Republican Oligarchy -VS- “We The People”…

trump oklahoma 1

(Via Bob Lonsberry) You’re not fighting Trump.

You’re fighting the people who are voting for him.

The anti-Trump effort being waged by the Republican Party is essentially a fight against democracy.

It’s not that this monster has raised himself up to threaten the ivory castles of the blue bloods, it’s that millions of people have stood up and said, “Enough is enough.”

It is they against whom the GOP establishment is fighting.

And that fight never turns out well.

Donald Trump isn’t Barry Goldwater in 1964, he is Andrew Jackson in 1828. He is going to storm the White House, and he is going to bring his unwashed hordes with him. The Trump campaign is built on the uniquely American premise that the people are sovereign, and that does not jibe with cozy arrangements of the country-club Republicans. For too long, the Republican Party has exploited its constituencies, instead of served them, and the beaten dog is about to bite.

Some have gone off after Ted Cruz, but most have gone off after Donald Trump. Together, something approaching 80 percent of Republican voters thus far this primary season have told the party establishment to pound salt. You have the clueless elite, and then you have the voters who actually care about America.

And they have picked up a baseball bat to drive the money changers from the temple.

It might be Trump who is being slammed upside the GOP head, but it is not Trump doing the slamming. It is the American people. Veterans and taxpayers, moms and dads, young and old. They are tired of being screwed, they are tired of being ignored, they are tired of being played.

And Trump is their tool.

And the Republican Party can resist them at its peril.

Because the people will be heard. In this party, or the other party, or in a new party. In this election, or a future election, but certainly someday they will be heard. What Donald Trump has done is crack open the door of opportunity, he has given the voters a choice other than Party Hack A versus Party Hack B. When you give the people a chance to order something that’s not on the menu, they do it.

Bernie tried on the Democrat side, and has failed.

Trump is trying on the Republican side, and is succeeding.

And the party is losing.

Every time you stand up and tell the voters that they are wrong, every time you disavow the results of your own party’s primaries, every time you pledge to disqualify the candidate backed by the people, you unleash a firestorm of pent-up electoral rage. Traditional Republican voters have been punked by their party in election after election, with promises unkept and problems unsolved for generations on end. They are now joined by new voters who are unaccustomed to docility and disrespect.

And it’s payback time.

Trump rally texas

While the Republican bosses go on the evening news to say, “Let them eat cake,” Republican voters go to the ballot box and say, “Let them eat lead.” This is one of those elections where they dip their finger in ink and hold it aloft as a sign they’ve voted. Except in this case it’s the middle finger.

And, yes, the goal is the White House, the objective is the federal government. But right now the Republican establishment stands in the way, and it can either be part of the solution or it can be part of the roadkill.

Thus far it seems intent on self-destruction.

And that’s fine by me.

Last night the people spoke, and the Republican bigwigs went into the backrooms to debate brokered conventions and third-party candidacies. Little did they realize that they were writing the last details of their own political obituaries.

Because this isn’t about Trump.

It’s about the people who vote for him, in record numbers. People who have flocked to the Republican ballot box in numbers unknown since the days of Reagan. The pigs at the trough of Republican power are condemning their party in the name of self-interest. They’ve got theirs, and they’ll be damned if anyone else is going to get any.

But they fight the unbeatable foe.

The American people.

The Republican Party is not trying to steal this election from Donald Trump, it is trying to steal it from the American people. It is trying to deny the franchise to those who fail to kiss its arse. It is declaring Trump voters second-class citizens.

And that never ends well.

A fish rots from the head, and all the Republican Party needs is a good decapitation.

Which every party attack on Donald Trump and his voters makes ever more certain. (source)

This article is spot on!!! It is the American citizens against the GOP establishment! We’ve had enough corruption and lies! We are taking back our country!
Huckabee stated it correctly today, “This is a Government take down and the Government should be glad its with ballots and not bullets.”

I have a neighbor across the street. She’s pretty liberal, likes her Birkenstocks and granola, and is generally pretty outspoken. She doesn’t care who she offends, although she doesn’t aim to do so just be difficult. We have numerous differences on politics but we’ve always been friendly and respectful of each other and she’s nice to my kids.

So today I was taking the trash out when I glanced towards her house and my jaw almost hit the ground.

She has a Trump sign in her yard.

    I always knew I liked her. 😉

Nowhere in World History has a people taken control of their nation and its government from a tyranny or oligarchy without violent insurrection.

We are at a coming divide in our national history.

The oligarchs surrender the government to us through the election of Trump or we stand down, accept the tyranny, the serfdom, the loss of sovereignty and democratic rights or we kill them and take back out country.

