First, to address Eric Holder’s comments today:

[…] Independent of the legal determination that will be made, I believe that this tragedy provides yet another opportunity for our nation to speak honestly about the complicated and emotionally-charged issues that this case has raised. We must not – as we have too often in the past – let this opportunity pass.
[…] Moreover, I want to assure you that the Department will continue to act in a manner that is consistent with the facts and the law. We are committed to standing with the people of Sanford, with the individuals and families affected by this incident, and with our state and local partners in order to alleviate tensions, address community concerns, and promote healing. We are determined to meet division and confusion with understanding and compassion – and also with truth.

“Determined to meet division … with truth” Really? This is the type of comment you see associated with political pandering. Eric Holder already knows the truth, the FBI spent tens of thousands of hours looking for any evidence of racism in the Zimmerman case. None exists.
Such was their own conclusion. Yet, because it helps the prosecution position they kept the FBI Zimmerman file/case open. Kept open only so the Defense Team could not use the findings in the defense evidence of innocence.
What Holder is doing now is merely trying to provide a face saving distraction, an avoidance of sorts, so that he does not have to deliver the bitter pill of truth, yet. The crowd of his placation is not yet willing to accept the truth, they may never.
Simultaneous to this avoidance you have the face of the media trying desperately to keep a consuming public in the dark.  Avoiding the discovery of their agenda driven reporting is also a face-saving measure for them.
Two weeks before the shooting George Zimmerman, a socially liberal democrat who voted for President Obama, was working on the root causes of black teen violence. He, along with his wife Shellie, was mentoring fatherless black children who society has characterized as “at risk”.  George and Shellie were working on the root causes of risk for minorities, no leadership.
Meanwhile, in Miami Gardens the Miami-Dade School Police Department was trying to find ways to stop Trayvon Martin from engaging in unlawful behavior. In Miami-Dade they were trying to address the consequences for young black males who never encountered a strong role model. Their chosen method of addressing the issue was to hide the behavior behind diversionary practices designed to avoid contact with the criminal justice system.

In Miami-Dade, instead of leadership they were using legal manipulations like FERPA and HIPAA laws to conceal statistics of school-aged youth violence.  They were Baker Acting kids by the hundreds.  During Trayvon Martin’s Junior year, at the time of his suspension, the M-DSPD had already Baker-Acted 900 students through diversionary programs and the use of Crisis Intervention Teams.
Eventually Chief Hurley was fired.   However, he was only following orders.  The politically connected Alberto Carvalho, who was giving those orders, remains.
What they did in Miami-Dade deserves the full scrutiny of Eric Holder and the Federal Department of Justice because as sworn officers of the law they were falsifying documents to hide illegal behavior. But Attorney General Holder will never go to that root because it is: a.) too uncomfortable. and b.) would mean he would actually have to engage investigation of School Board Superintendent Alberto Carvalho; A staunch Democrat with strong and close ties to the White House.
The story of how District Superintendent Alberto Carvalho, and his assigned M-DSPD police Chief Charles Hurley, pressured school resource officers will probably never reach the full disinfecting sunlight. As the media trail hones in on that story, it will be avoided like the plague.   But we have written about it exhaustively.
Krop Senior High School Resource Officer Daryl Dunn, intentionally lied. Understand what I am saying here, he did not misreport, he lied; Well before Trayvon encountered George Zimmerman  the school officer lied by falsifying official police documents, such as arrest and incident reports, to hide Trayvon’s behavior.
Trayvon was found with stolen jewelry in school and a burglary tool. That was hidden, and the reporting falsified to put the stolen merchandise, taken from Trayvon’s back pack, in the property room of the M-DPD as “found items”. As if it was found in the parking lot. Trayvon was suspended from school, but avoided criminal investigation.
Then merely days before Trayvon was sent on a bus to Sanford, he was again caught in school with illegal items. Only this time it was with a marijuana pipe and the accompanying baggie of dope in his backpack. SRO Dunn used the same falsification process to avoid the criminality of behavior. He took the items, wrote them up as “found”, transferred them to police department evidence, and the school administration suspended Trayvon for 10 days. The third time in a half-completed school year.
Does the TRUTH fit the narrative of Trayvon Martin? Not even close. That is why the media will drop the story soon, because the TRUTH is too painful to admit.
George Zimmerman was preventing “at risk” black kids from engaging in behavior that would harm them; Meanwhile, in Miami, Alberto Carvalho, and Police Chief Charles Hurley were facilitating a continuation of the exact behavior.
There is a profound irony in this story. One far too painful for Eric Holder or The media to accept.
