Denver City Council Moonbats Freaking Out Over Chick-Fil-A Restaurant Proposal In Denver Airport….

Let’s cut to the chase on this story.  The city council is not taking its time to determine the validity of a restaurant permit; the City Council is seeking legal advice on what might happen if they deny such a permit.

It’s a ridiculous, and quite scarey era, we live in when approval of a business license is dependent on the political affiliation of the owner.

chick+fil+a+5COLORADO – The Denver City Council is taking its time deciding whether Chick-fil-A, whose CEO is opposed to gay marriage, should be allowed to open a restaurant in the Denver airport.

The City Council has voted to take two weeks “to look at the policies involved” before voting on whether Chick-fil-A would be approved to fry chicken bits in the Denver International Airport.

The City Council, which made its ruling last week, told CNNMoney on Monday that Denver “has been at the forefront of honoring gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees and their families with non-discrimination clauses and partner benefits.”

The fast food chain’s opposition to gay marriage is what gave the city council “pause.”

“When Denver International Airport proposed a concession with a company that had a history of funding opposition to this recognition, it was important that we as a City Council take a pause to ensure that all the policies are in place with all of the entities involved to ensure there will be no discrimination, and that benefits will be provided equally to all employees and their spouses, regardless of their sexual orientation,” said the City Council. I guess they will look at kicking Subway out of the airport next, considering Jared Fogle’s activities. Burger King is “safe” though.. as long as they continue to sell the “Proud Whopper” (wrapped in a rainbow colored paper).

I’m surprised they’ve even found time to address this, when they’re so busy howling about anchor babies who don’t know that they’re anchor babies & rejoicing that Josh Duggar got caught trying to cheat on his wife in the Ashley Madison hack-a-thon.

Why can’t people just shut up & leave other people alone? Has PETA weighed in yet??

Subway’s who they’re probably fast-tracking to get in there. You’ve seen the thread for the NASA child porn cover-up, just posted haven’t you? Subvert, contaminate, and demoralize – the plan for America’s demise.

Really? The company has funded? Or the CEO of the company has supported/funded? Speaking out and supporting, financially and otherwise, causes in which one believes is a fundamental human right.

Isn’t discrimination based upon belief a form of bigotry? Or is that only true when the beliefs in question are something other than conservative and/or Judeo-Christian in nature?

Yeah, I wonder if they had any qualms about allowing any purveyors of over-processed fast food from setting up shop if they’d contributed to left wing (airport reference)? My wife will be in Denver later this year for a professional conference – she’ll bring sandwiches.
OK, no biggie – our sandwiches are way better anyway.

Thank you for writing this! I work in entertainment, & have many gay friends. One of my best friends is a gay conservative who really admires this site. He had NO IDEA of the horrible Marxist ideas fueling these horrendous people trying to rip America apart! He just can no more force himself to want to be intimate with a woman than I can (I’m a straight female). The dude loves dudes. AND chicken!

Please know that there are SO MANY in the gay community who are like him. I also know a few of the really obnoxious “shut-it-down” types, especially as I live in the Bay Area, but I’ve also known many who have grown out of that stupid & destructive phase.

The people I’M mad at are those engineering this crap–yes, many of them are gay too, but I find that the most militant, completely unreasonable ones are Dumb Straight Judgmental White Liberals, who think they are both cool AND “morally superior”. The same kind of idiots who go to Oakland & smash stuff up, because #BlackLivesMatter.

They have the biggest mouths, and the smallest brains, & truly believe that they’re “helping”.

So many gays just want to live peaceful, quiet lives, & find this kind of nonsense MORTIFYING. Plus, Chic-Fil-A is GOOD! It’s a shame we’ll never be allowed one up here due to such idiocy!

  9. I’m surprised that the fact that ALL Chik-fil-A’s are closed on Sunday isn’t an issue with the Liberal moonbats. In fact, if their problem IS the gay marriage stance, I’m surprised they didn’t use the “closed on Sundays” policy to deny the permit.

Does Chick-fil-a sell and serve food to LGBTxyz?

    Does Chick-fil-a hire LGBTxyz?

Does Chick-fil-a display any anti-LGBTxyz? ads or pictures in their stores?

Hmm……..don’t see the problem. What one does in their personal life is their personal life.

Also, let the consumer decide via free market dynamics. If there are so many LBGTxyz? in Denver and it is so well known that the CEO of the company does not share the same value, then it would seem that the store would not make much money and would close.

Since when do we need govt deciding who is morally correct and then shoving those morals down our throats?

If lezzies would at lest try to look feminine, and the homos would not swish and lisp, nobody would care. f they didn’t make their sexuality the WHOLE DEAL, nobody would care. It’s the fact that they HAVE to push this in your face, and have this hanging out there as their primary identity that;s the problem. It isn’t NORMAL to have your sexual proclivities be part of the workplace, it’s just NOT. So sick of it.

