Many people who have not followed the construct of the RNC/GOP plan as it originated (November/December 2013 – through the construction in May/June 2014 and end result in April ’15) are fundamentally misunderstanding the origin of the GOPe Roadmap to elect Jeb Bush.

More specifically, because the entire plan leads to a fundamental paradigm shift in the way the average person understands political constructs, many people just can’t accept how manipulated the entire system is.  Even some of those who now understand are still making mistakes about who the road map was designed to face as an opponent.
The original plan, as established in ’14, and delivered in ’15, evolved around Jeb Bush as the selected RNC/GOP candidate, and the ANTICIPATED opponents being Scott Walker, Ted Cruz and Rand Paul.

TRIPWIRE #3 – In 2014, the RNC approved selection rules that govern how each state’s delegates are portioned out from the primaries. Under one of the changes, states holding their primaries between March 1 and March 14 will have their delegates doled out proportionately with election results, a change that will likely stymie a movement candidate.

States that have primaries on or after March 15 will be winner-take-all states.

That’s important because another RNC rule change requires that a candidate must win a majority of delegates in eight or more states before his or her name may be presented for nomination at the 2016 Republican National Convention. (link)
Of course when these changes were being made in 2014 no-one outside the DC professional class was paying much attention to the design, and intent. With 18 GOP presidential candidates, for now, it will be that much harder for any candidate to win a majority in any state, let alone eight.
The structural RNC changes in essence created the road map.  Within them you can clearly see the dual benefit specifically for Jeb Bush.  No other candidate would benefit from these rule changes like the weakly supported Bush.
The GOPe needed to institute those rule changes if a candidate was going to win with less than 25% support from the voters.

The original 2014 plan NEVER considered Ben Carson or Donald Trump.  Carson would have been considered irrelevant, as was Rick Santorum, and Trump was never anticipated to mount a campaign for the presidency.
With the candidates you know about today, this is the way it would have looked on paper back in 2014.  The people listed (indented) after Jeb Bush would be the vote supported “splitters” to insure Jeb’s small establishment block (15-20%) would always be larger -or very close to- the opponent.

[*Note* – I’m listing them from top to bottom based on my opinion of the overall influence upon them by the Wall Street financial interests we have measured since ’13. Top = highly influenced, Bottom = Lesser influence. ]

Jeb Bush

• Lindsey Graham
• Carly Fiorina
• Rick Perry
• Marco Rubio
• Chris Christie
• Mike Huckabee
• Jim Gilmore
• George Pataki
• John Kasich

Scott Walker
Rand Paul
Ted Cruz
ο Ben Carson
ο Rick Santorum
ο Bobby Jindal
ο Donald Trump
The primary opponents to Jeb Bush were always thought to be: Scott Walker, Ted Cruz and Rand Paul.   [Carson, Jindal and Santorum irrelevant, Trump never anticipated]
This is the construct of the original road map, the GOPe strategy.

Jeb Bush -VS- Walker, Cruz and Paul.

The group of: • Lindsey Graham • Carly Fiorina • Rick Perry • Marco Rubio • Chris Christie • Mike Huckabee • Jim Gilmore • George Pataki and • John Kasich all stemmed from within the collective strategy of the RNC/GOPe along with Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Tom Donohue and the country club republicans that make up the professional GOPe, the establishment class.
tom donohueMcConnell and Boehner
Each of the aforementioned has a role to play, within the original plan, to reduce the overall percentage possible for Walker, Cruz and Paul; that’s why we called them the “splitters”.
2014 Original ROLES:

• Lindsey Graham – Split the electorate in the more conservative South Carolina by utilizing the SC/RNC machine.  Win SC or make Jeb’s 20% bigger than Walker, Cruz and Rand Paul.

• Carly Fiorina – The consummate republican DC insider. AND PARTY DECEPTICON / LIAR.  Worked on John McCain and Mitt Romney’s campaigns in ’08 and ’12.  Role = Attack Hillary, and be the torch carrier for women’s issues in the Republican party.

• Rick Perry – Split the electorate in the more conservative Texas by utilizing the TX/RNC machine.  Win Texas or make Jeb’s 15-20% bigger than Walker, Cruz or Rand Paul.

• Marco Rubio – Split the electorate in Jeb’s home state of Florida by utilizing the FL/RNC rule changes and the political machine.  Rubio is the lynchpin.  Make Jeb’s 20% bigger than Walker, Cruz or Rand Paul.

• Chris Christie – Defend Jeb, act as the attack dog entering and exiting New Hampshire. Go after Walker, Cruz and Rand Paul.  Exiting SC  position Jeb as the “moderate” who can win.

• Mike Huckabee  – Split the Evangelical voting block away from Walker, Cruz or Rand Paul.  Give Walker a run in Iowa and tamp down the planned avoidance of Jeb Bush to even mount a campaign in the state caucus.  Make Walker, Cruz and Paul appear like Wing-Nuts.

In the spring of 2015 the plan needed modifications.  April/May/June Polling showed Jeb was less liked than previously predicted in ’14 when the plan began.
In addition, some of the delegate rules changed within Pre-March 16th states, delegates were modified.  Remember, it was in this period when RNC rule changes established March 15th 2016 as the cutoff date for proportional assignments in the primaries.
Hence some electoral splitting modifications were needed.

• Jim Gilmore – Split Virginia electorate, keep Jeb’s 20% higher than Walker, Cruz and Paul.

• George Pataki – Split New York electorate, keep Jeb’s 20% higher than Walker, Cruz or Paul.

• John Kasich – Split the Ohio electorate, keep Jeb’s 20% higher than Walker, Cruz or Rand Paul.

The road map was originally contingent upon Graham, Fiorina, Perry, Rubio, Christie, Huckabee, Gilmore, Pataki and Kasich staying in the race through at least March 2nd 2016.  Hence Super-PACs were established to keep them funded through the point of their usefulness.
Obviously things so far have not gone quite as planned/preferred.  Specific issues messing up the plan:

  • Trump entered the race.
  • Jeb isn’t pulling his weight; he’s not getting the 20% range needed.
  • The anti-Jeb sentiment is stronger than anticipated.
  • Rick Perry support is weaker than expected.
  • Rand Paul support is weaker than expected.
  • Media influence is weaker than expected.
  • The voting base is coalescing toward Donald Trump, not Jeb.
  • The unwashed masses are not cooperating.

Tomorrow I’ll outline what I believe can be done to defeat their strategy.  It will not be easy, too many republican voters just refuse to see what the GOPe is doing.

Expectations from Carly Fiorina – a dangerous snake in the blend:

carly fiorina 2Carly Fiorina on Immigration: Pass the DREAM Act. For other undocumented immigrants, a direct path to citizenship is unfair. While running for the U.S. Senate in California in 2010, Fiorina said she supports the DREAM Act, which would give legal status to people who were brought to the U.S. illegally as children.

Carly Fiorina on Climate change: It is real and manmade. But government has limited ability to address it. Speaking in New Hampshire in February, Fiorina said there is scientific consensus that climate change is real and caused by humans.

Carly Fiorina on Education: Supports Common Core – Set national standards but give local districts maximum control. No Child Left Behind was positive. In a position paper while running for the U.S. Senate in California, Fiorina
