It is a movement. Carrier jobs migration to Mexico is the US human tragedy and the whole country is being devastated by it. People who aren’t insulated from it are desperate, many are broke, demoralized, and just plain scared. And people want safety.

The liberals (what is wrong with them?? Planet Neptune?) they just don’t get it, and the ‘Let them eat cake’ crowd.

So good to see this movement happening. This movement to make America great again. Meanwhile, Mark Levin is trying to associate Trump with Sanders on healthcare. Also, intimating that Trump is just like a dictator. Gallahger is trying to make a big stink about Trump repeating what a crowd member’s comment about Cruz. What the hell is wrong with these idiots. I was so incensed and tried to call the Levin show but all I got was busy signal. I was about to give him a piece of my mind. Arrrrgghhh!

I don’t listen to them regularly, just while in the car going from here to there. Used to like Levin for his passion on the constitution but he lost me with his full-on support for Cruz. Really can’t believe he would be so ignorant of the fact that we just had a 40-something freshman senator with no experience in leading anything but a campaign. So, we got 8 yrs of a great speechifying senator from the left and now Levin wants a great speechifying senator on the right. Doh!!!!

The other thing Levin was ranting about was that Trump said bad things against conservatives. Duh! Yeah, the conservatives we thought we voted for the last several election cycles. Actually, since Bush 2000, that’s 15 yrs! Not a whole lot of conservatism going on in that time span, don’t you agree? But Mark Levin says we have the only true conservative running since Reagan now and questions why we hate him? Really? We don’t hate him, we know he’s a phony, that’s all. Ugh!!

Can someone tell me Trumps exact plan on how he is going to bring companies that have moved out of Ameica back to American. How is he going to force those companies to relocate to America. Who is going to pay for the companies to move back? Will it be the company or the taxpayer? All I hear from Trump is he is going to bring back the jobs that have left America but has never once given specifics. I’d like someone to explain how Trump is going to do this. Also exactly. How is he going to greet Mexico to pay to build a wall.. again Trump has not give any specifics. Can someone give me the specifics on how Trump s going to force Mexico to pay for this wall. What exactly are his plans for health care? If he is getting rid of Obama care what is he replacing it with? Who is paying. For it? Please give specifics. What exactly is he going to do about ISIS? What exactly is his foreign policy? I don’t want to hear Trump is going to make America great again…I want to know all of his plans to accomplish that task. Talk is cheap, I want to know the specifics.

Have you ever heard of tariffs on goods? They used to be used quite effectively to balance trade. Many of our US MADE Goods have tariff’s as high as 50% placed on them when sent out of our country for sell. (I am in manufacturing). Trump has hinted around at using tariff’s in the other direction on goods coming into our country. This would remove the incentive to leave the country to take advantage of cheap labor.

I’ll give it a try. The companies that go overseas will be charged a tariff on their goods coming back in making it less profitable to do business overseas instead of home. The companies will want to come back they will be losing so much money.

The Mexican immigrants come here to work and they Western Union most of their wages back to Mexico. Mexico is currently making more money from this than they are from their oil. Trump will charge a percentage to send these funds back, a high percentage. The result will be Mexico will beg to pay for the wall to get this revenue back.

Trump plans to repeal Obamacare. He wants to lift the restrictions that have kept health insurance companies from selling policies across state lines which has created monopolies and driven up the cost of healthcare. This fair trade will drive costs down and we can return to a time when healthcare and insurance wasn’t so expensive.

Trump plans to cut off the finances of ISIS from the oil companies they have. He plans to hit their foreign bank accounts and have their assets frozen. Then he plans to let our military have the resources they need to win this thing and wipe ISIS out. He plans to surround himself with top military people to advise him on these things.

These are Trump policies I have heard him talk about at rallies, his written policies, and in interviews. He has some very well thought out policies written down on his website. He just isn’t whistling Dixie. Hope this helps a little.

