    • Faithful member of the basket of deplorable’s here and I am encouraged that Speaker Ryan’s bills does not have the votes to pass. We need to get as much in this first phase as possible because I have to agree with Senator Tom Cotton, phase 2 and 3 are pipe dreams. This bill was written by insurance companies and the C of C and does nothing to actually repeal obamacare and to reduce the cost of health insurance. I for one do not trust congress to come back and due phase 2 and 3 let alone pass it. I don’t want President Trump to look weak but this was a flawed bill from the get go.

Anyone who can’t trust the President and come together to pass the bill on to the Senate is playing right into the hands of Nancy Pelosi, her Liberal friends and the liberal media. The Freedom caucus may be safe in their gerrymandered districts if they get their way, but Senators and those Congressmen from states critical to the GOP majority can’t vote for the extreme changes these Club for Growth, Koch financed reps demand. The Freedom caucus will never be able to do anything but obstruct if they do not learn to compromise. Pelosi & Schumer are counting on them to do just that!

Absolutely. Why some cannot see the big picture here is beyond me! The Dems will use this to crucify Pres Trump again and the RINO globalists will do the same.

Mark Steyn on Rush today was talking about stopping the bill and hip replacements costing less under free market. We get it Steyn but that comes later. Right now we are up against demons who will use this to ‘delegitimize’ Pres Trump.

Pass the darn bill and put the demons on notice–we are united! This is bigger than health care right now.

Geez, this is so frustrating. These stupid people like Steyn who have he resources to have great healthcare go around acting like they know everything and they can’t see the forest for the trees.

How ironic that those of us who are the victims of Obamacare get it– we need to ram this down Pelosi’s throat.

I’ll say it one more time. The FC has yet to present a new bill and name the 60 senators who will vote for it – since it will not go through reconciliation. 60 votes. Who are they?

Seems to me the FC is all about face time and not problem solving.

          I trust Trump.

Phase 3 in my mind will happen. I think our President brought Elijah Cummings to speak with him about his pharmaceutical plan to hear what he had to say but more importantly, he will make sure that it will be attached to the other pieces of legislation in Phase 3 (buying insurance across state lines, tort reform, having folks group together to purchase insurance). He shared this during his interview with Tucker. Democrats will come on board because they will have skin in the game. Also because tax reform will be happening simultaneously and they will see the writing on the wall that our LION is MAGA and if they want any hope of getting reelected (10 Democrats in Red States), it is time to jump on board the train.

The Freedom Caucus does NOT want what Trump campaigned on. They want a total repeal, which I have never heard them explain how to do, or for Obamacare to implode even though it will hurt many people. Notice they NEVER say what CAN be added or subtracted and still pass. They keep saying Trump ran to repeal Obama care. That is very untrue. He wanted to repeal and replace it. It’s a 3 stage process because there are not enough votes in the Senate. Finally I disagree that 2 and 3 aren’t doable. Step 2 is up to Dr. Price. Step 3 should be able to get buy in next from Dems because they won’t be voting to repeal. They will vote for taking on Big Pharma to negotiate down drug prices. They will vote for buying insurance across state lines or they will be voted out. They just politically can not vote to repeal. This is so simple. The Freedom Caucus are grandstanders. Muh principled conservative cucks.

The Conspiracy Against President Trump by Paul Craig Roberts

“Americans need to understand that the political competition between the Democrats and Republicans is over which party gets to collect the money for being the whore for the One Percent. Traditionally, the party in the White House gets most of the money, so that is where both parties want to be….

Trump doesn’t fire Comey and Rogers, because he cannot fire them. If he fires them, the Democrats and presstitutes will explain the firings as proof that Trump is a Russian agent and is covering up his treason by removing those investigating it.

