UPDATE – Ironic Timing – Report: First Load Out of Anticipated “10,000 Syrian Refugees” Has Arrived in New Orleans….

UPDATED 11/15/15 below: To include letter from Governor Bobby Jindal to the White House

This is very concerning.  It would appear most of the “refugees” are economic jihadist males between the age of 18-45 years old.   They have recently arrived courtesy of President Obama, Secretary Kerry and the State Department.

Hillary Clinton’s “Rebels” arrive in the U.S.

Pictured - First batch of Syrian refugees arriving in New Orleans.

Syrian refugees

New Orleans – […] The first transport of refugees arrived in New Orleans recently and will be resettled in Louisiana and 180 other American communities.

[…] The 10,000 Syrian refugees are first flown to the United States, according to the French news wire Agence France-Presse, with the State Department paying the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for the airfare.

Then, once the refugees arrive in the country, they could be dispersed across the 180 cities listed above, where they are to aided within the first 30 to 90 days in settling and finding employment in the area.

After approximately 90 days, refugees are no longer eligible for the State Department-funded support that they were receiving through migrant and refugee services. However, they are able to join support programs through the Department of Health and Human Services.

Additionally, it is unclear how much the screening process for the 10,000 Syrian refugees will cost American taxpayers.

The State Department spent $1.1 billion resettling people from around the world in the country last year. That’s about $16,000 per person.  (read full article)

Another local New Orleans media outlet adds:

Fox8Live […]  We turned to former New Orleans FBI chief and anti-terrorism expert Jim Bernazzani for insight on whether that’s a legitimate concern. Before coming to New Orleans, Bernazzani worked to ramp up the nation’s anti-terror strategies after 911.

“If I was in charge of ISIL, logistically I’d take advantage of this situation and put my people in, into the United States,” Bernazzani said. “Now with that said, the FBI is on top of this big time with our Joint Terrorism Task Force and we have what’s called a Terrorist Screening Center that these individuals will be run through.”

But make no mistake, not every refugee seeking admission to the U.S. would face such scrutiny.

“It’s going to be the 18- to 45-year-old male for the most part,” he said. “It’s a percentage game. It’s not fail-safe, but it’s a percentage game.”

Still, as more of the refugees take up residency in the New Orleans area, Bernazzani discourages fear.

“These are just people from another country trying to escape misery by virtue of a civil war,” he said. “We had our own civil war, and so I wouldn’t be worried, but I would be vigilant,” he said.  (read more)

update-1UPDATE 11-15-15 Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal sends a letter to the White House demanding answers:

November 14, 2015

The Honorable Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, D.C. 20500

Dear President Obama,

In the wake of another round of appalling terrorist attacks, I write to express great sadness at the events in Paris, as well as my grave concern about the unreported diffusion of Syrian refugees in the United States.

Last week, the city of New Orleans began receiving its first wave of Syrian refugees. As with former immigration crises and federal relocation policy, Louisiana has been kept in the dark about those seeking refuge in the state. It is irresponsible and severely disconcerting to place individuals, who may have ties to ISIS, in a state without the state’s knowledge or involvement.

As Governor of Louisiana, I demand information about the Syrian refugees being placed in Louisiana in hopes that the night of horror in Paris is not duplicated here. In the wake of these atrocities, I also ask for details on the below:

What level of background screening was conducted prior to entry in the United States?
In light of the fact that some of those responsible for last night’s attacks held Syrian passports, what additional protections and screenings will be put in place?

Will all Syrian refugees seeking relocation in the United States now be cleared by the Terrorist Screening Center?
What degree of monitoring will be sustained after initial placement in Louisiana?

As Americans, we embolden freedom and opportunity to the rest of the world, but by opening up our borders and refusing to collaborate or share information with states, you are threatening that reality.

Mr. President, in light of these attacks on Paris and reports that one of the attackers was a refugee from Syria, it would be prudent to pause the process of refugees coming to the United States. Authorities need to investigate what happened in Europe before this problem comes to the United States.

