Latest YouGov National Poll Bolsters Trump’s Confidence as Trump’s Strength Protects Cruz…

Candidate Donald Trump holds a commanding lead in almost every poll.  While the media broadcast public polls, the internal polling actually drives the campaign activity.  With that in mind the public polls provide ‘retrospective’ to either support, or undercut, the activity of the campaign itself.

The latest report from YouGov is one of many which highlights why Team Trump is slowly shifting focus toward a more general election race.  Another good summary of indicators is Available HERE:

You might have also noted candidate Donald Trump referencing today’s Reuters polling trend in earlier interviews.  Apparently that’s because the trend shows the number two and number three candidates have peaked, and now are moving back into low double digits.

Reuters poll screengrab 12-29-15

More detailed analysis of the current Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio trend is available HERE

Again, this current data leaves Donald Trump in a comfortable, yet always cautiously optimistic position.  There’s no place for football spiking – yet confidence is appropriate given the current disposition of the opponents.

A month of attack ads against Donald Trump (paid for by Rubio, Kasich, Christie and Bush Super-PAC’s) lie ahead, and Team Trump know the best way to identify the incoming is to be on point.

Trump announcing his preparation to launch his own campaign ads is notification to all that he remains prepared, on message and all resources locked and loaded.

Team Jeb however, have been pushed back toward a position where their heels over the precarious cliff.   There is indeed a palatable air of desperation showing up in the campaign messaging.   The Jeb machine is running out of options; and those political advisers who are financially dependent on the Jeb Machine are now in the phase of quitely reflective self-preservation.

The Jeb Bush campaign water cooler conversations turn to whispers now and contain over-the-shoulder glances before speaking.

The collective GOPe splitter team (Bush, Rubio, Christie, Fiorina, Huck, Kasich) is in the 20-25% total range of polling support – a solid ten points behind Trump…. with time running out.

The space to thread the needle has shrunk significantly.  GOPe attacks against Ted Cruz will now most certainly backfire and further send support toward Donald Trump.

In essence, Trump has the GOPe right where he wants them….

….the GOPe collective is lacking support, and if they attack the top tier (Trump or Cruz) they only assist Trump, not themselves.

Ted Cruz is ironically being protected from the GOPe attacks by the impenetrable shield of Donald Trump, and the desire of the GOPe not to assist him.

That’s encouraging – add this one to boost it higher!

WND just announced Trump as “Man of the Year” !!!!

Think this is great news – since they tended to be pro-Cruz. I’ve been posting there for a long time and pushing Trump since he announced and giving facts on Cruz, hoping it would change some minds. You’ll love it ! excerpts:

“They treated his campaign announcement as a joke. They tried to destroy his business. They called him every foul name they could come up with. But at the end of 2015, the biased journalists, political consultants, leftist activists, snarky comedians and embittered critics of every stripe had to concede one man had beaten them all.

Donald J. Trump is the Republican favorite for president of the United States. There’s no indication he’ll fall from the top spot any time soon. And he’s the WND 2015 Man of the Year.

“It is my great honor to be named Man of the Year by your publication,” Trump said in a statement to WND. “I very much appreciate your informative polls and coverage. Together, we will Make America Great Again.”

Donald Trump is the Man of the Year because he’s already changed the primaries, the Republican Party and the country itself. And no matter what happens now, there’s no going back.”

Make Cruz prove that he is a natural born U.S. citizen. The only way that can be accomplished is by having him produce a valid U.S. birth certificate. Once that is done, then have him prove that his parents were U.S. citizens when he was born on U.S. soil.

Oh, you say he was born up there in Canada? O.K., then insist that he produce his required Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA).

    canada.usembassy.gov/mobile//consular_services/birth-abroad.html

If Cruz cannot produce this CRBA, then he should have had a passport. If neither are produced, Cruz is an undocumented alien and an illegal U.S. Senator. If he has either form, Cruz is a statute citizen, whose U.S. citizenship falls under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). Therefore, Cruz is a naturalized U.S. citizen, not a natural born U.S. citizen and ineligible for the office of the POTUS under Article II of the U.S. Constitution.

