Donald Trump is Headed To Texas/Mexico Border – Governor Rick Perry is Panicked and Apoplectic…

Donald Trump announces he has been invited by the Border Patrol in Texas to visit the border region. Immediately former Texas governor, and U.S. presidential candidate, Rick Perry erupts in fury against Trump. Disconnected? Of course not.

perry smarty glassesTrump banner 2

Rick Perry is a one percent polling presidential candidate who has surged to a whopping 3% by added the optic of nerdy smart glasses to his presidential candidacy in a transparent effort to improve public opinion of his intellect; but his Achilles heel is, and will always be, illegal immigration.

Donald Trump has exposed the weakness within the GOP on the subject of immigration, illegal aliens and border security. Despite his protestation to the contrary, Rick Perry did little to change the Texas/Mexico lawless border; and, as evidenced by his own Texas crime statistics, had over 600,000 violent, felonious alien criminal arrests in just the last three years while he was governor.

Perry knows the appearance of Trump in his home turf, talking about the illegal alien problem, and promising to build a border wall as president, has all the potential makings of the last nail in the Perry-as-candidate coffin. Rick Perry doesn’t believe a wall or fence will work – because Rick Perry doesn’t believe that buckets can hold water.

(Via CBS) Republican presidential candidate and business mogul Donald Trump will be travelling to the U.S-Mexico border tomorrow, Trump’s campaign confirms to CBS News.

Trump will be visiting Laredo, Texas, a town along the most active part of the southern border, accompanied by border patrol agents. He told Fox News on Wednesday that after his inflammatory comments on Mexican immigrants, the tour will be an effort to “honor” him.

“I’ve been invited by border patrols and they want to honor me, actually, and thousands and thousands of ’em because I’m speaking up” Trump said in an interview with Fox News. “It could even be tomorrow.” (link)

In an effort to avoid the massive amount of embarrassment about to be heaped on Rick Perry he quickly runs to the microphones and spouts the Chamber of Commerce talking points in an effort to stave off the risk that is Donald Trump.

During a speech before the Opportunity and Freedom PAC Forum today in Washington, D.C., the former Texas governor made clear that he is not a fan of what he calls the “cancer of Trump-ism.”

“[M]ost telling to me is not Mr. Trump’s bombast, his refusal to show any remorse for his comments about Senator McCain, but his admission that there is not a single time in his life that he sought the forgiveness of God,” Perry said of the wealthy New York real estate mogul.

“A man too arrogant, too self-absorbed, to seek God’s forgiveness is precisely the type of leader John Adams prayed would never occupy the White House.” (link)

All Trump has to do to CRUSH the others at the debate is ask for a show of hands of candidates who promise to complete a fence along the US-Mexico border. A photo of Trump having the only hand held aloft would be atop Drudge for days. This shows how stupid the other candidates are.

      • The show of 3 hands would be Trump, his VP Carly, and his first nomination for SCOTUS, Ted Cruz. Although the greater likelihood is that they will be the first three officials rounded up, when the election is called off by the Uniparty.

I could be wrong, but I haven’t heard of Fiorina or Cruz “promise to complete a fence along the US-Mexico border”. “Secure the border”, “enforce the border”, “enhance border security”, etc. are all euphemisms that actually mean “leave the border wide open”. We know that because even the likes of Bush, Obama & Clinton commonly employ those tropes. In contrast, there is no way that “fence” can mean “not fence”. Moreover, building a fence would require among other things: 1) exact specifications mandated by congress itself (not farmed out to Sec of Homeland Security) 2) enabling legislation to trump all existing environmental and tribal law where needed 3) legislated funding (no, Mexico isn’t going to “pay for it”). If Trump pointed out these necessary steps it would show he’s serious (and demonstrate how unserious Cruz has been while in the senate). Getting any other candidate to promise to build the fence would still be a small step in the right direction, I guess.

I think that Cruz and Fiorina would be the last to be rescued by jumping from the Uniparty ship. But it could very well be every Trump for himself, and all the rest go down with the ship.

