The UniParty Congressional Swamp’s Meaningless Political FBI/NSA Hearing…

The Congressional Intelligence Committee  hearing today was everything we anticipated it would be.  Which is to say it was: insufferable political posturing, pandering and circular parseltongue swirling the drain of non-intellectual gobbledygook.

These types of congressional hearings are perfect feed pellets for media pundits to blather endlessly, wax philosophically, and engage in long-winded academic esoteric analyses contrasting the implied meanings of stop signs.  However, they are ridiculous for all other purposes.

That said, against the backdrop of the espoused intention, and with full acceptance of the historic UniParty Benghazi hearings driven intentionally into the pit of nothingness, prayerfully I’m not the only person who noted that not a single congressional panelist asked Director James Comey or NSA Mike Rogers if they personally were the person who unmasked the identity of General Mike Flynn in the “intelligence intercepts”.

Yes, that’s correct.  There is only ONE KNOWN Factual and CRIMINAL activity currently identified: the unmasking and leaking of Mike Flynn’s name to the media.

Yet not a single congressional intelligence committee member would ask Rogers or Comey -under oath- if they were the source of: A) “The Unmasking”, and/or B) “The Leaking”.

Stop for a moment and think about that glaring an intentional non inquiry against the expressed intention of the purpose of the committee.

UniParty.

Bat-Sh!t-Crazy-Frustrating.

The Deep State doesn’t exist they say.  Skynet is not self-aware they say.  Malware is only harmful if the Russians have it they say.  Pay no attention to the embed data code on your gadgets…

FBI Director Comey states his organization is “investigating”.  Fair enough, however – not a single congresscritter asked HIM if he’s the source of the unmasking or leaks.

♦ How can a congressional committee conduct an investigation if they don’t know if the primary witness, the lead investigator, is the source of the leaks?

♦ Wouldn’t the very first step, the actual basis of the foundation for the investigation itself, be to ensure the person conducting the investigation did not participate in the illegality of the conduct being investigated?

Think.

Avoid the shiny things.

Why wouldn’t congress ask this simple question?

Admiral Mike Rogers answers that approximately 10-20 people within his NSA organization had the potential to unmask and/or leak to the media.  Fair enough.

♦ Wouldn’t the first question as follow-up be to ask Admiral Mike Rogers if he is one of those numbered possibilities?

♦ Wouldn’t the second follow-up question, in an authentic inquiry, be to ask Mike Rogers if he is one of the possibilities with access to that information, then was he actually the person who unmasked or leaked?

If both Mike Rogers and James Comey admit they are in charge of two of the possible source organizations for activity that is expressly admitted to have engaged in illegal behavior,… then what affirmative confidence has either person expressed to congress to ensure the inquiring body that they personally were not the originating source?

Think.

There is NO PEA in this shell game of distraction.  Pay no attention to the google van driving down your neighborhood taking pictures.  It has emoji faces and stuff… and they won’t give that stuff to the NSA types.  Promise.  Swear.

Now, oh yeah… the shiny things:

So what? Was there a law broken? No one has even asserted there has been. THAT is the McCarthyism which POTUS Trump called out in his tweet.

NO ONE is being accused of anything illegal except for whoever leaked Flynn’s transcripts. That’s the ONLY criminal offense in this case and the only one not being investigated.

The McCarthyism is “are you guilty of association?” When you break it down as simple as that, you should realize how angry people SHOULD be here.

McCarthyism was never about the actual practice of Sen. McCarthy. It was about disparaging anti-Communism. Sure, McCarthy was unsavory but as we see now the Dems/Commies have no qualms with McCarthyism used on their behalf. Americans are so gullible it’s ridiculous.

The sad part is that McCarthy, whether by design or by accident, was right. Look at us now, an avowed socialists almost getting nominated to one of the big two parties, the communist party proudly recruiting in the streets, every single liberal special interest group be it concerned with gender, sexuality, environmentalism, race, or what have you is chock full of communists top to bottom all screaming so loudly into the ears of government that no one can hear the voice of the people anymore.

No one except our President, and they’re trying their damnedest to get rid of him by hook or by crook.

Not arguing that fact at all. But the term now means precisely what I described — “guilt of association” and not of any specific or particular crime.

Technically, and this is where there is some level of hypocrisy on my part, but I believe there is a certain degree of McCarthyism which is appropriate. When a person is a member of a group which is absolutely, by their organization’s own mission statement or doctrine, an enemy of the USA, then McCarthyism is right. For example Communism/Socialism or Islam.