Cruz is in a pickle and his followers and supporters are drinking pickle juice.

I wonder how much he is just psyching out the opposition. He’s been saying all along he’ll lay out big $$ but simply hasn’t. Listening to the pundits since he made this announcement, the smart ones are saying he needs to spend on the ground game to get his supporters registered and to the caucuses/polls.

Also, SUNDANCE, if your reading this, you should do an article on how the media is now daring all the Trump supporters to get out and vote. Pundits are now constantly asking if the Trump supporters are serious or just a bunch of “fair weather friends”.

I think Trump has been investing in the ground game and will begin the media ads when he feels the time is right. Right now, he’s getting free face time every day that is worth more than the collective negative ad spending of the GOP candidates. The pundits are full of it–we are all ready to vote and then they will see the tidal wave, but it will be too late for them.

Trump will attack the Clinton Crime Family boldly on all fronts and at all times and at this he will not flag nor fail. He will never succumb to the siren call of the Clinton’s propaganda ministers that permeated the television waves, nor to the fear of the GOPe to do battle. He will not bargain with the Clinton Crime Family and its propaganda ministers and gutter rats. He will not try to reason with them as the Clinton Crime Family and its gaggle of lying lackeys and deranged dingbats will grant no quarter to him and if they can, they will destroy him and his family and all of America without remorse.

Trump will follow the Queen of Crime to the inmost recesses of her mind and make her fear and dread the very sight and sound of him. Trump will never let up and he will make the Queen of Crime’s fear of him permeate her thoughts from when she first rises very late in the morning until she passes out again a few hours later, where she will have only a respite in between her waking nightmares as her day of reckoning approaches. Trump will make the witch howl.

Hillary’s precious little psyche has been wrapped in magic bubbles all her political life. She does not have the intelligence or toughness or the TRUTH to defend against Trump. Trump is playing games with the Clintons and sowing very personal, very intimate seeds of anger, fury, hatred and irrationality between Bill and Hill and within the larger Clinton camp.

The Clintons can put on the brave face and the false bravado, but no one will buy it. Confusion and division are blooming. The Grifters are getting exposed.

      To MFM:
The Great (conservative) Pretender Cruz is still a #2 threat from many naive Iowans. Trump needs somehow to leak Ted’s hyprocrisy and Globalism on critical issues, maybe without Donald’s fingerprints so not to turn off Cruz voters. This is difficult since most of Talk Radio is covering for slippery Ted and they would be the perfect vehicle.

Cruz’s WSJ article along with known Globalist Paul Ryan pushing hard the TPP Obamatrade sellout is one that slick Ted cannot wiggle out of — the “McConnell lying to me” lame excuse does not apply here (the WSJ article) and could then even be used to further Ted’s insincerity to vote yes on TPA and the “no” coverup on TPP.

Trump could expose Ted through a third personal ally in the media and then Donald at Iowa rallies could speak more on some specific “big time” damages that this 6000 page disaster does to America and its workers, perhaps without even mentioning Ted.

Likewise (thru a third person) with Cruz’s vote on Iran /Corker and maybe then Ted’s “me too” insincerity.

Anyway the “Great Pretender” somehow needs to be exposed, esp. to Iowa Evangelicals ASAP, (maybe to the background parody of the Platters greatest hit record).

Any other ideas on how to do this? Cruz’s greatest asset is his “thoroughbred conservative” ID and this false narrative needs to be pierced.

I want this fraud exposed ASAP; it’s ridiculous that Globalist Ted has gotten away with his “true blood” conservative persona and phony “me too” on Trump’s issues this long. Email any sympathetic media star and beg them to do this starting with Lou Dobbs. Feed them the proof about two-faced Ted.

Just in from H. Brooke Paige.

“On December 9, 2015 – I filed a complaint against the State of Vermont,
Vermont Secretary of State James Condos and Attorney General William
Sorrell seeking to prevent various errors in the Presidential Primary and
      General Election.

