Tomb of the Unknown ChristmasOur Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Official : “Rather Ironclad” Intel Shows Obama Behind UN Vote

    Dec 26, 2016

    http://www.timesofisrael.com/official-rather-ironclad-intel-shows-obama-behind-un-vote/

Spokesperson for PM Netanyahu says Israel has “rather ironclad information” that Obama “has played an active role in both formulating and pushing for the UNSC resolution lambasting settlement construction, which passed on Friday…”

David Keyes said “Arab sources, among others, had informed Jerusalem of Obama’s alleged involvement in advancing the resolution.”

    WH denies all this.

Netanyahu is now reaching out to President-Elect DJT to deter any further “diplomatic action” against Israel.

per Netanyahu on Sunday (yesterday) : “We have no doubt that the Obama administration initiated it, stood behind it, coordinated its versions, and insisted upon its passage.”

“Fearing UN Vote On Principles Of Palestinian Statehood, PM Reaching Out To Trump”

TV Reports: Netanyahu is wary that Kerry will set out parameters for permanent accord, then outgoing Obama administration will seek UN approval.

      http://www.timesofisrael.com/fearing-un-vote-on-principles-of-palestinian-statehood-pm-reaching-out-to-trump/

      Dec 25, 2016

France is holding a conference on the Israel-Palestinian conflict on Jan 15, 2017, and reports are speculating that Netanyahu expects that Kerry will attend, that the ME Quartet—USA, Russia, UN, EU– will coordinate their positions at that Summit. and that they will then turn to the UNSC in the very last days of Obama’s presidency.

this speculation has not been confirmed by Netanyahu’s office…but his {justified} outrage over Obama’s betrayal in the passage of Resolution 2334 behind Israel’s back has been public..as being “skewed, shameful and ridiculous”…”they are spitting at us…we will respond forcefully”.

Thank you for posting this. It is not actually a prophecy, just about the recent UN resolution against Israel. It is a great summary of what happened, who was involved, and what it will mean. This is such a complicated area, but this video made it all much clearer to me.

However, this morning on the radio news, I did hear that the white hut put out some kind of statement attempting CYA of some sort. So, they must be getting a lot of pushback.

I’ll go look for that statement in a minute.

Okay, so far this is all I can find ……
On Friday, (Dec 21st) there was a phone call press conference:

          …….._ ”
          ON-THE-RECORD PRESS CALL

BY BEN RHODES, DEPUTY NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR FOR STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS, ROB MALLEY, WHITE HOUSE COORDINATOR FOR MIDDLE EAST, NORTH AFRICA, AND THE GULF AND FRANK LOWENSTEIN, SPECIAL ENVOY FOR ISRAELI-PALESTINIAN NEGOTIATIONS AT THE STATE DEPARTMENT……_”

Starts with….”So again, this call is on the record but it is embargoed until the conclusion. And with that, I’ll turn it over to Ben……”

          https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2016/12/23/record-press-call-un-security-council-resolution-israeli-settlement

Go read it. I captured it for later read, I expect them to change a little bit of the wording for the record.

You can’t tell which reporters are on the call, unless they thank for asking that question. The first question, “Andrea” was thanked, and “Andrea” (Mitchell ?) asked about the response of Trump’s tweet.

If you’re serious about acquiring a turntable, try thrift stores or eBay. There’s still some decent basic equipment available.

And for some, the fun part is discovering the ‘technology’ and the LPs for the first time. Met a twenty-something girl who was gushing over the ‘find’ she and her new husband made at a thrift store and were busily acquiring recordings.

Do it, Dora. I’ve found some great sound equipment at Goodwill, Savers, & Salvation Army for wife and self and adult kids. Dirt cheap. Be careful of speaker systems; visually inspect foam speaker surrounds. Like so much else, some of the older things can’t be replaced for quality and durability compared to newer cr*p.

      • Dora, when I lived in Scotland we had Magpies and Blackbirds. The Magpies loved my stale bisquits and would chatter everytime I went outdoors!
The Blackbirds really do sing in the dead of night, however, we lived so far north, it wasn’t light until 8:30 a.m.
We had a young Blackbird fly into the house once. When we caught him, he started screaming ! I had never heard anything so loud, but he was glad to be freed.
They have a really beautiful song!

