FBI is apparently investigating an alleged multi-million $$$ bank fraud scheme conducted by Bernie’s wife, Jane, while she was president of the now-defunct Burlington College.

She secured a $6.5 million loan for a land purchase by the college, by claiming that she had secured $2.6 million in promised donations towards the purchase. Only $676,000 of the donation money ever materialized, and the college defaulted on the loan, going bankrupt in May 2016.

    Isn’t socialism just WONDERFUL? #feelthebern

Imagine all you can do after graduation after taking courses on Trump’s “xenophobia”. Give me a break. You could even get a guaranteed stipend from Soros for wearing a mask and cowardly attacking Trump supporters.

Would it be worth it after the beatdowns? Or having to pay CA taxes, because anywhere else in the country you could get shot, not just beaten, for pulling that nonsense.

out here we have institutes of “higher learning” which give degrees in ethnic studies, and women’s studies. Imagine the job market.
Will take a while to pay off loans at the wages/jobs available to these “graduates”.

That was a huge dig at Big Bird, and tangentially Price Andrew. A political shot as well as they are Sanctuary Cities, I bet Bedminster isn’t. A dig at their tax rates, and how that deductibility goes away if President Trump gets his new tax plan as is. Or Big Bird and Price Andrew could play nicey-nicey and give up all their sanctuary cities and get their deductibility back. Funny how haven’t read the book yet, I get where this is going, I will order it soon…

In a remarkable exchange Wednesday between Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Comey during a Senate hearing, more questions were raised about the bureau’s relationship with the former British officer who wrote the dossier, Christopher Steele, and his British company Orbis — and its relationship to Washington, D.C.-based Fusion GPS.

Comey said that “I know the name” and “I can’t say” when Graham pressed if Fusion GPS is part of the Russian intelligence apparatus.

And when Graham asked if he agreed it “would be interfering in our election by the Russians” if Fusion were involved in preparing the anti-Trump dossier, Comey replied, “I don’t want to say.”

Inside the packed hearing room, the committee’s chairman Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, was visibly irritated at the lack of response by the director of the FBI. For months, Grassley has highlighted the bureau’s failure to meet deadlines and respond to his questions, calling it in a recent letter a “pattern of obstruction” on matters related to Steele.

I’ve not yet joined in the chorus of people who’ve demanded that Trump fire someone he hired or acted to retain (everyone from Jared and Ivanka to Priebus and Pence…) but I’m tempted to in this case.

I’m out for a few hours, I think. My new data provider throttled my rate (rather than charging me an extra 15 bucks) for going over my limit at about noon today. Of course, the timing’s pretty good since the billing cycle ends 2AM tonight ET. Not unhappy, and I decided to download (over several hours) a bunch of system updates (I don’t care how fast those load, honestly, and they don’t chew up my fast data allowance that way).

    MAGA on, Good Treepers!

The Hillsdale College publication, IMPRIMIS, featured an article on Vladmir Putin by Chistopher Caldwell in its March issue that clarifies how this president differs from previous Russian leadership. The publication is free for the asking, but the content is also on-line at:

rashamon…don’t forget to mention that Hillsdale is one of only two, I believe, colleges in USA who do not receive Federal Aid, i.e., they do what they wish to do.
The other, I think but do not know, is St. John’s in Maryland, which has a Classical curriculum.

You won’t see this in Fake News MSM or Nevertrump world…

Not sure how Republican Handle leading in Georgia-6 by 49.1% to 46.5% over snowflake Ossoff is a slight lead after he has been given the star treatment, but I really know…Democrats write the stories

ATLANTA – A new WSB-TV, Landmark Communications poll shows Republican Karen Handel and Democrat Jon Ossoff are neck-and-neck in the tightly contested 6th Congressional District race.

The new poll of 611 likely voters shows Handel with 49.1 percent of the vote and Ossoff with 46.5 percent.

But with 4.4 percent undecided and a margin of error of 4 percent, the race is still very close.

Landmark Communications President Mark Rountree says this shows Handel may be consolidating Republicans around her campaign.

“There were more Republicans that actually voted, or more people who voted Republican I should say, and they’re now getting behind Handel in bigger numbers. And she has now taken the lead in the race. It’s a small lead, but she has taken a small lead,” Rountree said.

A judge has ruled that they extend voter registration to May 21st.
This very likely translates to many new people registering that don’t
actually LIVE in the 6th district. It’s imperative that Handel voters
show up in swarms for this race. From the yard signs I’m seeing
around Decatur, Emory, and Tucker the SJW crowd’s motivated.

Is anyone else tired of colleges and universities increasingly becoming the propaganda arms for the far, far-left and the #NeverTrump campaign? Indiana’s Butler U. is simply embarrassing itself by taking such an extreme position on this President.

As the article concludes, “The irony of the Left’s view, especially on college campuses, is that liberals claim to love ‘diversity’ and free expression, but they work tirelessly to stifle the diversity they disagree with. Religious students are bigots, so they don’t deserve a voice. White students are privileged, so they should be silenced. And Trump supporters? They’re barely human! Why should their hateful rhetoric be allowed on campus?”

Black patriots protect New Orleans Civil War Monument from white Antifa Fascists.

Love this stuff. Really drives the Libs nuts.Saw it myself when a couple black college students drove into my neighborhood in a pick-up with a HUGE Confederate flag flying from the back of their truck.

They jumped out of the truck and went into the pool to meet their friends for a dip.

Dem neighbors showed up then and started yelling and screaming about “whoever was driving around with the Confederate Flag” . I started laughing and said “ahhhh, it’s a couple of black college kids, not everybody sees that flag as racist ya know”.

    They were Dumb.Struck.