As detailed in the attached complaint, these errors include: preventing
the printing of the names of Constitutionally unqualified candidates on
      the ballots
, preventing the counting of signatures on defective petitions
and rejecting the Consent of Candidates forms that do not bear properly
verified signatures of the candidates as well as various other issues
relating to conducting the Presidential primary and general election by
the Defendant, Secretary of State James Condos, on behalf of his employer,
      Defendant, State of Vermont.

As you may remember, my 2012 effort to resolve these issues was
intentionally delayed by Attorney General William Sorrell representing the
State and Condos until the Courts could no longer provide any of the
relief sought in that action – Sorrell is named as a Defendant in this
action in a effort to hold him accountable for any such attempts here. The
one outcome from that case was Sorrell’s offering of an opinion in oral
arguments before the Vermont Supreme Court that while he did not believe
that I had standing to bring the case as a mere citizen of Vermont ,
despite clear and simple language in the Vermont Election Code (Title 17)
that stated that I had said standing, that another candidate certainly
would have prudential standing to bring the ballot challenge. I have
announced my candidacy and am circulating petitions to be included on the
Presidential Primary Ballot in Vermont, thus satisfying Sorrell’s
      prudential standing objection.

Since the Washington Co. Sheriff did not affect service of process until
December 11, the Defendants have until December 31 to answer the complaint
as of this date that have yet to do so.”

From what I have researched about Cruz, and please, if anyone has better knowledge of this, correct me….but was Cruz’s father a U.S. Citizen when he went from Cuba to Canada? When did he apply for Citizenship to the U.S.? Since Cruz was born on American soil, and did his mother renounce her U.S. Citizenship while in Canada? Her birther said she was born in Delaware, which makes her a U. S. Citizen, but beings Cruz was born on Canadian soil, and where I read “parents” being U. S. Citizens, doesn’t he have to apply to become a U.S. Citizen and when did he do that?

As far as Cruz attaining Mormon faith people, wouldn’t that be the same as attaining the support of Catholics also? I don’t feel that is a big deal, and probably got that from Glen Beck, who he is close to which is of the Mormon faith.

As far as Rubio is concerned, has he showed his birther and are his parents Citizens of the United States? And because he was a member of the Mormon church when he lived in Nevada, that in my opinion shouldn’t have any thing to do with attaining a Mormon vote anymore than trying to attain a Catholic vote…

Since Cruz’s mother was a child of immigrants, were HER PARENTS US citizens when she was born, or was she an anchor baby? Trump repeatedly has spoken out that anchor babies are not natural citizens.

Also did she give up US citizenship to get business tax breaks in Canada before Cruz was born? Was she a US citizen on the day of Teds birth?

Where she was born is not proof of her citizenship (anchor baby?) If you still believe it is, do you believe that a US citizen who renounces US citizenship and officially becomes a citizen of another country is STILL a US citizen?

Note: I keep repeating “US citizen” because Cruz and Rubio talking about “American citizen” might be indicating any citizen of any country in North America or South America, which of course would include both Cuba and Canada.
By “American citizens” we mean US, but globalists might mean the continents.

When you talk about citizenship issues, always say “US” and not “American,” and “US citizen” and not “American citizen.”

He realizes that it is far far better to serve in Heaven, than to reign (if anyone could anyway–yet another of the deceiver’s lies) in hell.

Soros and the rest, including <0bum0, Clintoon, and pretty much all of the fed pols have swallowed hook, line, and sinker the devil’s lies that they can reign or at least be on top in hell, including on an earth made to resemble hell by their actions. They are wrong. They will be fodder for the devil and his demons, just like all who reject God’s grace.

The most important thing, at the moment, is whether they will take this nation down with them or will we turn them back, with Trump as one of our weapons?!

There’s plenty more of his hits on his Instagram, that he blew out via Twitter and fb. I would add him speaking at the front end, asking, “Is This What You Want? How is HE Ever Going to Make America Great Again?

