Florida Senator Marco Rubio has announced his official entry into the 2016 Presidential race.

Miami (CNN)—Sen. Marco Rubio cast himself as the forward-looking candidate to lead the nation toward a new American century when he announced his presidential bid Monday, framing the election as a “generational choice” for Americans.

Marco Rubio - enters race

“Grounded by the lessons of our history, but inspired by the promise of our future, I announce my candidacy for President of the United States of America,” Rubio told supporters at Miami’s Freedom Tower.

Rubio’s candidacy will lean heavily on his personal story as the son of Cuban immigrants and argue that the American Dream seems unattainable for many because “too many of our leaders and their ideas are stuck in the twentieth century.”

“My candidacy might seem improbable to some watching from abroad,” Rubio said. “In many countries, the highest office in the land is reserved for the rich and powerful. But I live in an exceptional country, I live in an exceptional country, where even the son of a bartender and a maid can have the same dreams and the same future as those who come from power and privilege.”

The speech marks the official public launch of a long-awaited campaign for the 43-year-old freshman senator, and signals he’ll aim to turn his youth and relative inexperience into a central calling card of his campaign. (read more)

Hillary oldmarco rubio - face

Rubio’s entry into the race will present another point of difference between the anointed Democrat Candidate Hillary Clinton.   Rubio as the bold, youthful, forward-looking candidate and Hillary as the entrenched established older political class.  An easy distinction to highlight.

If Rubio were to win the primary race it would be a bold contrast in candidates.  Many people, myself included, would have no issue happily voting for Rubio over Clinton.

patriotHowever, against the backdrop of watching the GOP for several years, and having a keen sense of identifying the objectives of the professional decepticon class, I personally do not view Rubio’s decision as an actual run for the White House.

While I dislike the cynical nature of my own opinion Rubio’s entry reeks of Decepticon maneuvering.  I find the entry of Rubio far more likely organized by the professional political class (GOP) to fracture away votes from other primary candidates thereby supporting his mentor Jeb Bush.

Rubio would easily split the Scott Walker, Ted Cruz and/or Rand Paul coalition of conservative primary voters.  Jeb Bush retaining a solid grip on the 30/40% GOP primary support he will most likely hold upon his entry.

Unfortunately I view this decision as an insurance policy by the establishment (big money) GOP to insure their more chosen candidate, Jeb Bush, ends up with the primary victory.

Rubio is giving up his Senate Seat to run for President –  He wouldn’t do so without a safety net under him in case of failure.  Find the person or group who has provided the $afety net and you identify the motive for his race.
