(Statement Via Donald Trump) Sadly with this endorsement of Hillary Clinton – who is totally owned by Wall Street – the leadership of the AFL-CIO has made clear that it no longer represents American workers. Instead they have become part of the rigged system in Washington, D.C. that benefits only the insiders.
I believe their members will be voting for me in much larger numbers than for her.
Hillary Clinton and her husband have made hundreds of millions of dollars doing favors and selling access to Wall Street, special interests and oppressive foreign regimes.
As Bernie Sanders said, “Why, over her political career, has Wall Street been the major campaign contributor to Hillary Clinton?” They own Hillary Clinton and she will do whatever they tell her to.
Bernie Sanders is also 100% correct when he says that Hillary Clinton “vote[d] for virtually every trade agreement that has cost the workers of this country millions of jobs.” Hillary supported NAFTA and she supported the trade deal with China, Vietnam, South Korea – and if elected will implement the TPP she loves so much – guaranteed.
While Secretary of State,’Hillary Clinton racked up a $1 trillion trade deficit with China – all while China was funneling a small fortune to Hillary via speaking fees paid to Bill.
On immigration, Hillary Clinton sides with Wall Street too. Bernie Sanders correctly warned that open borders “would substantially lower wages in this country,” and yet Hillary has put forward a plan that would completely open America’s borders in her first 100 days in office.
On energy, Hillary Clinton wants to shut down the coal mines, block the Keystone pipeline, and destroy millions of good union jobs through executive action.
Her massive proposed increase in taxes and regulations will also send millions of jobs overseas.
Hillary Clinton will economically destroy poor communities, African-American and Hispanic workers on trade, immigration, crime, energy, taxes, regulation and everything else.
Finally, union workers have long believed in having an open and free society. Yet Hillary takes money from regimes that support the murder of gays and the enslavement of women while pushing to bring people into America who want to do the exact same thing to our people. I only want to bring people into our country who will love and support everyone.
Hillary Clinton is the enemy of working people and is the best friend Wall Street ever had. I will fight harder for American workers than anyone ever has, and I will fight for their right to elect leaders who will do the same. I will be a president for ALL Americans. (read more)

I’m an uncooperative member of an SEIU Union. Many, many many of us do not support the views and recommendations of our Union and are voting #Trump2016. We elected ourselves a R gov. 6 yrs ago. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of moonbats, LBGTQ and other generally goofy people too but just cause ya has to pay the dues doesn’t mean ya have to dance with the fiddler. (or you know what I mean)

One of the deepest, darkest secrets (worse than Hillbilly’s lost emails) are finances of the big unions.
Basic stuff like what goes to staff, compensation, benefits, operating costs, etc.
Follow the money.

I agree. It is well known that my union participates in all of the Soros backed agitprop and many as stated are not for that. Recent Right to Work legislation was defeated so dues are mandatory.

I don’t care for the term “other generally goofy people.” Many smart people (except for moon bats) that are LGBT that love America and support Trump. Trump tent is big tent for people who love America.

^This.
It has a name, Wilder Effect and so on, but what it means is that due to social shaming and the hostility of the Regressive Left, people just shut up or flat out lie who they will vote for.
But when they get in the booth, they pull the lever for Trump.
Polls suggest Trump is behind Hillary 5 points, but the hostility I am seeing from average people about the reaction of Obama and others to this event suggests we should ignore the polls and keep on the Trump Express.

Polls are notoriously biased/slanted to reflect the views of the pollster. The only poll that will determine/ reflect the will of the people will be the one taken on election day.

Screwauger,
As a 20 year member of the afl-cio (lower case intended), by way of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees union, I sadly credit our current president (and yes, glenn beck) with waking me up to the embedded corruption and political monopolization inherent in fascist, collectivist doctrine. I take consolation in the fact that “my” union is private sector, and voluntary (at least for now). However after I learned of an “opt out” form I could file with my International office, that would prohibit the union from applying my dues money to ANY political campaign, I filed it. I realize in the big picture, it is a symbolic “drop in the bucket”, but I considered it my obligation to do so. I have been a square peg in a world of round union holes for quite some time, but as the days pass, and the globalist mask slips more and more each day, my audiences have become more and more receptive. Mr. Trump is (as always) CORRECT! We, the “rank and file” are aware of the outsourcing of American (and union) jobs, and are finally willing to stand up and be counted. We simply MUST state our case, in a coherent, respectful, and common sense manner. I think that thankfully, richard trumpka’s (or any of his successors) era of power and corruption is coming to a close.
TRUMP/SESSIONS 2016!!!!!!!!!!!! MAKE AMERICA GREAT (and put her back to work) AGAIN!!!!!!

No, they will be outsourced from India, coming here as “trainees” that don’t collect a US salary while in country learning your job that you have to teach them, so they can go home to India after 6 months and do your job…

The unions are toast. The workers have seen them for what they are. I just wish that more American’s knew the truth about Hillary Clinton. Unfortunately there are millions of people who do not follow politics, have no idea of history and who simply think it would be way cool to have a woman as president. It is so sad.

