“The survey by the Docking Institute at Fort Hays State University, conducted in collaboration with The Topeka Capital-Journal and other Kansas newspapers, showed Trump holding 26 percent of support among Republicans. Among other top contenders on the GOP ledger, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz was at 14 percent and U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio at 13 percent. With 39 percent undecided, both Ben Carson and John Kasich were tied at 3 percent.”

Nothing Ted Cruz says is true.

I assume that Trump tried to soften his tone on immigration when speaking to them, hoping that they will cover him in a more favorable way.

Apparently to no avail – they are fighting him, he says the NYT is “onwed by Mexico”, and Sessions just endorsed him.

That’s my guess. The New York Times is adamantly in favor of mass immigration and amnesty, particularly their editorial page. He probably tried to soften things a bit.

Trump also gave an on-the-record interview with Byron York where he basically said he was open to negotiation. He said he would be very strong, but he’s not going to be totally rigid.

And, I don’t believe Senator Sessions is in favor of mass deportation. They just want to get the enforcement measures in before they make any deals on who to keep, who to let in, and what policy should be going forward.

I definitely want to see the wall built. Trump should not go back on that – it’s his signature measure. The wall would prevent what’s happening in Europe, which scares me to death and leaves me with a feeling of dread about the loss of Western Civilization.

I don’t even trust the date on the top margin. I even resent it when Drudge puts a link on its site without a warning that it’ll take us to the NYSlime. Whatever Trump told the New York Times or anyone else prior to yesterday’s endorsement by Senator Sessions is now irrelevant. He obviously promised Senator Sessions something to get his endorsement. Maybe Stephen Miller was sent in to get a feel for whether Trump was going to keep his word. But after that interview of Miller by Breitbart, I don’t know how anyone can doubt Trump’s sincerity about both trade and immigration.

–My Rush wrap-up after evidence fully analyzed today. tx if you read it.

By now everybody here has figured out that Rush Limbaugh is part of the GNN Globalist News Network. He demonstrated that today – massive defense with twists and lies and programmed guest call-ins to support. And then using the Dems full court Trump attack while calling all of us idiots and Cruz and Rubio both sweethearts and the only real conservatives.

It is plain to all of us that Rush is a full globalist and can only support globalists candidates. I suspect Rush gets some globalist sponsor money. But tries to select globalist candidates that at least have some social conservative side in them.

If you want to know what Trump feels about Rush right now.
Remember I previously stated that “what is NOT said is often more important than what IS said” and is expected to be said.

Trump comments on Rush last couple weeks – crickets. Nothing dead silence. Before that every couple days Trump would say I like what Rush said. Rush totally thought Trump would fade to his inside boys. When Trump did not fade Rush stopped saying nice things about Trump and started directly attacking him and his supporters.

Trump has to walk a silence line as he cannot afford to burn the Rush bridge if he truly gets the nomination. So he must keep silent and let the process flow.

Rush on his part is starting to seriously burn the Trump and Trump supporters bridge and he may soon have to give a positive comment to Trump or Trump supporters to balance his outright hatred. 1 bone for every 5 attacks balance. Otherwise Rush continues to lose his base.

Here is a copy of the letter I just wrote to Senator Tim Scott of SC.

    Dear Senator Scott:

I have followed your career with interest. I was thrilled when Governor Haley appointed you to the Senate and even more thrilled when you won the general election and achieved the seat in your own right.

Not being a citizen of South Carolina, I have no say in whom the South Carolinians elect, but since you intruded into my home in Virginia today to request that I vote for Marco Rubio in tomorrow’s primary, it is only fair to tell you that Hell will freeze over before I cast my vote for an immature, first-term senator who has accomplished nothing except run for elected office, who robotically parrots preprogrammed speeches, who authored legislation which would have given legal status to burglars who broke into my country and who would, if elected, continue the policies that have brought this country to ruin. That you and Governor Haley would endorse him in my opinion puts you in the same category as he.

