Thanks Weed! It’s time to return Benghazi to the front page.

Breaks my heart that no one within the Obama administration had The Ambassador’s “six” and 7 months later still don’t 😦

      And won’t.

    • Sharon says:

Benghazi revealed that we have rulers who who literally do not lose any sleep over knowingly abandoning our people and watching/letting them die. We still have the same rulers, and those who resist them are being moved out of positions of influence and authority.

Our Republic is shattered at the core. The center no longer holds.

      • Time for a new center. Long past time.

      • Chip Bennett says:

Our Republic is shattered at the core. The center no longer holds.

We lost our Republic when the federal government gained the ability to tax citizens directly, and took election of Senators out of the hands of State legislators and put their election in the hands of the popular vote.

The rest has just been a slow decline.

        • Sharon says:

I agree, the slow decline brings us to the collapse.

During the summer of 2008, I remember the futile conversations with friends and family in which they scoffed at the idea of any serious danger to the Republic as a result of obama’s election. It didn’t take a very long conversation to realize that they were projecting the characteristic of indestructibility on to the nation.

When I would simply say, “The United States not have a guaranteed future as nation. It just doesn’t. It is possible for this nation to be destroyed,” either the conversation would end as they just walked away in silence or they became very angry.

That idea that “even this nation is subject to destruction” was not to be tolerated..

Hi, Y’all…….Just wanted to re read myself too you and introduce O-O…..
I just saw a suggestion about putting together a composite, truthful, positive portrait of GZ to issue by what ever means as a counter weight to the manufactured Trademark image. I intend to mine the Treehouse files of course, but there was a beautiful slideshow video of GZ with a musical accompaniment; the pictures beautifully communicated George’s underlying strength of character and would, I think, be a good Header…Do any of you know what post that was in.??????? The irony is soooo rich. Fantastic political commentary. Hit ’em and hit ’em hard. Over and over. Never give up. Never give in.

  6. Sam says:

It is definitely time for a return to the Benghazi scandal. I saw a report in the Washington Times that Lt. Col. Gibson says he wasn’t told to stand down, just to not go to Benghazi. That seems to be at odds with what Greg Hicks remembered. Issa’s committee was still having closed doors meetings before the recess. They’ll be back soon. I hate this closed door stuff, since we the public don’t get to know what happened and in the case of Benghazi, we ought to know.

For those who are new to the CTH in the last month or two, here is a link that will take you a listing of the articles published since last fall on the situation in Benghazi.

Unfortunately, the media cannot see the irony of the picture. Its a shame how short the attention span of the public is. Of all the scandals out there, and they are coming fast and furious, this is the one that speaks the loudest as to the vile nature of this administration.

    • maryfrommarin says:

Agree one million percent. Benghazi proved that not only will this administration hang anyone out to dry, they are willing to hang anyone out to DIE. It makes no difference if they are political adversaries or loyal supporters; all are expendable and forgettable.

IMHO, it is actually more despicable if this is done to loyal supporters, like Amb. Stevens. At least political adversaries expect foul treatment. Allies and supporters don’t.

No wonder Dante put “betrayers of friendship” into the nlnth, and deepest, circle of hell.

But just like with 9/11, we will never forget.

Georgia politician and author Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King, is not pleased with the graphic portraying her uncle in a hoodie; i.e. he never would have worn a hoodie nor baggie pants that drag down his hips.

It’s amazing how the BGI needs to redefine, rewrite, redirect and repurpose for its own benefit.
