Fundraising Sites and Financial Support Sites For Police Officer Darren Wilson Forced To Shut Down By Rabid Left-Wing Opponents Who Support “Hand’s Up – Don’t Shoot” Movement

BGI and Radical Leftists Get Victory Over Darren Wilson

SAINT LOUIS – Supporters of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, who sparked weeks of unrest after he shot and killed unarmed teen Michael Brown, have raised so much money to support him that they had to open a second online fundraiser.

On the fundraising website GoFundMe, supporters needed just seventeen days to raise more than $420,000 for the officer, portrayed as either a hero or a monster in many of the reports and conversations around the country about Ferguson.

But a national nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the voice of black America is calling out the popular fundraising site for profiting off Wilson’s fundraisers, saying the site is financially exploiting racial intolerance and murder.

angry black coalition

Color of Change, founded after Hurricane Katrina to empower black people, has launched a petition demanding that GoFundMe return the profits it has made from campaigns for Wilson. The fundraising site automatically charges 7.9 percent and 30 cents per donation in the U.S. and Canada.

“GoFundMe should return any money it has made from Darren Wilson fundraising pages, and take them down immediately,” the petition says. “Profiting off the killing of Michael Brown is not okay. Profiting off of racially-motivated donors is not okay.”

Color of Change says it has 83,000 signatures so far and is aiming for 100,000.

On the petition, Color of Change says GoFundMe will be violating its own terms of service through the “financial exploitation of a crime” if Wilson is charged in relation to Brown’s shooting.

Color of Change has had success with its petitions before. In January 2013, Oxygen Media opted not to air the reality show All My Babies’ Mamas about the life of rapper Shawty Lo and the ten women who have birthed his eleven children after 45,000 people signed a Color of Change petition against the show.  (read more)

darren wilsonWe don’t know any specific details, and the ‘Support Darren Wilson’ community is horrible with messaging or crisis communications, but essentially what’s known is the GoFundMe organization has shut down fundraising for Officer Darren Wilson.

It appears the Mike Brown side, supported by radical left-wing groups and the professional Black Grievance Industry, have mounted a legal assault onto Darren Wilson.

The Facebook support page for Darren Wilson is doing a horrible job explaining what’s being encountered. Perhaps the aforementioned groups have been successful with gag orders, or perhaps the people in charge of Wilson’s support just are terrible with communication; regardless something is amiss.

The Support Darren Wilson page does note they have their own attorneys involved and are attempting legal pushback.   On the positive side they were able to raise over $400k prior to the beginning of the legal battle.

Write to GoFundMe and complain about the fund for Dorian Johnson. The sob story is a lie that he and his girlfriend and their daughter were forced to leave. We found out last night (thank you poster) that Dorian was EVICTED from his apartment and the eviction began in early July, a month before Michael Brown was shot. We also found out that Dorian had a MALE roommate, Shawn Goodlow. It also appears that Dorian owes the apartment complex $2766. The rents are cheap there, that’s probably 6 months’ of rent. If there is going to be a fund for Dorian that’s fine, but they need to update the info so it’s correct. People need to be aware of where their donations might be directed, i.e., to pay off debt instead of the specified purpose.

I also searched if Dorian’s middle name is Jarvis, if he was born in 1992, and if he lives at:
      XXXXXXXXXX
      XXXXXXXXXXX

A judgement was made that he has to pay $41 child support for a minor child.

He has two child support orders! One for $2xx/month for one woman and the other is the one you documented. On the GoFundMe and in a media interview there is mention of a girlfriend and the girlfriend’s daughter, I don’t recall though if he ever claims that the girlfriend’s daughter is his. I hope not. Guy needs to learn how to use a condom. No wonder everyone is related to everyone else in that neighborhood, everyone is Michael Brown’s “cousin”, probably Dorian is related to him too.