Great verse to keep in mind when we are tempted to make proclamations about why God is doing what He is doing, who God is supporting, and what the end result is going to be.

Christmas morning, had television on Fox in the background as I was getting ready to go Christmas Dinner – but clearly (and played it back in disbelief)heard a “lawyer” during a date (banning of muslims vs. vetting) say, and I QUOTE, “…I am paraphrasing him…That is exactly his words”…

Later that afternoon, on the drive to my parents – I was ranting about what was said and how moronic it was. My teenage daughters were silent. (they are never silent) – and I said, what is wrong w/ that statement… silence! I pulled into a parking lot, turned the car off – and told them to close their app’s, etc on their $700.00 IPHONES and told them that they needed to go on line and find the answer or we would be spending Christmas and the next days of their break from school at the library!

The finally came up with the nonsense of the statement! We continued on their way – and said good thing it is not Thanksgiving.. or you would all have to tell me how thankful you are for having a mother that will not tolerate stupid kids! I know not very Christmas like, but OMG!

My Minnesota Christmas eve “hat trick”. So, I attended my local Lutheran Church for Christmas Eve Service…the music was awesome, but this is what was fed through announcements and sermon: 1) 100% of the money donated for the night was going to Lutheran Social Services (you know, the organization accepting money and profiting from the government to relocate people who have no interest in assimilating to our culture to small cities across the midwest – not to mention the text of the immigrants book is antithetical to the mission of the Lutheran Church and our US Constitution, 2) Pray for the Children of Aleppo (I pray for children in all war zones…not just the ones that are being shelled because our foreign policy placed proxy ISIS people, er moderate muslims, in their city to attempt to overthrow a legitimate standing government), 3) last half of the sermon was a story about Stephen Colbert….yes, on Christmas Eve I got to hear all about Stephen Colbert rather than perhaps relating the story of Jesus’ birth to something a little more relevant today. Somehow stating that Colbert was a “devout Catholic” justified this Christmas eve story when Colbert’s positions on abortion and everything else have been anti-“devout Catholic”. Bit my tongue until it bled at the family dinner afterward where they extolled how great the service was. Sad that politics has crossed over into religion…yet I believe the pastor and family have no idea that it has because the New York Times, WAPO, and CNN tell them so.

Keeping the peace at holiday family gatherings is often the priority. Wouldn’t it be great if we could quickly think of a perfect sentence or two which would get people re-thinking their stances on various subjects? Liberal PC politics and religion do absolutely nothing for the soul.

Maybe you could go online and find a more appropriate Christmas sermon at one of the many Christian sites. Then when emailing it to family you could simply and lovingly say something along the line that this reflects the real meaning of Christ’s birth and our celebration of it.

We live in challenging times! But those challenges are precisely the reason Christ came into the world–to be “our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Calling someone a “climate change denier” would be rather funny except for the fact that the accusation was likely meant in all sincerity. When greatly loved children somewhat lose their way on the liberal path, it can be distressing. I know you will keep praying. My parents did for me, and I bless their memories for having the faith to know that once wayward does not have to mean forever wayward.

A man named Karenga started the KWANZAA holiday in 1966…

    Conviction for assault –

In 1971, Karenga was sentenced to one to ten years in prison on counts of felonious assault and false imprisonment.[15] One of the victims gave testimony of how Karenga and other men tortured her and another woman. The woman described having been stripped and beaten with an electrical cord. Karenga’s estranged wife, Brenda Lorraine Karenga, testified that she sat on the other woman’s stomach while another man forced water into her mouth through a hose.

A May 14, 1971, article in the Los Angeles Times described the testimony of one of the women:

“Deborah Jones, who once was given the Swahili title of an African queen, said she and Gail Davis were whipped with an electrical cord and beaten with a karate baton after being ordered to remove their clothes. She testified that a hot soldering iron was placed in Miss Davis’ mouth and placed against Miss Davis’ face and that one of her own big toes was tightened in a vise. Karenga, head of US, also put detergent and running hoses in their mouths, she said. They also were hit on the heads with toasters.”