He might have been sleep-deprived, angry about leaks, and shot his mouth off without checking with intel first. That would mean there is no evidence to either find or reveal. We all have lapses in judgment, but Twitter allows an instance of speaking too soon to be published all over the world.

No, It doesn’t surprise me at all. I expect hypocrisy from leftists, it’s an essential part of their persona. I don’t even think it changes my pulse rate anymore.

Leftists didn’t care when Sarah Palin was hacked or Donald Trump was surveillied illegally. That wasn’t important, only the content was important. When the DNC was hacked, the contents weren’t important, only the fact they got hacked was important..

They always do that – try to change the “rules” as they go in ways that suit them. Hypocrites gotta hypocrite. Expecting them to do anything different is unrealistic. 5. What is frustrating to me is how poor the push-back from the White House has been. The proof that Obama ordered surveillance of President Trump can be found in the interview that Paul Ryan gave Brett Baier a few weeks back.

In the interview Paul Ryan notes:

    – Obama ordered the IC to “canvass all the intelligence” and report back on “what Russia did do”

    – Baier then notes the two FISA requests reported on and asks Ryan if there is truth to the reports to which Ryan says “I haven’t seen any evidence to CONTRADICT what you just said”

    – Ryan then states “nothing came of the investigation”.

It should be noted that Ryan is a member of the intelligence “gang of eight” so he would be in a position to know if Trump was under surveillance at the order of Obama.

Why hasn’t the Trump team used this interview as Exibit “A” as proof to back up the President’s claim?

Of course further proof of the President claim is we KNOW that Mike Flynn was wiretapped and he was a key member of the Trump team. How can people say there is no evidence to back up the Presidents claims?

While everyone may focus, as Sundance did also, on the supposed ‘heavy hitter’ Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee. You know, the ones that walk to the edge and then quickly re-lick the envelope to seal it back up …

There was an exchange of questions and answers between Elise Stefanik (R-NY, 21st District) and FBI Comey … that made Comey highly uncomfortable, with eye dropping and glances towards Admiral Rogers. Ms. Stefanik returned to Comey’s statement of the ‘investigation’ of Trump and associates began in July 2016 … and then nailed him on the fact that the FBI is to ‘notify’ and ‘brief’ the President of on-going ‘open-counter intelligence investigations’ and what is the protocol notifying the DNI, White House and congressional leadership? Which, by Comey’s statement is quarterly … That means Obama had to of been ‘notified’ at least twice and Comey admits they had not briefed Congressional leadership…

Then Ms Stefanik nails Comey and Rogers to admit that the ‘hacking’ was done to both parties. Well worth the watch and dissemination …

Oh … and a side note ~ Stefanik defeated a wealthy Democrat, Aaron Woolf, by more than 20 points and at 30 years old, she’s the youngest woman ever elected to Congress.

When Comey was proclaiming there is “a culture” in the FBI of [not breaking the law]. I was hoping Gowdy would zero in on that to ask “Is violation of this culture actionable?” We all know that a culture of being lawful does not guarantee all within the culture follow the law.

Gowdy repeated several times their surveillance programs are on the chopping block.

The unaccountable way they treat access to this HIGHLY dangerous surveillance program is a huge problem. To say they have a culture of lawfulness is not reassuring because we KNOW someone within that culture broke the law whether is was within the FBI or elsewhere.

More likely, it was a foreign actor (who didn’t like BREXIT) which has access to the NSA data collection. It’s all just a database query away. Transcripts are automated. And let’s be clear — depending on the conversation under review, hiding the name of the US American may not be enough. The context and content of the conversation would likely be enough to identify an unnamed US person.

It’s time to bring this Soviet Style surveillance into the light to show all just how incredibly bad all of this is. This isn’t about “protecting the people of the USA” because if they were interested in doing that, they’d secure the borders and immigration policy and vet all who have come here for deportation. They use this to protect THEMSELVES and to keep themselves in power.

When you look at how it’s used and what’s being done, it doesn’t wash with what they tell us it’s for.

