Candidate Chris Christie is featured in a widely circulated video during a campaign stop in New Hampshire. The topic is drug abuse, currently the top polling concern amid New Hampshire voters. The message is very well presented:

It’s a great video, almost too good.

Christie

Here’s some additional food for thought:

♦  We shared a month ago that if Fiorina and Rubio failed to advance the Op Hummingbird approach, it was more than likely that Chris Christie would be the next GOPe candidate promoted in the pipeline.

♦  More importantly, look at the production of the video itself. Notice how it’s not organically produced. The camera work, the angles, the lighting – everything about the video shouts a professional production. This was not a person in the audience recording an organic moment, this was a professional media enterprise promoting a specific candidate.

♦  The next media outlet to use the Huffington Post production was MSNBC and Rachel Maddow. The video then morphed into MSNBC via the morning talk show Morning Joe. Their discussion is notable HERE.

♦ Consider the video is now claimed as “viral”. Yes, the video is viral with over 6 million views – however, again, like the production quality the views are not organic. The “views” -as considered viral- come from “FaceBook Views”; and not just any Facebook views, but promoted facebook views.

♦ Normally organic “viral” video’s stem from citizen uploads to YouTube connections. Only 21,000 views are from the YouTube platform – 6 million views stem from the Huffington Post Facebook page which was promoted on Facebook.

♦  Lastly to test the cynic concerns associated with the issues above, we sent a Twitter message out asking for someone to point us to this “viral” video. Within moments, two responses – both replies from Media Marketing and Media Consultants directing us to the Huffington Post source link.

♦ When considered against the backdrop of •a professional production, •promoted by a professional media, •through a known professional platform for propaganda distribution, the probability for ASTROTURF messaging increases exponentially.

Of course all of this is just a spidey-sense of what is playing out, and there’s almost no way to technically prove it.   But we do know that this is going on with increased frequency, just like:

BASK 4BASK 5

However, as to the substance contained within the video, Big Fur Hat at iOTW has a great summation.  SEE HERE
