I just heard something interesting a few days ago about whether or not Kamala has a child of her own.
I used to work for a company that enrolled City and County of San Francisco in benefit plans. My coworker and friend said that she sat down with Kamala and enrolled her in employee benefit plans when she worked for the City and County of San Francisco. My coworkers’ story is that Kamala told her she has a son who was enrolled on her benefit plan. My friend thought maybe the child was autistic. The child would be about 20 now.
I searched and searched and could find no proof of this claim however.
My friend did say that Kamala is a very unlikable person who is not nice to anyone. That snarkiness is how she always is and treats subordinates like dirt.

As a kid, I got caught by my father for telling a big lie that involved people outside the family and lasted 4 of the most agonizing days of my young life. Dad decided he and I should go for a drive and we went to a roadside diner about 30 miles from home and he bought me a soda. After we finished and got back in the car he told me he was just going to have to beat the hell out of me for telling that lie. I was already whipped from 30 miles of anticipation of my fate by the time we got home, so Dad only had to give me two lashes with his belt before he had gotten to my young mind through the seat of my pants. I had to go make a couple of apologies to the other people and got grounded for two weeks and sent to my room because Dad said he just detested liars and wanted me out of his sight for a while. But the most vivid memory of the incident that I have is what Dad told me when he let me come out a couple of hours later. He told young Pokey that the worst thing about telling lies is that you have to remember what lie you told to every person you lied to forever. Then he said that telling the truth is always easier because the truth is the only thing you can always remember.

Looking at the image I think the problem is with her make-up. It’s too light for her skin tone. Usually she has a sort of cafe au lait color and this is just too artificial. The pale pink color catches the harsh overhead light (which should have been fixed before the Zoom) and catches the bump on her nose. I know that I have to “adjust” things when I do a Zoom these days, otherwise I look like a zombie rising from the grave. Kamala might just do herself a favor and show up for the damn hearing.

The surprising thing is most people are a LOT better and more skilled looking glancing at notes that they wrote on a large piece of paper. Some people never get good at reading a teleprompter which begs the question where has this amateur clown been?

I find the timing of the World Heath Organization’s recent announcement regarding the negative impact of the pandemic-related economic shutdown most interesting.