Since I am not a resident of SC, I can never against you or Governor Haley, but I am certain I represent a number of South Carolinians who feel the same way I do but who have not taken the time to write.

    I Have Seen Shameful Things
By: Erick Erickson (Diary) | April 22nd, 2013 at 04:30 AM

    I Have Seen Shameful Things

I am an immigration squish. There are jobs Americans won’t do at the existing price point. We have a real need in this country for unskilled workers who will pick domestic crops and do jobs Americans will not do for a low wage. I know a number of people who came here illegally who are harder workers than me, who love this country, and who just want a job.More specifically, I know a number of illegal immigrants — a few of whom I represented as a lawyer — who have no intention of staying in the United States, but work here and send money back home. Most of them wind up staying because of the difficulty of coming back into the country. Contrary to the opinions of many, it is not an easy thing to come and go as an illegal alien.I think we need a program that is easy to administer, easy to apply for, and easy to use for individuals to come and go as they please during seasons of work to do jobs Americans won’t do at the price point these immigrants would.Saying all of that, I am deeply, deeply disturbed by the games being played by pro-immigration advocates on the right, including staff in Senator Marco Rubio’s office, Grover Norquist, and others. They are attacking other conservatives who disagree with them as racists, slavery supporters, bigots, haters, baby killers, un-Christian, etc. They are waging a coordinated attack between Senator Rubio’s office and others against conservative stalwarts like the Heritage Foundation and Jim DeMint. They are proposing a plan that thus far appears to be unworkable, is wholly too complicated, and is a distraction from issues that we could all agree on in the name of getting a plan acceptable to Democrats. In the process, their attacks on conservatives designed to intimidate, browbeat, and silence them opens old wounds and does exactly what the Democrats hoped to do — divide the right and play directly to the fears of Hispanic voters who have for so long seen political leaders of both parties demagogue the issue. Many of the people who want an immigration solution frankly could care less about hispanic voters. They see this as an issue the GOP has to get right on and they will do whatever it takes to get right on the issue. They are playing political games. Seeing self-styled conservatives and libertarians trying to pass any legislation that is labeled “comprehensive” should always be a red flag.I have seen friends paint others as racists, as sympathizers to abortion advocates, and as haters all to try to steam roll through their preferred policy solution. I have seen good conservative organizations attacked and lumped in with fringe groups. I have seen mainstream groups characterized as fringe. I have seen people whore their faith in the name of immigration reform. I have seen shameful things. What will be the cost paid in these attacks? These are not liberals attacking, but other members of the center-right. They now claim that maybe Boston would not have happened had this bill been passed or, at worst, at least with this bill millions of new immigrations coming into the country will be known instead of unknown. I’m sure the dead eight year old and his family will be consoled by that.I want an immigration reform plan that will solve the problems we now have with unskilled workers who come here illegally. I am not sure that the proposed plan will do that. What I do know is that conservatives should be deeply skeptical of Republicans who call upstanding conservatives racists and baby killers while allying themselves with the race baiters and baby killers of the left on this issue. The damage Lindsey Graham, John McCain, and Bush staffers did in 2005-2006 has not been undone. They called many Republicans bigots and racists who were not, but who stood in the way of their comprehensive approach to immigration. That created a great deal of distrust and animosity on this issue. Instead of trying to understand the legitimate concerns of those who opposed their plan, they tarred and feathered them all.Without ever trying to heal those wounds, those behind this latest push are tearing open new wounds.I think Senator Marco Rubio wants to do the right thing. I think he set before himself a good, but unpopular task. He should be commended for trying, at least, a Nixon goes to China moment on immigration. But I think the actions of some members of his staff coordinating attacks on solid conservatives is undermining the cause he and I both believe in. Ultimately, they are playing right into the hands of President Obama and the Democrats.Count me out. The cost of this to those who should be united against the Democrats is too great.

I guess he was against them before he was for them eh?

