        • Not only roasted and toasted but, DAM IT he is not constitoootionally (levin) eligible. Wish Trump would pound away to that point. The democrats will if Cruz is nominated. Levin and Rush will not engage in that eligibility conversation

I’m with you grainofsalt. Cruz is not fit for public office. Including the Seanate. Including the Supreme Court.

I don’t understand how Lauren Stephens can present such a damming case against Cruz, a case which screams for prosecution and sentencing, and then turn around and promote him for VP, to be followed by his Presidency. It’s illogical.

Ms Stephens was in need of a proof reader and, clearly, someone to challenge her assertion that 1) Cruz is a liar & a law breaker & a hypocrite and 2) she supports him being President for 8 years after he is Trump’s VP for 8 years.

Ted Cruz public office holder ? No. Just no. Go home to Calgary.

As you say, assertion number one by Stephens contradicts assertion number two. With Cruz, what you see is not what you get, and it has been a disturbing revelation how untrustworthy he is.

          • Sandhill says:

Agree, Stephens presents a good case of how untrustworthy Cruz is which to me disqualifies him for any trust from anyone. He can not be trusted to continue the battle that Trump is waging and this battle will take longer than 8 years to get accomplished.

The funny part is that Donald would have fired him for this dishonesty on his television show. He’d have been fired no question. Donald was being up front with Rafael Eduardo Cruz when he told him he had some things to get cleared up. Unfortunately at that point for the Canadian, he was already out of time on his filings. I don’t think Donald would bring him on now that he exposed his character flaws.

I really cannot understand these people (not directed at you, necessarily, SouthCentralPA) who, out of their own mouths, acknowledge Cruz’s non NBC status, his ethics issues- all of that, AND that Trump is the best candidate for president, yet they STILL want Cruz mixed up in it somehow. Where are these people coming from? WHY does Cruz deserve this special ”mentoring”? Why is he so ”essential”?

I’m not geting any answers at all. Only further arguments that he must be included. It’s weird.

i think Levin will shred this letter not because he can defend any error in the research, but to have its author go to such length to diminish Cruz’s fitness for office based on credibility issues and then turn around and suggest he be put in the VP slot and perhaps after 8 years get his own gig is simply mind boggling. How does someone come up with such a convoluted result? I would have suggested an independent proof reader before posting this letter.

This is comedy gold! GOPe blames Trump for GOPe atrocities, then argues that Trump is the tool of the GOPe. They are confessing and then trying to claim Trump as one of their own. Because of this, we must choose one of the remaining GOPe candidates.

I found Beck mildly interesting, yet weird, when his show was on HLN. As soon as he moved to FOX, all filters were off and it was clear to me, from day 1, that this guy was a coo-coo for coco puffs conspiracy freak with a very low intellect.

I’m curious when others realized what he was. Was it when he started the blaze and reinvented himself as an un-Biblical end times prophet who sold gold & cowboy hats?

I think he’s unstable. I think the only reason he’s gotten as far as he has is b/c he’s stolen and climbed on others, not b/c he’s bright.

I first saw him on FOX. I knew he was scattered and not a clear thinker, but some of his shows were interesting. I didn’t think he was evil until recently though.

      • TheFenian says:

Georgiafl – Beck will never attain a state of honesty and/or humility. Beck is a career con-man. Con men change their schtick to keep the cash flowing, but they never change who they really are in their heart of hearts: hustlers.

Beck’s first incarnation was as a hard partying, coke snorting, joke telling, foul mouthed, pornographic, left-wing shock jock. But that con ran it’s course.

He reappered a few years later reinvented. This time in the lucrative field of conservative leaning talk radio. With a gift for story telling and a mostly positive, uplifting show, his con found a nice niche.

Then FOX grabbed him and he reinvented himself once again. With his black boards and psedo intellectualism he found his greatest con yet: preying on the week minded and low information people who are susceptible to conspiracy theories. The glitz and glam of being a major cable TV star was so intoxicating (and lucrative) that he had to constantly up the ante on the coo-coo. He pulled off the biggest craziest con in cable history.