Exactly! And, Gowdy set Comey up earlier by discussing “hearsay”, as not being evidentiary, while inferring that “transcripts” are evidentiary, which would likely be the purview of the FBI. Which, carried further, infers that wiretapping did indeed occur. Then, naming Brennan, Clapper, Rogers, and Comey as “unmaskers”, and including Obama, Rhodes, Rice and Lynch was brilliant. Gowdy had earlier set this up by making it perfectly clear that “leaks” do not aid the FBI nor NSA, since they are already aware of what the “leaked” documents or revelations are about. Simply put, the “leaks” are specifically targeted to damage the Trump Administration.

I don’t believe it to be a coincidence that he scheduled yet another rally on the evening of this hearing when he just had one last week.

Email the White House, Stephen Miller, Bannon and anyone else we presently consider “white hat patriots”…give them our names and offer whatever support they need.

They have to let us know what they want us to do.

It is us against the black hat traitors. We no longer have a choice…and obviously, it is mighty hard to know who to trust. So in my correspondence, I would include only those who are Trump supporters…if you notice, I left out Mike Pence…not sure there.

And on another feed yesterday I posted a copy of a letter to my Florida senator, Marco Rubio…as well as his form letter response, promising to get back to me. This is my 4th attempt in contacting him…same results every time. Not even one of his highly paid staff responded. So, we can’t even address our concerns to those whom we elected in November. I think, after the 6th month waiting period is up May 8th, we should start impeachment or recall proceedings for those newly elected as they are not fulfilling the jobs to which they are elected.

QUESTION to SMART TREEPERS. Why can’t Trump just fire Comey and Rogers?

Anyway…off to email my President. And include a copy of your email on your social media feed…saturate this country with support.

Look at what we’ve accomplished via. Boycotts….we can do wonders when we stick together..silent no more…need to put the fear of God into the swamp creatures.

And if you are in a generous mood, email John McCain and really let the old fart know how you feel about him.

Crooked Hillary out and out committed PROVABLE crimes. There is no doubt about that. None. Her handling of classified information is/was a crime. Having her own private server with classified information is/was a crime. Sidney Blumenthal had SAP material provided by her and her shadow government CIA buddy (who is no longer alive). Crimes everywhere. PROVABLE crimes yet there is Comey investigating Trump after he freed Crooked Hillary.

Comey needs to be charged with conspiracy. Why is this guy still around? Where is Sessions?

If I was a low information voter, I’d think that Comey was Sessions boss. I’d think that Trump worked for Comey.

Right now Obama, Comey, Clapper, Brennan, Hillary, and the Democrats are still running things.

It would be nice if the DOJ would start investigating all that. Hillary is involved in so many illegal issues and she’s just been let off the hook completely. She’s even coming ‘out of the woods’, whatever that means and aims to cause as much trouble as she can for Pres. Trump along with her buddy Obama. Why can’t the repubs go after her and direct the narrative to things that really hurt the country? Do it now.

This is all such a farce and I have my suspicions, along with everybody else on our side, that the repubs are neck deep in the swamp, swimming with the alligators hunting Trump.

Something has to be done to stop this an I hope it comes out soon. Very sad for the country that we can’t even get past the first 2 months without these sick issues repeating themselves ad nauseum and there doesn’t seem to be any slowing it down by anyone on the right. I laughed when the low intelligence Dems like Maxine W started to throw around the impeachment word from day one, but I’m starting not to laugh anymore when I hear it. I don’t trust the repubs not to vote along with the Dems if it comes to that. Help needs to come very soon to end this charade and get back to doing the business of MAGA.

    • If the leaked information about candidate Trump came from within his own people, there would be no need for espionage from outside and no need to surveil Trump Tower. Hence, no evidence to find. The unmasking of Gen. Flynn would not have required spying on Trump or the Tower either. The source for that might have been someone in the IC, but could also have been one of Trump’s own now in government.

It is not necessary, and anyone pushing that the military-industrial-entertainment complex and its attached intel agencies is essential “in this modern world” is a bullshitter.

Military intelligence gathering, under the Department of the Navy, is the only constitutional active overseas intel agency authorized. The rest is over-reaching bureaucracy that achieves far too little for the cost in treasure and lives. It is also a cancerous self perpetuating system of tyranny.

It set GLADIO / Le Glaive up in Europe and Turkey, the results of which we are still seeing, and it would be nuts to think they didn’t set up UK, Australian and AMERICAN versions of GLADIO as well.

