Desperate GOPe – Mitt Romney To Campaign With John Kasich in Ohio…

Hopefully the good people of Ohio will recognize what the appearance of Mitt Romney on stage with Governor John Kasich exemplifies.  The cocktail class republicans are desperate to remain in power – by any means necessary.

Governor John Kasich is not on the ballot in most of Illinois districts.  Kasich also did not qualify for the Pennsylvania ballot.  He didn’t qualify in 2015 because initially his usefulness to the GOPe grand plan was supposed to be splitting the ballot in Ohio to the benefit of Jeb Bush.   Kasich’s willingness to go along with such a deceptive scheme should tell you all you need to know about where his loyalties are.

(Via NBC) Mitt Romney will campaign with John Kasich Monday at two stops in Ohio, NBC News has learned from a source familiar with the plans.

Romney is not expected to endorse the Ohio governor during the campaign swing, the source said, but it will be the first time Romney has campaigned on behalf of a Republican candidate this cycle.

Romney sideIt’s a significant move for the former Republican nominee, who previously recorded campaign telephone “robocalls” for Kasich as well as Marco Rubio.

Earlier this month, at a speech in Utah, Romney lambasted frontrunner Donald Trump as a “fraud” and warned of the dangers to the Republican Party if Trump were the nominee.

“I believe with all my heart and soul that we face another time for choosing,” said Romney at the time, “one that will have profound consequences for the Republican party and more importantly, for the country.”

Romney is expected to appear with Kasich at his events in Canton and outside Columbus Monday afternoon. The trips come one day before the crucial Ohio primary, a must-win for Kasich, as Trump ups his attacks on the sitting governor. (read more)

Could This Letter From Bill Clinton Cost John Kasich the Ohio GOP Primary?

All the Rubio supporters essentially have dispersed in OH, yet Trump is still tied with Kasich with about 8% undecided. The late deciders will determine who wins here. I think NAFTA and TPP and not being viable for nomination could hurt Kasich among them. But the stop Trump situation looks real given how low Rubio is here. With that said, if stop Trump forces vote Cruz instead of Kasich, then Trump may eke out a victory since 90% of Trump voters are committed (at least).

I can’t imagine that Romney will be of help in OH. There is no doubt he will do the opposite of what most voters want concerning the border, people who are here illegally and trade deals and Romney’s campaigning for just confirms it! Knowing that Kasich funding is coming from Soros who funds should be enough to make anyone question Kasich as a conservative.

  4. COLUMBUS — Ohio’s elections chief says nearly 70,000 votes have been cast ahead of the swing state’s March 15 primary contests. Registered voters in Ohio can cast ballots by mail or in person before Election Day without giving any reason.Republican Secretary of State Jon Husted says an informal survey of county elections boards on Friday shows almost 239,000 absentee ballot applications have been received statewide. His office says 118,542 requested Republican ballots and 111,712 request Democratic ones

Mahoning County Republican Party Chairman Mark Munroe, a self-described die-hard Kasich supporter who campaigned for him in New Hampshire, is taking calls nearly every day from Democrats wanting to vote in the Republican primary.

“And nine times out of 10, or 19 out of 20, you get the sense they are doing so because they want to vote for Trump,” he said. “It’s been fascinating to watch.”

“He’s getting Democrats to cross over,” Munroe said of Trump, “but he’s also getting a large number of unaffiliated voters — people who don’t participate in primaries.”

In Mahoning County, a northeastern Ohio county that includes Youngstown, 8,639 people have asked for absentee ballots. Of those, 759 were Democrats asking for the Republican ballot, and 1,053 were unaffiliated voters asking for the GOP ballot.

“We could have 4- or 5- or 6,000 new Republicans in Mahoning County,” Munroe said. “Which would be a very significant number.”

    • He is not a conservative-liberal views refugee, immigration, common core, job creation-losing companies-Missouri lady praying you voters make the right choice. No need for same old same old business as usual that does not work. When was your last raise in 12 years?
-We are living in a new historical time -Our Country must be kept safe-See Greece, Germany, London, we cannot sustain the world on our piece of earth-not enough Americans working even to support government- kasich is taking in large number of refugees to your state. God save you!

IMHO, this spells desperate on the Kasich side. To trot out Boehner and then Romney of all people means they are concerned about Ohio. This will make voters who were on the fence or who weren’t going to vote to come out in droves for Trump tomorrow in Ohio.

“I couldn’t imagine” enforcing our current immigration laws: “That is not… the kind of values that we believe in.”

Sounds like good ol John is right with Obama on this..

