The Benghazi Libya Fiasco Continues….. The Lies Begin to Show….

Thankfully the US State Department choose to pick a credibility fight with CNN or else non of the truth would ever be getting attention.   The latest developments in the ongoing lies and coverup.

Still Trying To Hide The Sun With Two Fingers

Despite the specific and intentional lying by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton the truth is beginning to slip out.   One of the more recent discoveries is despite Hillary stating on 9/20 (last Thursday) that the FBI was on the ground, the truth is even today, 15 days later, no-one from the FBI has been able to reach the Benghazi US Consulate grounds.   Let’s start by looking at a CNN interview last night:

So it is provably false that the FBI is in Benghazi. It is also provably false that the Libyan government is assisting the US government with any investigation. To the contrary the Libyan government is intentionally refusing to allow US investigators to reach the compound, and they are also stopping the FBI from questioning anyone they have detained or arrested in the murder of four Americans.

In addition it is now known with specificity that within 24 hours the State Department and the Obama administration had specific knowledge that the consulate attack was a direct act of terrorism.

(Via The Daily Beast)  Within 24 hours of the 9-11 anniversary attack on the United States consulate in Benghazi, U.S. intelligence agencies had strong indications al Qaeda–affiliated operatives were behind the attack, and had even pinpointed the location of one of those attackers. Three separate U.S. intelligence officials who spoke to The Daily Beast said the early information was enough to show that the attack was planned and the work of al Qaeda affiliates operating in Eastern Libya.

Nonetheless, it took until late last week for the White House and the administration to formally acknowledge that the Benghazi assault was a terrorist attack. On Sunday, Obama adviser Robert Gibbs explained the evolving narrative as a function of new information coming in quickly on the attacks. “We learned more information every single day about what happened,” Gibbs said on Fox News. “Nobody wants to get to the bottom of this faster than we do.”

The intelligence officials who spoke to The Daily Beast did so anonymously because they weren’t authorized to speak to the press. They said U.S. intelligence agencies developed leads on four of the participants of the attacks within 24 hours of the fire fight that took place mainly at an annex near the Benghazi consulate. For one of those individuals, the U.S. agencies were able to find his location after his use of social media. “We had two kinds of intelligence on one guy,” this official said. “We believe we had enough to target him.”

Another U.S. intelligence official said, “There was very good information on this in the first 24 hours. These guys have a return address. There are camps of people and a wide variety of things we could do.”

A spokesman for the National Security Council declined to comment for the story. But another U.S. intelligence official said, “I can’t get into specific numbers but soon after the attack we had a pretty good bead on some individuals involved in the attack.” (read more)

In addition the State Department is beginning to backtrack:

(Via TheNewYorkTimes)  Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on Wednesday suggested there was a link between the Qaeda franchise in North Africa and the attack at the American diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, that killed the American ambassador and three others. She was the highest-ranking Obama administration official to publicly make the connection, and her comments intensified what is becoming a fiercely partisan fight over whether the attack could have been prevented.

Mrs. Clinton did not offer any new evidence of a Qaeda link, and officials later said the question would be officially settled only after the F.B.I. completed a criminal inquiry, which could take months. But they said they had not ruled out the involvement of Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb — an affiliate of the international terrorist group with origins in Algeria — in an attack the administration initially described as a spontaneous protest turned violent.

Her remarks added to the administration’s evolving and at times muddled explanation of what happened on the evening of Sept. 11 and into the next morning. Republicans in Congress have accused President Obama of playing down possible terrorist involvement in the midst of a re-election campaign in which killing Osama bin Laden and crippling Al Qaeda are cited as major achievements.  (read more)

Of course, the legacy liberal media will totally disregard the fact that the Obama administration lied to the American public for fifteen days.   Apparently it doesn’t fit their agenda.

The entire Libyan uprising which began in Benghazi was driven by radical Islamists.  We have been sharing the visible al-Qaeda operatives for over a year and a half.   The Muslim Brotherhood, the Egyptian military, Salafists, al-Qaeda et al were the entire construct of the initial uprising against Gaddafi.   They hated him.

Feeling foolish yet Senator?

Yeah, that’s Benghazi in 2011, and Yeah, those are al-Qaeda flags in the hands of the “Rebels”

    Well, it’s a start … : o /

Mr. McCain, though, was still not satisfied with the president’s overall strategy.

“Did you ever hear the president utter the word ‘victory’ or ‘success’?” Mr. McCain said on “Fox and Friends.”

“Since when do you gauge success or failure by dates of withdrawal? He does not understand American exceptionalism. He does not believe that America should lead.”

“I understand that this election is about jobs and the economy … but I deeply regret that more Americans don’t know how serious this failed, feckless foreign policy is,” he continued.

“I think there is no question that the administration was covering up from day one,” Giuliani told Fox News. “Putting out a totally phony story to block the political criticism that the president took his eye off the ball. The president, in his haste to make himself a tremendous hero over getting bin Laden deserves credit, but my god, he wanted to make himself into a superhero.”

Giuliani went on to say that President Obama was “showing his failure all over the world” and compared him to former President Jimmy Carter.