    Let’s see if I understand their position….

We’re not allowed to freely associate as per civil rights legislation (which was a good thing). The flip side of the coin was that by not allowing free association, forced association is the law. Therefore, a cake decorating service gets fined for not wanting to decorate certain types of cakes. However, when a company has political leanings that aren’t favored, that free association sure looks nice, doesn’t it.

Well, too bad. Suck it. Maybe next time they ought to come up with a cogent argument that doesn’t give away the farm in trying to achieve the justice that is desired.

Well now, whenever I’m in Denver my first thought when I consider fine East Slope dining is the Denver airport. I can see why the city wouldn’t want that gastronomic gulag’s offerings diluted, religion aside. I’m sure to redirect my reconsider flying from New Orleans to Denver when the need to feed that airport cuisine monster – at least in New Orleans we have liquor carts plying the concourses to take the edge off of getting from the plane to your dinner reservations.
Inconsiderate Philistines – what about those travelers trying to deal with the munchies from their Denver stay? I cry fowl!

  14. TwoLaine says:

Has the Denver Airport paid for itself yet? Unless they have expected the same from all employers/vendors, they are begging for a discrimination lawsuit. Bring it on DIA!

Last I remember, this airport was 2 BILLION over budget, over a year overdue, and had a baggage system that was a piece of crap.

Those darn Illuminati! They never pay their bills!!

(The History Channel has one of those “America’s Book of Secrets” shows all about there supposedly being special mystical symbols hidden all over the Denver Airport. How great would it be if it turned out they were all actually subliminal advertising for Chic-Fil-A??).

Wonder how many REAL problems the numbskulls are ignoring while getting their panties in a bunch over this stupidity??

Rahm Emanuel and the Chicago City Council of Eunechs pulled a similar stunt against Chic-fil- a a summer or two ago and Chicagoians of all stripes, straight, gay and aquatic told him and the council to go stuff it.

Rahm and many in the council said “Chic-fil-a did not represent Chicago values.”

Well that up set a lot of people who were not down with some politician telling them what values to follow.

There was a huge groundswell of support for Chic-fil-a from a lot of people.

I live a block from the Chick-fil-a in 60611, right downtown. At that time in support there was a Chick-fil-a Friday in support of the company. I got lunch there that day and it was packed! Gays, Straights, Whites, Blacks, Latinos…. The media was on the sidewalk. We were giving Rahm the complete middle finger. I am not exaggerating it was that diverse.

Then a funny thing…vis-a-vis…Rahm and “Chicago” values. Some dating site got the city to allow them to put up a billboard with Charlie Sheen’s ex-whatever with the words “The best job is a [blurrded out] low job.”

This billboard was on a major street where elementary school buses passed everyday and tourists walked passed with there five year-olds.

I have a video of it. If I knew how to embed, I’d post it.

Well I called the city to complain and they just passed me off. As it turned out that trash billboard was right across from the flagship Rock & Roll Mc Donald’s.

I called the corporate office, explained the sign and three days later the sign was gone.

That’s fantastic! I’d love to see it!

All those people you named–Gays, Straights, Whites, Blacks, Latinos (what, no Asians? J/K), were very likely just responding to NOT WANTING TO BE TOLD WHAT TO DO. (Especially by the likes of Rahm Emmanuel!).

I think–and fervently hope–that we, the people have ’bout HAD IT w/ these sanctimonious Professional Know-It-Alls who, as it turns out, don’t know ANYTHING!!

      #WWTD What Would Trump Do??

Thanks for the reminder. I headed right over to my local Chik-Fil-a for breakfast after seeing this post. While there, I reminisced about the last Big Gay jihad, and the wild scenes at this location and the two others that are closest. During that campaign, I held to the “Chik-Fil-A three times a day” motto, as did thousands of others. Lines to get to the drive-thru were a half-mile long, and the interiors were packed solidly for most of the day and evenings. It was refreshing to witness, and a reminder that there are many still left, that will resist the Marxist front.

  24. EJ says:

In their defense – many public contracts require that the vendor (chick) observe anti discrimination laws. So much like the govt, chick fil a most likely wouldn’t be able to discriminate. So there may be a valid legal question there.

    • auscitizenmom says:

Sooo, if the head of the company does not believe in same sex marriage, that means the individual restaurants cannot get permits? I wonder how many same sex marriages plan to be catered by Chik-fil-a? I guess it depends on how much they think they can get out of a lawsuit.

    • Chip Bennett says:

You have evidence of Chik-Fil-A violating anti-discrimination laws? Anywhere? Ever?
