The “Conversation About Race” is a Futile Pipe Dream…

There may have been a time when a discussion about racial issues was possible, but that window of opportunity quickly passed when the professional left decided to double down on division with a professional community organizer.

The professionally black have a vested ideological and financial interest in the retention of grievance.  No amount of discussion will overcome or quench the institutional need to be perpetually aggrieved.   (Apropos photo-credit Charleston, SC via CBS)

Charleston personified

We can agree the shooting in Charleston South Carolina was a hate crime; we can even concede that it might be called terrorism – but that will never change the inherent one-sided nature of the conversation.

Call it whatever you want to call it.  Hate Crimes, domestic racial terrorism, it really doesn’t matter.  If the labels apply for a white person to intentionally kill a black person solely due to the color of their skin.   Then what exactly is this:

Message from Black Panther Party shortly after participating in Trayvon Martin Rally @Fort Mellon Park, FL

Message from Black Panther Party shortly after participating in Trayvon Martin Rally @Fort Mellon Park, FL

You won’t find a single Black Lives Matter activist, supporter, proponent, or social justice warrior that will call black on white crime, “hate crimes”; even when the motive of the perpetrator is entirely racially defined.

Within the grievance community: Violence they like is speech, speech they don’t like is violence.

The same applies to behaviors within riots, looting, chaos and anarchy.  Burn a city, or target only non-black businesses for torching, and it’s an expression of social justice speech.   Arrest the criminal arsonist and you are oppressing the community.

The same AME church network being heralded in South Carolina, is the same AME church network which supports and promotes the Nation of Islam and New Black Panther Party.  It is not guilt by association, it is guilt “of” association.

When School Teachers take public school kids to hear Louis Farakahaan tell them that all white people must be killed, you don’t see AME leadership stopping him.  Quite the contrary, they are driving the school buses to the speech.

When the New Black Panther Party screams that all whites must be exterminated, or when the Nation of Islam demands that all white people be wiped off the face of the earth, you don’t see AME leadership distancing themselves.  Quite the contrary, together they rally, march and give speeches on the same platform.

According to the Marc Lamont Hill’s of the world, racial knock out attacks, by blacks, against white people, for being white people, are not hate crimes;  nor are they acts of terror regardless of whether the community is besieged by them.

Beat a white man/woman with a crow bar or baseball bat for being white, while shouting “fuck the white people, kill the white people“, and it doesn’t register as a ‘hate crime’, or racial attack. Reverse the races and the BLM mob will swarm to protect the oppressed bat wielding thug.

It’s a one-way conversation fraught with necessary intellectual dishonesty in order to reconcile the inherent hypocrisy.  Carter Strange was beaten almost to death by a mob of 8 black kids in the same place where Dylann Roof carried out his attack – The black kids were never charged with hate crimes.

Another example, recently:

Obama mass shootings

He believes this.  In his mind he is not lying, he actually believes this – because in his reality it’s true.  It doesn’t matter that such a claim is patently absurd; he has no other reference other than his belief that this claim is true.

Cumbria England Calgary Canada Tokyo Japan –  Dunblane Scotland Toronto Canada Henan Province China  – Cairn AustraliaOslo Norway Hectorville Australia  – Edmonton Canada –  Paris France  – Osaka Japan –  Germany – etc. etc.

We could list pages and pages of citations consisting of hundreds of mass murder events, none of them defined as terrorism, happening in every single country in the past 5 years.  The claim by President Obama is gobsmackingly ridiculous.

But he believes this.

Heck, a Germanwings commercial airplane was used in the French Alps to kill 130 people by a mass murderer, and what about the Malaysia Airlines plane that suffered a similar fate with twice the victims.

Take away gun ownership and it doesn’t stop the mass murder violence either.  Just look at China, Japan, Canada and Australia to see mass murder with cars, and knives;  My god – the number of mad men and women using knifes to kill kids by the dozens in schools in China, Japan and Australia is sickening.

Yet, much like the professionally black, the professionally liberal President Obama is disconnected from this reality and lives inside an alternate reality dependent on avoidance.

That conversation the professionally liberal want to keep having about race…

Yeah, futile.

There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. — Booker T. Washington, “My Larger Education, Being Chapters from My Experience“ (1911), Ch. V: The Intellectuals and the Boston Mob (pg. 118 )

Yes to Booker T. But as Sundance wrote:

“The professionally black have a vested ideological and financial interest in the retention of grievance.”

I don’t think it’s just THEIR vested interest. Follow the money. There’s another group in our society that bases its very identity on being the biggest Victims in the history of history. They have paid a lot of money via the civil rights movement to whip blacks into a mass-media-advertised and -multiplied frenzy.