I have been to Trumps web site and I cannot find anything on healthcare. I have always thought heath insurance should cross state lines to make it more competitive. Also I have always thought that a cap needs to be put on for the use happy who use a doctor just because they can. If the person who uses a doctor and they loose then they should have to pay the doctor his lawyer fees and court costs. I can see if a doc amputated the wrong limb then sue. I have no desire to watch the 12 videos oh him talking. Frankly I see enough of him on the news. As for the companies coming back to America I do not see it happening. It.costs money to move an entire company to Mexico or China. Bringing it back to the U.S. probably won’t be cost effective. To do so the company would have to pay higher wages to employees especially in any state that has raised the minimum wage. Basically companies will have to weigh the price of the tariff vs cost to relocate and the taxes they would pay even if they lowered them and the differences in wages they would have to pay American workers. All in all the thing I do not like about Trump is in the past he has broken bread with too many democrats. Like he invited the.Clinton’s to what was it his third marriage. I am sorry if I was rich there would be no way I would ever invite the Clinton’s anywhere for any reason. It would be principally and morally wrong to break bread with Bill due his sexual escapades and Hillary being an enabler. I would stand on principal and I don’t want to hear it was a business deal…like his donations to democrats in the past. That is why I supported Hobby Lobby…they stood on principal all the way to the supreme court. How many of us have mocked Obama for being a.Narcissist? Listen to Trump and how many times he uses the word “I” Listen to how many times he has to say “I” am winning in the polls. There are times that if I didn’t know his voice I would swear it was Obama talking. My last part is the comment about a POW not being a hero. Trump has never worn the uniform or fought for this country so he is absolutely clueless what a POW goes through while in captivity. As a vet I found that extremely offensive and if Trump had eve worn the uniform he would have never spewed those words.

        Trump on Healthcare

        Excerpts from the 2011 book
TIME TO GET TOUGH 2011 by Donald Trump

Chapter Eight: Repeal Obamacare pg 121

Former Speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi said Congress had to pass Obamacare so we could find out what’s in it. Now we have. And what’s inside those 2,733 pages is a job-killing, healthcare-destroying monstrosity. It can’t be reformed, salvaged or fixed. It’s that bad….. If it is not repealed before then [2014] it will be more than another failed government entitlement program — it will be the trillion-ton weight that finally takes down our economy forever.

        Obamacare is Killing Jobs

… Businesses like Boeing, Caterpillar and Deere & Company are already tallying up the job-killing costs… These companies will now have to find $150 million, $100 million and $150 million respectively — and that is just the cost of meeting one provision…. Where does Obama think these sums will come from….

But what about small businesses that are struggling to grow and would love to hire more workers? Those are the companies that will suffer the most under Obamacare. And don’t forget, small businesses are our biggest job creators….

Obamacare Will Destroy Patient Choice and Explode Spending

… The reason prices vary so much from state to state is because states differ wildly on the kinds of mandates they require in their coverage plans. As Devon Herrick, a senior fellow with the National Center for Policy Analysis, puts it: “If consumers do not want expensive ‘Cadillac’ health plans that pay for acupuncture, fertility treatments or hairpieces, they could buy from insurers in a state that does not mandate such benefits” Increasing competition is common sense. We need to pass laws that encourage it.

        Real Tort Reform Right Now
…Pricewaterhouse Coopers did a study to see how much defensive medicine adds to overall medical costs. They found that the phenomenon accounts for at least 10 percent of all medical costs. That’s huge.

It’s not hard to understand why doctors engage in defensive medicine…. Democratic vice-presidential nominee John Edwards… was a world-class ambulance chaser. In just twelve years Edwards won $175 million [He probably kept one third] in malpractice judgments by suing doctors, insurance companies, and hospitals for causing infant cerebral palsy. And this despite the fact that the American College of Obstertricians and Gynecologists has stated that the vast majority of cerebral palsy cases have nothing to do with the way the baby is delivered….

The courts are clogged with these cases” says Dr Cecil Wilson ….

…we need serious tort reform… we need to cap damages for so called ‘pain and suffering’ at $100,000. We also need ‘loser pay’ laws… if the charges are deemed baseless— a system followed by most other democracies…

Trump spent 5 years in a military school (High and Jr High) but was never in the actual military.

Flashback: Trump Saved NY Veterans Day Parade Marking 50th Anniversary of End of WWII
“From the New York Times in 1995, another report that mentions how Trump came to the aid of the parade when the organizers had less than two dollars for the parade.

Nonetheless, from the beginning, this year’s organizers have skated on thin financial ice, government approvals have been slow and lining up things like Sherman tanks and marching bands has been difficult. “There has been a constant awareness everything could fall apart at any time,” Mr. Fox said.

Organizers received no contributions from the 200 corporations they asked, among them military contractors to whom they presented documentation of profits made on weapons used in World War II.

“Zippo, dada, zilch,” Mr. Fox said. “Nothing from Northrup, United Technologies, none of them. To me, it’s a sin.”