Sure. Because they have nothing to investigate. Because, to the best of my knowledge, they have no EVIDENCE. The only “evidence” the public has ever seen was the “Russian Dossier” by “British Intelligence source Christopher Steele,” who may or may not exist. It contained a tale of urinating Russian hookers that may or may not have been 4 chan fan fiction. It “reports” on Trump associates in Russia – who proved they weren’t even in Russia at the time!

This hearing was useless, and as Sundance points out, theater. Most of the important information could not be discussed in a public setting (classified) and nothing but innuendo and accusations were thrown about by people who didn’t seem to have any idea what they were talking about.

One of the key takeaways for me personally was the admission that Wikileaks did not receive their documents directly from the Russians, confirming Wikileaks’ denial of the same. An unknown middle man gave them the information in the official public narrative now, and is demonstrable.

This “scandal” is on its last legs now, but one of the most frustrating things is that it is taken as baseline that our foreign policy will/should NEVER CHANGE. What if the American People wanted to create an alliance between ourselves and Russia? No politician espousing such a policy would ever be able to make it through the system. This is a complete failure of representative government.

And against our chief nuclear rival no less…

It begins with a gut sensation, doesn’t it? Then you move to words. Then to “his responsibilities” tied to “problems”, “appointments”, etc. Then you begin to thread these with some “friends” and their actions and words.

And then you see if he is demonstrably speaking out and acting in fierce defense of POTUS, or just speaking when he carries forth his duties on certain issues.

Is he ready to “take a bullet”?

And why is he left out of the fray? Why is he nobody’s target?

And then you tally all his data points and you come to the conclusion, unavoidably, that the guy is worrisome.

      Has that been the sensation?

And most of all—Flynn. There would be no Flynn issue without Pence.

But if you look at who was the #1 target of the Dems, the Deep State and the IC, you know it was always Flynn. And only one person had the leverage to demand Flynn be taken down. And that’s what happened.

Pence was the circuit breaker whose function was to stop the reforms of Intel agencies and to keep POTUS fed bogus briefings that Flynn had challenged from the campaign days Trump first got briefings.

Flynn was the great danger to the Swamp and Pence got him.

That ended the entire gambit with Russia, detente, rollback of NATO, cooperation with the big powers, more spending on more useless weapons systems, no reforms, walk away from Ukraine, coordination in the fight against radical Islamic terror.

Trillions are safe now. They will be “spent”. And there will be no reforms of Intel or MIC.

Jackie Speier accuse Russia of engaging in “conventional warfare,” “irregular warfare,” and “cyber warfare”.

Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) raised eyebrows during today’s House Intelligence Committee when she claimed Russia had committed an “act of war” against the United States, before being subsequently panned for a bizarre metaphor involving a tarantula.

During testimony by FBI Director James Comey and National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers into whether Russia interfered in the presidential election, Speier asserted , without citing any evidence, that Moscow had launched “hybrid warfare”.

After Comey and Rogers agreed that Russia was an “adversary” seeking to “harm” the United States, Speier said that Russia had engaged in “conventional warfare,” “irregular warfare,” and “cyber warfare”.

Both Comey and Rogers refused to agree that Russia had engaged in any type of “warfare,” but Speier went on to argue that they did.

“I actually think that their engagement was an act of war, an act of hybrid warfare and I think that’s why the American people should be concerned about it,” she said.

Speier then proceeded to describe “a spider web with a tarantula in the middle” with the tarantula being Vladimir Putin “who is entrapping many people to do his bidding and engage with him,” before she named Roger Stone as one of those individuals.

Let’s be realistic about one thing: The maximum amount of data that our technology allows to be collected will be collected. We can collect it, or we can let the other guy collect it. But there is no possible way to stop the collection. Well, there is a way to stop quite a bit of it, but that’s not likely to happen because of advertising and money.

The Internet, which pretty much all of our “devices” are part of today, is based on free browsing and revenue that’s based on user “clicks”, or on sneaky and subversive ways to get users to look at things they don’t want to look at. The major cellphone makers (not naming any in particular) deliberately enable the spammers and advertisers and even the hackers to get stuff to you or from you, because they depend on it. Just like the banks depend on porn and drugs for much of their cash flow.

The system is corrupt in a way that can’t be fixed without a major restructure, and it would have a heavy impact on the economy to tamper with it. To me, the scariest of all is google, who not only ruthlessly track everyone to the square meter even when “privacy” is fully enabled and working, they are also part of DARPA now making “human hunting robots” just like the Terminator.