Sincerely,
Governor Bobby Jindal  (Source Link)

The New York Times has an article showing the proposed “refugee” distribution pattern from October of this year, including:

Under pressure from Europe and other countries confronting the global migration crisis, Mr. Obama has raised the number of Syrian refugees who will be offered legal status to at least 10,000 this fiscal year. Some cities and towns have resisted. In Duncan, S.C., residents and elected officials argue that the federal government cannot possibly screen out terrorists, and some say that more Muslim immigrants would threaten American culture. The average family in Syria is 6.2 people but must of the refugees are single 18 yrs and over. Where are the children? All refugees 18 years and older should be trained to fight. Give them a gun and sent back to Syria to fight ISIS under NATO supervision.

Sorry to say folks, like it or not it’s already too late in the US. They have been there for years the same as the UK and the rest of Europe. They are just sitting there biding their time ready to commit the next atrocious act.
The only way to EVENTUALLY eradicate the problem is first and foremost close all borders down allowing no one in without total scrutiny. Then and only then go through every person already admitted in the last 20 years into the country and find out exactly what they have been up over the years.
At some point you’re going to come across those that have been up to no good. Then you can lock them up for the rest of their days.

      I disagree.

It’s not “too late” in the US. History is filled with turning points, including the mass expulsion of minority groups by the majority in order to preserve their culture and restore civil trust and social cohesion.

The problem lies in the lack of will. The answer to the problem lies within each and every person, but most lack the true desire or willingness to risk, to effect change. Between all the bleating and handwringing and #ColdAnger hashtagging are very very few who are willing to stand on principal and do the hard work that needs to be done to truly reclaim a country and a culture.

Some of us have tried to live our beliefs as much as we can and have paid the price for that. We’ve also gathered a group of like-minded people to work on “Plan B”. Unlike the majority, we aren’t casting our lot in with the misguided belief that there’s a neat and easy top-down solution.

I believe that what we view as the “United States of America” by today’s standards will no longer exist in its present form when the dust settles, however.

The Dark Ages in Europe were because of the Islamic stanglehold on Europe and its trade with the outside world. They submitted. They plunged themselves into centuries of poverty and struggle and a loss of generational knowledge. Whether or not the US choses that path remains to be seen. You are either part of the solution, and are willing to do the heavy lifting or you are the problem.

    • John, why stop at 20 years, why not 30 or 40. There have been plenty of acts of domestic terrorism caused by people that have lived here their whole lives, so why don’t we just throw away the concept of “innocent until proven guilty” for everyone? Lock everyone up and take way all of our freedoms. That would be the only way to eradicate the problem in your eyes, of course it flies in the face of what this country was founded on.

I am surprised by how many Christians I have seen that are willing to turn their backs on strangers in need. What happened to love thy neighbor? Most of these refuges are single mothers and their children, per first article linked to in the store. Most of those coming here are doing so to escape the monsters and terrorists that fighting for control back home. All they want is a chance at a brighter future for their children.

Read the stories linked to in this article. They paint a very different picture of whats going on then this story. Obama wants to up the total number of refuges coming in over the next two years to 200,000. Only 10,000 of those will be Syrians. That’s a fraction of those being brought in from countries like Myanmar and Iraq. This story is designed to rial people up, not represent the truth. I mean come on, the photo is from a protest in Hungary, but is placed to give the impression that they just got off the boat and are being dropped off in New Orleans. In point of fact, only 14 Syrians have been placed in Louisiana.

I’m sorry I understand about all of us being immigrants at some point. And I am all for helping fellow man and humans. But it doesn’t matter how many security checks these people go through ISIS is using squeaky clean individuals that can pass any security or background check around and sending them all over the globe to sit and wait. We are letting them in so they can sit and await orders to bomb the crap out of us, this is the third world war people just redesigned, lets not stick our heads in the sand and act like America’s values and morals have not been slowly sliding downhill for years. the greed, materialism, and bankrupt moral values of this country are out of control. the American people are paying refugees and illegals way with food stamps and Medicaid and finding them jobs when there are millions of americans that live in poverty that can’t find jobs or get food stamps and Medicaid for medical help. there are americans who have been in this country for generations that can’t afford life saving medical treatments because they are too expensive but give the refugees free healthcare and make us pay for it. come on people let’s not be so niave, there are basic human rights atrocities happening right here at home we are not dealing with.

