This should really not come as a surprise.  UKIP was formed on a singular principle, the “United Kingdom Independence Party” (hence, UKIP).
After achieving Brexit, what most political observers said was “the impossible”, Nigel Farage is leaving UKIP while most certainly ‘on top’.  Mr. Farage steps down from leading the insurgent party to focus on how he can aid other small national insurgencies to achieve their own national independence.
