WikiLeaks Releases “Vault7” Details of CIA Data Intrusion, Monitoring, Tracking and Collection…

(Via WikiLeaks) Today, Tuesday 7 March 2017, WikiLeaks begins its new series of leaks on the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. Code-named “Vault 7” by WikiLeaks, it is the largest ever publication of confidential documents on the agency.

The first full part of the series, “Year Zero”, comprises 8,761 documents and files from an isolated, high-security network situated inside the CIA’s Center for Cyber Intelligence in Langley, Virgina. It follows an introductory disclosure last month of CIA targeting French political parties and candidates in the lead up to the 2012 presidential election.

Recently, the CIA lost control of the majority of its hacking arsenal including malware, viruses, trojans, weaponized “zero day” exploits, malware remote control systems and associated documentation. This extraordinary collection, which amounts to more than several hundred million lines of code, gives its possessor the entire hacking capacity of the CIA. The archive appears to have been circulated among former U.S. government hackers and contractors in an unauthorized manner, one of whom has provided WikiLeaks with portions of the archive.

“Year Zero” introduces the scope and direction of the CIA’s global covert hacking program, its malware arsenal and dozens of “zero day” weaponized exploits against a wide range of U.S. and European company products, include Apple’s iPhone, Google’s Android and Microsoft’s Windows and even Samsung TVs, which are turned into covert microphones.

Since 2001 the CIA has gained political and budgetary preeminence over the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA). The CIA found itself building not just its now infamous drone fleet, but a very different type of covert, globe-spanning force — its own substantial fleet of hackers. The agency’s hacking division freed it from having to disclose its often controversial operations to the NSA (its primary bureaucratic rival) in order to draw on the NSA’s hacking capacities.

By the end of 2016, the CIA’s hacking division, which formally falls under the agency’s Center for Cyber Intelligence (CCI), had over 5000 registered users and had produced more than a thousand hacking systems, trojans, viruses, and other “weaponized” malware. Such is the scale of the CIA’s undertaking that by 2016, its hackers had utilized more code than that used to run Facebook. The CIA had created, in effect, its “own NSA” with even less accountability and without publicly answering the question as to whether such a massive budgetary spend on duplicating the capacities of a rival agency could be justified.

In a statement to WikiLeaks the source details policy questions that they say urgently need to be debated in public, including whether the CIA’s hacking capabilities exceed its mandated powers and the problem of public oversight of the agency. The source wishes to initiate a public debate about the security, creation, use, proliferation and democratic control of cyberweapons.  (continue reading for full details)

Hey Bathhouse Barry had 8 yrs of the ultimate interactive snuff film experience with the drones and numerous other crimes as well as the prior narcissism and pathological lying. So why not tap Trump Towers, check out the equipment on DJT, Ivanka and Melania…

I personally don’t think Barry has any more social inhibition than your average coke or meth addict.

    • And we haven’t even addressed the bugged white house! No wonder Melania doesn’t want to sleep in that room. Besides the stench and the demons and dark spirits living in it, they’ve got it bugged with micro bugs probably in the wall paint itself. Who would want to make love in a bugged room? Bathroom. Shower.

We need Trump and Pence families in prayer overdrive. Pence house is probably bugged too. Someone posted a few days ago here that new computers and operating system was installed in WH during January and new phone system installed last summer. Everything reeks.

The whole it/pc world is primarily run by the left and manufactured in China and paid by the CIA to act on there behalf. What is not mentioned in the Vault 7 release is the “Cloud”. Amazon controls a lot of data on there servers for Cloud storage. Be careful what you store on the Cloud!

  6. This has been going on for many years and no one should be surprised. Before high tech equipment was available, the CIA and FBI used just the simple microphone and tape recorder to bug businesses, homes, cars, landline phones, ect. They also intercepted personal mail at post offices or mailboxes.

Again, like everything else, nothing will be done. There will not be one arrest no matter how many judicial hearings or chest pounding we hear.

I have not read any of the released documents, but I think there is a lot of overblown sensationalism about this.

Technical people and conspiracy theorists have known for a long time that all of this was possible, and probably done. Like waterboarding, many are important capabilities when use in limited cases to protect us from very bad people.

It is absolutely unacceptable if these capabilities were misused. But would be equally unacceptable if they weren’t available and used when appropriate. Release of this information may be much more damaging than any possible misuse that may have occurred.

Think very carefully, there are many dimensions to the wars that are going on right now. One hidden agenda may be to weaken US by destroying our intelligence capabilities.

BTW: even the smartest TV or phone can’t see through a small piece of Scotch Tape.

Anyone that doesn’t think their tweets and gmail get read is challenged. ‘Course those are the same people that post timestamped and geo-tagged photos of themselves under a palm tree on a beach, next to photos of their home kitchen in Minnesota, and wonder why they were burglarized while on vacation.

Does anyone else remember how the original plan was that Trump wasn’t going to live in the White House for a year, due to “extensive remodeling”? And that changed right away, he was there the first week –

I think the reason he stayed there – and the reason he kept so many of the unloyalists on board – was to flush them all out. It would be one thing to say something happened during a prior time, but this way everyone gets caught red-handed =)

I am beginning to believe the was all a vast disinformation campaign . I read that there is a wickileaks { have not found yet ) that Hillary and Podesta made up the Russian thing in April . My bet is the Communist Brennan was one of the Senior officials leaking , it could be the whole FISA thing was just a big fake story to get people believing Trump was a threat .
The Flynn leak may just have been something attached to listening to the Russian . It It could have been NSA and someone leaked .
There may not be a wiretap campaign, just a bunch of lies .
if Hillary and Pedophilesta were the culprits they should have to pay back all the money spent chasing this goose ., recounts, riots ect.
I have no idea if any laws were broken in this scenario or not , but it should cement her as the 2020 Nominee.

No need to wonder about the disparity of success between the uber-left globalist marxist and America-loving Christian capitalist/nationalist, anymore. We always knew they were picking their winners and selectively propping up and shoving at us any, and everything, that could break our core values and elevate their “kind” into the halls of power and holding all in control with dirty intelligence. Lather, rinse, double lather, rinse, triple later… expounding exponentially until our country was manipulated into a shape we almost don’t recognize. This shows how much easier it has been than we ever thought possible. Wonder no more!

Obama and the CIA “planted drugs in Russia’s car trunk”. CIA planted Russia “fingerprints” on the DNC hack. This was the set up to frame and go after Trump for political purposes. The ex director John Brennan has long been an Obama stooge.

Assange always implied he got the info from a leak and not a hack, and I always thought that the murdered Seth Rich was a likely leaker. I have posted the full text of Maxine’s bizarre interview with Roland Martin, back in 2013, several times. Hannity has also been referring to it. Seems like Maxine got shut down pretty quick, back then, but the internet is forever.

      Here’s what she said:

Roland tells Waters,“The inauguration represented the beginning of the second term, but it also represented the countdown of the end of his presidency. And the reality is, uh, like anything else, you better get what you can while he’s there, because look…come 2016, that’s it.”

Waters responds, “Well you know, I don’t know. And I think some people are missing something here. The President has put in place an organization that contains a kind of database that no one has ever seen before in life. That’s going to be very, very powerful.” Martin asks, “In terms of the ‘Organizing for America’ that he’s now shifting to become a 501C4 ?” Waters responds, “That’s right. That’s right. And that database will have information about everything on every individual in ways that it’s never been done before.”
