Tuesday March 13th 2012, Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee again told the community there was nothing discovered in factual physical or witness evidence to dispute the statements made by George Zimmerman – not was there anything found which contradicted the hours of question, answers, and statements Mr. Zimmerman had voluntarily undertaken.

The NAACP was not happy with that:

It’s important to note the date of this letter submission by Obi Nweze, March 13th 2012.   Which led to the following media report – CLICK HERE

A Direct appeal by the Florida NAACP, to the DOJ-Community Relations Service (CRS), to intervene in the case.  Also note who is listed on the letterhead of the Florida Conference, Turner Clayton.

Clayton and Natalie Jackson are both Seminole Chapter members.   Also note who is quoted in the media report that highlighted  (on the same evening as the letter) the CRS request.  Yep, Natalie Jackson.

The ridiculous 2005 “Tugboat” arrest was first released in the same article containing Natalie Jackson as spokesperson – Natalie Jackson put the arrest in the media, and then the NAACP used the arrest narrative in their letter to the DOJ-CRS.

Remember who strong armed the Florida Legislature to give the family of Martin Lee Anderson $5,000,000 – from the State of Florida?

Crist and NAACP

2008 – Governor Charlie Crist meeting with Florida NAACP President Adora Obi Nweze of Miami to discuss juvenile justice.  “Afterward, they held a media availability in the lobby of the governor’s office. Crist is a life member of the NAACP.”  [Cotterell, Bill. State Archives of Florida, Florida Memory, https://floridamemory.com/items/show/23726]

Martin Lee Anderson Case –   Ben Crump and Daryl Parks attorneys –  On March 14, 2007, Gov. Charlie Crist recommended that the state agree to pay $5 million to Anderson’s family, in a deal that allowed the Anderson Family to pursue another $5 million from Bay county.   Bay County settled for $2,400,000.00