By mid-August, organizers had a bank account of exactly $1.21. A request to airlines to donate blankets for aging veterans was turned down because logos might not be visible on television. Then Donald Trump, a nonveteran, agreed to throw in $200,000 as well as raise money from his friends, in exchange for being named grand marshal.

Since then, money has come in, though not enough to meet the original budget, which was reduced from $2.9 million to $2.4 million. Fireworks were just one of many cuts.

A 1995 video report archived by Getty Images features Trump speaking about the parade.

“The fact is you have a group of people that has been so tremendous for this country and they’ve been forgotten. And I think that tomorrow they’re going to be remembered.”

This was not Trump’s first time supporting the New York Veterans Day Parade. In 1987 Trump gave $1 million to help the parade when it was in transition, according to a history of the parade reported by Business Insider in 2013….”

re: Jobs – not exactly what you asked for, but I think gives some insight as to how it’s going to be done.
Basically as I understand it, cut corp taxes, get rid of most of the regulations that make it impossible for our companies to compete, make trade FAIR, not free; other countries place tariffs on US goods pricing us out of the market, we’ll return the favor. If the US stops buying their goods, who is going to replace that demand? We have leverage because of our buying power, Trump intends to use it.
Mexico must pay for the wall and, until they do, the United States will, among other things: impound all remittance payments derived from illegal wages; increase fees on all temporary visas issued to Mexican CEOs and diplomats (and if necessary cancel them); increase fees on all border crossing cards – of which we issue about 1 million to Mexican nationals each year (a major source of visa overstays); increase fees on all NAFTA worker visas from Mexico (another major source of overstays); and increase fees at ports of entry to the United States from Mexico [Tariffs and foreign aid cuts are also options]. We will not be taken advantage of anymore.

ISIS – he’ll partner with others with the same goal (see Russia). #1 – Cut off their funding (illegal oil sales and back channel funding from terrorist networks). As I understand, many of their fighters are with ISIS simply because they pay the best. Cut off the pay, lots of hardcore jihadis will defect or just go home. When and if US moves on ISIS will be large scale and decisive act, not fly 10 sorties a day where only 25% of the munitions actually get dropped.

Why do people ask about specifics for Trump, but rarely do so for others? He lays out some pretty clear plans almost on a daily basis but people complain he lacks details.

Carrot and stick on companies. The corporate tax rate will be lowered to 15% to incentivize and tariffs could be imposed on countries in bilateral agreements to level the playing field. Yeah, it’s not “free” trade, but we don’t have free trade, we have lopsided trade right now. Feel free to check Trumps website before asking such a basic question next time.

Trump could have easily filled Raymond James wth 65,000 if he really wanted to. The overflow was at least 10k outside. A note for all the dimwits who whinge about Trump making deals with Democrats:

Democrats are as American as Republicans. The reason your country is in so much trouble is because you’ve allowed yourselves to become balkanised. Smart businessmen (which means Trump) place no purity tests on good ideas and hard work. He wants to make America great again, which means harnessing the passion, energy and dedication of every single citizen with a will to make that happen. He’s talking the Big Tent, where everyone who loves your country is welcome to contribute to its resurrection. Hell, you won’t succeed without every able bodied hand to the wheel. Nobody ever ran a successful business by excluding customers or employees who don’t think in lockstep with the boss. Nor by only stocking merchandise that personally appeals to the boss. You welcome the best from wherever it comes. You hire the best and you let them do what they do best. You lead. You don’t micro-manage. And you don’t beat the opposition by denigrating them. You beat them by being the best. The only way you will defeat the corrupt establishment is by recruiting every decent person who is sick of that corruption. So stop getting your own way. Welcome everyone who wants the same things you do, regardless of labels. If you don’t, you won’t win.

Maybe the name should be Refuge for Trump lovers only. For the record there are things I like about Trump and things I despise about him. For example his comments about females like Csrly and Rosie. Why attack Carly’s looks? How weak of a man is he that he had to attack her looks. Attack policy don’t stoop so low and attack the individual. Wonder what Trump would say if people mocked that lovely double comb over he has. His comments about POW’s was over the top for me. Wearing a military uniform while in high school is not the same as actually serving this country in uniform. The last thing is the way he swears like he is at the local bar on a Friday night. I don’t want a President that spreaks that way I want one that can be a role model and can get the job done without stooping so low to swear to make his point. I do not think that is the way to deal with other world leaders. He will be representing we the people not a reality tv show. He is every bit as narcissistic as Obama and I don’t know if our country can take another.president like that. I am leading in the polls, I am leading in the polls, I am leading in the polls. Your concern is duly noted. Perhaps you would like to have another pandering, posturing swill elected president that only gives lip service and does nothing for the country but enriches the special interest groups.

