Targeted Theft – Secret Service Laptop Containing Clinton Investigation Files Stolen From Vehicle Agent’s Home…

Everyone should try to skip the shiny things embedded within the story of a laptop theft from a Secret Service Agent Marie Argentieri.   The theft appears to have nothing to do with Trump Tower or Trump Tower floor plans.  The theft appears to have everything to do with Argentieri as a supportive investigator for Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

Evidence of the specific targeting is transparent within the eye witness stories that a car pulled up, a passenger exited the vehicle – went directly to Agent Argentieri’s vehicle, broke in, took the back pack and walked away quickly.

The thief knew exactly what they were looking for, this wasn’t a random heist of convenience.

(New York) […]  The thief stepped out of a dark-colored car, possibly an Uber, and stole the laptop from Argentieri’s vehicle, a 2015 Bajaj, which was parked in the driveway of her Bath Beach home, sources said. Neighbors said the thief struck about 3 a.m.

The crook, a man dressed in black, didn’t get back in the car. He was seen on surveillance video walking away from the scene with a backpack holding the laptop, sources said.

[…]  Neighbor Jaime Palazzi, 40, saw the thief but was unaware until later the backpack belonged to the agent.

“I was smoking a cigarette on my balcony,” Palazzi said. “I looked at him, he looked at me, and he kept on going. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary.”

Another neighbor, Mike Mignuolo, 73, believes, based on the video police showed him, that the suspect moved quickly and with a purpose.

“It showed somebody running to the car and running back out,” he said. “They knew what they were doing, absolutely. They knew what they were hitting.”

[…] After walking off the suspect turned onto Cropsey Ave. and dumped the bag in the snow outside a private home. Residents there had no comment.

Other items were found by a teacher at Poly Prep Country Day School, in neighboring Bay Ridge, and turned over to security. The school’s head of security notified Argentieri Friday morning, sources said.  (read more)

Just like the Thanksgiving weekend 2012 fire directly above Secretary Clinton’s office in the State Department building (in the aftermath of the Benghazi Sept. 11th 2012 attacks), things just happen to disappear when the subject is Hillary Clinton and investigations.

Yes. This is the narrative, after all. It wasn’t that anyone arranged a meeting on the tarmac. It was coincidental, after all. This wasn’t a hand-off of sensitive and critical information. It was a random crime and it could happen to anyone.

Maybe it wasn’t what they claim….. maybe the story of the laptop theft is just a cover up.

Maybe it was a pay-off by someone under USSS protection. Or some documents/information being sold by the Clintons.

Either Agent Argentieri is dumb as clams or she’s an accomplice to the theft. Anyone living in NYC which includes Brooklyn knows not to leave anything of value in their car anytime or anywhere.

When Trump, a NYer, hears about this he’ll get rid of her– pronto.

Yup this was a targeted hit with very likely Agent Marie Argentieri an accomplice in the theft.

More than likely the hard disk drive is secured with encryption technology such as WinMagic or BitLocker which requires a password at bootup to decrypt the harddrive and load the operating system. This would mean that the thieves likely have access to this password or else the entire device would be useless to them.

If the agent was complicit in the theft who’s to say the necessary info to access it wasn’t also provided. If she wasn’t complicit maybe she’s just a stupid government employee who doesn’t give a sh#$@ about what she leaves where. Can’t say that isn’t a likely scenario from what we know about government employees. This is one of the main problems we face. There is so much stupidity and so much covert activity that it’s difficult to know what’s covert or what’s just stupid carelessness.

The good news is that her laptop, most likely, was not the only LEO device housing Clinton crimes evidence. There has to be mandatory back up protocols, as well as enterprise level databases and other devices, where the info also resides, So, it’s not like the evidence is now lost. If Clinton was behind the theft, then this was probably an effort to find out what hard evidence / leads they have on her.

You would think, but the idiot left the laptop with this data in their car overnight. Any company with sensitive data should have a policy forbidding this.

    • Daniel says:

This would be more about classified information getting into the hands of people who shouldn’t have access than about “a thing being removed.” Data, especially government data, is never fully deleted.

That’s why, as we are learning (and I have known for more than a decade) that the NSA has recorded ABSOLUTELY everything. All Clinton emails transmitted over the internet are captured by the NSA. Trump’s game plan in this “wire tapping” reveal is to bring to light something worse — the full-time, non-stop, totalitarian recording of everything sent over any wire or signal everywhere.

They say this is about protecting “the people” but they never complete the statement nor indication which people as it’s clearly more about protecting themselves and to keep their power intact. J.Edgar Hoover maintained such power and leverage over government leaders as we all well know. What makes anyone imagine that it has changed in any way?

