Can you imagine if the media in existence during WW2 operated like the media we have today? We’d all be speaking either German or Japanese. Back then at least a handful of them were patriots.

The media today demands to know the President’s military strategy. They want to know details about ship and troop movements. If he doesn’t lay out the strategy for them, then they report he must not have a strategy and is making it up as he goes along.

They are truly a pathetic bunch!

    • Drug screens take time. You would have to provide bathrooms, testing kits, sample cups, and have people trained and certified to read the tests. It all costs money. The “instant” test kits legally require a lab-processed urinalysis for confirmation if they show positive. How would you verify for the millions of patients legitimately using opioids for bad backs, or during cancer treatments? You want poll workers to have to be calling doctors before allowing people to vote???
      Just stick to the ID.

I was on FB to check the reaction to Palin being at the White House with her friends. Lots of pearl clutching about how Nuggent threatened Clinton and Obama. Also that Sarah was the last person that should be in the White House. Just absolutely ridiculous.

I find it amazing they are also still commenting on the Easter Egg Roll not having enough people of color. That DC school children should have been invited, etc., etc. It was a lottery people! If parents wanted their kids to have a chance to go then enter the lottery! Before Obama you had to wait in line a couple of days before the event to get tickets, which gave an enormous advantage to local people. I actually think that would be good because if you live in DC you have to put up with a lot and a few perks would be nice.

Pam I hate to say it but after reading it WOW is an understatement. This is beyond crazy and not only should he be killed but the 5 mothers that molested their kids to send him the photos should be killed as well!

      From the article:

At sentencing, the government presented evidence that at least five women complied with Randazzo’s solicitations and sexually abused children in order to satisfy his sexual desires. Randazzo’s victims ranged in age from a few months to eight years old, and he traveled out of state to watch two of them be molested in person. Randazzo arranged to have the 8-year-old victim drugged so that he would not remember the abuse.

Non-compete clause in his contract?? HHmmmm… Interesting question. Definately means he can’t file for Unemployment Insurance. Darn…

        • TatonkaWoman says:

Certainly a non-compete clause is in effect if you yourself decide to leave the job (as I believe Megan Kelly did)…but it is pretty lame if it applies in a case when you are fired. That is a pretty neat deal for the employer. They can get rid of you, and keep you from doing anything anywhere else, too.

Also, I agree with Gil. OOAN could use some better talent. It is a network already up and running, and with a more conservative leaning. So how about bringing in Fox (and other) conservative talent, and rebuilding as the strongest conservative news and commentary source out there? Lord knows there is a supportive audience waiting at the gates.

        • MaineCoon says:

Following up, “Many employees think that, just because an employer forced them to sign the agreement or be fired, that they are not bound by a non-compete agreement. That’s just not true. Continued employment is valid consideration for a non-compete agreement in some states, and almost all will enforce some non-compete provisions.”

Lots more on it is the link. I’m guessing BOR has a Non-Compete Contractual Agreement; yet, Megyn left with no problems so who knows. Some non-competes can be successfully challenged depending on the state – not to say they aren’t valid but they can in rare instances be invalidated (based on someone I know doing it successfully years ago).

IMO when Fox fired BOR they also terminated his career.

He must have know this was coming down the pike and decided to go to Italy. Probably write a new book. Why come back and fight the msm?

Oh, I’m sure it’s every color of synthetic organic dye under the sun. Parents of kids with spurious behavior issues should keep them far away from this ungodly mess of chemicals, for sure. Too much chance that one of them is a troublemaker.

I once smelled some strawberry kid milk in one of those little juice boxes, and was horrified how much it smelled like undergraduate organic lab. I simply refused to drink it, and removed them from our foodstream.

We all have a different spectrum of sensitivities to chemicals, and need to be careful about what is “OK” and what is not. That includes both natural and synthetic organics. Many natural things are very bad for certain individuals, too. Nature is filled with plant, animal, and bacterial poisons.

♦ The number of NATO countries now fulfilling their defense spending obligations has increased from 3 to 5, with all nations agreeing to reach the compliant 2% GDP spending within 12 months.

♦ NATO and EU countries now emboldened to stand up to Russia.

♦ Russia has become more isolated and somehow, f**king incredibly, President Trump has cut the cord connecting Russia and China.

♦ China abstained, and did not veto, a U.N. Security Council resolution condemning Bashir Assad in Syria. Russia became isolated in their veto position and only Bolivia would concur.

♦ U.N. and international leadership praise Trump administration position of taking a hardline on chemical weapons attacks in Syria.