I just realized, Dorian is getting deeper and deeper in debt. $41/month here, $2xx/month there, owes apartment complex $2766, has been evicted, now probably has an attorney working for him. I think it was he who complained about no jobs in his neighborhood, that he has to go to other neighborhoods to find work. Well Dorian, that’s what many of the rest of us do too. We don’t all have the luxury of living 2 blocks from our workplace. I have moved to different cities for jobs! Suck it up, big boy, get your life straightened out, start using a condom, get a job and work hard, and everything will work out for you. Life is hard, don’t ever think that it’s easy even for so-called privileged people.

First off, we want to say again how much we appreciate ALL of the support for Officer Darren Wilson. This page and everything we have done, up until this point, would not have been possible if it hadn’t been for everyone here.

Secondly, we understand your questions, concerns and frustrations with both GoFundMe accounts. Please note, NOBODY shut down the GoFundMe account because of any petitions floating around trying to close it and GoFundMe did not close them either. That decision was made by those closest to Officer Darren Wilson looking out for his best interest. We are doing our best daily to keep you updated (to the best of our ability) with all truths that come to us. That is our number one priority, to always be honest with our supporters.

Rest assured, if you donated to either GoFundMe it will go to Officer Darren Wilson. We are constantly trying to find the best ways to support Officer Darren Wilson as we know our supporters want to keep helping as best they can.

Bare with us as we are going through these changes. We will continue to be open and honest with our supporters. We will not do anything unless it is in the best interest of Officer Darren Wilson.

    Thank you all, so much!

You’re confused? I am totally baffled

What logic would dictate that “those closest to Officer Darren Wilson” would find it in “his best interest” to stop accepting funds for his financial well-being that were being offered freely and without solicitation? (I don’t recall anyone knocking on MY door, with upraised palms, or any RoboCalls begging for MY financial support)

And why, if the removal of his GoFundMe page was not forced by Color for Change, or unilaterally by GoFundMe itself, would the “We Are Darren Wilson” crowd still recommending that donations can be sent directly to Officer Wilson in care of the Ferguson PD?

I’m smelling something here, and it ain’t roses. I just don’t know what it is yet.

I wonder if Rush, Sean Megyn, Bill, Jeanine, Mark, Michael, Hugh or Michelle smell the same thing or if they have any idea what the aroma really is?

A little birdie told me that they have each received a communication about this…

Perhaps there’s a reason relating to one or more legal issues about the money. Perhaps Officer Wilson’s attorney(s) think it’s best if Crump & Co. don’t know where the money is parked or how much there is. Perhaps Officer Wilson’s attorneys believe that the rabid supporters of Thug Brown will forget about the money and calm down. It seems to be a topic that has them foaming at the mouth and their heads exploding. Perhaps they believe it serves a flash point of sorts. You can still send donations to Officer Wilson in care of Ferguson Police Department, according to their website for Darren Wilson, at least as of yesterday.

Yes, highly likely it’s for legal or tax reasons, as well possibly the other reasons you mention.

That’s exactly right, I contributed to the Shield of Hope fund early on that was linked to the Police Dept web site, before a GoFundMe fund was established.

After reflection, Officer Wilson’s advisors may have decided GoFundMe wasn’t as advantageous as going a different route.

But whatever route they choose, I’ll be happy to see it posted prominently here at CTH, same as I learned of the earliest fund.

  7. Greetings all from Ferguson, MO. Yep, I get the er, proud, no, let’s say very quiet honor of actually living in this now God forsaken town of Ferguson, MO. Used to be a OKish town, around Aug. 8, after that, well yeah.

Anyway – I stumbled in this site a weekish ago, KNOWING, that someone somewhere got it! The mainstream media was having so much fun showing the plight of the downtrodden masses of Ferguson, and the heart wrenching story of Dorian Johnson and Michael Brown, 2 young angels, “Who weren’t doing anything wrong, just out spreading the word of Jesus Christ”. *sniffle sniffle

It’s been busy, so I haven’t had time to introduce myself, I’m Kendra, nice to meet you all. 👋

The Support Darren Wilson FB page, good people. It was just started by someone who felt as I did, then it grew and grew. They are just a normal person, a good person, prolly better then me.

