barges.”

    *****THIS SHOULD BE DONE*****

“But more permanent, pro-active measures can be put in place for the future. The U.S. Department of Energy created a gasoline reserve for the Northeast after Superstorm Sandy caused shortages in New York and New Jersey in 2012. U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, a Florida Democrat, has called for the department to create a similar reserve here. The idea makes more sense for Florida, given our state’s higher vulnerability to hurricanes.”

    * Floridians will remain at risk of prolonged power outages as long as they are served by overhead power lines. Millions of them lost electricity in the storm; nearly 1 million in Central Florida alone were still in the dark Tuesday. Utilities have mounted an operation unprecedented in scale to restore power, but some people could be waiting for weeks.

Winter Park, a community known for its tree canopy, is about halfway through an effort that began more than a decade ago to bury its power lines. A much smaller percentage of the customers of its city-owned utility lost electricity in the storm. Taxpayers in other communities might rule out the idea because of the money it takes to relocate lines underground — until they go days without air conditioning at home.

Luther Strange is dying a slow and painful death! All the talk about the Democrat winning in December is complete nonsense. Even PPD states so. Please keep in mind they predicted our President winning PA and MI days before the election. They also show how biased the polls are about our President’s approval rating both nationally and in individual states.

      https://www.peoplespunditdaily.com/polls/2017/09/12/alabama-senate-polls-roy-moore-luther-strange-maga-vote/

      From the article linked above:

President Donald Trump may have endorsed Luther Strange in the runoff, but Roy Moore is getting the lion’s share of his base in two new Alabama Senate polls. The two men advanced to the runoff on September 26 to replace Attorney General Jeff Sessions in the U.S. Senate after the first round of voting.

As our county-by-county post-election analysis explained, private polling data conducted by PPD a week before indicated that nearly two-thirds of voters who planned to back Rep. Mo Brooks would vote for Judge Moore against Sen. Strange in the runoff. Given we underestimated the judge by several points, it is entirely possible some of those voters already made that strategic voting decision.

ALL THEY DO IS LIE LIKE CRAZY IN THESE BS POLLS! THE DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE BS’s POLL AND PPD IS ASTRONOMICAL (SEE BELOW)!

However, the Emerson Poll found voters in Alabama gave President Trump a 52% job approval and 36% disapproval rating, significantly lower than the PPD Big Data Poll (68%) and the 82% a new Strategic National Poll found have a favorable view of him.

The eventual winner will go on to face Democrat Doug Jones, the Establishment favorite who beat Robert Kennedy, Jr. While there has been some chatter, mainly from a liberal media hoping Judge Moore is too conservative for Alabama, we find that assertion ludicrous. This race is rated Safe Republican on the PPD Senate Election Projection Model.

Torres and Owens are concerned another attack like the one in Benghazi could happen again because the same State Department employees responsible for the Benghazi contract remain in place and the contracting rules are outdated.

TW’s ENTIRE STRING: (1) I live in LA. ICE is rounding up people like you wouldn’t believe. (2) California cops have been ordered to not cooperate with the feds. (3) Jerry Brown thought this was really clever. Well, guess what happened? (4) The feds still have to look for wanted criminals. In doing so, they check the identifications of everyone in the house. (5) All illegals are then deported. They go next door and do the same. (6) People don’t understand what it means to be illegal here. You do EVERYTHING illegally. It’s hard to create a life. (7) The people being deported are losing everything. So they’re now SELF-DEPORTING. (8) As always, Trump did everything under the radar. He had you all looking at the wall, while he was ACTUALLY doing something better. (9) The wall would’ve meant nothing without consequences. What we’re seeing is stealth mass deportations. (10) My neighbors [are] illegals. A few days ago a process server came looking [for] them. (11) Their cars are being repossessed, and they’ve taken down the tents they’d used to temporarily house OTHER illegals. (12) The wall was strategic deception. Yes, Trump means to build it. (13) But day by day, it’s becoming less necessary, due to the aggressive enforcement of existing laws.

**Security Contractor Says He Was Silenced By Clinton State Department On Benghazi**
In the days following the September 2012 terrorist attack on the Benghazi embassy in Libya, the Clinton State Department and Obama White House launched an all-out media propaganda blitz designed to convince Americans that the whole thing had been sparked by an ‘insensitive’ YouTube video that Muslims in Libya apparently found offensive. As you’ll undoubtedly recall, Susan Rice became the face of that propaganda blitz after appearing on every major TV network to blatantly lie to the American public.
