Campaigner In Chief

President Obama may have suspended his campaign rallies due to Hurricane Sandy, but he managed to squeeze in his campaign slogan — intentionally or not — during a briefing Tuesday with federal emergency officials.

“The president made clear that he expects his team to remain focused as the immediate impacts of Hurricane Sandy continue and lean forward in their response,” the White House said in a statement about Mr. Obama’s video-teleconference that he conducted from the White House Situation Room. “Forward” is the slogan of his re-election campaign.

Everyone else in the photo is facing forward. Not B. Hussein Obama…

Ohh, the irony! B.O.’s campaign slogan is “Forward.” But B.O. can’t show his respect for Ambassador Stevens whom he made into HIS sacrificial lamb and maintain his attention FORWARD? Are you kidding me?

Lord, this man MUST GO! One week, folks!

My answer: “call Uncle Eddie!” 😀

Obama on Hurricane: ‘We Leave Nobody Behind’

…This is a tough time for a lot of people; millions of folks all across the Eastern Seaboard, but America’s tougher. And we’re tougher because we pull together, we leave nobody behind, we make sure we respond as a nation and remind ourselves that whenever an American is in need, all of stand together to make sure we’re providing the help that’s necessary.

I saw tv news coverage of this. What looked incongruous was that he had his podium with the presidential seal with him. Who does that? Did presidents always take their podia with them?

“An Obama campaign sign rises above the floodwaters..”

    Half-empty or half-full?

An Obama campaign sign rises above the floodwaters in front of a home as rain continues to fall in Norfolk, VA., Monday, Oct. 29, 2012. Hurricane Sandy continued on its path Monday, as the storm forced the shutdown of mass transit, schools and financial markets, sending coastal residents fleeing, and threatening a dangerous mix of high winds and soaking rain. He mentioned his slogan twice. He also told a little anecdote about a swing state not affected by Sandy. But no-one will call him on it.

“getting the resources where they are needed as quickly as possible” Really?? Like an AC-130 to Benghazi!!!

All politics are local! Get out the vote. Go door to door, offer to take the elderly to their polling place, do whatever it takes to persuade. Commit to a minimum of 10 Romney voters, then ask each of those 10 to commit to guaranteeing 10 others. The math is powerful. The nation is at stake, so no excuses! Get involved, please.

  10. Funny how he mistakes HIS slogan for that of MSNBC…