VOTE For #TRUMP2016 and Together WE WILL #MakeAmericaGreatAgain!”

He should tailor the ends to include the primary date for the state it runs in.

DT needs to inform the electorate about Cruz’s anti-USA actions via Corker Amendment, TPP, H1B etc. visas that directly harm USA citizen workers, amnesty, his whining excuses about being lied to or misled by McConnell, etc. Make it clear Cruz is not being honest about his “conservatism” or his capabilities–his actions show neither is true.

Leave the birther stuff (which may have more traction when the candidate can’t just throw down a race card) for others to pursue on a state by state, litigation basis. That’s where the challenges have to start to be effective, not in the media.

Can’t help but wonder what the mainstream GOP machine will tell the party and the public when general election time rolls around and they have to admit they spent all their money fighting Trump instead of Hillary. It’s going to do two things. !. it’s going to make them look really stupid. 2. It’s going to prove once and for all that they never really wanted to win the election with the peoples choice.

  17. As things, pre voting, are taking shape, I am still wondering who The Donald might pick for a veep running mate ???? At first I was thinking Cruz but with Cruz’s support of TPP and H2B, kinda goes against The Donald’s stand on going after China for our jobs etc. Because the Trump message has always been about “pick me because I’m a winner”, picking one of the “losers” as veep from those running and fading away, doesn’t make much sense either though. I would think by now he’s already mulling possibilities if not making some initial contacts. You guys have any thoughts on this or do you feel this is just too early to bring to discussion ????

Rudy’s out. They’re both NY’rs. But I suspect he will be tapped to serve the country in some special way. AG is not out of the question, many forget that prior to doing the impossible and Making New York Great Again, he was a ferocious, wildly successful Federal prosecutor.

Sarah is, I pray, one day going to follow Trump as President. But I can’t decide if she’s the best VP choice. She will have, at the least, a major cabnit position.

As for who he will ultimately choice we shouldn’t be too concerned. Essentially the position is useless after the election. With the goal being TO WIN election, Trump has the smarts & savvy to choice a person that will best help him beat the Clinton Machine. Since it’s Trump we want and Trump who is important, let’s let him pick whoever he needs/wants, even if it’s someone we dislike. We need to trust his judgement on this.

That said, Trump hasn’t won anything yet. So let’s keep our eyes on the prize. There are powerful, well funded forces working 24/7 to deny Trump the nomination. The campaign, and Trump himself, are imploring US ALL to not just vote ourselves, but to make sure others vote as well.

Let’s ALL OF US concentrate on increasing his vote total. That includes all of us in the states that vote at the end of the primary season.

Any attack ad against Trump is the corrupt pot trying to call the kettle black. Women? Bill Clinton. Cronyism? Check out Paul Ryan’s latest.
Trump is a blue-collar vulgarian at heart and proud of it.
    They mistake confidence for arrogance.
They can’t even see that it takes humility to speak directly to the disenfranchised.

They don’t see the cancer of crony corruption overrides everything. Even if you believe in free trade, the TPP is full of crony carve-outs, subsidies, special privileges. Even if you think ethanol subsidies bad, blame the house and senate on both side of the asile, not the farmers – no one expects any of the other candidates to do anything – even Cruz where I can respect his talking about it.

I liked Ron Paul, but it is clear an honest politician can’t get elected as long as the corrupt machine is in place. Whatever else, Trump will destroy the machine. And then we can have an honest discussion, not have to corrupt ourselves. And I think Trump would in office really honestly evaluate – is ethanol a good or bad deal, or what would be a good deal. Not what lobbyists want. I know it won’t be -I’ll raise taxes and cut subsidies and leave you out to twist, he might find a way – “here is a better deal if you give up ethanol…”

In any case, 4 more years of corruption isn’t tolerable. And the other candidates either don’t see anything wrong, or just want to trim around the edges.

