Well – after over 3000 posts on Breitbart they just blocked me from posting. Been smacking Cruz trolls around all day with facts, links and logic – the last half dozen posts comparing Cruz to Hillary for turning a small initial investment into a windfall and getting caught (once again) for ‘inadvertently’ misremembering to file this investment and windfall from his Caribbean holding company…and when caught by the senate ethics committee ‘mistakenly’ identifying the company name, city and country it is domiciled on the restated financials.

Been reading posts from others saying that BB is pro-Cruz / Mercer controlled media outlet but just brushed it off as hyperbole.

They were dead on. Any of you still post on BB read posts from ‘Pull Pistols or Whistle Dixie’ on the Cruz Suggests Trump Could Be Democrat (http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/01/17/2799669/) and reply that the poster (me) has been banned.

All Muslims believe the same thing and the more ‘Devout” kill people for the religion of peace. all people who are not MUSLIMS are infidels and considered the lowest for of LIFE. I picked up a line at Atlas Shrugs that has stuck with me, I believe it originated from Walid Shoebat…’the extreme, radical moslem is the one who wants to live at peace with others, and not force their way on everyone’. (paraphrased)
I am very much afraid that is what underlies everything, we are in an existential struggle with an ideology so different from ours both can’t survive and live together. Being ‘devout’ to a moslem is 180 degrees opposed to the idea of ‘devout’ to a Christian, or any other, Westerner.
It’s them or us. We are a threat to them simply by existing and trying to live our own way. In the end I don’t think there is an alternative, although I do hope I’m wrong about that.

What’s the big deal? It’s now not uncommon to hear many Christians say “2 Corinthians” (or Timothy, Kings, Chronicles, etc.) instead of “2nd Corinthians.” It’s not wrong, it’s not ignorant.
It’s a changing language usage issue — possibly partly regional, partly within certain segments of Christianity. I’m not sure which; maybe both.
The fact that Trump’s critics are not aware of that may say something about their own level of knowledge re: Christians and Bible reading.

Rush said basically. “You know the Establishment is saying Trump is a going to be a dictator and that his followers will follow him no matter what. That is what those rascally Establishment are saying. I am just reporting this because someone has to say it, And I hear the Establishment likes Trump over Cruz.” This is “gaslighting”. We are not sure what we hear but we doubt ourselves.

But here’s my question. If a white church says it is the duty of Christians to resist the madness the Left pushes upon it, the lesbian mayor in Texas tries to issue warrants and subpoenas for their records.

But if a BLACK church says vote for democrats because Republicans are monsters, everybody is cool with it.

Rush has famously never backed a candidate in the primaries. I’m a longtime fan and listener, and he is generally fair about it. It is obvious when he’s picked a candidate he likes though. Romney in 2012, and Cruz now for instance. It’s basic human nature, and he does try to be fair. It’s not as crazed and blatant as the attacks from Levin.

It’s been getting bad though the last few weeks, and today was really bad. Rush has usually been very sneaky and subtle with his jabs agains’t Trump, but today the mask fell off a bit more than it should have. It’s obvious, that the NY Values kerfuffle and other linguistic killshots from Trump are taking effect on Cruz, and many in the Conservative Media don’t like it one bit.

I don’t listen to Rush unless I’m in the car so I have no opinion. What I see happening though is the NY Values thing was a huge fumble by Cruz which caused Trump to make a touchdown. That scared the Cruzers like Rush and Levin who have loved the guy since he went to the Senate and read “Green Eggs and Ham”. They think he’ll stand up to the Establishment (which he won’t). What Cruz and everyone else except Hillary is up to is to make his fortune in politics (Hillary has already made hers on politics she just wants to hang onto it)…make his fortune in politics so that when the country goes over the cliff, as it will without Trump, he’ll have a parachute. That’s why he’s running now instead of when he’s older — the cliff is getting closer. He wants to make his money while he can. Same with Rubio. Bush just wants to protect his. They’re all crooks save for Trump who I believe genuinely thinks America can be saved if we just stop the hemorrhaging.

Does anyone else notice how Trump has honed his addresses to feel more like a fireside chat than a political rally. He seems to be talking to each individual…simple language; topics easily understood by all; hints on how to be successful, handle stress and make the most of one’s capabilities. He makes fun of himself, slightly self-deprecating when appropriate, and laughs WITH the audience instead of AT them, which The Arrogant O has always done.

I find myself watching all the videos Sundance posts several times as Trump tweaks and refines with each one, and it’s interesting to see him advance his platform this way. Does any one else recall a candidate handling a campaign in this way?

