I believe Senator Scott (R-S.C.) attended the Sea Island Ga. Economic Conference in 2016. It was a meeting of political people and executives of globalist corporations and Wall Street bankers.
President Trump is an advocate of the America First policy, not a globalist policy represented by the Sea Island attendees. Remember Sundance says there are trillions of dollars at stake and the Globalists are calling in their chips. That is why the bought politicians and propaganda media are doing everything they can to discredit our President Trump.

Took our dogs to the groomer today. Hang on – there is an appropriateness to this post on the Presidential Thread.

We have two small rescue dogs- one has only 4 teeth and the other has only one eye.
The dog-with-one-eye’s grooming includes a cut that allows his face fur to fall over the missing eye socket.

(Because people used to stop to admire him – then gasp! and say, “He only has one eye!” I always wanted to act shocked and then say, “What?!?!?!? He had both of them when we left the house!!!)

Anyway, people have said he looks like Donald Trump due to the comb-over. The groomer does a pretty good job with this concealment effort and I appreciate it.

But, today, the groomer said, “How is Trump and Pence?” as he came to get our boys.

Then he looked at me and suddenly and sincerely and seriously said, “I wouldn’t care if Trump and Pence died in a plane wreck. I wish they would.”

I was laughing about my dogs trying to escape the building when he made this remark. But then, I started to laugh at him. It was a nervous reflex that surprised me. I didn’t say anything. I was so shocked that I was speechless.

What is wrong with people? Where does this vile hatred come from? I need to find a new groomer and I hate that. This guy is good and he is good to the dogs.

I do not have any appreciation of the Presidency of Barack Obama. But, I have never wished him dead. I have wished I will see him get his “come-uppance.”

I have a Breitbart T-shirt and wear it now and then around LA/Hollywood. I get all sorts of strange reactions. When someone says something ugly or otherwise shows animus (which happened last weekend with a woman who operates a street corner flea market), I have a typical response. I stay calm and say that I knew Andrew (not entirely true, but I did meet him at a film festival) and that he was a lovely human being. I have a friend who is a leftist and who did indeed know him very well, and she can’t stop raving about what a wonderful man he was. So I use this as the basis of my response. I say that he was a true liberal —
generous, kind, funny and openminded, a friend to all people. This stops them in their tracks. The gears in their minds grind and screech at the word “liberal,” and they really don’t know what to say. I think when we encounter personal hostility and ignorance it helps to respond in such a way, sort of obliquely, with humanizing words. Of course I know it is not always easy. When Trump comes up in conversations among leftists I keep it simple and say that I think he is a “good man who loves his country and wants us all to succeed.” Most leftists no matter how smart are incredibly ignorant about politics and lap up the MSM propaganda and regurgitate it. There is no point in arguing. Just say something heartfelt and simple and true and move on.

USS Fitzgerald initial discipline after investigation results. Many sailors to be disciplined.

“According to a copy of Captain Ronald Advincula’s report to Japanese ship owner Dainichi Investment Corporation, the vessel had signaled with flashing lights after the warship “suddenly” steamed on to a course to cross its path.

Admiral Bill Moran, the vice chief of naval operations, said on Thursday the USS Fitzgerald’s commanding officer, executive officer and senior enlisted sailor are among those to be disciplined.

“The vessel attempted to get out of the path of the Fitzgerald, but hit it about 10 minutes later at 1:30 a.m., according to the report.

“Moran said the disciplinary moves are all “initial accountability actions,” which means the sailors could face more punishments depending on the outcome of different ongoing investigations.

“I’m not telling they will or they won’t. It’s just we are not done with the investigation,” Moran said.

What was one of the topics Putin and Trump spoke about when they met in Hamburg?
    Terrorism.

Russia wants to put together an International Group to work concertedly against Terror.
The US Congress has prevented Trump from working with Putin.

The two top Intel nations who are coordinating military conflict resolution and de-escalation zones in Syria cannot get together to stop the insane attacks on innocent people because of Russophobia and neocon psychosis.

The President has to take control of the Presidency and lead the USA properly in this global fight against ISIS and AQ.

He should call the top nations who have the Intel agencies capable to join Russia and the US to a summit and get to work on defeating ISIS and AQ.

        Let’s see Congress attack that.

