Amid increasing threats from foreign and domestic terror entities (ISIS, Mexican Drug Cartels and BLM, etc.) NewsMax is reporting presidential candidates Donald Trump and Dr. Ben Carson will begin receiving Secret Service protection.

Trump and Carson

The Secret Service will give agent protection to Ben Carson and Donald Trump while heavily upgrading Hillary Clinton’s existing detail, a Washington source close to the agency’s plans confirmed to Newsmax.

The deployment of agents around Republican candidates Trump and Carson is set to begin as early as next week. Approximately two dozen agents will be assigned to each candidate.

[…] The agency’s decision was primarily triggered by a significant number of threats to Carson, including death threats and terrorist chatter, the source said. (read more)

The news is particularly beneficial to Donald Trump’s campaign because he has been the visible target from domestic terrorism entities who hide under the auspices of social justice networks like La Raza and Black Lives Matter and spring upon the campaign crowd with various intents.

While discussion and/or presentation of violent leftist activity has been avoided by the Trump campaign, the concern has been clearly evidenced ‘between-the-lines’.

With the larger security apparatus of the Secret Service now engaged, it will be much more difficult for radical and violent activists to sneak into venues inhabited by both the Carson and Trump campaigns.

VA 1The additional security of the Secret Service will similarly avoid a repeat of the post-event danger experienced by Candidate Trump after a recent Richmond Virginia rally.  Earlier last week the BLM agitators tried to rush the Trump campaign convoy in Virginia prompting a massive swarm of State Police to respond to urgent calls from local authorities outside the venue.

The Richmond incident was not reported by MSM; however, it perhaps the reason why Donald Trump and his campaign began to raise the concern to the larger media on the day following the altercation.

Regardless of what has precipitated the decision, it is generally a good idea in today’s climate of highly-charged politics to have all candidates protected from extremists who have thrived in the era of President Obama’s openly vitriolic cheer leading of violence.

Hopefully, under a Trump administration, the President will remove the Secret Service from the Department of Homeland Security/Dept of Justice and allow them to return back to their original independent apparatus under the U.S. Treasury Department.