You are aware that George Soros donated to the John Kasich campaign.

  8. They are asking for help making calls today in OH. Trump said yesterday if he wins Ohio he will run the table! This is the time to show your support with action. Mr. Trump has been doing 3 rallies a day, risking his life, and missing his family for us. This is the least we can do.

Has anyone heard this? I just read on FB from a very reliable source that Jeb Bush will endorse Cruz on Thursday. Is this true? Has anyone seen anything on this? They are saying that if it is true it will be the kiss of death for Cruz and will prove that he is a sell out.

Jeb knows he’s unpopular everywhere in the GOP. That would be a hoot if this happened and the snake and his worshippers would have to explain this one away. The walls are caving in on Ted Cruz. Good. He deserves it!

Kelley Anne at Breitbart is paving the way for this by saying “Cruz did not go to the establishment, they came to him.”

Mr. Kasich has always given me the impression of being nice but boring. It is not easy to pay enough attention to him to find out what he really stands for.

Having Romney with him might cause people to take a closer look, and I am pretty sure that many of them will not like what they see.

If possible, Romney is even more boring–but offensively so and toxic.

The surprising thing is that Romney, Ryan, and Bush, and Beck seem to have this in common: They are so used to deceiving and manipulating the American voter that they completely dismiss the idea that we could have a reasoned thought in our heads and think past them. Their arrogance is evident in their over-estimation of their relevance vs available truths.

Evidently they will relentlessly keep uttering their verbal vomit since there is seemingly no end to the financial resources funding their efforts. However, they may choke on it.

    • rodney says:

Kasich is not a nice person. Nice people don’t vote to destroy their nation’s economy and throw millions out of work and into poverty and import tens of millions of 3rd world peasants to wreck the labor market.

Kasich is merely grinning sociopath who pretends to be nice but sticks a dagger in the back of America.

      He’s garbage.

Furthermore It saddens me that the people of Ohio are manifestly so dull as to support someone as governor that has made it his career to impoverish American workers and wreck our culture.

Kasick is a one-man magic act. Watch my right hand talk and be nice, while I steal and consort with cronies with the left hand.

It’s action which speaks louder, or should. If you vet his history at Lehman and as governor, you wouldn’t call him nice, at all. Insiders also say he has a short fuse. He’s schizophrenic in manner. That means one day, he’s extremely nice, the next day, he explodes.

Kasick also claims he reduced taxes but he in fact, increased spending in Ohio by a significant amount, and did the tax shift hustle like Clinton did, to increase economic taxes which depressed Ohio’s vigor.

It took this to wake Rush up? What did he think Kasich was all about? Too bad he wasn’t pounding Kasich all week instead of the day before the election.

the posts below we have to closely look at the transcript from today’s program to verify any of the statements made . Does seem like Rush is hedging his bets but look at the transcripts to verify. Someone posted below that rush defended Cruz on cruz’s dumb comments later in the show when someone called in so that’s not a good thing…

  22. Help Mr. Trump win OH! Go to Twitter and search kotcha@kotcha301.
She is in OH and will get you set up with calling voters. You give them your phone number and email and they will send you link to log in to call center. Sit in front of your screen and the call is placed for you on your phone (your number is blocked from recipient). They give you a short script and you update the response hit save and it will dial and call the next person for you. I made 15 calls in 19 minutes. I am going to wait until later today to do more because I got many voice mails. Still left the message.
Out of the 5 live people: 1 yes 3 no (1 Bernie) 1 undecided. We need help with OH. I am from IL and decided that Winner Take All Ohio is more important than calling in IL.
It’s not in my comfort zone either but I want to do my part to Make America Great Again and stop the march of the globalist oligarchs!

That’s why people have to call to convert them – with facts they didn’t know about Kasich!

He speaks nice and empty on purpose at the debate. Kasich is a crony. He pays his contacts by stealing from Ohioans. Then he massages the tax figures. He does what is called “tax shifting” – a technique he learned from Lehman Brothers. Kasich is the son of a mailman, yes, but he got away from it by selling favors to Wall Street bankers. Wall Street wants amnesty so they can profit from more bank accounts even if it means stealing jobs and quality of life from Americans.

Tell them only Trump can bring them real jobs! Please educate. This is our chance to educate them too for the General Election!

      Call, call, call!

I voted for DJT in Virginia Beach. I think we helped carry the state. I walked 3 miles to our polling station cause my battery died. I’ve never felt so strongly for a candidate in my life and I’m not exactly a spring chicken.
Just hoping tomorrow is a great day for him.