♦ Russian Vladimir Putin refused to meet Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, then abruptly did an about face after the G-7 meeting with T-Rex – because Russia’s influence was being further reduced and Putin felt threatened by diminishment.

♦ President Trump announces he will not label China as a currency manipulator. China has made no efforts to manipulate their currency since the Nov 8th, 2016, election.

♦ China turns back 12 North-Korean cargo ships laden with coal.

♦ China offsets N-Korean coal refusal with increased purchases of coking coal (steel-making) from the U.S.

♦ China halts direct air travel between Beijing and Pyongyang.

♦ China begins oil and fuel embargo of exports to North Korea.

♦ Stunningly, China announces their willingness to consider “Five Party Talks” about the denuclearization of North Korea without the government of Pyongyang at the table. (China, Russia, U.S., Japan and South Korea)

Hi georgiafl. Thank you for posting this. I weep for Italy.

Rome was once my favourite city in the world. After a decade not visiting Italy, I returned for a month in July, and was horrified by what I saw. The violent African invasion is real.
        * Stunning historical Roman buildings had graffiti.
        * In Napoli (Pompeii ruins + Mt Vesuvius) every single person warned me about theft by the Africans sleeping on the street beside the main station. Military flooded the area to discourage crime. Even the ATMs had huge signs warning users to beware of theft. It was exhausting + chilling remaining constantly on guard, as the place was swarming with Africans in new sneakers + earpiece, communicating with others, lining up their next pray. As a single, petite, well-dressed white lady, I was a key target.
        * Even in beautiful Florence, an African partnered with a local on crutches with one leg, tried stealing my luggage.

It was a disgrace. I also have close ties to Sweden, and once had companies in Germany.
Italy, Sweden, Germany + Greece are gone. I weep. The permanent destruction Leftist Marxists have inflicted on Europe is unforgivable, and has fundamentally adversely changed the continent, forever. So so sad.

Back home in Australia, I have zero interest in ever returning to Europe. It will only continue to degenerate.

I forgot to mention, even in Venice – right up in Italy’s north, 2 Africans had lined me up to roll me before I jumped on a bus. They followed me on, so I jumped back out last second to escape them, and went straight back to the hotel. Having criss-crossed Italy for a month, I couldn’t believe they’d infiltrated Italy up the entire country.

I left the next day to fly into Istanbul, Turkey, on about Day 5 of President Erdogan’s coup (late July 2016) and I actually felt safer there, than I did in Italy. Crazy, huh?

OK, so here is the plan to pay for the wall if Lying Ryan does not come around.

All cell phones are pretty much made in China and South Korea. So China and Korea impose a technology export tax on smart phones. They match the tax between countries. China and Korea donate the tax to pay for the wall. China and Korea are now helping with the defense of the USA. Boom!

Bonus value. Every democrat will now be making a contribution toward building the wall. Sure, there will be threats to go back to two cans and a string, but how many actually moved to Canada after threatening to do so?

    Liked by 4 people

    • This is an impressively smart, alternative way to pay for the project, assuming it was negotiable with China and South Korea. All the other suggestions I’ve read fail to take into account that we’re talking about $20 billion (so “bake sales” i.e. crowdfunding won’t do it), it could crater the Trump budget, US taxpayers would have plenty of objections, and that any Mexican politician who helped would be committing career suicide.

However, the rates of illegal crossings have gone way down, and the deportations are up. The mere impression that we are now consistently enforcing our already existing laws has produced exactly the effect the wall was intended for.
I wonder if we really need the big ol’ solid barrier.

Why not just use Berkeley’s Memorial Stadium for gladiatorial style battles between violent left wing thugs and Trump supporters that aren’t afraid to mix it up with them? We could sell admission to the beat-down and donate it to charity. Just have the leftists enter from one end and the Trump supporters from the other end and lock the gates behind them. Have police surround the field of battle to keep the combatants in and the spectators out. Let them go at it until one side surrenders.

Could North Korea Destroy the US?
    By Daniel John Sobieski

    [snip]
As both Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson have stated, the Clinton-Obama era of “strategic patience” with North Korea is over. The usual suspects in the mainstream media have been warning that Trump is provoking Pyongyang into war on the Korean peninsula. The counter is that the administration isn’t willing to wait till North Korea has the operational capability to nuke an American city like Seattle or Honolulu.

What is not being discussed is a much bigger and more imminent threat that makes action imperative, an existential one for the United States.

The nightmare scenario of an America sent back centuries in time before electricity, refrigeration, and smart phones has grown unnervingly closer with the presence of two North Korean satellites with orbits over a blissfully unaware American populace and an Obama administration that was indifferent to the apocalyptic threat of an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack.
