This man Trump is simply amazing. He owned that room, and he’s exactly right–the crowds in each venue do love the crowds elsewhere.

I’ve never seen anything like this, ever.

One wonders what a Jeb, Rubio, and Kasich are thinking as they watch this event. (And believe me-they’re watching it closely!) No candidate on either side of this contest has the ability to do what Trump does, routinely, night after night.

Thank you for highlighting that. Perhaps his most important single comment yet. He has slowly been saying this out loud, probably because he is slowly recognizing what’s really happening. 6-8 weeks ago he was proposing it was a movement. Lately he has been recognizing that its not him, its the message. Now this. It is very important. When we can empathize with each other, that is where cooperation, understanding, and other good values come in. The Left has become a distortion of this basic fact of recognizing our mutual humanity. Their problem is they accept weakness, like safe spaces and every little immature whinny complaint. When Trump says were all the same, he is talking about what is good, strong, and healthy in all of us. He is promoting strong, mature, confidence, intelligent, tough, cunning. The same values this country was founded on.

We have an opportunity here to elect someone that clearly is willing to sacrifice to serve. He is willing to loose it all because of his love of the country. If we can win for him, how many others like him would ever step up in the future?

This is actually the fault of the Trump campaign team.

They insist on starting a song that is copyrighted so the broadcast is muted/cut the moment the song starts, which is always exactly the moment Trump’s speech ends (even though this time he was still talking but his overzealous crew started the song anyway).

I don’t understand why they can’t allow 30 seconds of crowd cheering (at least) before they start the song, but they seem to like it that way as the same thing has happened for every single rally so far!

Oh my! I had to scroll so far down to find a reference to his family! That was my favorite part! Melania was awesome. Just a few words. No blather. Right to the point. That in itself was unbelievably refreshing. And did you see Ivanka watching her Dad as he signed autographs after the speech? There was a few seconds showing her studying him. I bet she is an information sponge just like he is…got his genes. And then Melania went out signing autographs too! How unbelievably cool was that! This is history folks. The very beginning of the return to greatness for our great Country that God created for a very special destiny.

Terrific speech! Very passionate. Very confrontational vs. media, vs. status quo. Really well done! Although many familiar points were revisited, I do believe this is getting better and better. Glad to see it. Sundance nailed it when he pointed out that DJT is working his arse off while all the others are socializing at pool parties and schmoozing their donors.

It is particularly telling that Rubio and Kaitlyn Bush are dumping dollars on Kasich to do the heavy lifting in demagoguing DJT. At least it tells me something: there’s not a swingin’ pair between ’em!

    • R-C says:

Those ‘familiar points’ you’re mentioning are the meat-and-potatoes of Trump’s message. The only reason we can call them ‘familiar’ is because we watch virtually every one of Trump’s appearances.

But those points must be hammered down, over and over. Trump is meeting potentially thousands of new voters per visit–it’s all but inconceivable to us, but some are hearing his words for the first time.

How awesome it would be to attend one of those rallies.

And just as I called it for weeks now, Cruz is just breaking the 20s. Out of nowhere. Cruz who had trouble breaking single digits despite being in the race longer than Trump. And suddenly here he is running in the 20s now.

About a week of this to get his national polls up to above 20, and then the hammer will drop. And we will have 3 manipulated candidates in the 15-20% slot.

They are literally playing chess with these candidates. Lining them right up.

To understand the scope of this, just look around. The normally liberal media is posting mostly favorable stories of Cruz right now. The liberal media, folks! Gushing and glowing for Cruz. Give it a week and the attack dogs will be let loose on him. They won’t kill him, just wound him to keep him in his place.

    The collusion is just astounding.

However, these single digit time-wasters are desperate. Very easy to be bought with promises of double digits and getting just close enough to the nomination to be taken seriously in future elections.

IMO that is how they are manipulating them. They are either being foolishly manipulated or they are willing to sell their souls for this.

Some are probably even honored to play their role.

The same thing with Carson a few weeks ago. Remember he “surged”past Trump in Iowa and he was ‘tied” with Trump in national polls?

      Pump and dump.

But these idiot establishment pols and their power hungry donors who don’t give a rip about this country are groping in the dark. They don’t have a clue how to beat Trump.
The stars have aligned against them–8 years out from the Muslim destroyer in the White House and betrayal from the GOP and Tea Party candidates like Cruz, Americans have had it! Enough is enough. The battered middle and working class are fighting back and Trump is a patriot leading the way.