I always thought there was a degree of petty envy and jealousy on Rush’s part about what Trump was achieving. Trump, I believe, has done all this without any of the behind the scenes kowtowing to Rush , which he relishes despite his false modesty, like other Rep. Candidates have done ( I.e. Jeb , Rubio , Cruz) . I think Trump is good judge of quality and I don’t think he is overly impressed by Rush, the entertainer, as being some sort of political guru . I suspect if Trump wins presidency ,which I hope he does , Rush may fade into retirement

He also states that “more candidates will enter the race” on a 3rd-party or other entity if Trump and Hillary are the nominees. He calls BOTH Trump and Hillary “New York liberals” (paraphrase).
I’ll bet you dollars to doughnuts that Mr. Sasse was in that “Republican Senators’ Lunch” where Mitch McConnell said that Trump “will be dropped like a hot rock” and that Republicans can mount attack ads on Trump with McConnell’s blessing.

OK I just forced myself to watch Greta so I could get a handle on this Duke thing. She was trying to be very fair and I was thankful for that. She showed the Friday presser clip and then the Sunday clip. I can totally see why Trump answered the way he did on Sunday. The Sunday question was not “Duke endorsed you, do you disavow?” it was more like “what do you think of these groups” in a more analytical way. So if Trump isn’t hearing clearly or understanding what Topper was getting at, I can see why he answered the way he did and I don’t think he said anything that was necessarily wrong. He couldn’t have said “I disavow” because that’s not the question that was asked. He may know he doesn’t want their endorsement but that doesn’t mean he knows the ins and outs of their operations. And the fact that Trump said “give me a list of these groups” shows that there was a definite difference in what he thought Topper was talking about or getting at, even if Topper tried to clarify. And even if he had heard clearly, I still don’t think what he said is a big deal, because of the way the question was asked.

Greta had two people to comment. One of course was anti Trump but pretended to be neutral. Greta said, has Trump done anything in his past that makes you think he supports the KKK? The other girl said no, this was a strange confusing interview and it’s nothing like what he has said in the past. Greta said this is a serious allegation and people have to be fair. Clearly the other guy didn’t think so. Greta also mentioned sometimes it is hard to hear in earpieces.

I don’t know how other people think but I just don’t see how it’s a big deal. Even if Hillary or Cruz or anyone else said it I wouldn’t think it’s a big deal. Nobody could possibly think anyone supports those groups but you also don’t have to freak out about them. I think it’s ridiculous that he even has to explain this. I truly think the only people making a big deal about it are the people who aren’t voting for him anyway, and really are just trying to smear him. There is zero way any of these people think he supports the KKK. All around it’s a big fat “who cares?”

If Cruz loses Texas tomorrow, will he suspend his campaign? I haven’t heard him answer this question…..then again I haven’t been watching Fox News.

i suspect no. even if he doesn’t win the state he’ll pick-up some delegates. i expect cruz wants to trade his delegates in for a prize. like the way hillary traded the clinton-endorsement for a secretary-of-state position in the obama administration.

Like others, I too, taking one for the Team, tuned in to FNC this evening. The Special Report hour was absolutely gag worthy on any number of levels, including the “interview” of the AG, where Bret looked terrified. The rest of the show was a dump on Trump exercise, but at the end of the panel, all agreed that Trump would take most all of the states, except Texas (come on Texas!!) Greta has already been mentioned. Actually, I was watching to get to O’Reilly so I could see if he’d go full Limbaugh re the NYT article. It’s now 8:33p EST and no mention so far. He did have Hume on seriously clutching his pearls saying that HRC would wipe the floor with Trump. Wife and I are sitting here wonder if Hume actually thinks that Trump won’t bring out the hammer, the sledge, the backhoe, the 500 lb gravity bomb followed by the guided bomb. Anyway, off to read my books when the Factor is over.

Early voting started here in some counties of Florida today. I am in Orange County and I spent some time volunteering at a early voting location. My partner put out all the Trump lawn signs in front and we were standing holding a Trump sign. Many thumbs up and positive comments. Probably 7-1 in favor of Trump. Also there wasn’t anything there from either Cruz or Rubio.
    Trump will win Florida HUGE.