When he was in Burlington VT Trump talked like a Vermonter. I lived there for years and after a few minutes I realized I was listening to someone who knew the vernacular. The rural Vermonters have very mild self-deprecating mannerisms, and they often interject, ‘but what would I know’, after an assertion, especially when they know the assertion to be correct. Trump used that expression in Burlington at least once, maybe a few times, and I had never heard that from him before.

In Pensacola Trump brought out the expletives in situations where the military I knew would use them and today he sounded like many of the (good) teachers I’ve known.

He’s very subtle, nothing like the obviously fake Hillary drawl when she’s in the south.

Burlington really blew me away, I thought I was listening to people I knew back then. It really adds to the trust factor when you hear someone speaking to you via mannerisms and expressions you are familiar with.

Rush can enjoy what’s left of his dwindling entertainment empire while Trump is “Making America Great Again” as president.

Now we have Rush supporting lying Canadian Cruz – Obamatrade, Amnesty (yes, Cruz is for it and only a dolt would not see it), Corker, and running for president when he’s not eligible.

That makes Rush pro-usurping foreign presidents, pro-Amnesty, pro-Iranian, pro-North American Union.

Go tell some ‘birth certificate’ jokes, Rush, you coward.

100% agree. Some how Cruzbots and Rush seem to think Trump is Cruz’s servant.

Trump was suppose to do all the work and then let the Canadian-Amnesty-Obamatrade-GoldmanSachs-Corker-I’ve introduced legislation-Harvard lawyer-charisma challenged – Cruz who couldn’t make it on his own step into the position of nominee so he can lose it all in a landslide against two of the biggest losers around – Hillary or Bernie.

I listen to him most days for entertainment. He has spent a lot of time defending and explaining and enjoying Trump. They know each other.

Rush has gone anti-establishment for about five years now. I think the Romney thing did him in.

I believe if he could he’d hold the matches for anyone who is wanting to burn the establishment playhouse down- whether it be Trump or Cruz or someone else.

      He’s done.

Makes absolutely no sense why people would support him. He would lose in a landslide . I know I would be staying home that day along with majority of trump supporters. Cruz can absolutely not win, it’s impossible.

Yes, Cruz would lose in a landslide. Cruz is not going to be the nominee though. He just hide behind Trump the longest (to avoid the onslaught coming his way – little conniving weasel that he is) and so is the last vessel Trump’s opponents have to stop Trump. So he’s going to get the biggest, hardest beating from Trump including a lawsuit if necessary.

If Rush really said that, that’s quite a slam on Cruz. I’ve quit listening to the chattering class. As Trump said about Fiorina, “Gives me a headache!”

Thats the way it was in the transcript and my larger point is that we ought not alienate Rush or others who are seemingly on the fence with Trump. We’re trying to build a movement. I agree with about 52% of what my wife of 24 years says, so if I can agree with anyone at a 60% clip, its phenomenal. I think Cruz is a scumbag, but I can see why some may like him. It means Trump has to defeat Cruz, but not scorch the earth of all of his supporters. Anyway, just my opinion that we’ll be better off when Trump has a large mandate to govern that even the truly feckless traitors in the GOPe can’t stifel.

A little hint to understanding how Rush does it.

He doesn’t say “I, Rush, think this or that”.

Rush says “So and so says Trump is a liberal,
a clown; his policies will never work”.

Then he says, “So and so loves the fact that
Ted Cruz is the best conservative ever known in
        the entire world”.

You have to read between the lines to get it.

In fact, I’m not sure why I even voiced my opinion….I’m not carrying water for Rush and only listened to him today because I had the day off

I can trash Cruz all day long, but its more fun at Breitbart because of the immediate splodey heads from his increasingly desperate minions.

Cruz is a hypocritical narcissist and must be defeated. I trust Trump will effectively eviscirate him.

Over many years of Listening to Rush, I started to HEAR his Deceptions, but i have Read many Books~~Papers & Internet Sites of all kinds. So yeah, “repeal AND REPLACE”… replace with something that DOES help people be able to afford their healthcare. Rush played the clip at Liberty University where Trump is talking about religion and reading II Corinthians and said “Wow–I have never heard Trump talk so much about religion! The MSM will go crazy reacting to him now.” He didn’t say that in a negative way.

He also said the nature of politics is that the closer we get to elections the rougher the back and forth would get——-and many conservatives had gotten used to thinking Trump-Cruz. but at some point that split has to be made because only one can win. He said he has never considered his audience “mind numbing robots”–that we could make up our own mind.

Hannity basically said the same thing—–make a list of issues that are most important to you and pick a candidate that answers the most important ones for you.

Growing up, my Dad was a big Zig Ziglar, Norman Vincent Peale, Robert Schuller fan because he is all about being positive, enthusiastic, and giving whatever you do 120%! Dad wants everyone to win, and as such an Encourager to all, he really shares Trump’s energy, heart, and generous spirit to see America and her citizens succeed!