Then came the Blaze. What does a con man do when he’s already pushed the envelope on batsh-t crazy ? A con man goes for the REAL money; a pseudo televangelist ! Become an Elmer Gantry for the modern era with a TV show that reaches millions of rubes, suckers and morons. Who needs those low-Tec tent revivals to pull in cash when you can con millions through fiber optic cables ?

Thus we have the current reincarnation of the every changing schtick that is the con-man Glenn Beck: a full blown conspiracy nut who backs up his apocalyptic forecasts with non-Biblicle phrophesies, scaring the daylights out of the mentally unstable and elderly. Plus, he’ll be happy to sell you gold bars ! Plus, he has a line of blue jeans & cowboy hats !

Oh and the special events !! Come to Alabama ! Join him in the “Never Again is Now” march for unity ! For SPECIAL marchers who “restore unity” by paying $1,500, you will be given a “preferred march spot” at the front part of the line, very near to Glenn ! And Glenn doesn’t want to publicize it, but he WILL be wearing a BULLIT proof vest, so pray for him by sending donations !

So as I said, Beck will never be honest, never be humble. It’s not in his character. He is a con man. He was a con man yesterday. He is a con man today. He will be a con man tomorrow.

Beck was on CNN before going to Fox. I will have to defend him on one thing. On his 5:00 pm Fox program, he exposed a lot of Obama appointees (czars as well) and their leftist backgrounds. He is almost entirely responsible for Vann Jones resigning from the administration. I believe the White House got to Roger Ailes and Ailes tried to put the lid on Beck so Beck left Fox or was fired.

I never followed Mr. Beck, so I don’t know much about him, but I always thought he seemed like a failed actor, maybe he is and that is common knowledge, I don’t know, I am just saying what I see without much background on him.

No reason I can see for him to have failed. I think he would have been great as a regular on Sesame Street or Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood. I am not being facetious. He might have been able to pull off a Shakespearean villain in summer stock or a guest starring role on Law and Order.

So I see most of what he is doing as an act. I’m an Orthodox Christian, so his Christian stuff freaks me out. It is these types of Christians the left sees most in the media, Mormons, evangelicals, prosperity preachers, etc., with a progressive Catholic thrown in every once in a while. No wonder they think Christians are stupid.

I hope I am not insulting anybody, but theology matters. Christians should be intellectuals, cultivating their minds, not using free-association. At least Mitt kept the magic underwear on the inside of his pants.

    Just my 2 cents.

“Endorsments” funny you should mention that. Establishment shrill and phony “constitutionist” Mark Levin opened his discredited radio show on Friday night bitterly mocking the effectiveness of “so called conservatives” (ie: Schalfly & Palin). He claimed that such endorsements have no meaning. LOL !

He then bitterly mocked those who call the writers of National Review’s latest edition “establishment”. He said “Since they’re so establishment we won’t talk about them any more! Does that make you happy ? And while we’re at it, the Founding Fathers were establishment TOO. SO WE WON’T TALK ABOUT THEM OK ?”

Yep. That’s right Mark. The “Founders” are JUST like the pundits of National Review.

Mark Levin is a pathetic, lying, constitutional hypocrite and fraud. He’s done. Washed up. Finished. Looks like his future stepson is working for a loser too. Maybe Levin can get him a job in Mitch McConnell’s office next time.

That was a passionate but respectful plea to Levin to not sell out his principles from someone who is obviously a fan and an ardent grassroots activist, the kind of people the Republican Party relies on to win elections. There is something very rotten in Denmark, if longtime conservatives are canceling subscriptions and writing these letters.

The Bush family has run the GOP party into the ground. Donald Trump might not be the second coming of Reagan, but he obviously supported the man. I watched her video of the 1988 convention in New Orleans. There was also a video of Trump talking to Oprah about running for president, such a young man! But he was the same person. That would be such an effective ad proving that Trump always sounded like this. He is authentic in his love of country and the American people and our freedom!