The NSA whistle blowers got news attention and fake outrage by politicians, but does anyone believe it has ever stopped?

What kind of idiot leaves their laptop with sensitive data in their car overnight? Something smells fishy, this agent is either in on it or incompetent. They should have a written policy forbidding this or maybe the government is more stupid than we realize. I assumed at least the secret service had their act together.

Dan Bongino, who is ex-secret service, was on Lou Dobbs tonight.

Dobbs was going down the list of all the recent “secret service screw-ups”, including this one…and asking “What the heck is going on with the Secret Service?!”

Bongino revealed that some of his buddies who are still with the White House sec service, told him that when the ‘fence jumper’ was wandering around on the grounds…alarms were being triggered.
But someone had “cleared those alarms”.

That means…someone ‘reset’ those alarms, as they were being triggered.
Someone in the White House, with access to the alarms!

This just happened, on tonight’s show.
Will try to find a clip of it, and post it later.

That is not good- everyone working in the White House who has been there from the previous tenant, especially hired during the past 8 years should pass a thorough criminal background check again if not fire them all. Bring Dan Bongino back, he would be a man of honor and would know who can be trusted and who can’t.

Wheatie, I heard it Thurs. afternoon from Bongino on Hannity radio. In fact I believe that I heard somewhere, that possibly 15 minutes, someone could have been inside the gates “undetected.”

There is more security (or used to be) wired/planned/protocol in the White House, than I ever knew. Did a bunch of research on it when that guy got into some part of the White House when Obie was in. It’s been during the the Obama Admin. when you started hearing about incidents. There must have been a big change in Leadership in SS, institutionally, internally after 9/11.

I don’t ever remember hearing a plea for the public’s help in returning a ‘stolen’ laptop that had access to classified info. If this had actually happened as we’re being led to believe AND the laptop had Trump Tower floor plans AND Hillary’s emails, would anyone in an actual intelligence agency broadcast this out to the general public? Weirdness all the way around.

You’d think one belonging to the SS could be. Plus, I have only seen one person remark on the fact that computers, like smartphones, can be remotely wiped. And if this one couldn’t/wasn’t, that is a more basic lapse. Maybe it is a false flag or a trap for someone. The building plans are irrelevant. The other thing taken was a “SS access key” of type unknown–to a building? to a computer? sounds important.

Now President Donald J. Trump can’t even trust his Secret Service. They missed an Asian guy on the grounds of the White House for 17 minutes. A Laptop was stolen on the seat of a Secret Service car with information of the plans in Trump Tower and information on Hillary Clinton and her server. Also Secret Service people were caught taking a picture of President Trump’s young grandson sleeping. This is getting very scary. President Trump is not safe in the White House. I know the Democrats are behind this. The Democrats want President Trump dead or kicked out of the office. Anybody that votes for a Democrat is voting for a evil killer of Republican Presidents. The C.I.A. and FBI can’t be trusted either. Our country is in grave danger when you have such evil intelligence in the USA. Most of them being Democrats.

I think he can trust most of them, but there are a lot of incompetents in management AND in the ranks, and I think there needs to be a thorough reorg, as Dan B. suggests. That will allow them to flush all the Obama dross out, or reassign somewhere safer. Perhaps new, rigorous re-testing that disqualifies 1/4 of the whole lot could be implemented.

The profession (if you work at CIA, for example) itself is beyond contempt, in my opinion. No decent person would ever want to spy and professionally lie and sabotage and assassinate people and reputations and be proud of a “job well done.” All this “hard-working heroes protecting country” is BS.

I don’t think that intelligence-gathering is a bad profession. If anything, it’s a preventer of human conflict – a good thing. The question is – what techniques are considered “ok”.

But then there is the “changing” of public opinions. To me, that is not government’s job, because invariably it turns into the Orwellian. Lots of room to cut there, IMO. Government should change public opinion by how it acts, not by fooling people, or using deceptive arguments, trickery, fake news, censorship, psychological assault, or whatever. Every dime the CIA is spending on those needs to be revoked. Intelligence. THAT is the mission.

I think that once they got into the business of DEFENSE by propaganda, it was a slippery slope into GOVERNING by propaganda. And to Obama and Hillary – “Hey! Sounds great!”

They are called the swamp and the deep state for a good reason. I doubt any real, reform is possible. A short-term improvement? Maybe.
The techniques will never change for the better because the world is not going to change theirs. And the immense power over private information is very, very tempting and will always be abused. This is a ruthless, corrupting and soul-crushing environment. A wholesome person will not thrive in such an environment.
CIA must be burned to the ground, that’s the only cure.