If it looks like Trump is going to win, I think they’ll have Obama pull something. I’m very serious about that. This is truly the American Spring. An Iranian response is to be expected from our treasonous POTUS who left Iranian freedom fighters to rot in jail.

I don’t disagree that “Border patrol need more men, bigger guns, meaner dogs, more ammo …”, but the key difference between those measures and a fence is that all of those measures can be easily and instantly undone with one simple executive order by any future uniparty president and could be purposely mischaracterized as a mere “redeployment of resources”. A fence, on the other hand, would have to be literally physically dismantled, and dismantling an already-built fence would be a political firestorm for any president. Even a future Obama-type wouldn’t have the balls to tear down an already-built fence.

He has no idea how fully aware we are of the endless manipulations and lies……no idea. If he were, he would notice some dots that are being connected as being fairly serious in terms of his political future and that of a bunch of others.

If I were lost in the woods and a praying liar in fancy eye wear showed up at the same time as a cursing cowboy who lived in the back country much of the year – both offering to take me to safety – not being a fool, I’d go with the guy who curses. • I’ve discarded all of political correctness. The tar baby is a brilliant metaphor. “Niggardly” sounds like the N-word. The SAMBA protocol is one vowel away from Sambo, who wasn’t even African, and if black is truly beautiful (which I believe most earnestly – one of my fave colors), then why worry?

No. Overcoming prejudice lies far, far beyond token measures like parsing our words. It’s recognizing truths – like the fact that the three people who treated me the best today, were all of African descent, or whatever people want to call it. Maybe that happens all the time, and I failed to notice the previous time. Learning is good. Truth is good.

We will overcome prejudice by more truth, not less. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Hail the first, fight the second, and have the courage to look at the third.

I believe as you. You don’t work with global financiers, publishers, television magnates, retail analysts, board room committees, raise accomplished children, have the respect of Royalty and waitresses and be bombastic, self centered and stupid.
As for the possibility that he is a Democrat, why would that create any negative impact on a Congress that is filled with more Democrats wearing Rhino suits, than actual Republicans. Why would his belief in Socialized medicine be a negative when we know that the Republicans have refused to make any changes to the socialist Obamacare legislation, since having the majority in the House and Senate?
Donald Trump has nothing to hide, he has exposed his dirty laundry, his foibles, his exploits and his opinions during the course of his lifetime. He did not just pop out of the blue like Obama. I myself am having a hard time finding downsides.

I ASKED if you (plural) were sure of his leadership qualities and motives—for POTUS.

Every job requires different skills. Bill Gates is a gazillionaire. So is Mark Zuckerburg. That they are super rich does not ensure they’d be a good POTUS. There are sure a lot of people here who don’t seem to feel Romney’s wealth and the smarts and hard work that earned him that wealth would have made him a good POTUS.

I reiterate that many here seem to find brilliance in all Trump says and does–ALL. That seems mighty sycophantic and infantile to me. Hatred for the PTB have wound up causing many to imbue Trump with all kinds of superhero abilities and motives. It’s a textbook case of projection.

I esp. was concerned when I realized that their intrigued had so quickly turned to pure adulation. I’d have thought more would adopt a wait and see and “prove it to me over time” stance.

Rick Perry’s downfall in 2011 was “have a heart” not “oops”. He can think it was “oops” all he wants, but the base never forgave him for the “have a heart”. I know. I was a Perry supporter then and watched the comments sections of blogs literally erupt after that line. Rick Perry needs to be very careful about illegals. And yet, he’s made defending Mexicans against Trump the center-piece of his “campaign”. This is political suicide. He is aligning himself with the Jeb wing, the very wing that will never support him! The Establishment thinks he’s stupid. The grassroots was his only hope. But he has punched the grassroots in the face with this. He will never recover.

The action created a waiver that primarily allowed illegal immigrants with a U.S. citizen spouse or parent to stay in the country instead of having to leave the United States and be barred from returning for three or 10 years, if they proved their absence would create an “extreme hardship” for their spouse.

The new rule expands eligibility to a host of other categories of illegal immigrants beyond those with citizen spouses and parents.