Engage people at every opportunity. Some months back I was in a Wal-Mart and the cashier started grousing about things. I sheepishly asked if she was going to support Mr. Trump… She paused, looked around, and sheepishly said she was really thinking about it. She was a black lady working/struggling like everyone else. Nice lady. Point is, if you have the opportunity dont hesitate to make some points. You dont need to do a hard sell, just point out the potential ahead for everyone because the other side is only pitching at best more of the same… By the way, that Wal-Mart is in Indio California east of Palm Springs. I saw several billboards of a local pawn shop advertising “make America great again – signed a legal immigrant”
Folks – have faith. The tide is shifting. Thank you Sundance and crew for your stellar work too

AFL-CIO endorsement? No worries. We handed out more Trump bumper stickers for hardhats than for cars. The union heads totally underestimate their members. Who better organizes local campaigns than union organizers? The union heads sure did not do it.

Unions are first and foremost a BUSINESS!! Poorly run businesses, but businesses nonetheless. I would not be surprised to see many leaders voted out by the rank and file next time elections are held.

To elect whom? Union elections have long been thoroughly rigged. Anyone who really wanted to represent the rank and file members would never be allowed to run. (Or might have a face-to-face meeting with Jimmy Hoffa.)

There was that 🙂 I also found out how underpaid the good brethren were the first time I did some work for a very union shop – Owner of the shop wanted my services. Union steward said no way unless a union tech is with him full time at full pay. Owner said fine. I Figured if they were willing to pay both of us for me to do what needed to be done, I could ask for a bit more. Strange how that works 😉

Oh man, does that sound familiar.
I could fill a couple pages with stories like that.
A few years after leaving my IBEW job I ended up working for a union (also IBEW) shop as a Project Manager for several years.
Stories like you just related were regularities, and when doing work in the neighboring local I had to pull 3 of their guys for every ONE of mine.
The IBEW in Chicago is WAAAAAAAYYYYY down in membership from 2008.

What is known as the “chicago disconnect” only requires a pair of wire cutters. Your extension cords usually end up in 10-12 inch pieces. But let’s be honest, not EVERY union WORKER is lazy and dishonest. I have had to produce results in some of the most entrenched union cities, and a lot of it is truly affected by your initial approach. I simply state that it is my hope and intention to give the union member in question the opportunity to demonstrate to me, and my crew mates, that he knows how to perform his trade or craft, and more often than not, they almost HAVE to perform. I get “fruit” from that tree consistently. However, you can’t “save” them all.

Union leadership frequently is in sync with management and Wall Street, e.g. note how labor disputes seem to mysteriously resolve in time for leadership vacations.

Throughout this past primary season, I offered Trump signs and bumper stickers to every UPS and FedEx driver I saw. Every single one of them asked if they could have more than one. Not sure about FedEx but UPs drivers are unionized under the Teamsters organization. Rank and file love Trump!

Probably not all that many around Chicago anyway, as the economy of 2007/2008 had wiped out most of what was left after the slowdown at the end of the Clinton’s fake tech bubble.

This may just be the election cycle where the union leaders endorse the usual suspects (literally in Hillary’s case… she is a federal suspect) and the rank and file FINALLY vote for the candidate who actually has their interests at heart and will work for them. The rank and file is not stupid, they know which candidate wears a blue collar and which candidate wears a $12,500 Armani!

Very sad because like the corrupt career politicians, career union leaders are doing what is in their OWN self-interest, at the expense of their members. Nafta, TPP and open borders will destroy jobs but it guarantees increased fees paid to the union leaders in much the same way banks prosper from numbers.
The interests of politicians and Wall Street are in constant conflict with those of the populous. Remember this. SHARE! It’s a basic fact. Nothing will ever change this fact. It is inherent in both a highly socialistic and highly capitalistic society.

I personally got to know Richard Trumka back many years ago when he was running to be President of the UMWA. He is a self serving POS lawyer. In a matter of a few years he totally destroyed that union for his own personal gain in order to get to where he is at now at the AFL CIO. I equate Trumka, Hoffa, etc. the same as I do the Washington DC NWO elitist. They take the taxpayer and dues money and use it for their own corrupt personal gain. Just lowlife scum that the rank and file despises just like conservatives despise the entrenched RINO’s. Same exact thing. Trump will get the majority of the union rank and file vote. Bet on it.

Sundance I posted this elsewhere and not directed at anyone here. Just thought some might find it interesting if you make it go away won’t hurt my feelings.
I’m a union member supporting Trump. A man who knows how to work with union employers and get thing built.
If you negative commentators are citizens of these UNITED States of America I hate to break this to you but you are in fact dues paying Union members
A union is a tool. Exactly as a firearm is a tool. It can be used to protect against danger or it can be used to rob. I have seen both firsthand as a card carrying private union member. I also have seen how things have changed over the years and the abuses are much reduced.
Public unions are an abomination as there is no financial feedback. If a private union becomes a parasite and kills the employer, union (members) also will die. Gvt however just reaches deeper into our pockets while pointing a gun at out heads (misuse of a gun) to pay said public union members (at least until the host dies) thereby buying votes and bankrupting the USA.
“Executive Order 10988 is a United States presidential executive order issued by President John F. Kennedy on January 17, 1962”. Prior to this you could have a relatively easy gvt job and a decent retirement but less than private sector income. Your choice. However since JFK Gvt workers get all three and the load is just too great.