Trump is trying to use Twitter to respond to the orchestrated media assault against him and to achieve some organization among his supporters, the working class that elected him. However, Trump cannot even count on the Republican Party. Most Republicans are also dependent on political contributions from the military/security complex, and Republicans know that the intelligence agencies have all the dirt on them. To fight for Trump is to expose themselves.

    http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2017/03/20/conspiracy-president-trump/

So re why Pres. Trump isn’t firing people — he has to let other sources – his DOJ to come out with allegations/arrests due to strong evidence they have which wouldn’t implicate Pres. Trump wrongly

Very good and timely article, but it doesn’t address the question of “why Russia?” Why do the Dems have a hard on for fighting Russia. This isn’t just a capricious campaign against Putin and the Russians, nor is it because Russia was “at hand”. It is fierce ideological war against them. Leftist, globalist war.

      Like

      • Gaius Gracchus says:

There are several reasons for the fixation on Russia.
        1. Russia is the convenient boogeyman. Even though the Cold War ended long ago, Russia can remain the “threat” because people remember Russia being the enemy. Whether someone wants to or not, unless they were born in the 80s, most people have a strong and well-developed fear of Russia left over from the days of the Cold War. “Putin is KGB” and “Russians are imperialists!” Even after the end of the Cold War, many of the people in the foreign policy community, having trained in US-Soviet relations, could not get out of that paradigm.

        2. Russia and Putin are threats to globalism. Putin is a nationalist and supports Christianity. He has ability to push back against the global financial structures and has the power to be truly independent. So what if China is 1,000 times more threatening in the world today. China is tied into globalism and supports globalism. Soros and the Rockefeller crowd and assorted folks hate nation states and want a global super state with corporations ruling the planet. Russia is not going to go along with that.

        3. Ukraine is spending a lot of money to influence the West and America. Ukrainian money has flowed like crazy into Washington and they hate Russia. They have valid reasons to do so, but Ukraine is the crazy meddling country, a relatively unimportant country with too much influence. They spent a lot of money in Washington and the coup a few years ago, a CIA/State Department/Soros effort, was bought and paid for Ukrainians.

We really need to stay out of the Ukraine mess and it has too much influence over our foreign policy concerning Russia.

In the Senate what is somehow considered our best Conservatives are NAU lover Open Border Ted Cruz and Never Trumpers Mike Lee and Tom Cotton. We are left with Rand Paul. He’s the best Senator we have, but Rand Paul even supported Amnesty.

I feel Trumps ObamaCare fix is a mistake. I am certain Phase 3 never happens. I don’t have a time machine, but I know Dems won’t support and RINOS will capitulate. It doesnt take a Historian to have learned that. We all know this. And Phase 3 has the free market solutions. If that’s the case then nothing gets done at all. They will not push forward tax cuts because muh deficit. This then allows the Dems to get back in the game. Allowing Obamacare to crash under its own weight does nothing, nada, zip for the American people. They will be pissed and we go back to Dems. Vicious circle.

I am fully aware it is not perfect. But, the ball needs to start rolling and with this bill and a few adjustments almost the entirety of Obamacare can be dismantled. The free market components most speak of are actually only a few items. Important yes. Right now, taking the venom from Obamacare is the most important.

So the so-called “Freedom” caucus is essentially the mire us in more R losses because they are too arrogant to compromise.

If the GOP puts up a proper repeal, the repeal clears the House and fails in the Senate due to the Democrats, the Republicans did everything they could to keep their promises and in the eyes of the public looks like we wanted to bring prices down but the Democrats didn’t support the repeal and free markets.

MSM will inevitably blame us for anything no matter what happens. And no matter how good or bad the outcome truly is they will brand it a failure. It could be Trump/Ryans plan, the Rand plan, or letting it implode it doesnt matter.

The good news is the public has common sense and don’t trust the media rendering them ineffective. In 2020 they will be even less effective than 2016. The MSM inevitably blaming us, is meaningless unless we do pass a lousy bill to FIX ObamaCare

Judicial Watch: IRS stonewalled TEA Party groups while fast-tracking high school Satan Club!!!

    http://freebeacon.com/issues/irs-made-conservative-groups-wait-satanic-club-granted-exempt-status-10-days/

    March 22, 2017 11:57 am

The Internal Revenue Service made Tea Party and conservative groups wait years for tax-exempt status, but granted exempt status to an “After School Satan Club” in just 10 days, according to the watchdog group Judicial Watch.

