I thought this was a great interview. One can’t listen to Trump for long not to realize he makes a heck of a lot of sense. I don’t normally like Wolf. He was respectful and most of all was not combative and rude (interrupting like Chuck Todd and Stephie).

Good interview–didn’t bat an eye–answered all questions directly and convincingly.I can’t imagine what M.Kelly could possible ask him in a “kill shot” that would derail him. Can you?

This interview reminds me exactly of the 60 Minutes Baba Wawa interview. It’s very fast-paced. It makes me think that – in both cases – Trump negotiated control of the editing. There’s no time left in this interview for snarkiness. None of the pregnant pauses and raised eyebrows that Mike Wallace used to use to imply that someone was full of sh*t. Somebody from the Trump campaign was looking over the shoulder of whoever edited this. That’s a testament to his negotiating skills. Put this man to work FOR us.

We decided not to watch the debate. Fox is shoving it in our face by using Megan “I hate Trump” Kelly.

If anyone saw her show with the National Review AHs then they understand. Sick of her Trump bashing…. as if we would change our minds because of what SHE thinks!

What an excellent interview and the responses from Trump couldn’t be more spot on! The man emits positive radiation of a “can do” spirit. I am excited in anticipation of what I hope will be a great victory in Iowa and all the subsequent great states. Go Trump 2016!

Trump encourages and energizes me I try to watch/listen to every speech and interview that SD posts here. I can’t wait till his inauguration. Just not looking forward to watching the worm (Justice Roberts) swear him in.

      • Interesting that you mention the inauguration. Your comment got me thinking: if he draws record crowds now, can you imagine the crowds he will draw to Washington when he’s inaugurated? It staggers the mind…

He doesn’t have to be sworn in by Roberts. While it “tradition” to having the Cheif Justice administer the oath, it’s not law.

I would like to see Trump make a statement of belief and be sworn in by the man he has expressed great admiration for: Clarence Thomas. Furthermore, Justice Thomas has more than earned the honor of doing so.

A lovely idea and what a statement it would
make on many fronts. Roberts is a traitor and would
put him back in his place, the blacks would like
it as well, notwithstanding that Thomas is a
republican. And the best part, it would in
a small way make up for all the garbage and lies
thrown at that man for decades.

BTW, I read that Hollyweird is making a movie
          about Anita Hill.

  7. Some observations

Megan Kelly changed her appearance to appear more manly. My guess to stand up to trump.
CNN dramatic commercial. Road to the white house shows past competitors going head to head
but the ending match up is Bush vs. Clinton.
Hollywood puts out movies that appeal to what the audience feels. A lot of movies about behind the scenes control of populations have come out. This would be the truth they know about and what the general public feels. Example Matrix, Oblivion, Starwars.
The music artists sure put out a lot of songs that have the theme of trying understand the chaos in the world.
Trump is the clear winner, but yet the media won’t give up.

Yes, and thank you for highlighting it, I think it is significant. Remember what happened to Rosie? I think Trump learned from that how to handle the Rosie’s and it was clearly a shot across the M Kelly bow. Fox may not care and be willing to throw M Kelly under the bus for the Uniparty, but I don’t think she is such a true believer to be willing to be a sacrificial animal.

        • TheFenian says:

Absolutely it was a shot across the bow, just like the “pencent for sexism” takedown of Clinton.

Nobody has said it yet, but if you look at Trumps statements in recent days about the misandrist Kelly, he has already caused her irreparable harm.

She’s in a lose/lose situation at the debate. If she attacks him after this, she looks petty & unprofessional, if she doesn’t attack him she looks frightened & beaten.

We can safely add M. Kelly and her professional reputation to the schlonged! list.

I watched this earlier on mediate and thought one commented :

    “Greggers • 3 hours ago
The guy is a comic. There is no one that is off limits to his critiques. No wonder they all want to gang up on him. For months, they huddle in a corner while this guy rubs their face in the mud over and over and over. All they do is take it and act as if it didn’t happen. This guy is singlehandedly emasculating the entire US political class. It’s unbelievable.”

My impression this poster was spot on.