The problem we have in MO is – I can say it – we are all racists! Yep! Our cops mow down innocent young angles who (read above about Jesus) spend their time running errands for their grandma’s at the local markets. And since we are such racists – the good people who started the Support Darren Wilson funds, shouldn’t have anything to do with racist money. And since Darren Wilson is such a racist of course, you’d think he could take our tainted $$$$.

This poor man – it boils my blood that he has been judged so harshly. This case is as many of you know is not looking like neither an issue of racial profiling, or police brutality. Both of which do happen for sure, but this man has already been convicted globally. The GoMeFund fundraiser page has the ability to leave comments, and it seems some over eager donators left some messages for Darren that could be considered racist to some. Now I have to tell you, from living this “No Justice No Peace” crusade, they were pretty mellow to me. I’m not sure if the fine folks here understand “peaceful protests”, as tomorrow, Monday Labor Day, they plan to shut down highways around Ferguson for 4 1/2 minutes – to protest the 4 1/2 hrs it took to remove Michael’s body. Because let’s face it – what better way to protest a death then risking lives eh?

I’m sure it’s in Darren Wilson’s best interests not to accept any money from such racists as us, as the whole world has branded him one already. IMHO – when he’s cleared locally through the GJ, if the Feds find any civil rights violations – then this finally becomes racist.

Sorry to rant, as you all can tell I have a bit of pent up frustration about it all. Thanks for your support, clear headed reasoning, and just knowing that not everyone isn’t after this poor guy.

I do know that “Go Fund Me” the first account, was allowing comments to be made to the Officer. I do know that some of the comments made could be perceived as biased. I do know that someone using the name of donor “Michael Brown” contributed small amounts of money and would make posts such as “Why did you have to kill me, I had my hands up” The fund became the target of attacks by “let’s call them” the FergusonTribe. These people were threatening the site and the persons who set up the fund, with claims that posts were racial, violent, etc.etc.etc.
It is my belief that the first “GoFundMe” account became a lightening rod and that is not what Darren Wilson or his supporters wanted. So, the fund was moved under the umbrella of The Shield of Hope organization, “a protective haven” for the Darren Wilson supporters & donors. Seriously, who would have thought that asking for donations would erupt into a firestorm of challenges from radical organizations all over the nation? As for what is happening with the Shield of Hope organization and any attacks towards them, I do not know, but I would hazard a guess that there are attorneys on staff and they will fight against opposition on behalf of the Darren Wilson fund.

If the Grand Jury returns a “No true bill”, Officer Wilson will want to have moved the money into a trust or something because the BGI will be pouncing on it and trying to have the funds frozen so that they can get their hands on it. Hopefully that’s what the brouhaha for the last couple of days has been about. That poor man though because he won’t be able to live in Ferguson anymore. If I was him, I’d apply for a new SSN.

If the grand jury returns a no-bill, Wilson won’t be arrested at the state level unless Nixon overturns his previous claim that he won’t appoint a special prosecutor. Then it could happen. It could also happen at the federal level, although that seems unlikely.

The point is, unless Wilson is arrested, there would be no grounds for a court to grant an order freezing the money, assuming one was requested. Crump and his slime brethren need an arrest in order to be able to file a civil suit, and that’s all they care about and that’s probably about 95% of the reason for manufacturing and distorting evidence that they hand off to the media tools to further distort and sensationalize for them. They create pressure on prosecutors, grand jurors, trial jurors in order to get an arrest. As long as there is some entity with some money, they will use their plantation blacks to create an atmosphere of violence and absurd demands.

Slightly O/T: One of my favorite videos to come out in all this was the one with the three thug stooges being interviewed while sitting on a back fender of an open box truck (or something that looked like that). In reference to the market they razed and burned, one of them threatened more violence and destruction if ‘they’ don’t get in here and rebuild this sto’ ‘cuz now we havin’ to drive to Walmart for gas and food, nomesayin’?