And the mayor accused the media of providing cover for Obama’s “cover-up related to the security of the United States of America.”

“The only reason it isn’t played as a major scandal [is] the president has three-quarters of the media in the tank,” Giuliani said. “It’s a disgrace. It should be a scandal.”

The mayor added that the president had “checked out” because of the presidential campaign.

“Here is the problem, the world events haven’t checked out and the Islamic extremist terrorists haven’t checked out,” Giuliani said.

Earlier Thursday, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) told CBS News that it was “unbelievable” and “disgraceful” that the administration had initially blamed the video for the attack.

McCain, strong supporter of radical islamists in Libya, raises the bar for record setting hypocrisy. Ring the bell and give him another dish of Saudi cookies.

US officials knew Libya attack was terrorism within 24 hours, sources confirm

    Published September 27, 2012

URGENT: U.S. intelligence officials knew from Day One that the assault on the U.S. Consulate in Libya was a terrorist attack and suspected Al Qaeda-tied elements were involved, sources told Fox News — though it took the administration a week to acknowledge it.

Let’s take this to the bottom line: for the vast majority of the voters waiting to see what’s next on The Voice and/or trying to fathom the philosophical depths the latest Kathy Lee and Hoda program, NONE OF THIS REALLY MATTERS. I talk to folks on the street and around the city and this is foreign, thousands of miles away. Many can’t even find Libya on a map. Back to the point that ‘all politics are local’ and Libya jes’ ain’t local. They blissfully take it that this does not directly effect them, that someone’s taking care of it and blah blah blah. They are more worried that some local thug will mug them than if al Qaeda or whoever will bomb an embassy in some godawful sh*thole of a country they couldn’t care less about. The POtuS and State know that all they have to do is manage the fallout and spin it until the public’s short attention span flits to something like the new TV season that’s going into full run this month.

I had an uncle By marriage Who was heavily involved in local politics He made the comment that The average person doesn’t remember what they had for breakfast. That was a cynical Remark Of a hustler. It explains the indifference Which is infuriating To me. This indeed represents a certain portion of the public.

LOL Most folks of legal voting age who vote democrat are apparently UN-able to buy, acquire or get an ID so they can vote. These folks don’t need any ID in their life not for any reason.
BUT they demand the right to vote.

  5. apachetears says:

And yet the MSM is crowing that the Public believes the Democrats/Obama admin has more honest ads than the Republican’s.
    Honesty? Obama?

  6. sybiljx1 says:

The Wall Street Journal sees something more sinister afoot. In an editorial today, the Journal accused Reines of attacking CNN (and Hastings) in order “to protect his boss’s legacy for her 2016 Presidential run.”

“Mrs. Clinton’s long-time and closest media adviser chose to attack CNN. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Philippe Reines called the network’s conduct “disgusting.” He then deployed words not fit for a family newspaper in an exchange with a reporter for the Web site BuzzFeed,” reads the unsigned editorial. “Mr. Reines may wish to protect his boss’s legacy for her 2016 Presidential run, but that won’t be enhanced by the appearance of a cover-up.”

    The Libya Debacle
The more we learn, the more Benghazi looks like a gross security failure.

You must get a hold of Megan Kelly show clip today with the disgusting spin they are putting on their lies. Don’t remember who it was but it was right before Netanyahu’s speech.

    WTF of Arizona.
Joy Obnoxious Behar tweeted 1 hour ago: ” @JoyVBehar
“Obama is being bashed for doing the View instead of meeting world leaders. Maybe he’d rather talk to me than Netanyahu. Ever think of that? ”
Yes, we have thought of that and that’s the part that is so scary. We’re sorry you can’t see that world leaders are a bit more important than the likes of you!!!..Proof once again that liberalism is a mental disorder!!…WTF?

The success in the Middle East is not a success for the USA nor the people that live there but a success for the radical groups that are taking charge. The next war will be very messy.

  10. czarowniczy says:

If the POtuS has his way the next war will be a civil/race war – his fairly successful class war is what’s going to be one of the main reasons for his probable win in November. I don’t think he’s in the mood for another foreign war, he’ll try to pawn that off on the UN and then blame world inaction for the resulting debacle. I really believe he’d like to see a ‘race’ or neo-civil war start – it would most likely be on a small scale – so that he could wield the Big Stick to once-and-fore all reinvent the Us into his personal idea of what Amerika should be. This Constitutional-legislative process just ain’t cuttin’ it and he’s tired of playing nice, he wants Pol Pot changes and he wants them now. He’ll let the Religion of Peace visit another Shoah on Israel, he’s already stripped some historical protection away that the US used to provide. As the number of Muslims in the US rise (est 2.6 million) they will easily offset the more Zionist Jewish votes he’ll lose as he caters to the Muslims more. The number of Muslims, especially immigrants, in the US has doubled since 9/11 and continues unabated as the smoke-and-mirror masters keep attention focused on the ‘Mexican’ immigration. How long before homegrown Hezbollah or Hamas groups here start lobbing homemade rockets into non-Muslim areas? Next war will be messy all right, messy and right here.