Harsh reality. But if you think this is not the case as we move into March and the next few weeks of elections, then you are not conscious.Corrupt men in power do not let go of power. It is pried from their dead hands.

We had to fight the King. Now we have to fight the oligarchy and the corrupt government.

If you think you will win with votes, and nothing more, I don’t think so. It has to happen fast and before Cleveland. If he is one vote shy, you will see the end of America.

Trump, is only one man, but he is an extraordinary one. It is pretty clear that he has read very widely and he cast from an entirely different mold from GOP “conservatives.” He has the leadership skills to make dramatic improvements if elected.

If the cuckservative-liberal alliance succeeds in stopping Trump, things will get interesting.

IF he is not on the ballot… write-in his name…

about the print screwing up the scanner… then we can ID
our own ballot IF the count isn’t “kosher” … grin. . .

You know they count the write-ins… which is how they come
up with the tallies for Mickey Mouse and John Wayne every
        election. . . (wink)

Don’t go in guns blazing just yet…
we still have the write-in vote…

        Here’s a plan. . .
IF his name does not appear on the ballot…
we can write it in. . .

There is always a space for writing in a candidate
and voting for him… which is why there is always
a tally of Mickey Mouse supporters and John Wayne
supporters after every election… people write-in
        those names…

So, don’t despair … we can always write it in…
maybe take an ink pad in there and put our
thumbprints on it to ID our own ballot…
when the count needs to be verified, we can submit
our thumbprints to find out ballots…

    • Gail Combs says:

Actually it is the middle class they hate because the middle class when free can move up and challenge their position. The goal is a two class system. A return to feudalism

The bourgeoisie, wherever it has got the upper hand, has put an end to all feudal, patriarchal, idyllic relations. It has pitilessly torn asunder the motley feudal ties that bound man to his ‘natural superiors,’ and has left remaining no other nexus between man and man than naked self-interest, callous ‘cash payment.’ It has drowned the most heavenly ecstasies of religious fervor, of chivalrous enthusiasm, of philistine sentimentalism, in the icy water of egotistical calculation….

The bourgeoisie has stripped of its halo every occupation hitherto honored and looked up to with reverent awe. It has converted the physician, the lawyer, the priest, the poet, the man of science, into its paid wage laborers. ― Karl Marx, The Communist Manifesto

Was Karl Marx and his philosophy about helping the ‘down-trodden’ or was it really about re-enslaving the middle class that had escaped serfdom? My comment on Karl Marx exploring Marx as an dis-info agent.

  7. Watch out for FNC and Miss Megyn tomorrow, the Donald will be going into a very hostile environment. He was right to skip last debate and they were going to embarrass him at the first debate. The moderators and all remaining candidates will be trying to trip him up. I remember this article from the first debate.

  8. the “pledge” donald is holding is a beautiful thing.
it’s a deal – it’s their deal – they forced him into it… mostly because it’s exactly what trump wanted.
now if they fail to follow through with their side of the deal and try to worm out sideways, it’s gonna bite them big-time. to dishonor their word publicaly is a shameful thing, and they will be shamed.
trump is a genius and a Godsend.

At the very first debate, when people weren’t sure if Trump was for real, he was asked if he would pledge to support the GOP nominee. He agreed. I guess the real question we should of asked, will the GOP honor the people’s choice for the nomination. The NRC wants the people think they care about us and the country, but everything they are doing when they don’t support Trump or at least remain neutral, is tell us, the people, that they don’t care at all about us, or what we think. That being said, how do they figure we would vote for anyone they threw at us. Pay attention NRC, we have made our choice. And that’s why we’re voting for TRUMP!!!

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. Most of Trump supporters are blue collar, the backbone of America. They are TOTALLY CORRECT. They are white, black, brown, yellow; They are middle income to some millionaires but we all THINK ALIKE. We are non-discrimatory. We are not racial. We have friends who are different colored skin than we are. We are Totally tired of the GOP telling us Who the candidate is! They do Not know it, but they are finished. one way or another. Unless the GOP & the Establishment wants all out war with 90% of Trump supporters best to Leave this alone, don’t Cheat Trump out of this. Let him get elected. Think you will be pleasantly suprised. WE are Not , repeat NOT GOING TO VOTE FOR ANOTHER CANDIDATE THAT YOU COME UP WITH. DUH..

    • Absolutely! We will vote for Trump in the general if we have to write his name in! They are such liars and cheaters – how fair is it to flood the airways with tens of millions of dollars of blatant lies (in Florida alone). Trump could throw money at it, but negative ads are very hard to counter. What they are doing to him here in Florida is criminal and they should be held accountable because it is Fraud: “wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain”. And that’s the perfect definition of what they are doing. I know public figures can’t sue, but can we as private citizens sue those SOBs?