So, from “Ground Zero” here in Charlottesville, two new developments:
First, the Democrat (and not very successful) former local DA has been appointed to represent James Fields. The original attorney, Charles Weber, was removed. I am assuming this was due to “conflict of interest” for Mr. Weber since he represents The Monument Fund, the group that got the federal judge to rule IN FAVOR of an injunction to stop the General Robert E. Lee statue from Lee Park.
Second, the “so-called elected” Mayor of Charlottesville, Mike Signer, who made an EPIC ASS out of himself over this entire disaster AND may have had a hand in instigating and/or condoning it through his ex-CIA Deep State assistant (first name Brennan, can’t recall the last name), is going to make a “significant announcement” tomorrow, Friday, about the General Lee statue and about the late Heather Heyer. Look for Signer to most likely “pronounce” that the General Lee statue will be removed forthwith, in direct violation of Virginia law AND in direct violation of the injunction. He also may state that the city is going after an emergency appeal of the injunction.

That deal was legal. The surrounding “graft” has to be proven.

Also, there is a logic in uranium going to Russia. Russia builds fuel rods for nuclear power plants. US barely does that any longer. Thus, fuel rods come back from the uranium they get. They don’t use it for weapons. Most of nukes depend on plutonium at the core or pit. Uranium is only a part of some nuclear warheads.

The Russians have huge fuel rod business globally and have supplied them to the US industry for over a decade.

Bill Clinton was right when he said, “It’s the economy stupid.”. As much as I enjoy Trump TV, people will only remember the good that affects their everyday lives. A better house, secure employment, a steak dinner, some new furniture, a new car. That’s what matters. Our President is working hard to make this happen. Let’s enjoy the ride.

Wow. Two against one. I really admire Brunell’s ability to keep it together here.

Hillary started the whole Birther thing during the ’08 election – or popularized the notion anyway, made it a national issue. It was started by his (black) Chicago opponent before that. Sh*t, every DEM voter knows that from that contentious Obama vs. Hillary Primary.

Disgusting to try to pin that on Trump. Unbelievable that these 2 insist on Changing History- or maybe not unbelievable.

Who *is* this CNN b*tch? What a train wreck liar she is.

Hope CNN’s ratings have gone even lower than they were a couple months ago. They are definitely itching for a Race War. Take ’em out God, take ’em out.

War Crimes Against Southern Civilians by Walter Brian Cisco, 4*rating

The horrific attack on southern civilians even those who supported the union is what ended the Civil War. Never forget.

    http://www.curledup.com/warcrime.htm

Most people know about the atrocities committed by General William Tecumseh Sherman’s army in his March to the Sea in Geor

ities committed against civilians by Federal soldiers in his book about Civil War-era war crimes.</

    General E Lee

"Some in the Confederate Army wanted to repay the North for the atrocities committed against their civilians, but General Robert E. Lee would not allow it. He wanted his soldiers to remain civilized and not lower themselves to barbaric atrocities…. The North’s revised method of warfare attacking civilians did work and ended the Civil War sooner, but the atrocities remained in the minds and history of Southerners for long after. Reconstruction after the war did nothing to relieve many of these memories."

This was WRONG when Obama did it to us (including yours truly).
How is this ok now that Jeff Sessions is Attorney General?

“On 17th July, the District of Colombia court issued a search warrant (Pdf) for DreamHost, a web-hosting services provider, for the provision of every single piece of information it had related to the website from where coordinated protests were recorded.”

“The warrant also made it obligatory for DreamHost to provide the exact date and time of visit and the browser and operating system that was used to access the website. The information required includes IP addresses, emails, website owner’s physical address, message submitting information, contact, content, and photos of millions of people.”

  32. No more Walmart for me. I just read this on their home page and sent an email to them that President Trump did denounce white supremacists groups. I don’t think President Trump could have made it any clearer.

“”As we watched the events and the response from President Trump over the weekend, we too felt that he missed a critical opportunity to help bring our country together by unequivocally rejecting the appalling actions of white supremacists. His remarks today were a step in the right direction and we need that clarity and consistency in the future.”

The European Man (And Woman) on the Street: “We Don’t Want Them Here Anymore”

The two videos [below] feature man-in-the street interviews about immigration to Europe. Despite their different settings, the opinions of the citizens interviewed are very much the same.

The first interview is from Germany.
The second video is from Ventimiglia, the Italian town on the border with France. Refugees have been backing up there for five years or more, since before the Great Migration Crisis of 2015.

    Both subtitled, plus transcripts:
