In light of Saturday’s brutal murders of two NYPD officers, former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani blasted President Barack Obama for inciting “propaganda” that cause people to “hate the police.”

“We’ve had four months of propaganda, starting with the president, that everybody should hate the police,” Giuliani said on Fox & Friends Sunday morning. “The protests are being embraced, the protests are being encouraged. The protests, even the ones that don’t lead to violence, a lot of them lead to violence, all of them lead to a conclusion: The police are bad, the police are racist. That is completely wrong.”
In an appearance earlier in the morning, Giuliani also called it a “false impression” and a “ridiculous myth” that the police are the problem, and added that the police are the ones who do the most to help the black community. Giuliani also said it “goes too far” to blame Mayor Bill de Blasio for the murders, as NYC Patrolman’s Benevolent Association head Patrick Lynch did on Saturday.