    • I am starting to question Ron Paul as well. I have seen some things that just doesn’t make sense with him. He screams all the time about the crash coming and we are in a bubble, but people need to know what is going on behind the scenes and I am sure he does. The IMF is working with Yellen to halt a collapse from ever happening. While people are asleep the US is no longer the main reserve currency in the world and the SDR is about to take that position. China has a huge role to play in the coming years as the “new leader” of the world or what you could call the leader of the NWO. I have mentored on this for over a year now and Trump is going to have his work cut out for him. These people are not going to be happy with a nationalist..that is for sure. There is so much going on that people just have no clue about. The refugees issue is just part of the whole, “big” world order plan.

Cruz advocates for subsidies for the oil and gas industry. Why?
Texas oil and gas are funding his campaign.

Can you sat corrupt crony corporatism, anyone.

Why not no subsidies for oil and gas and ethanol?

Reagan eliminated subsidies for oil. It wasn’t popular but he did it anyway.

Once again, a freshman senator with no executive experience not well versed in finance and clueless of how to turn the country around is NO Ronald Reagan.

  20. I am looking at each..state coming up..Iowa..South Carolina and New Hampshire..I just see Cruz as the one to try to steal Iowa..Rubio using Gowdy to try to win South Carolina and Christie in New Hampshire..to slow the Trump momentum. It just looks so transparent in the scheme of things. I don’t trust Cruz at all..he is just as slimy as they come. Pictures of him with Trump are not because he loves Trump..he is the user above all users and I would suppose that Trump would know that. It isn’t just about him not being eligible along with Rubio..it is about him being a slime ball. A trickster to take the American people down the road to the North American Union and the TPP death trap. I have yet to understand why Trump has left him alone. It could be because he finds it better to leave him alone so that his base of evangelicals don’t decide to come against Trump..Idk. I just vomit every time I look at Cruz. To me, he is worse than Rubio. Rubio is out there..;plain and simple establishment. Cruz is establishment when it comes to principle. It is just that he has such a disgusting personality that none of them like him, but they tolerate him, because he is keeping Trump from gaining those evangelical folks who never look at issues, but look to see if their man is praying today. I just can’t wait until the day comes when Cruz is back screaming his lungs out on the senate floor to achieve nothing and Trump puts him in the corner for misbehaving.

I just wanted to say that the “natural born Citizen” requirement for President is VP is not a hard concept. According to Vattel in The Law of Nations, used by the Founders and mentioned in Article I of the Constitution, a “natural born Citizen” is born on US Soil to 2 US Citizen ParentS, nothing LESS. A NBC is 100% American. The Founders wanted No Foreign Influence on the Office of the President (the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces) and the VP, so, upon suggestion by John Jay (the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the US) in a letter to George Washington, the Founders added “natural born Citizen” to the other requirements for President & VP ONLY. The Founders thought about each and every term in that Divine Document. That is why there is merely a US Citizen requirement (among other requirements) for every other office named in the Constitution, which can be a Naturalized Citizen, and NBC ONLY for President & VP. Also, another clue as to the meaning of NBC, was the “grandfather clause”, “…or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution…,” which would allow the First Generation of US Citizens in the new country (not NBC’s YET) to be President or VP. The second generation of US Citizens most likely would be NBC’s (born on US Soil to 2 US Citizen ParentS) and on into the future. Most Americans are NBC’s. The Founders, in their infinite wisdom, protected us from Foreign Influence in the Offices of the President & VP, and for good reason! God Bless Them!

Google: John Jay George Washington Permit Me to Hint, and you will find reference to “natural born Citizen” in the writing of the Constitution.

Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of U.S. Constitution as adopted 17 September 1787:

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

Agreed, the NBC issue is best solved as set forth above. It’s idiotic and insidious at the same time that this is being so thoroughly obfuscated by media and elected officials. State lawsuits are the way to get these issues resolved once and for all. Shouldn’t be too hard to get at least a couple of state supreme courts to rule in time to put the issue before SCOTUS before the next election. Of course, if neither Cruz nor Rubio are chosen by the party as candidates, the issue becomes moot, for now.