Yes, we need to be internalizing what you so well point out, SD, They are Lost, Deaf, Dumb, and Blind. Learn to recognize them and dodge their gropings; Love them but stay out of their way. They will die of their delusions; you will die if you grapple with them with hate. They will die for reals; you may pass through the veil into ‘the rest of the story…’ of a loving God’s Loving Creation.
So pity them and pass on in Peace, bretheren — —

and what about the Malaysia Airlines plane that suffered a similar fate with twice the victims.

They cannot locate the wreckage and no one really understands what happened to that flight (though it appears to have been on autopilot for hours and hours before running out of fuel and going into the drink). Why are you in the business of defaming the pilots of that flight?

    • AghastInFL says:

The flight was diverted from its original flight path, from the cockpit. The flight transponder was disabled, from the cockpit. These are but two items of record that point to the cockpit, you may disagree with placing blame onto those in the cockpit, but to do so you must ignore fact as known today, not March 8,2014.

What’s been true since about 1966 is that a certain corps of ‘black leaders’ are manufactured by the media. We’re hearing who has been handed the megaphone. Some of these characters do have some followers, primarily in the African Methodist or convention Baptist precincts, sometimes in and among the patron-client networks of elected officials, and occasionally among constituents of the public schools. Some of the problem arises between the ears of these bourgeois types and some of it in the interaction between the leadership and the rank-and-file. The problem, more or less, is that acknowledgement of the real social and cultural problems within the main body of the black population is a reality that cannot be borne. Ergo, you have incidents magnified or reduced 100x by the trick mirrors these people employ. Obama has no excuse not to know that only a tiny sliver of homicides are the issue of mass shootings, or that the percentage of homicides in this country committed by police officers is in the low single digits, or that white-on-black homicide is quite unusual (as in one or two cases a year in a metropolitan region of ordinary dimensions). He could access with a mouse click the most recent data his administration is willing to publish (from the FBI and the Bureau of Justice Statistics).

      ‘…saddened by what occurred’?

I guess lawyers would not let them use the words, ‘horrified by the terrible actions of our own son.’

Somehow, ‘saddened by what occurred’ does not describe the truth and reality of the shooting.

      • Amity says:

“Devastated” pretty much covers it, though.

Cut them some slack. Their son may still be physically alive, but they have still lost the son they thought they had, plus they’re likely trying to figure out where they have failed as parents in producing a child capable of this monstrous act.

        It could have been worse.

The difference between a White Family (above) and a Black Family (below).

I think this was death by a jerk. The idiotic family went and caused a ruckus at the vigil for the officer. No class, no sense, no morals. Rest in God’s peace, Officer, thank you for all your years of service and trying to keep peace in a violent community.

The loser’s father just said that his son “was not a murderer” and “must have been provoked”. With a worthless father like that, no wonder this piece of garbage turned out like he did.

Too cowardly to kill himself so he ambushed the police to do it for him. Ridiculous. And now Cincinnati police are going to have to face more questions about the violence in the city when this situation had nothing to do with city violence. Even more ridiculous.

GeorgiaFL I noticed that, too. It’s a letter written from a distance. If you remove the first words “The Roof family”, it could have been written by anyone expressing shock at what happened. It could have been written by a politician, even. I realize the family is having a difficult time, but it is interesting that they never say in any way that they are sorry for what their son has done. They mention shock, grief, disbelief, devastation, and sadness (which are certainly appropriate and I’m sure appreciated), but nothing resembling any sort of apology for what their son has done. The letter seems written from the distance a total stranger has to horrific events – someone who cannot be said to have any responsibility for the person who is responsible for the tragedy. It’s just very interesting….

    The left created this monster.
They REFUSE to report black on white crime: Thousands of white people raped, robbed, murdered, beaten by young, black males, daily–not a peep from the MSM.
Roof saw himself dead anyway: Whites are a walking target.

Black people are killing each other at a much higher rate than they are killing white people. If whites are a walking target, blacks are still the target that gets used the most.

That said, I have wondered from the first if Roof had been bullied by some black boys, and that’s a goodly part of the reason he turned racist. That’s been the case with every racist I’ve known of Roof’s age, although most of them are only racist in the liberal left sense of the word (i.e, they want nothing to do with black people, but wish them no harm and make no claims that white people are superior).

      • The MAD Jewess says:

        The issue is racism.
And, many young, black males hate white people and murder them.
If it was in reverse, it would be non stop front page news.