With all due respect, our ancestors who came into the country in the 1600s and 1700s came here not expecting or receiving ANY kind of help. They had seeds to plant a crop and maybe a plow. When they started west in ox carts and covered wagons, they had only what they could get in the cart. They shot game on the way and ate berries, etc. When they got to where they were going, they had to clear enough ground — remove trees, brush, etc. — so they could plant a crop as soon as they possibly could. Sometimes they lived in holes they dug in the ground like they did where I live now because there was not enough timber to cut to build a small log cabin. When people, usually the illegal immigrants, start comparing their situation with the situation of these early “immigrants” I’m overcome with anger to the point that I’m speechless. These immigrants, depending on what state they’re in, live better than many of the people in the state who work because of all the support they get. No wonder they want to come to this country. I don’t blame them. But don’t compare them with my ancestors!

Wake Up! It doesn’t matter where they came from, what matters is there ideology. If they yelled Allah u Akbar, its fairly easy to identify their mind set. The real question is, should we allow that mind set into our country in mass numbers.

Time to hold those of our ‘leaders’ who vote for such insanity to task. The rules are already in place, just enforce existing laws with regards to our politico class.

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

A total vetrayal of all we stand for and no different than turning jews away before ww2 except WE KNOW the women and children and elderly we help are fleeing genocide…..did no one tell you we choose who we take unlike europe where they just arrive and we help the neediest first after 18 months of verification and have taken in 45000 from the region under Bush without a peep. Are you referring to the women and children refugees from Central America who paid for their transport to illegally enter the country? I was wondering when someone would make that equation. My question is why the Administration had them put into “residential facilities” at a cost of $19 million a month until they are fully vetted and then required to wear ankle trackers upon release into society? Why be fearful of these women and children, who are fleeing from untold abuse, extortion, and torture, and not another group of refugees?

Look, this is not about us helping the poor and unfortunate. This country has shed more blood for the freedom of other people than all the rest of the countries put together. I question, not only putting our citizens at risk, but bringing people who will be in a strange culture not knowing the language, and trying to survive. ISIS is certainly tricky enough to conceal any number of their own in a group like that. We admit 1,000,000 legal immigrants a year, yes, I said 1,000,000 legal immigrants a year, plus the 12,000,000 – 22,000,000 illegals one that we are already dealing with. ANYONE who thinks that we should admit more when NONE of the states with like cultures will admit ANY simply does not have the best interest of our homeland at heart and possibly hates America enough to see it destroyed as the case with our president.

Americans have gone blind. This is exactly how the migration began in Europe. Seen Europe lately? The continent is in shambles, and it doesn’t look as if it’s going to get any better, any time soon. So, where are all the women migrants? Did all these men just up and leabe all their women behind to deal with what THEY are seeking refuge from? Their mothers, their grandmothers, aunts, sisters, daughters, girlfriends, wives???? Is anyone even noticing this??? Americans, like Europeans, have been duped. They are a band of Muslim barbarians, who are committed to their, so called, “holy quoran”, which instructs loyalists to rape, molest (children), behead, destroy, ravish, slaughter and murder, by means more inhuman than we could imagine, all in the name of allah. They are not a race or an ethnicity, so to call anyone who opposes them, “racist”, is irrelevant. More to the point, they are a religion which promotes and carries out terrorism, in the forms I have described, but even more, like we have seen them do, in their quest to take the entire world, for islam. Their refugee status, is a farce, these men should be in their country, fighting their imagined enemy-protecting their women! Again, where are their women??? ANSWER: Safe, at home, while they invade the Western world.