  20. Who we have here is a very hard working man, who loves America, and takes pride in every thing he does. Seeing the picture above of how proud Trump was to sign the Republican candidate pledge and now knowing that the GOPe only used the pledge to trap him, they never had any intention to uphold their end of the agreement, makes me absolutely livid!

A few weeks ago Senator Jeff Sessions sent each Republican presidential candidate a 5 question test and Trump was the first one to respond, and I have yet to hear if any of the other candidates took the time to do the same. I know exactly why the rest of the candidates couldn’t be bothered, they even don’t believe in what they say and they sure as heck don’t want it in writing, which could come back to haunt them.

This is why Jeff Sessions, who never endorsed a presidential candidate in his entire political career, came out and gave Trump that great honor.

Well done. My anger is volumes more against the GOP than the dems.. At least the Dems are a little honest about what they think. But the GOP….liars, carpetbaggers, sissies, smarmy, elitist, priggish, evil Charlatans.
In the end, the Dems and the GOP are the party of One. So many of us out here for decades bought into the idea of ‘conservative’ constitutionalism, etc. We have seen good small businesses die because of their financial manipulations where their crony capitalists make trillions and the owners and their families endure empty tree Christmas’s, We see America’s poor told they don’t work hard enough, they shouldn’t have health care, their music should be misogynistic, not uplifting, their food should be loaded with chemicals, vaccines loaded with poison and always told that it is more important to squander the nations wealth in foreign wars instead of at home.
These are the Republican Masters of the Universe, the rocket Scientists of Conservatism.

  31. The writer of this article has bought into the idea that this country is a DEMOCRACY. We are a REPUBLIC. Better learn the BIG DIFFERENCE. These quotes will give you an idea. De3mocracy is MOB RULE. A Republic has RULE OF LAW that protects citizens against mob rule.
“Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security, or the rights of property; and have, in general, been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.”
James Madison, 4th President of the United States

“Democracy has been likened to three wolves and a sheep voting on what they will eat for dinner. On the other hand, a republic would be a society with laws that prohibit eating sheep, and every animal would be armed to protect themselves against wolves.”
Al Duncan, News With Views, May 27, 2011

“A lynch mob is an example of a democracy. The majority decides who will be executed; the only negative vote comes from the man with a rope around his neck.” Plato

“Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy that didn’t commit suicide.”
John Adams, 2nd President of the United States

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until [a majority of] the voters discover they can vote themselves largesse (freebies/welfare) from the public treasury. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy (taxing and spending), and is always followed by a dictatorship.”
Alexander Tyler, Scottish History Professor 1787

“Hold on, my friends, to the Constitution and to the Republic for which it stands. What has happened once in 6000 years may not happen again. Hold on to the Constitution, for if the American Constitution should fail, there will be anarchy throughout the world.”
    Daniel Webster

  32. Excellent; well written, cogent and clear. Sums up the current state of affairs perfectly. I cannot wait until we have President Trump in the Oval Office – a place that sadly for almost eight years has had a man who in his heart of hearts is more traitor than President.

  33. zephyrbreeze says:

American has given the average person an amazing opportunity to become competent purchasers of goods and services. We interact with hundreds of companies and people, and we make choices about what works for us and what doesn’t. We evaluate, and decide. We are professionals at it, most of the time, or at least we eventually get it right.

We understand the problems with monopolies. We know what it mean when our favorite perfume company is bought out by a mega corporation – and the formulation changed to save money – and now the perfume stinks. We understand “bought out” or “sold out.”

The Republicans and Democrats stink. Our Tea Party people went to DC smelling like roses and now they have a rotten aroma. We know how to connect the dots.

If you want a chance to see another change in the formulation – see 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. I’ve seen it twice. I’m going back to see it again while on the big screen.

Know people sitting on the fence politically? Take them to see 13 Hours

Obama and HIllary left almost 40 people, Americans, to die like dogs in a God forsaken hellhole. The drone was providing a live feed almost the entire time.

Trump rented out a theater for people to see the movie. It’s phenomenal. The real soldiers were used as consultants on the film, and they’ve said everything is extremely accurate – “exactly how it happened.” Every adult American who loves his country should see this movie. And then hold these people accountable with your vote. HIllary for Prison 2016.

  34. Troy Corbitt says:

I’m a 63 year old man. I had hoped to retire soon but Obamas are took that hope away. I am a republican because I dispose the DNC. I will never vote democratic party. I hope and pray that Mr Trump takes the White House in November. I hope so not for my sake but for the republics sake. The “democrats have almost totally socialized this formerly free enterprise democratic republic and it’s time for that to be undone.
