Gave 4 Million To Charities…..

Mitt Romney released his tax returns from 2011 today.   He made roughly $13.7 million from his investments.   He paid $1.9 million in taxes and gave over $4 million to charity.

Giving 30% of your earnings to charity speaks loudly to the construct of a persons character because it’s what you do when you don’t *have to*.

Despite all of Mitt Romney’s shortcomings, most of which are optical stiffness, he and his wife are very genuine, honest, caring and generous people.

It’s a nice photo, sad to think that libs will make nothing but snarky remarks and vile inudendo on it.

I agree, the last couple weeks the image I see emerging is that Romney is a genuine person.

TV gives us this twisted image of church leaders. All that I have met have been extraordinary people with unlimited selfless giving toward others.

My little calculator tells me he paid 13.8% of his gross income in taxes.

So in order to be perfectly fair, may we expect that the 36% (in 2008) who paid NO TAXES will henceforth cough up a minimum of 13.8% of their incomes?

According to the Tax Foundation report, of the more than 142 million returns filed in 2008, almost 52 million have no tax liability. That means more than 36 percent of tax filers paid no income taxes in 2008 – a new record high. This was a steep increase over 2007 when fewer than 33 percent of filers paid no taxes. As the table below shows, the growth of non-payers is a long-term trend that has been accelerating in recent years. For instance, 21 percent of taxpayers were non-payers in 1990.

    http://blog.heritage.org/2010/03/11/government-dependency-grows-as-non-paying-taxpayers-hits-record-level/

Summary: In order to have the middle class and poverty class pay their fair share, looks to me like they should be forking over a minimum of 13.8% of their income.

It’s the non-taxpayer that is not paying their fair share. Duh. And I suspect it’s a fact that “the rich” would be content to let things continue as they are if at least the non-taxpayers could knock off the belly-aching and acknowledge the truth of the matter.

The picture above is what ones sees of Anne Romney way over 75% of the time…And it does seem that no matter what Anne wears she does look good in it..

First impressions are important, when your first meetings are always a put down on everyone else who does not think her husband is a god, and exclaim that I am finally proud of my country, it sets a bad tone, that is hard to overcome.

Why do you “hate” it when people put down the mooch? She’s an elitist who seriously does not love our country and was only proud of it when her baby daddy got elected, thereby ensuring that she, he, and those girls will live in luxury for the rest of their lives.

And as Rush said, that’s money that’s already been taxed. So it’s double dipped taxation.

Lol can just see Obama administration going “Aghhhhhh! He beat us out again!! ”
Good for R/R, Lawd does this Country need a change, the light can be seen at the end of the tunnel.