Yeah, he needs to relentlessly hammer this message. It’s his “free pass” to the Presidency. It is the main reason I am voting for him. He needs to keep driving it home so everyone realizes that whoever they think is better than Trump is in reality just a shill and a puppet for their donors. This argument will certainly sway independents in the general election, and probably can even move the more flexible-minded of the left wingers out there who still have two neurons connected that can work and think.

Another great rally—wonderful audience response—-but this is the South, folks. And I know the GOPe powers that be are watching, not just us. They know what kinds of numbers he is attracting.

Tonight, I was waiting for my hockey game to come on, so I turned briefly to Greta, on Fox. She was interviewing Rove. Not sure how to take his comments.

He said something like—what’s happening in this election cycle is similar to the late 1800’s. The two parties had been trading Presidencies with about 1/2 and 1/2 of the electorate each time when all of a sudden, out of the blue, came William Mckinley and took the country by storm. No one saw him coming. And he changed the political landscape for the next forty years.(I was floored)

Is he saying he thinks Trump will win.? Rove ?

So we went to the rally with a young man from Mexico, here on a special English language program. I felt bad when we walked right by a big, “build the wall” sign. The student said that he agreed with Donald Trump’s wall, that the illegal immigrants were very, very poor and desperate. He said he would love to work for Trump, who knows, maybe he will.
BTW one woman standing along the “runway” fainted, it was kinda hot in there. I wonder if they told Donald Trump.

I had a good seat in the bleachers behind Mr. Trump, 3/4 of the way up and a bit below and to the left of that American Flag. It was a huge crowd, SRO, but well organized. We arrived more than 2 hours early, most of the seats were filling up quickly by then. The local news said that some people had been waiting in line since 10am. What I enjoyed was the way that he gave the media a good whooping, people actually turned around and were kinda screaming, waving signs at all the news cameras. The crowd especially loved his statement about guns, and how they may have prevented some of the terrible deaths in Paris. Another big moment was when he clarified his position on waterboarding. I saved my poster that said the silent majority stands with Trump. It was much nicer than the one I printed at home. The only thing he might have done better would have been to address just a couple of remarks to the people in the bleachers behind him. Seems it was at least half the crowd.

I sent this to Reince Preibus today. This is the best speech I think I’ve ever heard, so passionate that I was crying by the time it was over. Powerful. So my letter to Preibus is well-timed.

    Dear Chairman Preibus,

The GOP stands naked and exposed for all to see the evil that you represent!
Naked because it has become obvious you do not want us choosing our own candidate.

I have never seen such self-destructive and foolish actions on the part of the Republican Party. You are fast losing your base and I predict that, if you continue on this self-destructive path, the GOP will no longer exist come 2020! As soon as 2016 is over, I will officially become an Independent.

THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE DONE WITH THE REPUBLICAN PARTY! YOU HAVE BETRAYED US ONE TOO MANY TIMES!

What am I referring to? All the publicly aired plans to destroy the candidacy of Donald Trump. He is one of the party’s candidates, but you fools are so determined to make sure that the American People do not choose their own leaders – in what is SUPPOSED TO BE a Constitutional Republic, you have gone into self-destruct mode. You would rather lose than to allow the People to choose their own candidates.

NO ONE wants Jeb Bush! Neither Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton will be elected by The People. It will only happen if you cheat. The Bushes have done enough damage to this country. Ben Carson is a weird creep. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, neither of whom are Constitutionally eligible, are know-nothing Junior Senators with zero experience to be CIC, John Kasich is an absolute MORON. No one else is worth mentioning.

Right now, because of your actions, it is quite likely that Republicans will lose BIG down the ticket in all the other Congressional as well as State races. Because former loyalists are so angry, I see comments and plans where people are vowing to punish the GOP if you try to deny Donald Trump the nomination. As it looks right now, I will vote against my current Republican Congressman, I will probably vote for a Democrat for Governor and I am also working to defeat my traitorous Senator. I’d rather see President Trump work with Democrats than you traitors in the GOP.

We have you figured out and quite honestly we absolutely hate you.

Watch carefully what you do, because YOU WILL LOSE. YOUR EFFORTS WILL BE FOR NAUGHT!

    We SHALL defeat you!