The sand that you have your head stuck in will pull you in even deeper until you are swallowed whole.

Since you seem to have the ability to read, though not necessarily comprehend, perhaps a bit more of analytical thought would be a boon to your rather positive outlook on negativity.

Nobody is perfect and no one ever will be. Your criticisms appear to be a self-defense mechanism against your own misguided way of thinking.

What other person running has put their own resources on the line? Who else has as much skin in the game? Tell me one, just one and perhaps your debasement of someone might actually have some credence. You cannot name anyone else that is sacrificing as much for this country in running for president.

So take your condescending and juvenile behavior back to your friends on the narcissistic sites and commune more with them. It is not appreciated here.

Or to put it another way:

In other words, you want the Barack Obama, John Kerry style of diplomacy. Wonderful! You must be a door mat in real life. That’s not what patriotic Americans are looking for. Sorry.

      • Lorac says:

See how quickly you attacked me personally. I have to ask does it make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Are you proud of yourself for being so rude to someone you really know nothing about? Do not question my patriotism to this country unlike most of you I have worn the uniform and I have sworn an oath to protect the constitution. My parents are both buried in Arlington National Cemetery, and my husband and I will both be interred there as we are both vets. My son served in both Iraq and Afghanistan and has health problems from serving. What I want in a President is one who will uphold the same constitution that I have sworn to protect. I do not want a President who doesn’t know how to control his foul mouth when addressing the American people. Not all of us were raised to have gutter mouths and are intelligent enough to know that when dealing with people you do not need to lower yourself by using four letter words to get what you want. Let me ask you would you go to your boss and tell him his ideas are effing stupid or would you be a bit more diplomatic about addressing his ideas. Unless you wanted to find yourself in the unemployment line I bet you wouldn’t us we the word effing to him or her. I certainly am not a door mat I was taught to treat people the way I would want to be treated a lesson that some of you were never taught. I am looking for a President like Ronald Reagan who knew how to speak to foreign leaders to get what he wanted. That is the type of diplomacy I would like to see. For example Regan said Mr Gorbachev tear down that wall….imagine if he said Mr Gorbachev tear down that effing wall! Would the results have been the same? Notice I never called anyone a dimwit, windbag, etc. You are all so brave to hide behind your little computers calling people names …would you do the same to someone’s face? I am unsure who I will vote for but I can tell you I have not drunk the Trump koolaid that some of you seemed to be stoned on. It is way to early in the game to make my final decision before the primary I would vote in. I couldn’t imagine some of you being at the Iowa caucuses trying to sway someone to vote for Trump..As soon as someone voiced an opinion against your own you would attack and call them childish names like a bully on the playground. Yes that would definitely sway people to your way of thinking…not! To those that provided some useful information thank you. To those who chose to act like bullies with the name calling, etc. It has me wondering about the character of some the people who will vote for Trump. God Bless America!

It is sad that the tree house has sunk so low that it allows its posters to act like they are still in grade school trying to be the biggest, baddest bully on the play ground. I have to laugh at the immaturity of some of the posters that they feel the need to still act like 3rd graders.

Trump has not talked much about deportation the last couple of months, so I hope he’s not going soft. There’s not point in building a wall if we don’t deport the 12-25 illegal aliens inside our borders. There are many people who have seen the safety and cohesion of their communities wrecked by the onslaught of illegal latinos and don’t think they’re so “terrific”. Most of us never got to vote to transform this nation into Brazil via mass third world immigration, both “legal” and illegal.

So in last night’s debate, the “racist liberal” moderator asked Senator Cruz “but Kennedy was confirmed in ’88” boos were heard but if you listen carefully, someone is laughing aloud “A Hah Hah Hah Hah”. Is that Robert Murdoch or George Soros laughing in are face?

I have replayed that exchange between Cruz and the moderator at least 10 times and still can’t figure out where that laugh is coming from. All the candidates have open mikes, and it’s not from any of them. Does any one else know what I am talking about, or am I just gaslighting myself.

Forget it, the laughing was most likely on behalf of that the progressive-lib racist PoS muz-loving anti-american c-sucking m-fking moderator.
