It’s been a while, several years, but there’s a solid frame of reference for long-time CTH readers to understand a tweet today from the FBI.
The tweet (link here) takes you to a file folder of a previous investigation into the Clinton Foundation (destination here and pdf below).
The MSM and the internet have exploded with speculation about what’s going on and why would the FBI be transmitting this tweet, albeit doing so under the reasonable auspices of a FOIA release.
Those of you who remember the Zimmerman case, specifically our crowd-sourcing research and boots on the ground investigation, and more specifically how Don West used the approach of “francining” to signal only those who were deep in the weeds – well, you select crew have a pretty good understanding of what’s going on here, only on a much bigger scale.
Previously we shared the term “shadow government” was not a conspiracy issue. Quite the contrary, it’s very real.
Then, uncomfortably anticipating this might actually occur, we began to nudge the discussion toward White Hats -vs- Black Hats within large, complex and multidimensional organizations.

This initial release consists of material from the FBI’s files related to the William J. Clinton Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The bulk of these records come from a 2001 FBI investigation into the pardon of Marc Rich (1934-2013), aka Marcell David Reich, by President Clinton in 2001; it was closed in 2005. The material is heavily redacted due to personal privacy protections and grand jury secrecy rules (link)

Sherlock Nailed It – I assume everybody here knows it, but Kadzik, the AG who now promises an “expedited review” of the Huma/Weiner/Clinton emails, was Marc Rich’s attorney. (This, obviously, before he joined the Justice Dept. in 2013). He was lobbying Podesta for help obtaining a pardon for the fugitive Rich, which he got. And it stunk to high heaven. It appeared, and was reported, that Kadzik was recruited by the Rich people specifically because of his friendship with Podesta.
For those looking for a subliminal message in the timing of the file release, perhaps it is the FBI’s way of telling us what we already suspect–Kadzik’s involvement in the current Weiner/Huma/Clinton situation is cause for alarm.
“Francining” is speaking or communicating via a public broadcast in such a manner as only specific recipients would grasp the implication of the information shared. Those recipients would then automatically know what to do with the information. It’s like talking in an open code, ultimately only known to those immersed in the nuance.
In the Zimmerman case, attorney Don West openly discussed things in court (mostly pre-trial) that didn’t seem to make any sense, except for those who knew the stuff the prosecution and the media was hiding or willfully blind toward. (ie. “Francine”, aka Dee Dee, aka Ms. Rachel Jeantel’s mysterious “friend” who wrote the cursive letter Jeantel couldn’t read, and who secretly accompanied Jeantel to the State Attorney’s office when the State discovered Jeantel was not who/what they previously claimed she was.)
