Minority Democrat Extremists Defy 70% of Americans – Keystone Veto Override Blocked By 37 “Domestic Terrorists”…

When Republicans were in the minority conservatives were routinely called “extremists”, “domestic terrorists”, and worse.

Ergo, following the same logic – today as the minority party, Democrats, openly defy 70% of the American Electorate, and refused to support a veto override of the Keystone Pipeline, they are positioning themselves as the extremists and domestic terrorists.

(Via The Hill) The Senate failed to override President Obama’s veto of legislation approving the Keystone XL pipeline, falling five votes short of the two-thirds majority needed in a 62-37 vote.

Nine Democrats voted with Republicans to override Obama: Sens. Joe Manchin (W.Va.), Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.), Mark Warner (Va.), Claire McCaskill (Mo.), Bob Casey (Pa.), Joe Donnelly (Ind.), Michael Bennet (Colo), Tom Carper (Del.) and Jon Tester (Mont.). (link)

Let’s not get too carried away here – since when have the RATS made a habit of doing what the majority wants? I think the RATS are backed into a corner after last November and are lashing out to keep the loony and parasite fringes of the party in place, having lost so many of their rank to an electorate waking up from the Kool-Aid binge. Most have their latte-sipping tie-dye wearing backers clapping in support, and their bucks-down anti-free-petroleum backers doing secret handshakes all around. Now it’s time to see what the population will do and if the Canadians really decide to sell the oil to the Chinese.

I wish. I don’t think they are backed in to a corner at all. Due to the leadership of the GOP and their henchmen, the heads of the various nefarious loot splitting committees. We are in a holding pattern. Going on previous democrat schemes built in to the overall progressive agenda. The GOP RINO leadership is just keeping their seats warm until they can regain their coveted minority status.

That seems like a very long time. This administration needs to be stopped before then if we are to ever recover our country.

Obama won’t ever favor anything that would strengthen the U.S. because the agenda and wishes and actions of Obama seeks just the opposite.

so what happens if some bright investment group decides to build a refinery in Canada, funded by the Chinese using US Treasurys as collateral for the loans from US banks, then defaults on the loans, the banks call the collateral, the Feds cannot redeem the bonds, and the Chinese and the Canadians sell the out put to Europe and screw Putin?

I have to admit that I am somewhat envious of the Democrats. Because they have a party that actually represents their base.

The Republicans can’t even put up a fight for us when they are the majority. But they do love to put on a good show.

The republicans canny even put on a good show. They will most likely not even show up for battle over the next long 22 months. They are proving once again, how nothing will change even with the stomping of the left from the last election. My disgust exceeds me anger at the moment which is a good thing.

I went for a dog walk with one of the very few progressive liberal friends I have (he and his wife are actually extremely generous, kind, people, believe in paying it forward and they do not go foaming at the mouth crazy when we argue, they can take criticism and lose an argument gracefully and they always lose to me 🙂 ) and even he said this was a poor veto and even sadder that something that will create some jobs and benefit the USA and Canada did not get overridden. He made the mistake of bringing Keystone and other issues up and well, he was handed his lunch for three weeks by the time our walk was over. He invited me over for lunch and I then went toe to toe with his sons who might as well be commies. Of course they drive Prius’s and I asked them if they are so stupid that they think the UN is going to provide the electricity for them down the road. So many young people have been brainwashed into the progressive clatrap and now they are old enough to vote the stoopid they have been brainwashed with.

Just made me deeply reflect on how fubar things are in this once fine, not perfect but fine Republic.

I wonder if next year when it is closer to elections, if the veto would be overridden. I would try that, then.

Lots of space in Guantanamo nowadays for these terrorists.

I volunteer to bring them Das Kapital and to handle it with gloves when handing it to them for the morning prayer.