And of course, Trump is absolutely right about Megyn. We all know this. Well, REASONABLE people know this. I watched her show tonight because I heard she was having Glen Beck on. Ugh!

She started with Stirewalt and Kurtz – Trump, polls, Trump, Iowa, Trump, debate, Trump, more Trump, and even more Trump – mostly snarky – every bit of it!

Stirewalt said something interesting about the upcoming Fox debate:
I actually wrote the whole thing down, but I’ll just quote his closing words

*….it’s going to get weird in there [at the debate], and this race will look totally different on Friday – I [Stirewalt] promise – than it does today.”*

(This, after they talked about Trump being number one in all the polls.)

Then she had Beck on for two entire segments (13 minutes not including the ‘tease’ previews).

She followed that with a “Trump supporter” – someone I’ve never seen before, and he was on for all of 4 minutes, and that included a ‘moments ago’ clip of Beck before designated “Trump supporter” was allowed to respond. In that 4 minutes, Megyn kept interrupting him, whereas she allowed Beck to just go on and on and on…. In fact, she EGGED him on!

THEN – Karl Rove and his White Board made their appearance.

To quite a trite truism: “fairly unbalanced”

Wolf Blitzer and his media storm troopers will never cease trying to be the thorn in Mr. Trump’s shoe.

There have been comments dating all the way back to FDR and Churchill regarding Roosevelt’s awareness of the press and how they will annoyingly react to his every move during WWII.

We’ve had nothing but a worsening, decade by decade, of the media’s psychopathological desire to destroy this country. Mr. Churchill said it best. “Socialism cannot exist without a propaganda machine behind it.”

It is a monumental sea change in that Mr. Trump is able to manipulate the media to the point where the wolves are now eating docilely, relatively speaking, out of his hand. But he has been nobody’s fool into being lulled by their siren calls for “friendship.”

REPEAT, Mr. Trump’s brilliant handling of the media is one of the two biggest reasons that he will be the MOST capable President to deal with these jackals, trying to tear his flesh and policies apart 24/7. The first is to build the wall and secondly to tear down the media, building the wall brick by brick with their tombstones.

Give Trump a lot of credit for exposing how irresponsible the media is with its First Amendment rights. To the point of Solo’s quote of Churchill: There is uni-media to support the uni-party in America. Like ISIS, the uni-media must be destroyed. And in some ways, it looks like Trump is already starting the job. He knows he doesn’t have to be president to take on the dishonesty. Smart. And patriotic.

Agree – Trump is starting the job, but he cannot finish it all by himself.

That’s were WE come in. As we are no longer silent, the voices of tens of millions relentlessly attacking the media – with calls, emails & on social media – can wreck the propaganda machine that has destroyed this nation and our culture.

Trump has given us a voice and a firmer backbone. Let’s roar and attack on all fronts.

Couldn’t have said it better, Fenian. The American people need to take advantage of what Mr. Trump has laid the groundwork for. I still say the the media and lack of Congressional term limits are the two biggest political wrecking balls that have laid waste to the country. Hand in hand they have created the Uni-Party, with the help of an apathetic public.

  15. I love reading the comments but until 2 days ago, I’ve never commented. Trump said “I know somethings about Megan.” I have a feeling that if she tries anything over the top, he’ll hit her with whatever he knows. My opinion, but the man knows his enemies and info is power. Truthfully I’m leaning toward Trump but I still have some reservations. I scratched Cruz off my list couple weeks ago so don’t go all negative on me. My reservation is Trumps lack of constitutional knowledge. I wish he spoke more about the stomping by the liberals/RINOs on our constitution and what that means to this country as a whole. The Cold Anger article was what got my attention when I was doing a search for conservative websites. I’ve shared that article numerous times. It sums up my attitude/feelings to a T. Just know Sundance, you’re my go to site this election season and my sincere thanks for all your hard work.

My grandson plays soccer. Lots of Hispanic kids also
play soccer. When we go to the Max in McCook near
Chicago, there are crowds of parents watching the
games. I have never heard one of the Hispanic
parents speak English. Not one. Same at all indoor
and outdoor games where there is an Hispanic team.
