Sex – Lies – and Benghazi Tentacles
Jill Kelly is a woman who became entangled in the General Petraeus / Paul Broadwell affair story which exploded immediately following the Benghazi attacks in 2012. The affair was used by the White House to remove the CIA Petraeus risk.
Jill Kelly was threatened by Paula Broadwell during Broadwell’s affair with Petraeus. Once the affair was exposed, the media outed Jill Kelly as the original source to the FBI who uncovered the sordid affair.
Kelly then filed a lawsuit against the FBI for releasing her identity to the public via the media. The source of that media leak was, in essence, traced to then pentagon attorney Jeh Johnson, who later became DHS Secretary.
Last September (2014) we noted that the lawsuit by Jill Kelly would carry some very interesting possibilities via judicial discovery. Today a federal judge postponed DHS Head Jeh Johnson being compelled to testify in the ongoing lawsuit.

The federal judge ruling, to the benefit -at least temporarily- for the FBI, stated that Kelly’s legal team need to first make an attempt of the reporters to get the source they cited: “A High Pentagon Official”. If the legal team is then stymied by the reporters, then a motion to compel Jeh Johnson would be reconsidered.
For those who have not followed the back story of Jeh Johnson -as he relates to Benghazi- his association can seem somewhat confusing.
♦ Johnson was the Pentagon’s Legal Counsel at the time the Benghazi attack took place. In that role, and in the year prior, Johnson was part of President Obama’s Office of Legal Counsel (OLC). While he was part of the OLC Johnson was one of a few lawyers to tell Obama he did not have legal authority to engage the U.S. in Libya.
♦ It is the opinion of some, myself included, that Jeh Johnson’s elevation to the position of DHS Secretary was payback for his loyalty in keeping quiet in 2011 (illegal Libyan intervention) before the Benghazi attack; and for his assistance in 2012 (removal of CIA Petraeus) after the Benghazi attack.
You might remember that it was Paula Broadwell who exposed the CIA Benghazi Annex as a prison of sorts, and covert black-op’s rendition site. She presumably gained this knowledge from Petraeus during their affair.
Pentagon Lawyer (White House plausible deniability) Jeh Johnson leaked the affair to the media in an effort to aid the White House in removing Petraeus. When Johnson leaked the affair, he exposed the FBI investigation containing Jill Kelly.
