John Kerry Joins Nancy Pelosi’s Syrian Logic: We’re Going To Have To Fight This War To Find Out Who’s In It…..

Syria Banner

Toward the end of this brief video Secretary Kerry says:

…. “I guarantee you if we turn our backs today, the picture we all saw in the paper today and the media of those people shot, that will take place more because more extremists will be attracted to this, because they will be funded as the only alternative in order to take on Assad”….

Accurately Rush Limbaugh opines.   Rush Limbaugh makes a great point regarding John Kerry’s insistence that these Syrian rebels are moderates — yet he referred to American military as murderers who terrorize women and children.

Well, now maybe he doesn’t want to.

President Barack Obama hinted Friday that he might not strike Syria if Congress rejects his authorization request.

“I’m not itching for military action… and if there are good ideas that are worth pursuing, then I’m going to be open to them,” he told one reporter who asked if he was seeking alternatives to a missile strike.

    Let’s see. We have friends all over the world who are ready to stand with us on this. There is a guy in Turkey, a woman in Poland, some drunk French chefs, and others, many,many, others. Oh, yes, and the Saudis will be happy to give us some money to help pay for this. But, they can’t fly their planes because it is hard for the pilots to fly in their dresses and they can’t get helmets on over the scarfs on their heads. Besides that they have coated their planes with gold to make them prettier and they are too heavy to fly. This is alll nutz. And, no, I am not drunk. But, that is a thought. {sigh}

This boy’s been ‘shoveling’ it to us too long to stop – sort of like one of those ‘Hey Bubba!’ videos where instead of quitting the only way the actor can think of to save face is repeat his mistakes. I’m thinking the guys who put him in office are laughing their butts off as we watch transfixed as Clarabell prance across the international stage and they rib Treasury blind.

  4. The truth is, our inexperienced and arrogant POTUS has painted himself and the U.S. into a corner. No matter what we do now, it’s a lose/lose situation. This is what happens when the electorate ignores complete and total lack of actual governing and foreign policy experience. We haven’t had a great choice for POTUS in a while, but “the people” have consistently chosen the worst choices to support. The U.S. is no longer the most feared nation – in fact, I’m not sure we’re feared at all, by anyone. We have “friends” all over the world supporting us? France, Turkey and Jordan? Really??

      Hi Conservative –
When an effort SHOULD have been made – with full faith and credit of the USA, where was Samantha as a conference was being held at the United Nations? That could have advanced concepts of how to force a NEGOTIATED resolution of this civil war? She was off to Ireland to attend a “Charlie Chaplin” movie fest. Talk about incompetence, and FAILURE TO DO YOUR JOB. That could have been the start of a serious proposal. The POTUS, rather that acting as a SERIOUS PERSON, instead wants to fire missiles into Syria, because of the INCOMPTENT person he appointed to the UN. THAT is why the USA is becoming the laughing stock of the world. Where does Obama FIND these people, and WHAT are their qualifications??

It’s scary that he is so convincing, as if he believes his own lies.

This sounds more like a threat then a guarantee. Almost as if it is a plan that extremist will be funded to step up, I wonder who will be doing the funding? Rumor has it that there was quite a bit of money in Benghazi for the weapon buy back program, where did that all go? And where did all the weapons go (along with those left with us by the British for safekeeping)?

Pssssst… Our Dear Leader is a clinical narcissist. He believes everything he says, and whatever he says is self-serving. After all, in his world, at which he is the center, it’s all about him. He’s as nutty as a fruitcake member of the Kim family.

Responsibility to Protect (R2P) then becomes Responsibility for the Killing of innocents. Look at that stack of Bibles…. it is analogous to a pile of shoes at a concentration camp.

Take a hard look at that and ask yourself… what happened to the PEOPLE who used to read those bibles? Is it conceivable that they met the same/similar fate as the Jews at Belzec?
O.K., that question answered, what role will history assign America?
We all know the right answer.

Time for Kerry, Pelsoi, Reid, McCain, McConnell and the other fossil fools to take their dementia medication. Either they have forgotten where they are or who put them there. They are “itching” (“can’t tell you what I know”) to give Syria a case of the crabs while risking terminal cancer on the rest of the world in the aftermath.

  9. And Charlie Rangel rears his ugly head again – he wants the draft instituted, including women, before we go to war in Syria. His reasoning? Too many “underprivileged” are our troops. These liberals make me sick. It’s bad enough that they’re considering sending our kids who voluntarily joined the service – but at least they’re there because they want to be. I thought the purpose of the draft was to outfit our armed forces when there is a lack of troops – not to “even out the socio-economic playing field” – and, when there are ample volunteers, I would think that a draft would only weaken our armed services and put our troops in harm’s way.

Underprivileged? Americans are the most privileged in the history of mankind. To see who is actually bearing the brunt of this idiocy, esteemed members of the House may want to consider visiting the local VA hospitals. Go to Bethesda/Walter Reed NAVHOSP. Go to Balboa.
Take a look at the brave men and women there. Take a silent mental poll of who is in those facilities and then you shall know the truth of what demographic is being sacrificed upon the altar of western civilization (or what is left of it).
After you take a look at that, you may see the faces of the fallen in any number of newspapers… try the (fill in the service) Times series (not a plug for them, as they are not chosen reading material). Then you will see what you suspect.
The old anti-war cry was “no blood for oil”… amend that to “no blood for ego”.
Consider the ancient concepts of Jus ad bello & Jus ad bellum. Justice in going to war and justice in conduct of war. The Pope is the leader of the free world in this effort.

Kerry is a joke! Obama is a joke. I always try to find good in people, I really do. It gets so frustrating talking to some of friends who are.. Gasp.. LIBERALS.. Obama or Kerry can say one thing one day and the next day complete opposite and they will justify it. There are some Republicans that I do not care for, just because I am Republican does not mean I agree with every Republican.. Sorry, long day.

WASHINGTON — Even as he beseeches former colleagues in Congress to vote for President Barack Obama’s plan to bomb Syria, Secretary of State John Kerry made it clear in an interview with The Huffington Post that he thinks the president has the right to order air strikes in the face of congressional disapproval.

If that scenario were to materialize — a bombing campaign after a “no” vote — the result would almost certainly be an impeachment drive in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives. (LINK ABOVE)

      Hi Stormy –
I total agree. I would be first to sign the petition for impeachment of Obama. There is an old saying:

“Staring a WAR is like entering a “dark room”. You have no idea what is in that room, nor what un-predictable things will happen, or even if you will survive. ”

This is the danger for Obama – if he STARTS this war with Syria.

We need to stay out of this. The middle eastern countries have countless grudges against each other Shia/Sunni etc.. Without our presence they will address those grudges with each other. Our presence just gives them them a common focal point. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Let Saudi and Iran confront each other. We don’t need their oil anymore. Where’s our pipeline Bro.
