About Patriot Dreamer

“When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion – when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing – when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors – when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you – when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice – you may know that your society is doomed.” ~Ayn Rand *************************************************** In the battle between good intentions vs. unintended consequences….UC always win. ~Sharon

Rule 501: Democrats always accuse the other side of the things they do, always assuming the other side has the same motive as they.

Once you understand that the cornerstone of Progressiveness is “oligarchy” whereupon the ruling elites adjudicate everything that others do without applying it to themselves, you will be able to understand the mindset.

A Progressive is just a Marxist in a nice suit who has an opinion about, and a desire to control, everything that YOU do!

Those two are super odd. I’ll never forget the show (don’t remember if it was 20/20 or CNN or what) where she is on the porch out back of her house shortly after the shooting and he is shooting “the exact same kind of gun she was shot with” and with every shot she is giggling and clapping.

Gabby Giffords remains a homewrecking icon of the feminist movement. Apparently, her current hubby did not believe in the “if you like your wife, you can keep your wife” policy.
So, to open the floor to a debate… who is sleazier and more dangerous to the continuation of Western culture, home wrecking ingenues or balding, nominally virile men with a Testosterone count falling faster than POTUS’ approval rating?

OMG, I can’t stand that woman and her insane hubby. I really wish they would just crawl back in the hole they crawled out of, maybe take a trip to the moon and stay there. Whiny cluster of cells.

OK, to put it into context about the anti-women attitudes of conservatives v. progtards…. there is no porn film made to delegitimize Gabby Giffords. Sarah Palin was subject of this vile political tactic. So, which party hates women? You know the answer.

While I may not like their political views or their stance on gun control, what happened to Gabby was a terrible thing. She was shot for crying out loud. Her lack of expression and brain damage is understandable due to the shooting and should not be made fun of. That sort of talk makes us look no better than those talking badly of Shirley Temple.

I agree, what happened to Gabby was beyond terrible, because it didn’t end with just a “shooting” – it was a challenge and an affront to our belief in a free, open society. Do we really want a world where political representatives are frightened to meet with their constituents in public?

However, that being said, that doesn’t release her from any criticism of her policy advocacy or personal choices. And it’s annoying that her husband is now some sort of “gun control” advocate — because, why??? exactly.

There is nothing wrong with calling either of them out for their positions and their hypocrisy.

There is nothing wrong with calling them out for their political positions. I don’t agree with their politics or postion on gun control. I do think it is hypocritical for them to have guns themselves.

You are absolutely right! They are both hypocrites of the highest order regarding the position they have on so-called “gun control”.

He is a “gun control” advocate because that is all he can do. What other skills might he have? If he had any, he would use them. Instead, he decided to become a bought pawn. Sad, really.
We fret over the Congresswoman, what of the others killed that day? I did not remember the names so I had to look them up… (thank you, wikipedia)

        Killed:
        Christina Taylor Green
        Dorothy “Dot” Morris
        John Roll
        Phyllis Schneck
        Dorwan Stoddard
        Gabriel “Gabe” Zimmerman

While it is intriguing regarding Judge Roll, I am getting more skeptical of a conspiracy on this. The evidence really shows a deranged man, likely on significant anti-psychotics (see Denninger on the black label warnings for psychotropic meds) who fixated on the Congresswoman for whatever insane reason. I doubt it was rational in any way. He then lost it, like a percentage of mentally troubled/diseased/suffering people do who skip a few doses and then… BAM. This sort of thing should be as easy to predict as the effect of gravity on small rocks.

If it was not a handgun, he would have used a car (actually far more deadly per capita), or a manual farm implement (shades of Rwanda). Maybe he would have used something else. Nevertheless, it is not possible to stop all evil, as God grants man free will. It would be an interesting discussion about the issue of if insane people can express free will. Anyone out there with any background on this? I have nothing.

It is my opinion that the “conspiracy” involves the drugs, a recurring connection between most of these mass killings.

From those on the inside, “You just wind them up and turn them loose.” What if there were a program to find those who are vulnerable (via the Internet), use powerful mind altering drugs (common to every mass event since Columbine) and other forms of behavioral programming (what do think Ivan Pavlov et al were doing?) that creates homicidal/suicidal maniacs (see Jacobs Ladder and other CIA ops)? “It’s what the American public doesn’t know, that makes them the American public.”
