Comrade DeBlasio Inc. Removed New York “Stop and Frisk” Policy – Last Night At Least 13 Shot In 5 Boroughs

Maybe they should pass some strict gun control laws or something.   No, wha… wait.

bill de blasioNEW YORK (CBSNewYork) It was a violent night in New York City after at least 13 people were shot in incidents spanning each of the five boroughs.

As CBS 2′s Janelle Burrell reported, one of the shootings happened on Staten Island, where a man is fighting for his life after being shot in the face.

The incident happened at around 3:30 a.m. on Amboy Road in the New Dorp section of Staten Island.  Police were still on the scene Sunday morning collecting and processing evidence, including a backpack that belonged to the 42-year-old victim.

[…] Neighbors also said the victim only moved to the area a few months ago with his wife and son.

“It’s a man and his wife and their son. They’re very quiet people. They just moved in not long ago. They’re very nice people,” neighbor Mike told WCBS 880′s Miller.

Mike was just returning home from the night shift, only to find his house was on the part of the street that was sectioned off by police.

The shooting incident is just one of 13 that happened across the city in the last 24 hours, WCBS 880 reported.  (read more)

Here’s another video I discovered while reading the article that accompanied the original video.!/on-air/as-seen-on/Middle-School-Melee-Investigated/264820681

Notice how the story reveals that “the trailer” seems to be where kids are sent when they have violated some sort of rule, and stay there all day, without classes and (apparently) without any meaningful supervision? According to the mother they interviewed, her son was sent to “the trailer” because on that day he wore a shirt that was not approved under the school’s dress code.

One person commented that the school seems to be preparing students for Riker’s Island.

Perhaps equally disturbing is the fact that a concerned mother felt the need to disguise her voice for this report, out of “fear of retaliation”. Society continues to fracture as so many abandon any semblance of “civilized behavior”.

Now we have three major cities run by Democratic mayors with extraordinarily high homicide rates: Detroit (Lord rest its soul), Chicago (producing such notorious offspring such as Saul Alinsky and Barack Obama) and now NYC. What part of this can we not learn from?

    • czarowniczy says:

Don’t forget New Orleans – they been awhackin’ ’em this week like it’s a contest. Even had one tourista shot when said visitor stepped off of a street car on St Charles (nice area) only to get caught in a fixed gun battle twixt two groups that the press went to painful degrees to NOT identify. That shooting was only hit on twice – one by reach of two of the four networks in town – so far. No word from the DemocRATic mayor, he’s probably looking for a way and/or venue to present two different version of the ‘We’re So Sorry Uncle Albert’ speech to liberals who believe the guns walked out and started shooting all on their own and scared sh*tless citizens who are scared to take their trash out without a police escort.

Stop and frisk is unfortunately a mandatory function in a city such as NYC. I wonder how large the butcher bill will go before the so-called “Mayor” has to obfuscate and backtrack, then rename and put forth the same rebranded policy. He will have to do this at some point for the sake of registered voters who also pay the vig for living there. If he does not reverse his ill considered choice, I am not sure there are enough statistical magic tricks to hide the carnage. And it is only June.

Maybe there is money to be made doing short term leases to the city of refrigerated storage units, as they have to run out of drawer space at some point.

Think what the result will be as the temperature soars in the coming weeks.

    • Daniel says:

Check your racism sir. You have expressed that the “city” is somehow responsible for the behavior of its residents. That is completely false in a nation of laws based on the notion that each individual is responsible for his own actions. And keep in mind, the stop and frisk practice was only done in certain, specific areas. Once again, it is not the land causing the problems but the invidivuals occupying space there.

So I guess what I’m getting at is when you talk about an area, you mean the people. And since stop and frisk targets specific areas and not the whole of NYC, you mean specific people. I’m not going to ask which specific people you mean because we all know already.

And it’s interesting that you meantion storage space for corpses. I read a story not long ago where that was a huge problem. The friends and families would not retrieve the bodies and the space was gone. They had to resort to cremation knowing that such practice could and most certainly would, at some point, lead to very shocking and horrifying things. The demographic set is very similar to that which resides in the stop and frisk areas. Your predictions fit in easily with similar areas and they problems they are failing to manage.

      • TrickleUpPolitics says:

What the hell do you mean calling him a racist? If you mean calling for stop and frisk in black neighborhoods because that is where black people are shooting each other, that is not racism. It is reality. How does cremation lead to “very shocking and horrifying things”? What are you doing even reading this site? Troll alert.

        • partyzantski says:

          Thank you for your support!

The old bank robber John Dillinger was once asked why he robbed banks. His reply was “that is where the money is”.

This same principle is what the NYPD used to apply in areas of the city ( a point I did not adequately cover and was taken to task over).

      • “Check your racism”

For the sake of your mental hygiene, please “check” your clichés and thoughtless, pre-masticated, regurgitated categories you’ve been brainwashed with, in whatever worthless intellectual hellhole you called college.

      • partyzantski says:

Thank you, I appreciate you calling me a “racist”, whatever that means these days. Is “registered voter” somehow new progspeak for a race code word? Can you send me a copy of that memo from the head office?

Now, can you share with the readership your qualifications to be able to judge so-called “racism”? A course completion certificate, maybe? Perhaps you can put me in touch with some continuing education credits so that I can get up to speed. I am curious about this “racism” that you speak of.

    • rovatek says:

“Stop and frisk is unfortunately a mandatory function in a city such as NYC.”

Funny, I thought the 4th Amendment applied everywhere in America, big city or not.

      • LetJusticePrevail" says:

        That’s a great point.

        • We can sleep peacefully at night knowing that the peaceful, flourishing city of Detroit hasn’t been encumbered by the shady practice of “stop and frisk” . . .

PS I can see the slippery slope facet of the argument, too.

      • partyzantski says:

I’d agree with you if they did not prohibit the carriage of firearms by the law abiding.
The law breakers don’t care about the details of the laws.
The current policies are quite clearly insane and the work of a madman (yes Diblasio, if the straitjacket fits…)
The stop and frisk does not sit easy with me. However, NYC is not Disneyland. The vast hordes of generational welfare leeches and rent control dwellers are a profound drag upon the safety and productivity of the city.
There are other administrative and fully legal tools and mechanisms that can be used to drain the city of its free wheeling criminal element. The city and the nation are not ready to accept those measures yet. YET.

  4. czarowniczy says:

Hey, just ask Bloomberg. As soon as all civilian guns are outlawed there’ll be no reason for the police to stop and frisk citizens.

  5. joshua says:

Oh snap! I KNEW that NYC should have elected Anthony Weiner as Mayor….turned the town into a sexting capital of the world, you can’t shoot straight while snapping a “selfie” of the tool box.

  6. dsb steve says:

We should try for a grand bargain. Allow a state to prevent a resident of their state from buying a gun in another state. In exchange, change the constitution to give power to the states to control their own borders – that is states control immigration into their state.

  7. Tank says:

The total is up to at least 20 now.

  8. Josh says:

And yet, New York will vote for DeBlasio again when given the chance. I have no doubt.