Charitable, religious, and educational organizations can receive tax-exempt status if they follow IRS guidelines for nonprofits. The IRS for years prevented some conservative groups from obtaining this status, targeting them using key words such as “tea-party” and “patriot.” Many of these groups had to wait up to seven years to receive tax-exempt status, while others were denied.

“In the meantime, leftist groups like the Satan club got fast tracked,” Judicial Watch said. “The Satanic cult applied for tax-exempt status on October 21, 2014, and received it on October 31, 2014.”

The nonprofit Reason Alliance was behind the after-school club. It operates in Washington State as the Satanic Temple of Seattle.

“Children ages 5-12 will develop basic critical reasoning, character qualities, problem solving and creative expression, according to the Satanic Temple filings included in the documents,” Judicial Watch explains. “The club logo is a pencil with devil’s horns.”

In big box stores now, you have employees who will make up an answer rather than refer you to someone who knows. (I’m looking at you, Best Buy.) I’ve even heard they are trained to do that.

Yes, or the best answer is “Idaknow”. Used to be that was the kiss of death to your job. You find a solution or someone else who can. Idaknow would get a reprimand. Not so much work ethics out there and correlates with social/civic lack of responsibility/ethics too.

I used to shop a lot at Nordstrom and I love Eileen clothe line. They had a manager I really like she was sharp and very costumer oriented . She married and moved to NY. The store the department has not been the same. Lousy service the inventory of Eileen clothe has gone down and I have not shopped there at least for a year now.
Yes costumer service is important to me and also if the salespeople know their clothing line .

It is fabulous to be able to buy anything on line, and then open your front door and say “bring it on in”.

A complete circle – Sears was once a catalog only company. I’m old enough to remember the first stores were small catalog pick up and order places. Gradually enlarged to mall corner stores.

Malls in general are failing because of crime and ease of online shopping.

My kids used to mark their with list for Christmas out of the Sears catalouge. That was a big exercise beginning to choose from September on. $25 each bought nice presents .

I was just like that….except you change your mind every other day and the catalog looked like an open paper fan by the time you had to stop browsing. But it was fun.

If I was President Trump and vote fails I would do this. Give the freedom caucus and the other no votes one week to write a bill and gather their votes for it. Have them all to White House for a press conference and when they only have half the votes this bill has embarrass them.

At the very least it will show how dysfunctional the Republican Party is and they might as well split up….This doesn’t mean I am 100% behind current bill whatsoever, but it needs to be made clear we are a party in name only…

I got the feeling from Spicer’s press briefing that POTUS is disgusted with the House GOP. He’s done everything under the sun today to negotiate with different factions of the party and they apparently aren’t wiling to work with him. He shouldn’t have to give and give and get nothing in return.

I’m not thrilled with every single element of this bill either but the congress doesn’t give a rip about us. They’ve made that very apparent. I hope Rand Paul is happy that he got what he wanted. The loser here is the American people.

Any morons that think that the almighty Freedom Caucus gives a flying …. about them, their family, their medical expenses, premium costs or their health and well-being….just stop. Any and every “deal” that they are trying to make, benefits them or the people who keep their wheels greased…$$$
Screwing President Trump is a BONUS!!

I am don with Ron Paul he is a chill for the Koch brothers. If these clowns believe the can slip in on P Trumps a coattail again they have another thing going. They have no loyalty to POTUS. They like Ryan because they keep voting him back in as speaker . They seem to use their dislike for him not to do anything for the people.

Make no mistake, the Dems and their MSM pimple poppers are literally foaming at the mouth waiting for this Bill to fail. They WILL crucify Trump and they are thrilled that some Republicans are helping them do it!
Personally, I don’t even care what new “changes” are in it….I hope it passes.
