I’m sorry I don’t know where to put this, but want to draw people’s attention to it.

The place for general topics is the daily Open Thread. You have tried to post this to a variety of other thread topics, and I have trashed each one.

Judicial Watch is nailing HRC in every area that Howdy seems to be lacking. JW is also gaining much ground against Lois Lerner, Holder, the Clinton’s and the IRS.

I’m still not sure about gowdy. As far as i can tell the only entity that has done anything material in terms of exposing the corruption of this administration is judicual watch. well not the only, but more than congress…

I was pretty excited about Trey at first, but it seems to be all bluster and no follow through. I would be delighted if he proves me wrong, though.

Maybe JW is not bound by the same rules that Gowdy is bound by as far as PR stuff?
I think I will like him until proven wrong.
We have a weak deck and it seems that he is one of our better cards.
At the very least he stands in stark contract to that revolting idiot Cummings who defiles the committee every time he opens his fat mouth and attempts to make a point.
      Freaking Dem Hack!

Short of waterboarding these liars there is not much that can be done. Thankfully JW is doing the heavy lifting.

As Speaker Boehner tiptoes down from Air Force One, after his wonderful ride and time with Barack, he offers those waiting on the tarmac a simple smile knowing that he had “sidelined” his “most dangerous” threat (being Rep. Trey Gowdy) when he gave him a committee to investigate Bengazi. John knew how the Executive branch was going to handle most of Trey’s serious requests, beyond stalling and lying. John also knew he was not going to actively back up this chairman with daily news briefings demanding the release of all information pertaining to, nor would he use other tools at his disposal.

John Boehner loves his power as a Washington insider. Rep. Gowdy approaches his job from a much different perspective, he has a bloodhound kind of nose and will to search out the facts wherever it may take him. We’ve seen Rep. Cummings do his best to gum up the works on this committee.

As for Kerry, he still believes in protecting Hillary as long as she doesn’t go after him and Barack doesn’t order him to release what they have. Kerry is making his mark with Iran, don’ you know…it will be his “legacy” as the true narcissist he has always been, even when carrying his personal movie camera around in Viet Nam to take selfies.

Distractions…all designed to keep the American citizenry’s eyes off the real game…the revolution within the United States by those who have hatred America since their teenage years. These are the real home grown ISIS terrorists who prance around destroying our traditions just like their brothers in the Middle East blow up their antiquities.

Our enemies reside in Washington, D.C., right under our noses!

Maybe I’m wrong, but I thought congress could have the sergeant at arms detain people for lying. When congress starts doing that, I’ll believe they are serious. I am inclined to like gowdy, but until they start using their full power, I remain skeptical.

It’s non-governmental organizations such as Judicial Watch who are making FOIA requests and following up with lawsuits if there is no response, that are doing the hard work in all these investigations.

You need a Special Prosecutor to be appointed in each of the scandals. I am sorry to say that Trey is just background noise. SD has done more to enlighten me on Benghazi than the whole of Congress and the media. A very sorry state of affairs.

Example. we are in day 780 of the IRS scandal:
    http://taxprof.typepad.com/taxprof_blog/2015/06/the-irs-scandal-day-780.html

Most of the heads of the various agencies who now testify before Congress at various hearings are arrogant and non-responsive.

OK, and JW and SD have done wonderful work but nobody in the MSM or especially the DOJ is going to do anything with that at all!
Not a freaking thing and I think we all know that so it is wonderful that we agree how corrupt Barry and Company are but that is not going to even begin to solve the problem and all the FOIA requests in the world are not going to change that.
Right now Gowdy is our best hope, IMO.

Arrogant, non responsive and lying when they can. Let’s not forget Cummings stands in the breach for the leftists. It may feel good to bash the Republicans, please keep in mind that the other team is on the field too.

Because of Operation Zero Footprint they are just beating a dead horse here. Nothing will come of any of it and that’s a crying shame.

    • Here’s what amazes me:

Despite claims to the contrary (made by numerous officials in the State Dept and military) there WAS a team in position in Italy that WAS put on alert and COULD HAVE responded to Benghazi, but WAS ordered to “Stand Down”.

Everything that we have been told by the government about Benghazi is a LIE.

And yet, with every new revelation, either in regards to Ambassador Stevens’ requests for additional security (that were either ignored or denied—by Hillary Clinton) or in regards to “Operation Zero Footprint” (the existence of which HAS been verified, along with Hillary Clinton’s approval of it) and on to the administration’s support for Libyan “freedom fighters’ (who turned out to be radical Islamists who have plunged Libya into complete chaos)… Even in the face of ALL that, John Podesta still has the nerve to claim that Benghazi is a manufactured scandal and Hillary’s famous “What difference, at this point, does it make?” quote still stands unchallenged by the committee.

How I wish that Gowdy had pilloried Hillary the moment she uttered those words. How I wish he had said:

“Ms Clinton, apparently YOU have no regard for the life of Ambassador Stevens, or for the lives of the 3 other Americans who died with him while they acted according to your wishes, in what might very well have been an illegal operation. But WE do care, and so do the American people whose votes you want.

So, “What difference does it make”? I will explain it to you. From the very first days after the compound was overran and those men died, YOU have lied about the causes of it, lied about the your knowledge and involvement in it, and have sought (at every turn) to derail any real investigation into it.

And, the reality is, the only reason why YOU don’t want the truth to come out is because YOU want to be president, which is a notion that I find utterly deplorable. You betrayed those men, you betrayed the Libyan people, and you betrayed your own country. Because of YOU, our world is a far less safer place in which to live, which tells me that you are totally unfit to occupy ANY office, let alone that of the US President. And THAT is the reason, THAT is ‘the difference that it makes’. Because, once the truth is finally known, the American public will know better than to ever again place you in a position of trust. Does that help?”

That’s a ten star comment. I couldn’t agree more. My spidey senses tell me Stevens knew too much and somebody wanted him dead. The Clinton’s have way too much blood on their hands. Notice when questioned about her emails Hillary rolls her eyes back and refuses to look dead center in the camera. Her lies are so evident. She belongs in a jumpsuit with Lerner has her roommate.

Boehner is the big problem. Until you get him out, nothing will help. He will cost us the house before it’s all said and done. What the devil does the dems have on him??? Must be real bad.

Why do they need to “have [anything] on him”? Boehner’s getting his. He’s content with the way things are – gee whiz, he even got to ride on AF1. I’m sure he was also quite comfortable as the minority leader, and will be happy to return to that role when it’s time as well. The last thing he’d want to do is to take any steps to upset the applecart. His applecart, in any case.

I think of Trey Gowdy as our time’s Patrick Henry. Everytime he speaks, you can hear the power of our Constitution. Is he mired in the muck of Washington, DC? Perhaps, but he is trying to bring light to Benghazi and I applaude him for that. He appears to be saying that he is going to start kicking but and taking names, publicly.