These people are so beyond stupid they have no clue as to how hypocritically absurd they are. Tools, clowns and stooges, all of them. I don’t think anybody takes them seriously nor cares a whit about them. They are just a hive of Democrat plantation parasites occasionally revved up and whipped into action to serve the purpose for which they were born, which is to feed and advance the Left through its BGI wing.

I’m not as quick to believe that Eric Holder will let this drop. I think one of the reasons that we’re seeing the UN involved and making comments regarding Human Rights violations is to give Holder the backing that he needs to bring this into court. He learned from the Trayvon case and is now building coalitions that will bring about pressure on the courts to view this as a Civil Rights abuse issue.

          Liked by 1 person

          • Kitty Smith says:

Well, I’m not saying Holder will drop it. He won’t drop it. He hasn’t even dropped the case on Zimmerman. He will use the cloud of the “ongoing” investigation itself as a punishment. But it doesn’t seem likely that Holder will file charges against Wilson without a seemingly indisputable smoking gun. If he has anything for a toehold, he might do it just so Crump can file his suit against Ferguson PD and be a hero to blacks. But blacks show no signs of leaving the Democrat plantation anytime soon so he doesn’t really need to please them. Crump & Co. have only been successful in getting sympathy for MB among blacks. They were much more successful across the races with TM because he was still a minor, wasn’t 300 lbs., and hadn’t just committed a felony on video. Combine that with a lack of readiness by people who saw the truth early on in the TM case but didn’t anticipate the level of lies, distortions, and manipulations perpetrated by attorneys, the media, and various pro-black organizations that are handmaidens of the Left and you can see why the likelihood of the same success in this case is measurably less. Plus, this is a cop, and people, including middle-class and upper-class blacks, generally believe in law and order.

As for the UN, they always have and always will seize any opportunity to bash the U.S.. They will use any controversy to propagandize and sling mud at the west; the U.S. and Israel in particular. The majority of UN member-countries hold either a Marxist or Middle Eastern imperialist political philosophy. I really don’t see Eric Holder conspiring with the UN over MB when most Americans don’t like, listen to or respect the UN in the first place. The UN doesn’t need Eric Holder or anybody else to seize on some relatively minor U.S. domestic issue to bash us yet again, and Eric Holder doesn’t need the UN to make life a living hell for Darren Wilson or that of any white person who dares to shoot a black no matter what vile crime they’re committing.

Your link at “shut down fundraising” brings us to the second GoFundMe page that was set up for Officer Wilson (the one that lets people make tax-deductible contributions), and it has this message still in place:

Welcome supporters of Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson! We thank you so very much for your support! Every donation, kind word and prayer are deeply appreciated! This page will replace the previous “Support Officer Wilson” page, so that donations will be tax deductible through “Shield of Hope”, a certified charity, and the official non-profit organization accepting donations for Officer Wilson at this time.

Shield of Hope will use donations to provide needed support to Officer Wilson. Should there be an excess of donations, those funds will be used to support other distressed officers and the Ferguson Police Department.

Look back at what happened with George Zimmermann. As soon as a trial judge found out about the defense fund, he set a bail that more than wiped it all out. The donated money ended up going to a bail bondsman, who made a big profit on it.

Darren Wilson does not need our money now. Keep your credit card in your wallet until after has has been indicted, arrested, and bail has been set. He has over $400k right now. This will cover his housing expenses for quite a while.

If there is a trial, he will need money, and I will be one of the first to donate, but he doesn’t need it now.

For my money, he needs to spend it right now to buy a house in a defensible location before the legal system sends it down the drain to a bail bondsman’s profits. Don’t forget, he has a lot of advantages over GZ. The Ferguson PD is going to be helping with his security, probably at no cost to him. A house with multiple escape routes, far from the city would be a great place. Maybe even a lawn big enough to land a helicopter.

Spend the money he has right now on that, held in an anonymous name, and then wait and see what happens.