Be careful – Volunteering and being involved in the campaign to help Mr. Trump gets addictive! Lots of fun! Thank you for getting involved as Fla is So important!

Really all states this time are important as every delegate matters and the more the better to fight off a brokered convention or other dirty tricks by the GOPe!

Phone calls are getting really fun now! Lots of people have already voted for Mr. Trump! I made a few more tonight as I seem to now be addicted to calling for the campaign! (Ordering a headset tomorrow to make it easier instead of the regular receiver)
I don’t know but I am guessing that at this point we are mainly calling people already supportive so its easier than ever! Help us call tomorrow! Get involved!
I have Trump bumper stickers and almost every time I go anywhere I get into conversations with people excited for Mr. Trump and asking me do I have any more bumper stickers? Why, yes I do! 🙂
Also, had a supporter tonight who wanted to write to Mr. Trump so I could give out the address, thanks to the posting here the other day for another postcard mail in.
Tomorrow should be a very good day for America!

  30. I have a bad feeling about Texas. I think Cruz wins that one, and we are not going to here the end of it from Levin, Limbaugh. They are going to pretend states Trump wins do not exist. Not that it matters. It would be lovely if this race is over by tomorrow night.

You should have a “bad feeling” about Texas because every indication is that Trump WILL lose Texas. It won’t be any surprise and it’s a proportional state so he’ll still get delegates. But he may surprise us. And that would be great, together with all the other states he definitely will win. And I can definitely promise you I won’t hear one word about it from Levin or Limbaugh because I won’t be tuned in. I really don’t get all the negative drama.

      • if he loses Texas, I will be a sad puppy. The fact is without Texas, Cruz is done. I have not listened to Levin or Limbaugh for years. Sometimes people post YouTube snippets like today of Limbaugh show, but I refuse to support these charlatans. I want Cruz defeated here and then in the Senate. I wish there was a brave candidate to take on this fraud and beat him in Texas.

I agree that Cruz is out immediately if he doesn’t get Texas, but he’ll be as good as out even if he does get it by the current margins. It’s all over but the crying for the GOPe. Everything they do from here on out is just pulling back the curtain. It’ll be the stuff of NYT best sellers for years to come.

          • The enemy is Clinton. I know the GOP says they won’t support Trump but if both of his challengers are knocked out in their own state, they will have no choice. I am tired of all this daily drama. 😀 Every day, those two bozos are making up lies about Trump. Heck, even Ben Carson today was saying GOP is not dense enough to elect Donald Trump and it’s a mistake.

      • I don’t. I have not listened to their radio show for years. It’s just people tweet snippets and parts of their show, and sometimes I click. It’s never more than 3 or so minutes. I get my news on Twitter, Reddit, and here. If something is posted there, I see it but I never tune in to Rush, Levin or any of these shows. Why would I? Listening to these treacherous individuals for 2 or 3 hours every day is insane

    • it depends on the results, if the Donald wins most of the races tomorrow, there is no need to go to the debate. Let’s see … a trap called a debate on a network that supports Rubio and has proven its dishonesty with the incentive to derail the Donald any way possible. Why should he go? Then again, he wasn’t hurt from the last debate.

She makes herself look like the hateful, petty, agenda-driven fool that she is. Something like this can’t POSSIBLY hurt Trump at a debate now. It can only help him. And probably help him big time.

About Rubio and Cruz, they need to stop acting like little children and grow up, if they really want to president of the USA. We need someone with the balls to not back down from the big issues that the USA is struggling with, including ISIS. With Hillary, look at her saying what the public wants to hear but look out if she gets in. All you have to do is look at the past track record.

Nothing personal but I feel I can run this country and get it straightened out, as good if not better than the candidates that are bickering and pointing fingers at each other.

    Sincerely,
    Ralph Dunmire
